STRENGTHS
- Versatile: The Buurenaar Class Tank makes use of two separate weapon mounts, both able to operate independently, allowing for the tank to engage multiple targets at once, and provide the appropriate form of fire to its target. This includes artillery ammunition and anti armor munitions for the primary cannon, and anti-air and anti infantry rounds for the upper secondary weapon mount.
- Storm: Along with its wide array of weaponry, the Buurenaar has a considerable amount of speed, allowing it to advance quickly over open terrain and outpace vehicles of similar size.
- Roundabout: While the Buurenaar is fast in straight lines and even terrain, it has poor maneuverability due to the top heavy nature of its design, and cannot risk moving quickly over uneven terrain, or risk making too sharp of a turn.
- Armor: While it has a decent amount of armored protection, the Buurenaar relies primarily on speed and its offensive weaponry to protect it, as it cannot easily avoid incoming enemy fire.
- Jack of all Trades: The Buurenaar is designed to fit the role of multiple different vehicles to help fill the void the Union has in fighting vehicles. While it can be successful in all of its assigned roles, it does not excel in any of them, and is easily outpaced by dedicated vehicles of other factions.
The Buurenaar Class Tank is the first front line combat vehicle to be constructed by the Mandalorian Union for use in combat. The Buurenaar, or storm on Mando'a, is designed to lead the charge of any Union armored assault, with a wide array of weaponry and sensors allowing it to spot, target, and neutralize threats of various forms. It is able to serve as a mobile anti air and anti infantry platform, a light artillery unit, armored assault vehicle, as well as troop transport for a small unit of soldiers in a rear compartment, allowing them to breach through enemies lines and deploy the soldiers directly into the thick of fighting.
