Circumtore, an artificial ring world that served as the home of the Shell Hutts, and a hive of the criminal underworld. Recently though, one particular group has made the ring their home. The Kastolaar Sector Raiders. The Raiders have come to a deal with one of the local Shell Hutts, Valco the Huttess. Valco has allowed them to operate from Circumtore with the condition that they protect her less than legal enterprises. The Concord has caught wind of this, and has prepared a small attack on the ring, taking the chance to take out some of the more notorious criminal groups that operate from there in the process.

Get to the surface and find both Valco and the Raider leaders. Expect to encounter bounty hunters, illegal weapons like disruptors, heavy weapons and illegal goods.

The Kastolaar Sector Raiders have a small fleet in orbit. A carrier, some old CR-90s, and a frigate supported by a Hutt barge. Cut through and take them out.

Ura held tight to the controls as she the jump out point. Circumtore. She'd never even heard of the strange artificial world until now. Even so, Ura flipped some switches before looking at her systems. Everything was normal. She'd looked at the report before taking off. A frigate, some corvettes, a barge, a carrier, and presumably fighters. These weren't just the Raiders though. A Shell Hutt had offered her own forces! That would mean a tougher fight. The Hutts tended to keep a much more rugged set of fighters. Things like the Scyk, Kihraxz, Dunelizard, and others. At least it wasn't the Black Sun.

Either way, she'd revert to realspace soon, and when she did Ura quickly opened her s-foils and unlocked her gyro, along with catching her first glimpse of the ring world.

"By the ancestors...."

Broka's ship entered orbit. He heard that the Concord was expanding to this world. How could he call himself a Hutt if he lets these Jedi just take this world without him and his colleagues having anything to say about it. This is a Hutt world, and deserves to be added to the Hutt Republic's sphere of influence. As Supreme Mogul, he would see it as his duty to at least set up the framework to add this to the domain of the Hutt Republic. The next step would be to have the Hutt Assembly approve of its addition, which it would most likely do unanimously. The Shell Hutts would be worthy members of the new future for the Hutts, and Broka needed the assurance that this world be prepared to join it.

His ship stopped in orbit, and he saw how the Jedi planned on conquering this world through force to take out the "criminals" that lived here. These raiders Broka heard about would most likely not touch his ship. It has the markings of the Hutts, specifically the Nem'ro Clan, on it. They would be the one issue of taking this world. The Shell Hutts could be convinced through a talk like any other Hutt Clan. However, these raiders would attack all, and have been granted refuge. Broka could care less for their fate as they are inconsequential to what his plans for this world would be. The Shell Hutts and the Jedi were his concern. Therefore Broka sat in the throne room chamber aboard his ship and gave the order to one of his servants, "<Tell the communication workers to open frequencies here. Though we cannot take this world without the Hutt Assembly's approval, we can at least set up the process of reserving this world for the Hutt Republic. Make sure the Shell Hutts on the surface know that we are welcoming them to the future of our species as we Hutts return to power, and how we of the Hutt Republic want them to have a seat at the table for that future. Then let the Jedi know that the Hutt Republic has interest in this world, and would like it to be reserved for us.>"

The mouse-like servant bowed and said, "Yes, Supreme Mogul Broka."

"<Good.>"

Broka sat back and called servants to bring him dinner. A massive banquet for one. Broka licked his lips, and began gorging almost like a ravenous animal as he awaited a response from both the Shell Hutts and the Jedi about the intentions of the Hutt Republic.

The streets of the city were bustling, with people going about their everyday lives. It just seemed like another normal day on this ring-world filled with criminals and other questionable characters.

A man walked through the crowds, ignoring street vendors calling out to him either trying to sell him illegal goods or were trying to scam him. The man didn't look different than anybody else in the crowd. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and was dressed in everyday garb and clothes. The only thing about him that stood out was that he was pretty tall, and he was extremely muscular, and the Togruta slave girl walking next to him didn't draw any attention, either. There were plenty of slavers with their slaves around, so it didn't seem all too different. He just seemed like another lowlife going about his day...

