Weaknesses:
  • Utterly useless against an environmental seal, a stiff breeze, or creatures protected from atmospheric hazards are unaffected by the attack of the gas grenade. Highly situational in application.
  • For those who have been accustomed to Taozin nodules and that fuzzy, blurry, clouded feeling, they could detect the grenades easier.

Description:

A gas grenade filled with Ixetal cilona powder. The gas grenade deploys an airborne pulverized hardened variety of the drug. When inhaled, the drug was capable of producing 1-10 minutes of euphoria , producing a twisted version of reality enhanced by bright colors. With each dose, the user's life was shortened, and the successive doses took away larger chunks from a lifespan.

If inhaled by a Force-Sensitive, the gas was capable of greatly weakening a person's connection to the Force for 5 hours.

A gas grenade bursts on contact after being thrown, taking effect in the same round in which it is hurled.

Additionally, the area of the blast is filled with gas, providing concealment to all creatures within the blast area whether or not a creature is affected by the initial blast; likewise, all targets outside the blast area have concealment from any creature within the blast area.

Originally a creation of [member="Skye Mertaal"], the bounty hunter sold the rights to this creation for an influx of cash, gear, and a nifty all access transponder code to all ATC areas. A favor or two was tossed in for later.

Research and development worked into making this particular grenade pressure sensitive once activated, making it to where a sudden change in acceleration or direction, much like that with a force push, would cause it to automatically explode. This is due to the fuse system, where a tiny accelerometer chip tracks the speed once thrown. This only activates once it has left a distance of at least three meters from point of origin.

To kick it up another notch, Arceneau Trade Company has a contract with the Beast Hunter's Guild as she now owes 29% of the company and supplies it's hunters with gear in return for exotic beasts and a percentage of each hunts monies, allowing a steady supply of Taozin nodules at her request. Using the same type of science as that for making Taozin Skin nodules, each one of these grenades had a nodule within it's contents so as to make the grenade not be detected easily by a Force-sensitive, as they would blur and clouded the force senses.

However, for those who had previous exposure to Taozin nodules and were able to recognize the fuzzy nature of it, would make it easier to detect, leaving the element of surprise out of it ---- at least until they try to force push it away.

Then BOOM!

Is there any difference from this to the original? Even if it is a re-branded tech, I would like there to be some variation to supply a reason for a re-submission as you could also request a submission modification to achieve the same effect of changing ownership.

  • Dropped production from Mass to Minor due to special qualities.
