A warrior's death was never considered dishonest, seeking challenge is one of the many things a mandalorian must do to earn his way into manda(heaven). For without seeking struggle, how can one claim to have a life as a member of the manda'ode? Their people have constantly been at the brink of extinction before, yet always had seemed to have risen. Especially during the greatest of pivotal moments in the galaxy, the galaxy would not be standing without them. The Vong would have reigned free had Boba Fett not become the mand'alor and helped defeat them. Long after that the those who revered the resol'nare always seemed to thwart empires that got too greedy. Today it was The Sith Empire, who had gotten too greedy and ambitious to think that the clans would sit back and dissipate.

This agent may not have served the sith, but was just as guilty to Sidiqq. Many knew of the genocide that the sith tyrants carried out when they pushed for dominance against the mandalorian homeland. To do business with a genocidal government is to endorse it's behavior, and even encourage it in certain cases. To warn tyrants about the weaponry that the A'lors men had and assist the enemy in defending this very terminal was also just as bad. However, this was no longer any time for words, that passed the moment both of them made a decision to raise weapons against one another in this stage of the deadly duel.

Many foes had tried to poison the trandoshan before, however one of the many benefits that trandoshans were known to have; Was that they were immune or resistant to a plethora of toxins. While the toxin was painful, the immune system and body of the reptilian began to do its work of magic in repelling this toxin. Tho this was not the only thing entering overdrive, adrenaline flowed throughout the body of the obviously losing combatant. To the dismay of the cold blooded warrior, his arm was now also cut off. Thankfully in time this would grow back, should the lizard being find a way to survive this deathly encounter. While that blow connected, the attack to stab the neck of the bleeding rogue would not. There was a reason many amongst the galaxy wore scales of trandoshans as a sign of strength and prowess. They were damned tough to kill, especially with mandalorian training, with agility the being would kick upward with his long leg stride. At such a close range, it was unlikely the attack would miss, especially with the swiftness of a shadow warrior.

Should the blow connect it would cause the figure to likely fly into a nearby wall. Especially in such close range, the superior physical power would be an advantage. If this were to be the end of the young A'lor then so be it, he would make his end echo throughout the battlefield. The wall that his opponent would likely fall into was also surging with electricity now sparkling from the previous gunfight. From the lights , to the walls , there were plenty of opportunities to drive his opponent into a wave of shocking electricity. If conventional means could not hurt his foe that possessed high quality armor. Then electrical waves would do just fine for the unorthodox figure, if he couldn't live to see the nation he is fighting for. Then the bleeding, and light headed being would die fighting with his last breath, and should he somehow survive. Well, it would be a good story for his children he planned on having.

However, the cold and calculating combatant believed the outcome was likely his death and he was rarely wrong. The battle continued to rage on outside and now in the outer parts of the facility. Any mandalorian dying in the facility before the main siege force of Clan Ordo had begun it's assault, would not die in vain thankfully. The Mandalorian Union would rise from this war of independence, a mandalorian nation built for all who revere the resol'nare, for mandalorians. Meanwhile, his foe would likely be distracted, and with this distraction he would take this time to crawl to cover. This would be a well welcomed opportunity to gather, and recover . With the door sealed he would have to defeat her or find a way to unseal it to escape and receive medical attention.

Questions would surge through the reptilian and predator like brain: If this was a real date then the Ordo wondered what making love was to this blasted women? Who was she exactly? She was not a mercenary, she was not a Sith Empire Official, where does her training come from? The very thought was peculiar to the dexterous and swift combatant. However, this would have to be pondered at a different time , focus is what was needed and quickly .It was time to return to a controlled and collected state, in order to focus on the appropriate course of action. The hunt was not over, and the hunter would not easily let his prey beat him. Despite her bewildering sense of what a date and dance should be like, do all soft shells have this kind of mating ritual?

SWTOR – Chapter 14 music

Ingrid really had no case with the Mandalorians before, she was only there at Wayland, but also there to arrest or kill K Kaine Australis . She didn't touch any Mando, only fought an Echani Jedi woman on AMCO AMCO 's side. Nothing more. Oh, sorry, there was another one case, though she wasn't involved. When a group of Mandalorian bounty hunters attacked the L’lerim clan years earlier. They also captured Kessia Miran Kessia Miran , a member of the Cadera clan. Since then, after brainwashing and now as a sithspawn, she has served the House L’lerim. But nothing more.

