SPECIAL FEATURES

• Heavy beast: lacking the mobility and manuevrability of speeders, this massive design lacks the agility to be effectively used in tight and winding places such as a sprawling, cluttered urban area.

DESCRIPTION
The NZ HT-97A also called the "Ronhar" is considered the first fully new design in the market for MBT's since the NZ MGV-1 Caesar which it is intended to replace. It's chassis and overall loadout were also designed to replace several other vehicles in both the open and the covert line up. With Initial testing having started on Eriadu in 903 ABY, the production and further testing moved to Mygheeto after the disastrous efforts of the N&Z to appease the Sith Order, delaying the overall production and market release of the design with several years.

These years were not wasted though, as part of the production had moved to Mahporeem for it's greater testing facilities and the advantage of having a Director to personally oversee the program. Live testing of the various configurations were conducted in 904 ABY, with the preferred load out being that utilizing NZ IEPC.4700 Ionized Electromagnetic Plasma cannon 'Damocles' famous for being the little brother to the earth-shattering NZ IEPC.8000 Ionized Electromagnetic Plasma Cannon 'Apollyon' yet no less effective in actual combat. With the NZ ER-1 Electrothermal Railgun following suit as second-most favored main weapon, allowing for high power, long distance assaults on reinforced locations.

Loaded with many electric goodies going from highly calibrated sensor systems, ECMs and a variety of assisting systems, the HT-97A can boast to be one of the most advanced and modern platforms on the market in regards to electronic and cyber counter meassures. Though it lacks speed and mobility, it does compensate for this downside with being a juggernaut in the field, a nigh unstoppable sledgehammer to tear down any enemy's defenses with no regards for collateral damage.
