Public Opening of Everlight (ATTN: Anyone looking to party)

Everlight was located between two worlds. The poverty down below and the opulence up high. The sector was a mix of bad neighborhoods and high rise attracting young professionals and politicians with mistresses to keep.

This new nightclub aimed to service both.

See it as a waystation between both territories. A neutral zone where the poor could get a taste for more, while the rich were reminded just how close they were to oblivion. The latter were also charged a pretty substantial sum of money for entry. All for a good cause, of course. The nightclub's opening coincided with the Day of the Worker. A low-key celebration that highlighted the efforts of the Coruscanti Union Workers who rebuild the Core Worlds after the One Sith's eventual demise by the original Galactic Alliance.

The nightclub had it all- lounge rooms to drink in peace, dancing floors, a bar that was stocked with every popular drink in town and several unpopular ones to boot. The music pulsed low through the corridors and filled the entire place with an energetic beat. The people inside were presumably having a lot of fun. What with the booze flowing feverishly, the music growing more energized as the night went by and there being beautiful attendants of all species and genders to cater to the needs of the guests inside.

Horus was not having a lot of fun. Early on some genius decided it would make sense if the patron of the club would be outside, at the entrance, shaking the hands of the guests coming into the place. Thanking them for their support for the union workers, pointing out they have a free drink that comes with their entry card. Things of that nature. It was all a soul-gathering exercise. Very important as someone building up their own network.

It was also causing his arm to positively ache.

"Take over for me." He finally muttered to the bouncer and immediately headed back inside. Time to find one drink, maybe a handful, at the bar and start to enjoy the fruits of his labor himself.

What could go wrong?

You can of course show up without a tag as well! And please, as mentioned in the OOC, while little scuffles and some disturbances is okay keep it reasonable. No planets being glassed, locations exploded or crowds massacred. Let's all have some fun with this!

Nightclubs.

Butcher didn't mind nightclubs. Lots of bodies, lots of drink, lots of opportunities for sentients to do stupid things.

That was when the hitman started to enjoy himself. Nothing quite like breaking the knees of a dealer who thought they could make some credits on the side, under the nose of the proprietor of the establishment; or breaking up a brawl, by cracking the skulls of all involved, before tossing them out onto the street for whatever med service cared enough to pick them up.

"We've got more comin' in," Butcher muttered, as he looked toward one of the security for the club. "Move more security to the lounge area. I'm expectin' trouble in the next hour or so, once that booze gets flowin'."

The security member nodded, before she reached up and spoke into the comlink in her ear.

"I'm gonna walk the joint, keep eyes out."

Wearing his beskar skull mask, and dressed in his white business suit, Butcher wasn't hard to miss. He was tall, broad, and despite looking like some kind of businessman from the neck down, was covered in an assortment of equipment - all of it designed to stop trouble, often permanently. As it was, with the new club opening, there was potential for all sorts of scum to try and scope out the security flaws or weaknesses. They'd look to exploit them, establish under table deals, steal, try and kidnap, whatever else... but Butcher had street smarts, he was ready for it.

And when he found anyone doing that?

Well.

With a smirk under his metallic mask, Butcher clenched his gloves, anticipating.

Nonetheless, the enforcer's path took him past the bar, where he saw Horus Rhyne - the sentient in charge of the place - and paused, as he leveled a finger at the bar staff--

"Only S'vrine serves the boss tonight," He said, voice gravelly, as he made eye contact with each in turn. "If I see anyone else handin' over a drink, you'll answer to me. Then I'll have a talk with S'vrine, too."

--to which the enforcer rolled his neck, adjusted his suit jacket, and walked over to Horus. From that point on, if anything happened to the owner of the club, all fingers would point toward toward the Twi'lek behind the bar. And it was also in S'vrine's best interest to make sure no one messed with the boss' drinks, otherwise it would be her lekku on the line.

"How's the turn out, boss? What you expected?"

Oni was unfamiliar with the future. He was coming across all kinds of things that he had never seen before. A thing called and advertisement was the latest thing on his mind, a means of promoting a product as far as he could tell. This one instead promoted an event called a “nightclub.” A club at night? That sounded right, but Oni had no clue what a club referred to. When he looked up the word to find a definition, he found it to mean “a gathering of people for recreational activities in an academic context, usually relating to educational programs or organizations.” It sounded like a rather stand-up establishment, perhaps somewhere for Oni to expand his knowledge on the culture or technology of this new time period.