But looks can be deceiving.

Red brushed his hair back, which had been dyed dark brown. His eye color had also been changed, thanks to some temporary physical augmentation. He didn't like having normal hair color and eye color. He felt too... normal. He had even given up his standard weapons, only having his rifle strapped over his shoulder and on his back and a blaster pistol in a holster, but he had also hidden a knife and his lightsaber within his clothes. He also held a quarterstaff in his hands.

He had been undercover for a week or so now, gaining information and reconnaissance. It was hard work, but it was pretty important work, so he would complete his objective, because that's what the Experiments did. Their mission was to locate Valco, and help to take her and the Raiders she works with.

He looked at his "slave". It was really his Padawan, Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri , who was also posing undercover with him. Since they were both Experiments, and trained in subterfuge, they were sent on this high stakes mission, since they were easily qualified for it. The quarterstaff he held was actually hers, but she couldn't have it, since she was posing as a slave. So Red held it for her.

In the course of their undercover expedition, they had located Valco. She usually stayed in the Terminal and Diplomatic Reception building, where security was the tightest, and was probably the safest place on the planet.

Red turned down another street, walking through the crowds of criminals, pirates, bounty hunters, smugglers, street vendors, slavers, and a large assortment of various other lowlifes.

Then, Red turned into a building, the door sliding open as Red hit the console. He lead his Padawan inside, then shut the door, the door sliding back down. Then, he pressed the console again, locking it from the inside.

Inside the building, was their base of operations. It wasn't much. In fact, anyone who looked inside the building would think that it was a standard living area. There was a small, long-range comms unit sitting on a table, next to a wide assortment of datapads containing information on their target. Another table sat nearby, covered in gear, weapons, and many other items. Red put his blaster rifle on the table, and leaned the quarterstaff against the wall.

He looked at his Padawan. "Try contacting the SJC, tell them we have located the target." Red told her. Then, he grabbed a datapad and sat in a chair nearby, scanning through the information they had collected.

The time to strike was coming soon... They would need to send all of the information they had collected over their time undercover, then assist in the operation of taking down Valco and the Raiders.

“The Liberation” soon dropped out of hyperspace and began hunting Raiders, only Captain Hargram’s(The CO of the carrier) orders were to secure one of the outer sectors. Much of “Voodoo” Wing would be doing the same, as Voodoo One was taking Voodoo’s two and three, along with their squadrons to engage much of the heavier fighters closer to the planet. They were in line and moving fast before quickly breaking off into their assigned flights(teams) and sections.

This left Liram to do what he did not really did not want to. Be the afterthought.

” Mustang. This is Voodoo One, assuming the call-sign ‘Silver-Leader.’ How copy?”

“Maverick, you’ve got the ball, call it.”

Rolling his eyes, Liram really hated answering the directive.

That sounds like a damn line out of some outdated holo-vid.”

” Roger, Maverick has the ball.”

Banking hard as he saw some fighters forming up, the IFFs saw them as the designations that he was looking for. Throttling forward as “Radio” indeed identified each fighter and their pilots including dossiers of personal history and service records, the devil pilot quickly eyeballed each. There was not much time to really delve into who he was going to be flying with, again, so a quick glance was going to have to do. Switching the comms over to the frequencies of each pilot and “conferencing” them, he barked.

” Tally Ho, boys, and girls. It’s open season on pirates and other malcontents with delusions of grandeur. Now check-in, form up, and stay alert. These pilots suck, but they have the firepower and can organize. On top of that, they no doubt recognize us from their arse kicking over Tol Amn.”