Ingrid personally never agreed to any genocide. She may have been on the Dark Side and was able to kill anyone mercilessly, without emotion, but regardless, she has always opposed genocide. She was not there at Bakura, and she was also trying to avoid the massacre on Orellon II. From this, she even considered herself a monster who would be able to kill even her husband and her fiancé, even though she loved the two men in case someone tried to use them against her. It might be hard and a good portion of her soul would die with them, but she would. She did it once, even as a teenager.

Ingrid was never power-hungry, only for a few seconds, but it wasn't her, but Scherezade's essence, which she stole from the woman. Fortunately, she returned. The power never interested the woman, there was simply no tyrant or anything like that. She was interested in her own people, keeping their welfare in mind.

She managed to cut off her opponent's hand, however, she was no longer able to carry out the second attack completely because it was blocked by electricity. Precisely because she was all in a spasm she couldn’t avoid kicking either. Most of this was also captured by the armour, but it certainly collected a larger bruise. If she doesn't feel it now, she’ll catch it when her adrenaline has run out of her body, or just the next day when she wakes up after sleep. She slammed back against the wall and fell to the ground. Her armour was conducting current, so it just went through it and barely felt it. It's good that she designed the armour that way. Fortunately, she held the two swords convulsively because of the convulsion in her hand.

She now had a few seconds, so she relaxed her muscles as she learned during her studies to make the cramps go away. The pain eased as the cramps did not twitch in her muscles. Luckily, Ingrid was able to ground the former attack, so it couldn't be fatal to her. Had it not been so and she had more metallic armour on it, she would probably have died in it. Regardless, it was still not the most pleasant move. Ingrid loved the pain, but not this kind and not in a situation like that, but because of that, she endured it better. Not to mention that she was tortured several times during her training to learn to resist and endure. She rolled a little farther off the ground to be further away from the electric wall.

She stood up in a quick motion, now her movement was not so elegant because everything was still hurt and she was convulsing, but the movement helped a lot. It was even easier to stretch and relax her muscles while standing. Since her opponent apparently didn’t come after her, Ingrid had time to relax her muscles a little further so she could move more easily. She cracked her bones and muscles. She only had so much pain that now, it was more lustful than really painful, she reached the state where she was starting to feel really good. However, her head and thoughts remained clean and cold.

In the Force she could still feel where the other was, weakly, but that was plenty enough for her. The red-haired woman swung closer to the other, so she could feel the cramps better as she moved, but she didn't deal with it right now. If she has any stretches or injuries because of this, she can rest them and heal herself with the Force, later. Now, however, she deliberately tried to avoid places from where she could end up on the wall or in a place where her opponent could shock her again. When she gets close to him, this time she tries to cut off the other arm of the trandoshan, hoping she can finally finish the fight.

// OBJECTIVE // Terminate Mandalorians
// ALLIES // Kytana
// ENEMIES // Shai Maji Shai Maji Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla Darsch Vizsla
//EQUIPMENT// In Bio; Armed with CF6 Concussion Rifle as primary weapon.

The fall wasn't anything, truth be told she had taken harder falls from rolling out of bed in the morning. Aerith felt her head strike something, hard the sound of something cracking, and when her sight returned she found her visor had shattered, revealing her to the world. She rose to her feet, her body aching, but otherwise fine. A cloud of dust and debris kicked up, as Aerith could hear the deranged howling of the Sith monsters that had been unleashed. That was the signal to strike, her implants flaired up as new orders were transmitted to her.

Engage in counter offensive. Eliminate all Mandalorians.

The red text burned across her optical implant, as a new priority had been slotted into the to do list in her brain. Unfortunately, she had more important buisness to attend to, as Aerith's eyes fixated on Shai. The Mandalorian had a weapon raised to her, voice breaking, tears evident. The response was automatic. It was pure luck that Aerith prevented herself from firing on Shai, but that was little comfort giving everything else. Despite her wishes, Aerith trained her side arm on the Shistavanen. Her hand trembled, wishing she could release the grip, wanting in vain to flip on the safety at least, but her weapon remained trained on Shai.