Imagine the young swordsman’s shock when he found himself in a place full filled with loud music, intoxicated people waving their arms around, and lights that gave the padawan a headache. Oni deduced that there may not be very much educational value to this “club” stuff after all, but whatever was going on seemed to be a cultural practice that bridged the gap between species. Perhaps there was some worth to being their, if only to try to learn more about the future.

Oni sat at a table in the back of the lounge, keeping to himself. He was beginning to doubt that there was anything to gain from being here, but he decided to wait it out for a few minutes. Maybe something about this place would change with time.

Inconvenient.

The Core was not a place that she frequented. Certainly, not Coruscant. She'd rather step foot on a million other worlds before settling on an ecumenopolis that seemed determined to crush the rest of the galaxy beneath its immeasurable weight. From the almost welcoming corrupt politicians to the dredges of what lay beyond the Red Corridor—This entertainment venue seemed almost normal. Almost. The atmosphere left her deeply unsettled. For all of her travels...Everlight was more of a culture shock than anything else. She could behead a man without blinking.

The notion of losing her faculties and willpower due to a drink? Ridiculous.

Srina had only ever entered a bar or a nightclub when compelled. Once, twice, perhaps. This was no different. While there were likely things that she might occupy her time with, truly, the most value the building had was the fact that it was a neutral space. Even ground. She could feel the dampening effects of something toying with the Force, forcibly closing that channel, and the Echani realized that the proprietor had pulled out all the stops. It couldn't be a completely violence-free space because people were...People...But it was as good as it was going to get.

Especially, here. Lovely, terrifying, festeringGalactic City.

Srina supposed that there was little to stop someone from obliterating Everlight from the exterior, but for now, she was satisfied. It would suffice for the evening, for her purposes, and she was in no hurry to spend the evening scrubbing a particular shade of crimson from her clothing. All she needed to do was wait. Make the exchange, spend a little time, and leave as quietly as she'd arrived.

After a substantial donation to Everlight, of course.

Her brow had risen slightly to have been greeted so personally at the door. It made a little more sense when considering the exorbitant "cover fee" for the evening's festivities. That being said...She was paying for the privilege of a smooth, simple, and uninterrupted transaction. Not for the cocktails.

The diminutive woman swept through the entryway without difficulty. There were no weapons on her form that would have caused security to halt her progress, nothing metal, but a sleek holo-comm. She was clad wholly in white, easily assuming that her clothing would be appropriate. A fitting dress with a sharp "V" neck and a short ruched skirt that she seemed to have been poured into. It fit as if it had been made for her. Likely, it had. If she wanted to "look the part" of high society she frequented the closet that Maliphant slowly filled for her.

He had a penchant for opulence.

Briefly, she frowned. Things were...Complicated. But, business was business.

The deal still required her focus to ensure that certain acquisitions didn't suffer—And this was the designated drop zone. A neutral, non-violent space.

So be it.

Twin streams of silvery-white hair fell from wrapped buns that were situated at the crown of her head. Thin braids held them in place and continued to run through the length of it. Easily, hitting her lower back. The bar was an easy waypoint. A light finger lifted and the bartender was polite enough to gravitate in her direction. "Water, please."

She was...Arguably awful at trying to remain inconspicuous. Who got water from a bar?

The Everlight!

It was quite the inviting name for a nightclub, carrying the implication of an endless party no matter the conditions, whether it was day or night, war or peace, or sunny or stormy. As pertaining to that thought, Estrella was reminded of an iconic quote from an interview which had gone viral on the HoloNet and in her mind, it fit the situation quite well. With the Maw lurking to the galactic north of Coruscant and the Imperials slavering for war to the galactic east, having a party in the midst of so much unrest might be considered insensitive. In truth, the gynoid would never blame anyone for feeling apprehensive about the affair, especially since she empathized with such a concern, but for the time being…

There was much pain in the galaxy, but none of it was here!

After spending the day picking out a dress and some shoes, Estrella arrived at the Everlight accompanied by a gaggle of girlfriends. She had traveled a good distance across the galaxy for the grand opening, so she hoped that it would be a special night, topped off with some nice souvenirs to hang in her quarters or the cockpit of her starfighter. Nevertheless, flying was one of the last things on the gynoid’s mind as she drank in the sights, sounds, and smells of the club.