The landing on Circumtore was a distraction, they used the landings of several Jedi as a distraction to their approach. Of course, where they landed was not considered a safe spot. A garbage scow was not considered to be the most accommodating of rides, but it served its purpose and landed both safely and inconspicuously inside one of the larger casinos, well, abandoned casinos. The place was the home of the “KinTan Jesters” they were a wannabe off-shoot of the old “Kintan Kings”, the Nikto gang that prided themselves as Jedi Hunters. These guys though were clearly not the kings, they were indeed little more than Jesters.

Weapons check, we go in two.

Alien was not normally this vocal in his orders, but there were three new members of the team. The new heavy gunner, or “Paul” was Scion’s older brother Tomas Isaacs. There was another sniper, or “Michael”, he was [Laroyce Blomin. The dragman was a new idea for them, and frankly, one none of the originals wanted, but they would not hold it against the newbie ”Peter”, Zev Tantor. There was tension among them but that was honestly normal, the newbies were coming into a team that was together from day one, they had something to prove, and the oldies had to learn to trust. They were all professionals though and none were ones to play around.

We move.

Silently, each member, with silenced slugthrowers in hand made their way into what looked to be an old loading dock. There was no one in there and they were in. They could have gone three different ways, judging by the three different doors leading into the building. The team split up into the smaller teams, Gold, Blue, and Red, all holding position until ordered.

Alpha, go.

The order for all teams to move, Gold team made their way down the hall to what looked to be an old office space. A couple of thugs, supposedly on guard duty were lounging in chairs, they looked to be practically asleep. Alien holstered his weapon and pulled his knife, silently making his way behind the Nikto, quickly the team leader sliced the Nikto’s throat and then jammed the weapon into his chest. Aien’s free hand was covering the thug’s mouth. Muffled yells did catch the attention of the other as planned, a quick slug to the head from Peter killed the other. A nod from Aien and they moved to the hallway. The comm-links were working hard, but the quiet chatter gave updates.

Tangos down.

Tangos down.

In position.

Setting Charges.

Bartleby and Scion had the duty of not only keeping tabs on the Kestolar Raiders, Bart still having the program in his pack from Tol Amn that had real-time positions on them, but they also carried all of the explosives that were not grenades. The charges being set by the demo expert in the old bar were going to be their distraction and exit out.

Charlie, Go.

Blue team was given their authorization to move and move they did, the calls of “Tango down” were multiple and quick. This made things easier on Aien’s mind as he had never lost team members before, this was not a negative reflection on anyone, even him, it still just sucked though. Naturally, the man would be reticent to continue this type of work, but this was a calling, not a job. What was he going to do, run a bar? He would drink his profits and inventory faster than the Hutt Republic at a buffet.

In position.

Delta, Go.

Red Team was on their way, and as Aien and Zev, Gold Team, mopped up going through the front desk and lobby, the team all met down on the main casino floor. Slowly they made their way through the pit and out to side entrances. They were too heavily armed to go through the main travel ways unnoticed, so it was sticking to the alleys and backroads. There would be no stopping them as there were no allies that they would have to protect this time and while, again, there were no regrets that meant that they could do what they do best with impunity.

(censored) everything up.

There was a group of thugs mugging a couple of kids in one of the alleys they were about to pass through. While this would probably slow them down, the victims were kids and that was the trigger for both Azrael and Bartleby. When one of them knifed a little girl, that was it. All seven of them approached and either shot a thug in the head or jammed a knife in their chest. Peter could do nothing to save the poor little Twi'Lek girl and Bartleby, incensed by this twisted the knife in his victim as violently as he could, the Rodian was gurgling from his mouth and wanted to flee, but Bart would have no part of it. He forcefully held the thug where he was, forcing him to look at the girl, painfully struggling for her last breaths.

No, you bastard. This is the last thing you will ever see.

The Rodian was dead, and Sauriel, in a rare moment of empathy put a hand on the tech's shoulder. He just shrugged it away and put himself in position. They all returned to their mission.