As the Shistavanen dropped her weapon, Aerith could only stand there and listen to her pleas, her whole being struggling to not pull the trigger. "I can't stop it." She muttered, her gun arm trembling as Aerith felt a degree of control take over, though she found trying to release the weapon to be thoroughly impossible. The feedback of her implants scrolled across, as if to remind her how powerless she was in this situation. She felt like she was wrestling with a greased snake, able to feel everything in her arm, but feeling the system fight her as she tried to assert control. Little by little though, she could feel herself slipping, the trembling in her arm slowing, as the aim was steadied by the cybernetics overriding her commands.

Can not disarm without compromising host. Asserting direct control.

Aerith broke as the message scrolled across her eye, the stinging sensation in her eyes giving way to a steady stream of tears as she spoke, voice cracking as she did. "Shai, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Sha-" She felt the control she had slip out of her reach, her eyes widening as Aerith's digit pulled the trigger.

Tears rolled and whimpers flowed from the battered Shistavanen as she laid where she was, hoping her friend would be able to comfort her. But when Aerith spoke up, Shai's crying ceased and her heart sank at the sight of the pistol trained on her. "Aerith, don't. Please don't!" she begged, but there was no chance. Despite seeing her trying to fight it, she knew Aerith wasn't going to be able to stop herself. So instead she scrammed to get her second pistol. Aerith's old SR-17 she gave her.

She fought through the overwhelming pain and managed to draw the pistol with her left hand, taking aim at Aerith. "Please don't do this Aerith, I don't want to hurt you." she begged again, the tears and blood in her eyes making it hard to keep a good target.

Aerith was losing the fight and Shai was coming to the conclusion that there was no way out of this. "I'm sorry." she blubbered as she shut her eyes and pulled the trigger.

Her shots went off at the same time as Aerith's, trailing up from the cyborg's chest up to the cybernetic part of her face. However the pain in her arm was replaced with a new one. Her eyes opened and looked down at her arm, opening wide in shock as she noticed her arm was lying beside her, no longer connected to the rest of her upper arm.

She dropped the pistol and reached over, trying to comprehend the fact that she was taking hold of her own arm but not feeling it. She then looked to Aerith, unable to process what was happening.

If sje was now truly alone, she would bring up her left arm and open a comm channel with the rest of her unit. "This is Shai. I-I need... I need help. I..." the ability to speak left her as she broke down over the commlink. Her location was broadcasted but she could no longer speak as she balled like a child.

She looked back to Aerith and tried to crawl towards her. Her feet snagged but with a final yank she managed to pry them loose at the cost of her boots. With a struggle she crawled towards her and tried to wrap an arm around her leg in a desperate hug. However just as she reached her and hugged her leg, she felt her consciousness slipping once more.

There was nothing more she could do as everything faded to black...

Talon stood still looking out onto the city, the men were starting there way into the building heading to the rooftop access. Talon motioned for the men to follow him as they continued to go across the buildings. One of the men slipped falling on a slanted roof. He fell, the slabs sliding with him, as he fell into the alleyway.

Looking down the commando had hit the ground, the man not moving, if he survived it wouldn't be for long, as they were still being followed by the soldiers. That was when one of his men turned to him, turning the sound up so he could hear it,

"This is Shai. I-I need... I need help. I..."

Nodding, the Mandalorian who had played the message for the group pointed in a direction. Talon started off in that direction, pulling his H1 off his back.

Looking through a window, he looked at the downed cyborg, looking down the scope, he stared through the glass loading the massive bullet into the weapon. "<Sir, that is ballistic glass, you won't do much damage, if any.>"

"<My goal is not to kill whatever the hell that is, just maim it.>" He could only see the torso of the thing, he assumed it was an enemy, due to the proximity to the emergency. A loud crack could be heard as the bullet went through the glass in the cyborgs direction. Standing he fired his cable, climbing down, the others followed.

Walking in he looked at the scene he saw, "<Shit, we fired on friendly. I'll grab Shai, one of you grab the other, whoever isn't doing anything, call the medstation, get them notified.>" This is when he walked over to Shai, picking her up, while the other Mandalorian picked up the other. They started to make their way to the medstation.