Making a quick decision, Estrella decided that her first stop would be the lounge area. It seemed like the easiest way to meet new people, after all. The dancing, food, and maybe some drinking could come later, even though Nuetralizers couldn’t really get drunk. At the very least though, she could act like she was drunk and that might be fun!

And so, Estrella made a beeline for the lounge, her big, sea green photoreceptors catching sight of a lone Pantoran ( Shem Spinner Shem Spinner ) near the back who seemed somewhat uncomfortable with the affair. Without hesitation, the gynoid gave a facsimile of a sigh and decided to approach, before stopping in front of the young man, a smile on her lips.

“Are these seats taken?” She spoke up, the question carrying a playful undertone as it left her lips.

“Are these seats taken?”

Oni found himself approached by... a girl of some kind. He wasn't exactly sure what she was. She had a biology that he noticed people in this time period referred to as "humanoid," though he didn't know exactly when the term caught on. The stranger asked if he was reserving the seats at his table. As far as he was aware, Oni wasn't waiting for anyone.

"They aren't," Oni replied.

Was this how the people of the future met each other? Sitting down with complete strangers? Perhaps it was to form a bond of friendship over a drink. The Je'daii were known to share glasses on occasion. Maybe this club-thing was a celebration rather than a gathering for development. Both had merit, but Oni had not expected the people of the future to blur the lines between the two. There was still a lot he had to learn. Maybe, if he talked with this strange girl, he could start to understand this establishment better.

"I'm Oni," he introduced.

Polite and straight to the point. Oni wasn't much for long, drawn out sentences.

"E chu ta!" Flint cursed in huttese, "Coo ya maya stupa."

When the devaronian pirate demanded an audience, he'd been ignored. Now here this man was shaking hands in public. Brutal fantasies of the entire night club aflame flashed across his mind. Flint struggled to keep his rage in check. Swoop bike leathers clashed with more formal attire, but it was the alien's imposing height that marked him out for interdiction.

"You're not on the list."

His savage smile alarmed the bouncer.

Electricity still sizzled across spiked knuckle dusters when Flint stepped inside the club. Pounding music quickly drowned out the commotion behind him. He towered over most sentients and shoved his way into the Everlight proprietor's wake.

"Chuba!" he shouted after the human, "Bargon wan che copa! You understand? Business!"

It was Grendel's first time on Coruscant and with every new planet he visited his first port of call was always getting a strong drink, it was sort of a good luck tradition he'd picked up over the years. Wondering around for a little bit to find somewhere decent Grendel heard music drifting out from the club called Everlight. Approaching the door way the door staff looked as if they wanted to say something but thought better of it. Grendel for his part just ignored the door staff and squeezed his massive armoured bulk through the doors and made his way straight towards the bar, the crowd parting on its own to let the massive Mandalorian past.

Horus saw Reave Reave coming and his eyes immediately flitted to the knuckleduster still sizzling with electricity.

It took effort not to visibly cringe. This was the sort of man his father consorted with? He had never liked the man, but even he assumed some better standard would have been applied.

"It certainly is beating my expectations now, mister Butcher." Horus calmly said while accepting the drink from S'vrine with a thankful nod. He'd have to remind himself to give them all a raise. It couldn't be easy to follow the directions of a sentient with a terrifying skull mask. Much less one that if rumor had right, was for all intents either immortal or invulnerable. "Please have one of your men check up on Steve outside? I believe he might have a pounding headache for the next few days."

Just in time for Flint to force himself in front of him and speaking... ah... great. That dialect. Oh, Horus knew Huttese a bit. Enough to say hi. But it was frankly an exhausting language to keep up with.

"Mister Flint, how happy to see you could make it." As Horus rose up and offered a handshake. "Business? This is a celebration, can't this wait until tomorrow? I am sure there is plenty here that can keep you occupied. Drinks, music, girls." Without waiting to see if Flint was up for this, he already turned his attention to S'vrine beyond the counter. "Make sure Flint here has his own private room set-up, a bottle service, anything he requires to be comfortable."

Something told him the ornery pirate lord wouldn't take no for an answer.

But a gentleman had to try.

