Darth Anathemous is a rogue Dark Lord of the Sith, formerly of the Eleventh Sith Empire, now a marauder of the Sith Covenant.
She was once an enigmatic apprentice to Darth Carnifex, coming into his service under mysterious circumstances in wake of Operation Hammerfall, before which no official record of her existence remains.
Unofficially, she was once Kaila Starfall, daughter of the Dathomiri witch, Genesis Starfall. On the run and fearing reprisal from the Dark Matron of their ancient bloodline, she left the infant Kaila on the doorstep of House Solus. These Mandalorians raised her as a foundling until the Sith Invasion. The Treaty of Vanquo saw Kaila removed from her home once again, inducted into the ranks of the Sith Imperial Legion.
The Dathomiri-vahla's latent dark side powers manifested a few years into her service, resulting in the death of her superior. Seeing potential, Darth Carnifex handpicked her to undergo a memory wipe procedure, and become his apprentice. Kaila was then lured into his service and indoctrinated into the Sith order from a young age.
Her training was characterized by brutality, worsened by the half-vahla's cartilage bones which was scarcely allowed to heal. Near death experiences were a constant until Saryn Zambrano financed a surgery to replace her entire skeleton with Laminanium. Though heavy, her body was quick to adapt to this armored core, resulting in a large, muscular physique.
For this, she was given the moniker "Irons" by her fellow apprentices.
POST-900 ABY
Kaila Irons vanished from recorded history until being recalled to the Eleventh Sith Empire to participate in the brutal Siege of Echnos against the invading Galactic Alliance. She was knighted in the field as a result of this battle by Srina Talon, Empress of the Sith, and made Governor of Echnos.
It is from this point forward that Kaila was self-christened "Darth Anathemous", a name she is said to have given herself while possessed by the dark side during battle, and formally recognized by the empress.
This marked the beginning of her ascent to power, which grew with alarming speed and ferocity.
By 902 ABY, Anathemous had discovered the truth of her origins and betrayed her master on live broadcast, then secured her position as a powerful warlord, participating in numerous campaigns such as Susevfi and Woostri, and controlling the Sith Order economy with an iron fist.
When the Emperor left to battle the Worm, leaving the Sith Order in disarray, Anathemous traveled beyond the Blackwall to enact the Great Hunt with the likes of Mercy and Arris Windrun, burning a bloody swath through the Jedi Worlds.
Now a rogue warlord, she pursues a weapon to destroy her ultimate foe: Fate.

- Hair:
- Kaila wears her hair loose at all times, tucked behind the right ear and swept over the opposite side. Her hair is a gold-blonde, which waves and curls as though a field of windswept grain which hangs to the small of her back. In battle she pulls it back, falling out her helm like a lion's mane or knightly plumes.
- Eyes:
- Her eyes are often the first feature one may notice. The once silver visage has long since corrupted, glowing a fierce gold in dim light. They lack the typical redness of most Sith, maintaining that wolf-like yellow set against dark limbal rings and thin eyeliner.
- Build:
- Kaila's form is a striking balance between Amazonian power and curated grace, adorned by either silken gowns or armored plating befitting a lady of war. Metal bones are responsible for most muscle growth, but years of Ataru training saw the young Sith develop powerful legs good for kicking, jumping and tireless footwork in battle.
- Markings:
- The young Darth's body is riddled with scars and ritual markings in juxtaposition with freckled skin. Her arms bear jagged scars where limbs were severed and replacements grafted by crude stitches and bacta, one of her master's many "gifts". Her hands were ritually branded with the Ava'kesh, a mystical marking which once signified her allegiance to the secretive Asha'kurat and shields her from the precognition, prophecy and even fate. The ritual has left her hands blackened by foul sorcery, a dark gradient which seems to spread as she delves further into the dark arts.