Unlike other Jedi who had a prudent plan of going onto the artificial planet undercover. Caltin talked it over with Desbre, giving her as much input as she desired, and worked it out that they would do something a little different. They were going to “tank it”, being so staight-forward, so frakking obvious about their actions that they knew that they were going to draw loads of attention to them. This was not the approach that would be best for his Padawan’s frame of mind, but they would not use any aggressive tactics without exhausting all other options.

The move was a bold one, they were going to land on the ring, right in the main starport, not far from the airstrip. They were even going to announce their arrival and that they were going to give an ultimatum to Valco the Hutt to end her illegal acts. Yes, this seemed to be the most idiotic move that could be made, but think for a moment about the Jedi who were doing it.
Caltin may not have the reputation that he did in his time, but he was st… okay he was a monster of a Jedi.

Most (not all) Hutts are, for the most part, cowards. While many of them are solid planners and schemers, when the knowledge that Jedi are coming from them reaches their ears, they are not dumb. The purpose of this tactic was to play on that, to make the target of your actions so concerned by your presence, especially if you spread the word, that they will begin to make mistakes, ridiculous mistakes. If this was pulled off effectively, the Hutt will take so many actions to prevent Caltin and Desbre from getting to them that she will not even notice the others until it is too late.

The Kestolar Raiders made the mistake of shooting Jedi down over the planet Tol Amn, they made the mistake of taking over this planet and thinking that nothing would come of it, even with a Hutt’s approval. The third mistake would be to try to resist what was about to happen, to make the two Jedi who are about to step off of the transport draw their lightsabers. They would be wise not to make such a mistake as while they were not quick to move to “aggressive negotiations” they were good at them when they did.

The clock was ticking on the Raiders decide what to do and choose the right thing… actually… the big guy was “boots on the ground”... time’s up.

Welcome to Circumtore.

"Whew, that's a criminal hideout if I ever saw one."

"Can you please be silent for a moment? Some of us are actually trying to work here..." The petite Sephi woman snapped at the Arkanian. Of the six Antarian rangers accompanying the Jedi Master, Aril was by far the most professional and coincidentally also the least-tolerant. A stark contrast with Aldralith, the Arkanian, who's laid-back attitude alleviated the tension during their many missions.

"Oh? What'cha working on? Sinvala hasn't given the signal yet, has she?" Aril's frustrated glance was met by a cheeky smile from Mellion, the second Sephi on their team. If the six rangers had anything in common, it was probably their bond with the Jedi Master herself. Each of them had been recruited by the mute woman, and each of them gladly fought for the Concord alongside her.

"No... But if we're not in position we won't be able to bail her out." "Out of what? You saw her on Thustra, she can handle herself!" Another glance, another smile. "Just get ready to blast anything that moves, okay" Aril finally conceded with a sigh. "Guys... Get ready to move. She's approaching the building" Aldralith warned, his gaze locked on the single figure who leisurely strolled toward the building out in the open.

Sakadi knew what she was doing. She understood what could happen if Lomu, the brazen Shell Hutt who served as Valco's right hand decided to open fire. This facility was heavily guarded by Kastolar raiders and mercenaries alike. And with good reason. This building was home to a criminal enterprise partaking in one of the most heinous crimes possible. Child trafficking. Yeah, if it was up to her, they would be going down.

Once she felt the faint shimmering of life in the Force, Sakadi reached out. Judging from a quick probe of their minds, they were simple guards. Guards that would act as her messengers.

"I wish to speak with Lomu the Shell Hutt. You may tell him that we have his facility surrounded, and that any attempts to escape or resist will be met by force. Now go." She saw the silhouettes of the two guards make their way back inside. With that, the game was on.