The nightclub was certainly quite a lively environment! Among the many, many things Estrella saw, one of the most distinct was the sight of a big, blustering Devaronian trying to make himself understood in Huttese. It was a shame that most organics didn’t have language databases, as things might have gone much easier for him had that been the case. Fortunately, the owner of the club attended to him personally, at which point the two men began a conversation which Estrella couldn’t make out over the loud, pounding music. From there, the gynoid took note of a massive, hulking Dowutin making a beeline towards the bar, the crowd parting in front of him like a sea before a certain mythical prophet. With her gaze drawn to the bar in question, Estrella spotted a feminine, white-haired figure clad in an equally luminous outfit. An Echani, potentially. A shifting of the woman’s neck was just enough for the Nuetralizer to make out and analyze her features via her databases, at which point the gynoid’s already-huge eyes went even bigger.

It couldn’t be. Was that Srina Talon?!

Her databases weren’t lying to her, were they? Regardless, Estrella decided that later on, she might approach the ex-Confederate Exarch and ask for a selfie. At the very least, it would be a cool souvenir to take back home! It wasn’t every day that one just stumbled upon a galaxy-famous celebrity.

Nevertheless, for the time being, Estrella shifted her attention back to the Pantoran. Of the things he might have noticed about the “girl” (a fitting, albeit reductive term), perhaps the most distinct was the fact that her presence in the Force was empty. In turn, as the “girl” analyzed the Pantoran’s micro-expressions, she noticed that he seemed uncomfortable, though not in a foreboding way, but rather in the manner of a tourist or someone from a faraway planet. Naturally, her thoughts didn’t even mildly veer towards the fact that he was an ancient Je’daii who had been shunted some 30,000 years into the future by a hyperdrive accident.

That would be absurd and utterly unbelievable!

"I'm Oni," he introduced.

“That’s not a common name, but it’s very cute one! I love it!” Estrella replied, a playful smile on her lips. “I’m Estrella, by the way.” She added, neglecting to mention her surname. It could get her in trouble on a planet like Coruscant. “Are you here on vacation, Oni?” The gynoid continued as she took a seat next to the Pantoran. “I came here from the Unknown Regions with some girlfriends of mine, for Everlight’s grand opening. It was a long journey, but we’re here now and I’m hoping to make the most of it!” She finished.

Music of life

Fate of each mortal can be defined by only one line, from the point of beginning (birth of organism) to the point of finishing the way (death of organism), and between these two lines will be that very moment, which we all call life, but each of us has his own way of living and understanding the nature of life. Boredom, as it is called 'the disease of doing nothing', visits our souls as often as a passionate yearning for freedom, for self-expression and fierce resistance to the forces of universal erosion, i.e. the element of entropy. Among the many forms of self-expression there is a boisterous mixture of boredom and mirth, drunkenness and music, the movements of the light female body and the harmonious melody of the crowd, what is commonly called the nightclub - a place where every passer-by, every bright and pale soul, every general and officer, every fighter and traveller, every dreamer and poet, every existing race and every form of activity, will find a place and at least for a while forget the vicissitudes of fate. For Neryn it was just such a moment, gathering all her belongings and thoughts into a fist, the young girl finally left her walks on the outer edges of the galaxy and opening the wings flew in the thick of nightlife, in the newly opened club "Everlight"! The girl's thoughts were filled to the maximum with all sorts of experiences and expectations from visiting such a stylish and fashionable institution as Everlight! Once at the entrance, Neryn for the sake of emphasis on aristocratic origins , has made a small curtsey, and like a bird * easily flew into the lively garden , and the first thing she did was to take a light measure of everyone in the club and took a deep breath as burden of formality left her chest, on the face Neryn appeared a smile and now more than confidently, she tried to adjust her own very strange and ancient force, which easily distinguished her from most ordinary visitors, which annoyed her a little. After this action, the young woman noticed her first *target, if she could be called that, and glistening with her snow-white hair and rather slender figure , Neryn found herself beside the pleasant wpman and seeing her ordering water, she remarked quietly. "Do you mind if I take the seat next to you? There's a mostly male population in this gigantic city-planet, and I'm not really comfortable with that. You're here for an hour or two at the most, I take it?" Inquired Neryn, asking for a mix of orange juice and a gas drink from the bartender.