As the information from Severous came in, it was transferred to the true admiral. Adenn was the Alor, but he wasn't the best the Clan had to offer for space combat. The admiral took in the information and then looked over the space battlefield. It honestly mattered little where those destroyers hit, so long as they took the pressure off of Mors Classemque(the fleet). Deciding to tell him that, the admiral opened a line, and a new voice responded to Severous.

"Very well Severous Augustus, thank you. This is the Admiral. hit them where you please, just draw their fire from us and we'll survive." That statement was punctuated by an explosion on the hull of one of the Deceivers. "Best do it quickly though."

With that done, the admiral turned back and issued more commands. He was glad, just as the rest of the fleet was, that someone had answered. While they weren't the most numerous, Clan Mortui could pack a punch, something Jaster Awaud would find out eventually. Shaking those thoughts from his head, the admiral focused on the battle at hand, barking out more orders.

yTqNtKw.png

Adenn flew down to Mandalore aboard Calyr, armed to the teeth with weapons, and leading an army of like minded and armed individuals. As he flew down, a call went out, and countless Clan Mortui Mando's hopped aboard their own Tracyn Mirshko's, taking to the sky with fury. They formed up on Adenn and flew high, taking in the battlefield and what the Hydra was doing. Grinning vicously at what he saw, Adenn had one simple thought cross his mind as the Hydra attacked.
'All according to plan.'

Around Hell's Angel, the escort walkers moved to support their Titan God. The Heavy Walkers moved to flank the Hydra once it charged, even as numerous of the Hellwalkers and other vehicles moved forward as they had before. None fired yet, seeking to draw the Hydra in close instead. And they dragged the Hydra in close, for the beast charged Hell's Angel. In its charge, it managed to unintentionally destroy several lesser Hellwalkers, Titan Tanks, and countless Clan Mortui kinsmen. At that, the rest of the regular troops got wise and moved as far from the waging Gods of war as they could, even as the vehicles moved closer to fire.

With Hell's Angel, the titan was far enough back that the tail of the Hydra just hit the shields of the mech. Nonetheless, this helped drain the shields somewhat, even as the Hydra charged. Stepping forward to meet the charge, Hell's Angel shook as the Hydra rammed it. Despite being prepared for this attack, Hell's Angel was still pushed back, gauging lines into the ground for a dozen meters. Not long in the grand scheme of things, but for a simple ram to push that far spoke of the power the Hydra possessed.

Despite this power, it was still a beast, and didn't see the artillery on top of Hell's Angel as a true threat. As such, the heads that attacked the most openly latched onto Hell's Angels 'shoulders.' Nonetheless, one the artillery canons was partially disabled thanks to the bite, while the rest where damaged to some degree or another. Grinning in dark joy, the pilots of the mech had the artillery fire once more, even as the main laser canon finished charging up. With the push of a button, the artillery fired once more, aiming to shoot straight into the mouths of the Hydra, perhaps down the throat and into its guts.

Another two seconds later, and Hell's Angel let loose with the M5 Assault Laser Canon. The weapon fired for a few, short seconds, straight at the main body of the Hydra, before cutting out once more. With that attack done, Hell's Angel roared once more, straight into one of the many faces of the Hydra.

There is a rumor. It is shared as a warning, as a praise, as a condemnation. Spread to the far reaches of the galaxy to all people of all walks of life.
Mandalorians do not fear death, they say. This is a lie. No group can truly accept death. There will always be those that run from it, that hide from it, that fight it. Always those that will fear it. Venku Bralor had long since accepted his own mortality. Everything died in the end. This didn't mean he sought death; he had too much to live for, nor did it mean the concept sparked no fear in him. Nevertheless, he knew it would come for him, as it came for them all. Despite all his ponderings over death and the matter of the end, he never once thought there could be anything worse than it. Oh he had known logically that there could be worse things, but knowing and seeing were two very different things.

No longer.
Before him stood his brother, who bled disgust and hatred into the force. Not anger. Anger required him to see those before him as something of enough import to warrant the emotion. Venku doubted that was even possible. The LMG Riil wielded spewed death, sending blaster bolts pinging against his armor. He was lucky to avoid a shot to the legs, even as he dove behind a chunk of fallen debris. A shot to his left arm was worth the retained mobility, even if the cauterized wound burned worse than tiingilar.

