STRENGTHS

• Fully Automated: As expected from an N&Z ship, it comes decked out with its own AI in order to remove the majority of menial tasks from the hands of the pilots , and usually can also take over the firing duties as well. Coupled with the ship's sensory array and connection to the datalink and hololink networks, the ship has automated distress call feautures which activate when the AI is forcefully rebooted or shut down without the proper procedure, thus indicating something being amiss.
• Well balanced: The Khopek-Class SSF/Eradicator prides itself on combining the plus sides of its forebearers and adding on to them, with proper armaments, adequate defense and very good maneuvrability and speed, this starfighter's a very usable and balanced example of what a starfighter should be.
• Compact: The Khopek-Class SSF/eradicator is a short, light starship, allowing it to be stowed away efficiently in hangar bays, easily transported in greater numbers with enough room for mechanics to do their job without ever feeling cramped.
• Multirole Fighter: Capable of operating both in atmospheric and outer space conditions, the Khopek SSF can be used both as a mainstay in the Diarchy navy, but also as part of planetary defense armies.
• Demagnetizing lining: The infinium lining can be demagnetized in emergency situations, allowing for the pilot to eject from the starfighter efficiently.

WEAKNESSES

• Fully automated: As with the majority of N&Z ships, this ship has the automation both as a boon and a bane, for when the system works, it is an absolute godsent, but when it fails and the crew is shorthanded to handle the menial, but crucial tasks on the ship it could become a problem, especially when there is no experienced engineer or mechanic on board to keep an eye on the engines and reactor without the AI system keeping it all in check.
• Outboard sensors: the sensory array this ship has access to has severall of its probes and antennas outboard, meaning that these can be disabled if specifically targeted.
• No rookie pilots: Because of its unique cockpit and systems' set up, flying this beast is not for the rookies amongst pilots. Even with the AI handling most of the tasks, a steady hand and good experience are quite mandatory, especially when engaging either of the SLAB or AIMS systems installed.

DESCRIPTION
The Khopek-Class SSF/Eradicator, unlike the standard Khopek-Class doesn't have the SSF stand for standard starfighter, but Superior Starfighter, as it was originally meant and designed as a slightly larger, but more capable design that was supposed to become the standard Khopek. Unfortunately it was unfeasible costwise to be build in large numbers, especially when it came to the cost and integration of the many systems it had within its compact and lithe shell. However, the N&Z did not abandon the design, certainly not when several of these starfighters had already been built in full size and with all systems installed. Sadly almost none of the company's testpilots apart from a handful of Valkan guards and the Secretary general were capable of fully utilizing the Eradicator's capacities to the limit.

Locked away in a storage vault on Bescane, the Eradicator languished for several months, until it became apparent that the Diarchy, flush with credits due to their growing influence within the galaxy and their ever-expanding territory granted its ruling Diarchs the opportunity to shop for more specified vessels which could compliment their personal abilities. As such, Tertius, in his capacity of N&Z Chairman ordered the vaul on Bescane to be emptied, the prototypes to be inspected and updated to the current standards and improved with the best materials possible.

Redubbed as the Khopek-Class SSF/Eradicator, the eight prototypes were refurbished, updated and upgraded to the highest possible specification and designated into two quartets to be distributed equally among the two diarchs and their personal guards.