This place was indeed some manifestation of the music of life, which Neryn had read a lot about and even now, despite the around, the girl's fiery eyes remembered perfectly and tried to see, studying the 'signatures' given off by the soul of any living creature around just how happy or sad each one of them was. While she waited for an answer, some feeling of strange sadness came over the girl , but immediately she tried to forget the childhood song she knew the meaning off to well....

Thud...Thud...Thuudd..

The heavy footsteps of Karkosuchus could be heard walking through the streets of the Coruscant underworld as many people moved out of his way. The Anointed Bounty Hunter had recently finished a job for the Pyke Syndicate and the Spice Cartel involving the kidnapping of one of their distribution teams sent to Level 1313 of the Underworld. The Compound was heavily fortified and protected by some of the best enforcers that money could purchase. Although he had managed to accomplish the job without difficulty and was paid quite generously. His sharp teeth was stained with the blood of the enforcers that he had consumed. Karkosuchus cared little for the opinion of others about his appearance.

Of course seeing a heavy armored and armed bounty hunter walking down the street provided little comfort for the poor communities within the underworld compared to the high and fancy apartments of the elite. He had heard from an informant that a new nightclub was opening between the two areas and he decided to spend some of his reward money on purchasing the heaviest drink that they had.

He made himself known upon entry due to his 11 feet tall size which made moving through the quite easy and difficult. Easy in the sense that people would just move out of his way and difficult because almost banging his head constantly against the light fixtures. He had managed to arrive at the bar and promptly took a seat at the end of the counter to avoid interacting with anyone at this time. The bartender came over after seeing his 'friendly' smile which said 'Serve me or DIE'. "Several Large Boga Nogas, 12 Ales and Five Corellian Whiskies."
He said with confidence.

The bartender looked at him like he was an idiot before handing him the desired beverages in return for payment which the Anointed Bounty Hunter paid in full.

Speaking of trouble...

Just so happened another associate, Flint, entered the Everlight with purpose. Butcher nodded to the boss, as Horus suggested to send someone to check on Steve. That made sense, the Devaronian wasn't subtle when sentients got in his way, which Butcher could understand and respect... but still, the nightclub was a public establishment, meant to serve a multitude of purposes.

"You got it, boss," Butcher said with a tsk from within the skull mask. He looked over toward the security nearby and motioned with a gloved hand toward the entry. One nodded and moved toward the front. Butcher added to Horus with a smirk. "Good luck."

Butcher had no intent to remain for the conversation, he didn't care enough, it was a meeting between sentients higher on the food chain than he. So, instead, the enforcer began to walk through the crowd. His dark eyes scanned from within his mask, as he caught a number of interesting - and potentially threatening - individuals.

"Hm. Pretty. But somethin' else, too..."

The masked near-human muttered, as he looked toward a white-haired humanoid at the bar, who ordered water. Something about her seemed to lure him in, but Butcher's instincts and experience made him feel that was intentional - a flower with thorns? He might very well have approached, to spark up some conversation, but another white-haired female humanoid approached beforehand, which took up the conversational space.

Butcher would circle back to the flower with thorns.

Besides, the arrival of two literal monsters in sentient form, caused the enforcer to tilt his head back and regard each in turn. The first was a massive alien, with chin horns, and while the species wasn't known to Butcher, he could definitely recognize a Beskar'gam when he saw one; that meant a Mandalorian, or at least someone who could peel the armor off a dead one, and that meant a big risk for security if intoxication or conflict got out of hand. And then were was the second, a reptilian with a massive maw of sharp teeth, also armed to those teeth, and didn't shy away from ordering a literal armful of booze for itself...

Both looked like a potentially fun time, if things got crazy.

Yet, Butcher was also present to avoid that, so.

"Well, ain't you a big boy," Butcher said as he approached the reptile with all the drinks first, since that sentient was closer. "Whole lotta drinks. And weapons. And teeth... I'm not expectin' trouble, right?"

In fact, now that he was closer, Butcher reached out and pointed a finger.

"Say... you're that bounty hunter, yeah? Kark... Karkasoid?" Butcher couldn't quite recall, but he put his hands on hips and smirked. "Heard about some of your work, good stuff. What brings you to Coruscant?"