At his right two more mandalorians crouched, more members of his small group which had been held up by these foes. The rest of his forces were busy subduing the city. The
volpai turned to him, a still steaming blaster wound in her knee. His helmet does nothing to filter out the scent of burnt flesh. “What’s the plan, Rallymaster?” Her voice is not calm per say, it is tinged with too much pain to be considered calm, but it is confident. She is confident in him. The thought is astounding. He’s responsible for her and all the other soldiers he leads. It had never been such a burden.

A blaster bolt lands uncomfortably close to his tail. He would not let these people die. They would free manda’yaim.

Calming his breath, Venku begins to speak, outlining the plan. Their enemies, he would not call them dar’manda, his brother was not dar’manda, relied heavily upon the air and swift attacks. They would have to drop them, get them on an even playing field.
“This is Rallymaster Bralor. I need immediate back up, we’re pinned down!” Supplying his coordinates, Venku didn’t bother waiting for a response. He began to fire, aiming for his brother, and for those in the air that threatened his men. One fell out of the sky, his jumpack sparking from the blaster bolt, before he was forced to turn back to his brother. This was his fight. He wouldn’t lay the burden of his brother's death on others. He returned fire with his
heavy blaster, however much it tore at him to fight, he wouldn’t let them hurt his men. They were his responsibility. He wouldn’t let them die.

Adrenaline burned in the back of his mind, feeding his instincts of protect, defend, survive. A part of Venku hated himself for the reaction, for the person it's directed against. A part of him rends his heart into pieces with beskar claws and fiery fangs. A part of him cries as he shoots at his brother, tears leaking from his eyes and tangling in his soggy matted fur. A bigger part of him is too caught up in the fight to give it much thought. The tears come anyway, and his hands find themselves aiming for nonlethal but crippling shots.

The Mandalorian fired, the red bolts succeeding in taking Cara's attention.

The first--

Had met the back of her hand.

The second--

Was splashed against the middle of her forearm.

The third--

Found purchase below her ribcage.

She bared her teeth and gasped a breath. It burned hot, the blast heating the metal that touched what little skin remained on her torso. Unlike her skirmish on Myrkr the engineer risked a glance to the damage, at that moment sensing the activation of a device near the Mando's location. She instinctively threw out a hand to defend herself.

The sear of electricity brought with it a bite of
nostalgia. As before the circuit breakers performed their task, but her organic parts were less up to the challenge. The muscles of her legs tensed then released sending her to her knees. Curls of smoke rose from her arm and coat, the plumes dancing up and down as she breathed heavy.

In the hallway behind the thuds of footsteps ceased, replaced with an anxious silence.

A sudden, hollow screech echoed in the hall followed by the rising of a yellow glow.

Dragging her free hand Dorniarn reached into her coat pocket and shakily pulled out a pair of goggles,

"Safety first."

Severous ignored the transmission. No need to reply this time.

The fleet was seconds away from reaching an optimal firing distance. Once they reached it, they would cut power from the engines to power the guns and shields, and unload a barrage of fire on the Sith fleet. The Mando Admiral's ship was taking an extraordinary amount of punishment. It appears that the Order of The Force had arrived at the perfect time.

"All power from the engines to the guns. Everyone, aim for the center mass of the Sith fleet."

The ship went silent for a moment, then the lights flickered, followed by a violent shake. The room was illuminated in a red glow as every gun fired at once. The other ships followed the barrage, as the Sith ship was overwhelmed. It likely wouldn't last long against the assault.

"Admiral, we've arrived. Expect results within the minute."

Devil's Souls

Bigger. Stronger.

Teyn, the Mand'alor, the farmer, the soldier - names and titles didn't matter here, didn't matter now. They never had, really, but in this moment the only thing that the two fighters cared about was putting the other to their knees and taking from them their honor as a warrior. Lips curled at the corner of a helmet-covered mouth into a smirk as he tossed his blaster to the side and unclasped his beskad from his side with his other hand. "Well then, Kreslin, let this determine who leads the clans and who is cast from its number." Gratiir declared as he stalked towards the silvery-plated Mandalorian, his voice distorted through the modulation of his helmet.