Location: Border between Valco and Feku's domains on Circumtore

Feku and his army was lined on the border between his domain and Valco's domain. Valco was foolish for letting that outside bunch of raiders come to Circumtore. Especially after those raiders got the attention of the Silver Jedi Concord. Now, the Jedi have come to Circumtore to take the planet, and Valco gave them the proper excuse for that conquest. His rival needed to learn the lesson for their treachery to the Shell Hutt Clans on Circumtore. So, now he had a reason to go to war with the neighbors. He has been endlessly conquering territories of weaker gangs not run by the Hutts for years now. It was now the time to get the glory and recognition he deserved. The Jedi were here to witness his glorious conquest of the traiterous she-Hutt's domain. He will take that territory for himself, and apply for membership of the new Hutt Republic. The Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Republic would be watching too, though he probably was not looking to meet with Feku, the Lorda of Iron would see to it that the seemingly mighty Broka the Hutt would recognize him after the struggle for Circumtore was over.

The enemy was sighted over the ridge. Valco's forces to be exact. It was just a scouting party, but Feku could care less. It would be the first battle of his glorious conquest. Time was of the esscence. So, he shouted, "<CHAAARGE!!!>", in Huttese as his forces charged forward. The following battle would be an utter massacre for the enemy. The numbers on either side alone was enough to prove such. Where the scouting party was about 10 men, Feku had a legion of over 450,000. A proper army. It was not the entirety of his forces as the rest were on other fronts squeezing out the organizations not belonging to any other Shell Hutts or guarding the territory he has already secured. Nonetheless, Feku won the first "battle", and kept his forces marching deeper into enemy territory. There was not much they encountered so far. Just a few defenseless villages that held no potential threat whatsoever. It was then they encountered a massive encampment of Valco's troops. It was rudimentary fortifications, and would only slow the inevitable defeat of this one army Feku now faced by a slight bit. Upon seeing this, Feku had his men take proper positions at the foot the hill while in cover as to not start any alarms. Once he heard all his troops were in position, he ordered the mortar teams to rain hell upon the enemy. If he can get them to hide in holes and whatever shelters they made, it could allow him and his men to advance up the hill to finish them off.

Surprise-series Q-Carrier Alagriche Foodstuffs Seven, near Circumtore

Any number of ships, nimble racing yachts and laser cannon scored tramp freighters to massive, brooding bulk cruisers and luxurious passenger liners, plied the space lanes going to Circumtore. Among this zootopia of traffic, the Alagriche Foodstuffs Seven seemed almost utterly indistinguisable and faded in among the crowd of uninteresting bulk freighters. While it likely seemed like easy prey to any number of raiders, it probably also seemed like low-value cargo - unless the raiders were serious fans of the cereals which had made the Alagriche Foodstuffs company famous. Yet despite its name, the Seven wasn't registered to the famed agriculture company nor was its hold filled with grain. Instead, the unobstrusive exterior concealed a relatively modern warship packed with dozens of Eta Angel interceptors and Tau Devastator StarWings. Much like their mothership, these starfighters sported almost nondescript color schemes - no identifying insignia that marked them to a specific unit or group, and transponders that all showed them as private craft registered to dozens of neutral worlds as "yachts". Most of the personnel onboard believed they worked for a private security company looking to flush out and catch some pirates, yet only the ship's bridge crew knew that the parent company was actually the Directorate itself.

"Nothing yet sir," said Flec'tor, the ship's captain and a native of Agamar.

"Well, I suppose we can't simply expect the pirates to jump in at us. We may know more when we get closer."

Flec'tor nodded, bending his lanky frame over the comm's officer, "It seems like some Silver Jedi Concord vessels are racing ahead into something. And some Hutt warships are present as well."

The admiral nodded. It wasn't wholly unexpected. Even within the Concord, there were various political players who joustled for power within its assembly - the Hutt Republic and its scheming crime lords among them. Much further in the background, with only distant political links through its companies and an almost pervasive influence within the militaries of the Silver Jedi Concord worlds, the Directorate had only begun to test the waters of politics. The blonde man was skeptical of the Hutt Republic and its supposed "reformations" and he expected that the distrust was likely mutual given the Directorate's own propensity of internal secrecy.

"We'll bide our time," said Gir, "and be the ace in the hole if need be."