Karkosuchus picked up his first bottle of boga noga and promptly began drinking it as the cool liquid flowed down into his ravenous maw. His snout picked up the distinct smell of someone new as a voice belonging to Butcher made himself known to the Bounty Hunter. He was dressed in a white suit with a black skeleton mask. He would be intimidated by such a sight if not for being a considerably large lizard. A simple swing of his body moved his bar seat towards the man so they could engage in light conversation. He had heard rumors that Lorda Gorba of the Hutt Space Consortium would arrive very soon at their location. But he wasn't going to announce this to the other patrons within the establishment at this time.

"If trouble comes my way; than I respond in turn."

Karkosuchus said in an off handed gesture after the man asked an open ended question. He was annoyed somewhat by the man's attempt at his name 'Karaksoid' was the most stupid name that could ever be invented and he certainly wasn't going to call himself that. Otherwise he would have no respect within the underworld.

"Karkosuchus you mean, you wouldn't believe. The Spice Cartel had me running ragged finding a kidnapped drug distribution team on their claimed 'level' of the underworld. First I had to walk there because they jammed repulsorlifts down there for some reason or other. Then I had to actually find the building because my clients never provided a description. You know how difficult it is asking for directions when you are a lizard that can tear off the arms of a wookiee and then put them back on."

He said with some grandiose but annoyed tone to display the supposed greatness of his mission.

"I finally managed to collect the reward money for the mission and came here to celebrate. Beyond that how are you doing? Got any criminal ventures you are working on or more of a side arm muscle for a gang."

Karkosuchus asked; picking up another bottle of boga noga to drink from in the meantime.

Oni didn’t completely process a single word the girl had said, aside from her name at least. Estrella said a lot of things that made little sense to the Pantoran warrior. She came from the Unknowns Regions, wherever that was, specifically for the opening on the Everlight. Did people commonly travel great distances for such a thing? She had also mentioned coming with “girlfriends.” Originally, Oni assumed this word to mean a friend who is also a girl, but it turned out to have a more intimate meaning in this time. Yet it made no sense in this context, unless this individual was polyamorous, which seemed unlikely given the way she spoke about these girlfriends. Estrella had also said strange things in regards to him. She had called his name “cute,” which was odd given that it was a name, and she had asked if he was on vacation, which Oni reasoned was asking if he was from far away. Technically, he lived on Coruscant now, so he wasn’t anymore.

“I’m a local,” Oni answered, trying to speak in a manner he had heard others talk in. “But only as of recently. I’m still adjusting to the new environment. The culture here is very different from where I was born.”

He stopped himself from going on any further. The last thing Oni wanted to do was reveal too much about himself. He began to scan the building, looking to see if any notable individuals had come in. There was a strange man in a skull mask ( Butcher ) and a large reptilian man ( Karkosuchus ) who seemed like possible threats, but nothing immediate. Perhaps this “nightclub” thing also acted as a neutral ground. His attention shifted back to Estrella. The mention of the Unknown Regions had caught his interest.

“You’re from the Unknown Regions?” Oni asked. “I don’t know much about them. What’s it like?”

Somewhere between the time being arrested, and taken into the Jedi’s care, Kara had sworn off drinking. It wasn’t a conscious decision mind you, but at some point the blonde had realised she hadn’t taken so much as a sip since that all went down.

But after Ilum? Screw that mindset, she needed to get a drink, probably a few.

So hearing a new nightclub called Everlight was set to open, Kara jumped at the chance to attend. Helped that it was located on Coruscant, meaning she didn’t need to go too far to reach it. And fortunately, it wasn’t as deep down in the lower levels than she was expecting.

Albeit, that also meant a higher likelihood of her fellow Padawans making an appearance. Which in itself was probably something Kara should take responsibility for. She didn’t know if Valery or any of the other Masters would show up at a place like this.

That and well…last time the ‘responsible party’ bailed via rooftop jump. But any potential teenager-shaped headaches were for later, right now she needed a drink.

After getting through security with no issue, Kara made a beeline for the bar and took a seat.

Gimme something Corellian.

Ever since he was forced to take medical leave, Aiden had been going from one bar or nightclub to another. The memories of his squadmates all dying in a brutal ambush were still fresh on his mind, and drinks were often the only thing capable of making him numb to that pain. That was, at least, until more recently — he had met an old friend by chance in the streets of Coruscant, and she had helped him believe in a better path forward.

But that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy himself a little.

So after news of a new nightclub opening reached him, Aiden made his appearance and looked around. Much of it was similar to what he was used to — there was a big dance floor, a bar in the back and people packed together everywhere. He didn't particularly feel like dancing or going too crazy, so he made his way over to the bar, where he arrived right as a blonde woman placed an order.