He sized up his opponent with a sweeping gaze, estimating they were likely the same or of similar height and likely both wore similarly effective beskar - but that was where their similarities both began and ended, as Teyn's build and sheer physical size made him a much more physically imposing foe. Tall, powerful, the moment he'd get his hands on the other Mandalorian he would be sure to force him into submission, if not by sheer strength then by the force of will he carried with him, and certainly with the grip strength of the crushgaunts he wore.

But, as with any fight, one must cast the first stone.

And so he leaped, his beskad coming down in a smooth, and heavy, arc towards his enemy.

With taking time to think, the attack came sooner then expected. There was no time for the severely wounded being to fight with a a long term solution, defeat was the calculated end point of this scenario. Throwing yet another force breaker grenade, the debris and toxins at such a close range would hopefully begin to create a sense of deliriousness. If she was gonna create more scathing pain by cutting off his other arm, then the best the wounded warrior could do is be a pest. The loss of blood, the loss of limb, the amount of painting and seething pain, the orange eyes of the reptilian could barely stay open.

Launched and with full momentum, there was no was she was not going to make her mark against the immobile being. The trandoshan had taken too much punishment, there was just no more reply for any attacks she would make. With a loud sound of rough scales and flesh being cut, the hard skinned being would grunt with pain from such a terrible event. After all this time as a bounty hunter, the combatant had not had a limb cut off in this manner. Such a combatant that could actually touch the shadow warrior and cut off limbs of the being, that is a testament to this "business" women's skill.

Now temporarily armless, the A'lor closed his pale eyes, his body beaten to a pulp. Was he dead, or simply passed out from the blood loss? Only time would tell, but for the moment the body of the lizard warrior was limp and motionless. What was certain is that the mandalorian was at the mercy of the operative in this fight. Unconscious, she could kill the defeated rogue in cold blood or leave him to his fate. What would she do?

Kreslin did not try and block the first strike Teyn launched. From the moment the Mand'alor had appeared, Kreslin had been judging him. How he moved, how he held himself, and the confidence in his stride as he stalked forward. Before he had even drawn his Beskad, he knew his opponent was stronger than him, and his reach was greater than his own. He would have to rely on speed, and asset that had little effect against a warrior as experienced as the one he faced, but it was his best option until he could come up with another plan.

As the Beskad descended, he sidestepped. He brought his right arm up in a flourish, the armorweave cloak over his side briefly blocking his foes sight of him as he moved away, spinning to the side and narrowly escaping the first strike as it flew past him. In the same motion, he reversed the grip on his Beskad and slashed backwards with it and up, aiming to hit his opponents extended hand. As he fought, he spoke, his voice filled with pity and scorn as he lashed out against the embodiment of all the Mandalorian Union had come this day to fight against.

"You think you lead the Clans? How many survived the purge? How many of our brothers and sisters survived the the actions of your new master, the Sith? You lead nothing but a chamber of echoes. Echoes of those you have turned your back on,
Mand'alor."

The Emperor watched the fading sight of Mandalore speed away into the distance, his face an impassive mask. He had exacted all that he could of the ruined world, drained it of its resources, and tore apart its surface. All that remained was a desiccated husk, and he had no further use for it.
Nor did he have any further use for the Mandalorians he had managed to enthrall, they could tire themselves out fighting a futile struggle.
Let them be destroyed, he shall find other servants.
The Graug, on the other hand, were far more valuable. Those who mattered most to the Emperor had been shuttled off-world during the chaos, the rest were commanded to remain a thorn in the Mandalorian's side while they attempted to rebuild their shattered world. Those that fought on the surface would remain to do so, their lives were easily sacrifices. Many more had been told to hide away in the innumerable burrows and tunnels they had dug below the planet's surface.
His grudge sated for the time being, the Emperor turned away from the viewport as the ship carrying him jumped to hyperspace.

Another grenade, this time she saw it was a Force-block grenade again, but now she didn't care. After the explosion, the shrapnel stood in her armour or was torn in some places, allowing the poison to get into the armour as well, inadvertently inhaling it even more. The world was slowly beginning to become familiar to her, as it had been a few years before, when the Force Sensitive state was just dormant in her. Fortunately, that’s exactly why this condition didn’t bother her. Cramps and pain all over her body were a more confusing factor.

She knew where her opponent was and got there, another cut, another limb that the other lost. Now the only question was how to end the fight. Her opponent wasn't really conscious anymore. If she just kills it now, it's pretty unworthy even for an assassin, just like it is for a warrior. It was not as if she had any objections to it or guilt about it. But in this case, the Mandalorian gets what he wants, dying in a battle.