"This is Padawan Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri calling the SJC. We have located the target. Repeat, we have located the target. We'll be transmitting information soon. May the Force be with you."

The young Padawan's voice came over Team Paladin's secure com's loud and clear. The Stealth Transport "Ghoul" had entered the livable zone of the ring world, Circumtore barely a few minutes ago and the pilots informed Beltran that they were honing in on the location of the Padawan's com transmission. Looking over at his team, Beltran offered a nod to the familiar face of Jesson Doss.

The large human marksman had been a member of Beltran's ill-fated unit, Icarus platoon. He had been in the thick of it on Yurb, only a few yards away from Beltran when the Bryn'adul tyrant Tathra Khaeus had arrived on the field and had been wounded grievously soon after when both his lower legs had been amputated by one of the Bryn'adul's attacks. Recovery had been long and hard for Doss, Beltran knew. And it had been far from certain if the man would be able to return to active duty.

In the wake of the Bryn'adul victory on Nar Kreeta, much of Paladin Company was being reformed. That had been a hard fought battle which had seen the loss of nearly a third of Beltran's troopers. It was a dark time for the Rangers, and in truth for the SJC as a whole. The only ray of light for Beltran being the return of his friend to duty, fresh with a promotion to Sergeant. Once Paladin Company was once more at full strength, Beltran intended for the newly minted Sergeant to command his personal squad.

Moving on from the human, Beltran made eye contact with Lieutenant Mrawr, the Togorian who served as Beltran's second in command. Dwarfing even the large human with his size, Mrawr brought more to the table than ferocious combat abilities. On Nar Kreeta, he had demonstrated his quality as an officer and tactician-taking command of the remnants of Paladin Company and conducting a fighting retreat out of the city while Beltran attempted to destroy the Bryn'adul Servitor and saving the rest of Beltran's men.

The other five Rangers were the best of the surviving Paladins. All had some kind of background in special operations which made them uniquely qualified for a mission like this.

Responding to Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri Kuxirra Tano-Bonteri , Beltran spoke through his helmet's comlink. "Jedi Tano-Bonteri, this is Paladin Actual. We read you five by five. Our strike team is two minutes out. What is the situation on the ground? Do you have eyes on the Target? What kind of resistance can we expect?"

While Beltran spoke, his team did their final weapons checks. Each knew they job, so there was no point in calling out useless orders. He would also key them in on the com channel, so each of them could hear the Padawan's reply in real time.

Valco looked at the Raider commander she had just met with, practically growling under her shell as she spoke in an altered tone, speaking her native hutties.

"You told me they wouldn't follow you. Jedi ships have entered orbit."

"We'll take care of them," the Raider scoffed. "They won't get past our soldiers." It was hard to tell with the armor, but the huttess glared at him. She wanted to smash the Raider with her tail at that moment, but no. He was still useful to her.

"Very well, but when you're men fail, me and my own will remind you how the Hutts rose to power in the first place." Valco turned on her repulsors, sliding into another room as the commander grumbled. Stupid Hutt. If she wasn't covered in metal she wouldn't be so tough.

"Make sure you stop them. Any strike team you find, kill them. No prisoners."

All around the ring, the Raider's seemed to become more alert. They kept heads on a swivel. While they hadn't noticed anyone specific yet, it was clear that the fight above had put their enemies on edge, and they were ready to hunt now.

In space, the carrier quickly turned to move away from the Star Destroyer, while the frigate and CR90s, began to push closer. It seemed suicidal, but something had them prepared. Out of the carrier came five squadrons. An aged Y-Wing squadron, two Kihraxz squadrons, and two Scyk squadrons. The frigate and corvettes quickly targeted the Liberator, and the Y-Wings would try to pull close while the Scyks ran escort. The K-fighters would quickly pick up on Voodoo squadron and the Razor-Tail though, and would turn for their prey.

A transmission would soon come through, and the droids voice would answer.

