BIOGRAPHY:
Katherin DuPorcelen was born and raised on Kalidan. She was the daughter of immigrant refugees where her parent's origin was left unknown to her throughout her childhood. While her family was poor, they believed in the principles of the Eternal Empire due to the suffering and anarchy they left behind on their homeworld. With that, Katherin took to following the imperial way of life to as much of the letter as she could. Her parents were too old to enlist at that point, but their dream was for their only child to join the ranks of the imperial military. Meanwhile, they were merely workers in the capital. Katherin grew up believing whole-heartedly in the imperial way of life, and being so grateful for the Eternal Empire being a home for her and her parents. It was at the very young age of 8 years old when her parents dream became her own as well.
By the end of her childhood, she joined the Eternal Navy. She found the more technical angle of war fascinating compared to the unbridled violence that the army had in store with its service. She was also young, and looking for adventure, and the Eternal Navy would certainly let her see the worlds the Eternal Empire would conquer from a much more favorable angle than if she joined the Eternal Army or Ultranaught Corps. At the age of 15, she enlisted in the Eternal Navy, and took to the regimented life it required well. She finished training at 16, and was assigned as an E1 Apprentice aboard the ships that lead to the first stages of planetary conquest. At age 23, she commissioned from E6 Petty Officer to eventually see the wars involving the New Imperial Order and the Sith Empire as am O3 Sub-Lieutenant. At age 28, she reached the rank of Captain. She was not present with the wars assisting the Ashlan Crusade, but rather was one of the members of the fleets protecting imperial space. It was during this time that Shadow Empire saboteurs, reeling from recent defeats, caused an explosion on her ship's bridge which lead to various shrapnel wounds.
She was knocked out in the explosion, but when Katherin woke up, she saw that her right arm had to be removed, and felt the sharp pain in her chest with every breath as the hissing sound of a respirator with healing vitamins assisted her breathing. That incident made her vulnerable, and appear weak. It was then the adventure and excitement ended. Military service was no longer a dream, but a mission of her existence. Insurgency was a threat she would not allow and she pledged herself to taking out the Shadow Empire once and for all. It was only a few years later when she got promoted to F1 Rear Admiral at the age of 38. Between her promotion and accident, she has been put to task in charge of one of the fleets tasked to deal with domestic threats to the Eternal Empire. Commonly the missions were counter insurgency at any smaller rebel strongholds still remaining, or pirates coming in from the frontiers of the empire's space. All were handled precisely with cold and calculated prejudice. It was not until a year into her time as an Admiral that the mob war of Black Sun occurred leaving the former safeguard in the underworld for the empire as nothing more than warring splinter groups fighting each other for dominance with much collateral damage in the organization's territories. With that burst of chaos, Katherin was called to send her new fleet over to Lotho Minor to manage the splinter group of Black Sun on the junkyard world. The proclaimed Baron of the world was off in the wastelands doing who knows what at the time and seemed to not care at all for the state his world had fallen into which made her job there much harder to pull off.
Irritated by the lack of order on the ground and hardly any effort to restore it, Katherin began her crusade against chaos from the skies above the planet. She cut off the suns from their supply lines off world, and sold what goods were legal within the empire to the core worlds of the Eternal Empire. Eventually, the gangsters began to pull back, yet chaos was still taking hold as the gangsters were taking whatever they could off the civilians in their retreat from imperial facilities. Katherin's siege had worked, and she began to send her reinforcements to the surface to assist the imperial garrison. Meanwhile, she began to record her thoughts on the Baron's performance to higher command in her report on the matter. As her forces slowly killed off the Black Sun remnants on Lotho Minor, Katherin began founding a company to get the civilians working for the empire again while also getting resources shipped over the planet. Setting up Porcelen Logistics was a nice hobby of her's as she is in the slog of restoring order on Lotho Minor. It also ended up having her to to the Baron's job of organizing the people's affairs for him. Part of her even thinks to petition for her to take the title of Baron of Lotho Minor after she restores order once more while that maniacal machine-man played in the wastelands.