However, if she leaves here, her opponent may survive the fight, and the unfinished fight may be very humiliating to the other. So the question was pretty much that it was hard to decide. But Ingrid came from a place where if she leaves someone alive, it will return later, probably with a larger army. Not to mention that it is a weakness to keep her opponent alive. So then this question was decided, she glanced down at the helpless body.

She raised her hand and tried to cut off Alor's head to end the fight. *

* I got permission to kill Sidiqq, Ingrid would have no objection to that, but nah. I give the chance if Sidiqq wants his character to survive this, then he can do it. :)

Two shots rang out as Aerith felt sometimes impact her chest. The cyborg staggering back, a sharp pain filling her chest cavity as she did so. Her attention however, went to Shai, and was horrified at what she witnessed. She attempted to speak, but found she didn't have the air to do so, as instead of words, blood bubbled out from her lips. Her cybernetics, relented now, letting the gun fall from her hand as the threat was apparently neutralized, clattering to the floor as Aerith abondoned it. She managed two steps forward, before she dropped to her knees, hand clutching at the increasing pain in her chest. A violent cough broke through, as a glob of blood was spewed across the floor beneath her. Not good. Shai's weapon had blown a hole clear through her armor, more than likely puncturing her lung; which would explain the difficulty breathing that she was experiencing. But that pain was nothing compared to what she felt when she looked upon Shai. She felt sick to her stomach, like someone had pumped her body full of poison and it was slowly killing her. Several scrolls of text streamed by in her right eye, though she focused her energies on reaching Shai. She had only been a few feet away, and it now it seemed that she was parsecs away from her. Every inch felt like a mile, as she found it increasingly difficult to breathe, with every breath bringing a dreadul agony; like being shanked in the liver with a vibro-knife.

The message continued to burn across her vision, but Aerith ignored it. Going to all fours she attempted to crawl towards Shai, hearing the Mandalorian try in vain to signal for help, before going silent. Panic overtook Aerith's mind, as her efforts double. The sensation of a pinprick in her neck gave tbe cyborg a bit of a boost, making it a bit easier to ignore the pain she was feeling; not to mention the fact she was slowly suffocating. But that didn't matter now. She had promised Shai she would be there for her no matter what, and she wasn't going to go back on that. Even if it killed her.

Scrapping her body along the floor, Aerith reached her friend, her arm reaching for the medpack on her belt. Though she shook the entire time, she slide the needle into the opening around Shai's neck, and injected it. She had just managed to withdraw the needle, when a loud 'crash' sounded off to her left, and felt another impact strike her, knocking her onto her side, a searing pain now coursing through her shoulder. Hitting the floor hard, Aerith's vision began to fade, as she was now face to face with her friend. Reaching out, she wished with all she had that she could say something to Shai, tell her how sorry she was for this, but it wouldn't do any good now. As her blood began to pool beside her, Aerith took hold of Shai's hand, and squeezed it as she felt herself being pulled away. There so many regrets, so many things she had been unable to resolve. Then again, life had never truly been fair to her. Why change that now?

So long as Shai made it out of this, that was all that mattered. It was all she could hope would come from this ordeal.

Mid-swing, Siv's mouth widened into a grim smile as he saw his third blaster bolt find its purchase below the woman's ribcage. The woman seemed to be distracted by the damage, allowing for his Tarka'yayr whip to curl around the outstretched hand of the woman and deliver what should've been a fatal amount of electricity. Luckily for her, she seemed to have some sort of countermeasure installed in her suit, but the electricity did at least some damage, sending the woman to her knees.

He retracted the electrowhip into his gauntlet as he walked towards the downed woman, his blaster out and pointed directly at her. Defenseless and incapacitated as she was, Siv expected her to beg for mercy. To attempt to atone for the sins that she and her Empire had committed against his people. And in his moment of triumph and revenge, Siv would line a blaster bolt through her head, a death fitting for her type of scum.

What he did not expect was for her to shakily take a pair of scientific goggles from her coat pocket, put them on, and say, "Safety first."

