Talon had earned his Beskar'gam through right of passage of his clan. This was made possible when he had killed his fighters, earning this he took to war. He wears it everywhere, once the helmet is removed in front of others, honor is taken away from him, therefore he uses it when challenging people to the death. The Beskar'gam has saved the Mandalorian's life many times. It shows what honor he has left and is his main suit.