"I recommend the Corellian whiskey," Aiden said, his deep voice resonating over the sound of music, "Put it on my tab, just in case she hates it, and add a beer to it," he told the bartender with a polite smile as he leaned forward onto the bar counter. His eyes then shifted back to Kara, looking her over briefly.

"It's pretty strong, but that makes it fitting," he added, having taken note that she didn't really seem like just an ordinary civilian. She radiated strength the way only soldiers or Jedi did.

Estrella registered more confused micro-expressions flickering across Oni’s light blue features, but the Pantoran’s explanation for his apparent discomfort was acceptable to her. Nevertheless, it did trigger a question in the gynoid’s mind, which she decided that she would vocalize. However, first she owed him an answer to his question!

“You’re from the Unknown Regions?” Oni asked. “I don’t know much about them. What’s it like?”

“Well, they call it the Unknown Regions, but that’s not really the case anymore.” Estrella began. “The region given that name because back then, the Unknown Regions were actually unknown. However, that was hundreds or thousands of years ago. We know them pretty well now, not completely, but there’s a big empire in that area and few other superpowers have ruled over it in the past.” She continued. “There are plenty of planets there which are similar to Coruscant, like Terraris, Dasid Anya, and Conglomerate Prime.” The gynoid explained. A part of her began to wonder if the Pantoran had missed a stellar cartography class or two!

Unfortunately, Estrella couldn’t send data packets to the Pantoran which immediately explained what she meant, like she could when speaking with another Nuetralizer or droid. He would have to look up those worlds on his own, at a later time.

“It’s not too different from the Core or any other region, really. It depends on the planet you visit and what part of that planet you’re on.” She finished.

“I’m a local,” Oni answered, trying to speak in a manner he had heard others talk in. “But only as of recently. I’m still adjusting to the new environment. The culture here is very different from where I was born.”

“Where were you born, if you don’t mind me asking?” Estrella said, her voice carrying a higher pitch in question.

What was the name of this place again, Everlight? She walked along the street with a goon beside her as her escort for the night. A muscular, purple skinned Twi'lek man "You don't talk much do you Arn?" she asked him as the finally made it to the door, there was a little queue as a couple of people made their way in. A large crocodilian creature walked in a few people in front of her then there was a couple more groups between them. "No miss Solus, I don't get paid for my wit". She rolled her eyes "Mai, please, or Mairéad if you want to keep things more formal. But no, you're right, the less we chat the more we here. I have heard rumours about this place, and that it so close to Reveries I'd like to know who is about." It wasn't super close, being a few dozen or so miles from Revs, but it was another potential gang bar and she was curious. Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud encouraged initiative too, so it was hard to find a reason not to check it out.

"You on the list?" The doorman abruptly asked. Mairéad smiled as reached her hand to the board as if pointing put where her name would be and a credit slip discretely tumbled from her hand into his waiting palm. He grinned, "There you are, enjoy your night." he flicked her head to gesture for the two of them to enter and they did.

"OK, I'm going to go and get a drink, you have a little mingle and try to look like your enjoying yourself, this isn't an official op, just curiosity yeah." she smirked and they parted ways. The beautiful young woman in red wandered over to the bar and ordered a whiskey, scoping out the top shelf to see if she could spot any of Marcella Fiora Marcella Fiora produce on display. She had a large whiskey with two cue balls of ice that placed on the counter as she pulled an Ivory out of her glove and motioned to light it. A young zabrak man across the room caught her eye as she lit the end of her cigarra and inhaled. She initially mistook his eyes as romantic, before he made an almost invisible gesture with his hand <<lovely evening>> she made a similar gesture back <<and you, don't stare, covert>> and she turned away knowing there was another ally nearby if needed.

She sighed and leaned her hip against the bar, wondering who to approach to socialise with.

Grendel having made it to the bar spotted a large crocodile like creature sitting at one end, it wasnt often Grendel saw a person nearly as large as him. Grendel took a seat at the other end of the bar and was pleasantly surprised that the seat could handle his bulk.

The bartender seeing a new face but obviously not happy about servicing another dangerous person asked what Grendel wanted, Grendel just asked for a bottle of whiskey and settled in for hopefully an interesting night.