With his blaster still pointed firmly at the woman, Siv looked up in suspicion, when he realized that the clangs that had been echoing throughout the hangar for the duration of their fight had suddenly ceased. Now, a mechanical behemoth stood in front of Siv and behind the woman, silent and menacing. Siv and the cyborg stared at each other for a moment, before a sudden orange light from a massive arm cannon began to illuminate the entire hangar. Siv's eyes narrowed, and he immediately turned tail and ran.

Behind him he heard the massive discharge as the mechanical monstrosity unleashed its beam cannon and Siv dove behind the wreckage of a downed TIE, ducking behind the cockpit as a searing orange laser cut a horizontal line across the hangar bay. The beam sliced through the TIE as if it were flimsiplast, barely missing the top of Siv's helmet as it arced across the hangar. Fully discharged, the beam cut off, and the top half of the TIE wreckage slid off towards the woman and her creation. Siv looked up to see that the cyborg's weapon was venting excess heat, waiting for the weapon to cool down before reuse.

He couldn't fight that thing. From the look of its armor, nothing in Siv's arsenal would even make a scratch. The only path would be to get out of the hangar and flee deeper into the base.

The only problem was, the cyborg stood right in front of the entrance hatch into the hangar bay, making that route not viable. Casting a glance around the large hangar, the only other option was. . . the command tower. A separate room sealed with some sort of glass from the rest of the hangar bay, it had its own pathway back into the rest of the facility.

It was a kriffing diabolical plan. But like his entrance into the hangar, it might work.

The beam was near-halfway charged up, Siv could tell from the growing whine from the cyborg, and he quickly pieced of a chunk of metal from the debris of the hangar and through it in the opposite direction. The cyborg swiveled at the sound of the bouncing metal, and Siv used the distraction to launch himself in the opposite direction, sidestepping other chunks of metal and wreckage as he made his way towards the command tower. He was now in a full dash, and the whining of the charging beam cannon had stopped and was suddenly replaced by the defeating report and glaring orange light of the beam being fired once more.

One step. Siv was on top of a sloping TIE solar panel.

Two steps. He launched his grappling hook towards the ceiling. He could feel the heat from the approaching beam cannon.

Three steps. He launched himself forwards, letting his inertia and the motorized grappel carry him towards the top of the command tower. The beam passed under him, narrowly missing his feet, before swerving clumsily upwards in an attempt to correct its aim. The cyborg was too slow, though, and instead the beam slammed into the plexiglass command tower, shattering the glass and creating a wide opening.

Just as Siv had intended.

He somersaulted into the command tower, to see a whole squad of Sith Troopers pointing their blasters uncertainty at him. Officers and troopers lay dead, their bodies carved through by the beam that had passed through the tower, and now a lone Mandalorian was standing in the wreckage. Siv smiled and flexed his hand, activating a hidden switch on his wrist. His Whistling Birds launcher powered up, and the guided mini-rockets shot out and into the squad of Sith Troopers. They collapsed, dead, and Siv stood up.

He gave one last glance to the woman and her monstrous creation before turning and devling deeper into the facility.

He had a mine to burn.

The vibrosword struck down, lightly cutting off the head of the trandoshan, which rolled away on the ground. Now there was no reason to stay here any longer, she secured the place, one of the Mandalorian leaders was dead. The shield had gone out much earlier, so it didn't make sense to stay here any longer. She quickly sent a message to the two men she had sent to a safe place to see if they were alive. The response was positive and they were able to come here on a route where they will not encounter an enemy.

Since this was the case, Ingrid issued the order to come. It took a couple of minutes for the two of them to arrive. Fortunately, the enemy did not break in here during this time. And the shuttle had camouflage equipment, so camouflage was activated here in the hangar after takeoff. As soon as this was done, the enemy then entered the hangar where they were. They can get out of here just in time.

As soon as the shuttle flew out of the Foundry she could already see the chaos that was out there. And it was bigger outside than it could be inside, and the enemy was just about to take the place. It really was time to leave. And with the shuttle, they were soon in the atmosphere and then left it as well. Since they were using camouflage systems probably no one sensed them. After long, seemingly endless minutes, the shuttle finally reached the point where they could enter the hyperspace.

As soon as the computer did the calculations, the small company entered hyperspace and was already on its way to the Eternal Empire fleet to join the siege of Myrkr…
