WEAKNESSES:
- Bold: Her crafty piloting skills could tip over to be a wild card in battle, not always doing things by the book. That in turn kept her from rising to the rank of lieutenant while serving in the Republic Navy. A strict commander might have both one and two things to say to her after a mission.

- Blunt: A direct speaker, which does no harm when words are meant for good, but less so when they are not and the reciever is that higher ranking officer that just witnessed that unconventional flying of hers.

- Scare of heights: Although being a pilot, she has a massive scare of heights while on the ground and do her best to avoid those situations.

- Credulous: That golden heart of hers makes her thinks good of most people, not that she is to be called naive but maybe too good sometimes.

APPEARANCE: Kathryn is a human woman of 34 galactic standard years. She has a small bit of zeltron in her. She has not inherited their physical traits like purple skin and hair, but her emotional attributes is believed to partialy derive from that fact. She stands almost 5.9 feet tall with a fit figure. Her shoulder-lenght ash blonde hair is usually kept in a braid or a low ponytail, with some loose strands to frame her face and her generous and kind blue eyes.

Her wardrobe consist of a variety of attires, most of it reflecting her practical personality and work. From short stylish leather jackets to a few dresses she, as a pilot and explorer that most often is off-world, rarely gets the opportunity to wear. While flying she prefers a black military flight suit, often with a black utility vest atop which is filled with a variety of bits and pieces. For ground missions she wears planetary proper camoflaged battle dress uniforms, from desert to woodland patterns and matching utility vest. Her LBP-3 light blaster sitting in a leg holster on her right side. Occasionaly head protection in form of a plastoid helmet with different covers, matching her BDUs.

BIOGRAPHY: Kathryn, Kathy or even Kath to some people, was born and grew up on the highly developed ecumenopolis world of Denon, in the inner rim of the galaxy. She grew up with her parents and two brothers. Having her upbringing on such a planet cemented an early touch with and interest in technology, which in turn led her to a space programme in her later school years. The years at the space programme sparked a curiousness within her, to expand her views of the galaxy. When love came around with a guy chasing a military career, it was an easy decision for her to follow him.

After graduation from the space programme they both applied for a flight academy at Carida in the nearby Colonies, not far from Denon. Turning the page, a new chapter begun for the both young cadets. Reading books in libraries were exchanged to combat excersises, military dicipline and simulator training among other things.

She realy did thrive at the academy, but the further they got the more tendencies of her self-confidence and creativity were noted and divided the instructor corps. Some saw it as, well encourageble creativity while others saw it as failure to keep in line, disobedience. Luckily, the head of the academy were of the earlier opinion, and she obtained her fighter certification for a variety of starfighters. Soon after graduation, they both signed up for service contract in the Republic Navy. With that came also a break up and parting as friends, as she entered the service as a pilot and he signed up for duty aboard a capital ship. She made a name for herself during service. She were a good pilot but, as in the academy, did often slid from the protocol which did not land well with certain commanders. That kept her from climbing in the ranks and begun to brood her.

After fullfilling her contract she decided to take a pause from the fighter cockpit, much due to the separation with her then partner and the issues with said commanders. Setting down on-world for some time when she returned to Denon, to catch up with her family who had not seen her in a good while. With the credits saved from her service, she could buy her own ship and for a while did not need to think about working full-time.

Kathy's curiousity did soon spark again though, and when a holo-net announcement for a freelance expeditionary fleet seeking crew members she were quick to apply and convinced the commander that she was the woman for the job. A new chapter took off as she got the job and the small fleet begun their journey to explore the still uncharted territories of the Unknown Regions and beyond the edges of the known galaxy.

Joining the Confederacy​

Later on, she crossed paths with Scherezade deWinter who looked for a private flight instructor. Kath took on that task which later turned out to be well enough of a challenge for the former Republic pilot. Not easily scared off by a challenge though, she did not give up on the young woman. Not even after a couple of pretty terrifying moments in the cockpit. In time and patience, they made clear progress and she has seen the potential behind that familiar restless aura of Scherezade.

At about the same time, Scherezade convinced her to join forces with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, in which she yet again has been given a cockpit and occasionally also is tagging along on ground missions.

Her first aerial mission under the CIS flag were set at Mechis III, a burning planet overrun by renegade giant droids. That was also how she got to meet one general Solaire, by responding to his distress call and providing his forces with crucial air support. Solaire, who also were a denonian, then requested a meeting at which he expressed his gratitude for her actions and wrote a letter of commendation to the CIS high command. A letter that laid the ground for her later promotion to major, an honor and achievement the former wildcard of the Republic thought were out of reach for her.

Re-joining the Galactic Alliance

After some time and work spent in the CIS, and after meeting with her brother as well as her former superior admiral Hayes of the Galactic Alliance, Kathryn was eventually re-recruited and honored a spot as CAG (Commander, Air Group) in the 1st Expeditionary Fleet - 3rd Carrier Line. Along with her officer colleague, superior and friend Liedran Kathause , they are ready to respond to any rising threats within GA space.

SHIP: Dynamic-class freighter ''Horizon Quest''
Horizon' is her sanctuary away from home, tastefully decorated with items and exotic artifacts from her journeys in the explorer fleet. With a small but well-filled galley, a lounge area with holo-net projector, dejarik table amongst other things and a basic medbay, it has all the accomodation it needs for longer trips. It can house four people including herself, larboards crew quarters been remade into a captains quarter with a single bed.

PRIMARY NAVAL SPACECRAFT: T-77 Talon Stealth Interceptor. Flight gear.

PERSONAL VEHICLE: Explorer Airspeeder
A sturdy two-seated airspeeder with a crash bars and the ability to carry enough provisions for days in the field. Fairly simple armament with one front-facing laser cannon, relying on a shoot-and-go tactic if attacked.

Since we're offering, if you're looking to work on the explorer side, with the option for playing up the military angle if you want then the SJO's Pathfinders are a division focused on the exploration of the galaxy, and they can work for the Navy, or act as scouts as you want. Plus we have a lot of Jedi who'd be willing to work with you if you ever wanted to explore the force sensitivity.