"Oh! Yes, hello. It has been a long time since I've seen my masters unshelled cousins. Might I assume you wish to speak to them about the current situation?" The droid seemed like it wasn't use to interacting with other Hutts, but at least it was ready to assist if needed. Even if they weren't Shell Hutts. The droid waited for a response, but would begin to set up for contacting his master.

Ura let off some happiness to hear that Voodoo squadron was there and ready. She worked with them above Tol Amn. She heard Voodoo one take the callsign Silver Leader, and quickly opened a channel to the squadron leader, speaking up in her telltale monotone.

"Silver Leader this is Razor-Tail. Good to see you fliers again. It's hard to tell what traffic's what.... Hang on, I'm picking up multiple fighters, and they don't look like Headhunters this time." Ura would roll her fighter into formation with the more conventional craft. The TIE engines screamed as she rolled, letting Ura know they were ready for a fight. Today would hopefully be the day they managed the beat back the Raiders. Maybe they wouldn't, but they could clean them off the ring.

Boss. Heavy radio chatter. Jedi have the Hutts located, and Team Paladin is moving in.

Good, let’s move.

Should we provide cover for their entry?

He could tell that Sauriel was rolling his eyes, even underneath the mask he was wearing, but Azrael had to give an answer to Michael.

They’re Rangers, they’re fine. We have our own orders.

It was true and blunt. Omega Squad got most of the nasty missions, but Team Paladin got them as well, on top of that they had a Jedi with them. That made them a tough bunch of S.O.B.’s that the team did not look at like they were children with pop-guns, even Sauriel respected them and he respects no one that does not wear the Omega patch, SJC or not. They weren’t fan-boys, but Omega knew that they did not have to babysit and that Paladin was a good distraction for them.

The Raider patrols seemed to intensify, Bartleby was picking up chatter that they knew that there were Jedi on the ground. It seems that the big boulder of a Jedi and his Arkanian cutey was being a little too obvious about their landing, not to mention a Padawan was giving away her position to anyone halfway decent with a console. None of this affected the team as they were sticking to the backways and alleys.

Tango down.

Tango down.

The next move came simply either due to a convenient accident or due to superior training. The team came across a Hutt sweeper team, they were clearly checking buildings and looking for those who were on the planet. “They say that they have not seen any Jedi.” One of the Weequay told what looked to be the team leader, they were roughing up a group of wayward kids and their elderly caretaker.

Orders boss…

Standby…

These orders bothered Peter, he did not sign on to just sit and watch innocent kids be killed. He was new and did not notice that Sauriel, the other sniper taking a shooting position. All of the originals were prepping, this leads to the newbies to do so as well one by one. Peter was all too eager to get into a sniping position at that point, he was getting the message. They had their orders and while they followed them, there were always the circumstances that played out like what was going on right in front of them.

Boss says we wait, we wait.

When the Hutt squad lined up their would-be victims execution-style and lined themselves up, Azrael just gave a nod. The only sounds that could be heard were the slugs slamming into the backs of the individuals slowly taking their lives away from them. Silently the team kept moving through another back alley.

Found it.

The demo expert, Scion just looked at his compatriot.

Tell me what I want to hear.

The cache. I’m detecting a zhidton of different thermobaric charges, torpedo material, proton material. This is definitely it…

Bartleby was hesitating, this was not because of any interference, Azrael knew why.

... but…

We blow it, we could take out the entire planet.

THAT much!

Sauriel just grabbed the new Assault addition to the team.

Quiet!

There’s no one besides us around here for a block.

You’re annoying me, shut up.

Enough… Scion, can you do something about that?

As the team set a cover perimeter, Scion was actually deep in thought. This was a tough one indeed, to blow all of this material, but to do so in a way that would not cause catastrophic collateral damage was a challenge in itself. The computations going on in his head would make a physicist jealous. He was getting the chance he needed to work, but they needed to move, one way or the other and he knew that. There was no time for jokes right now and while he was considered mentally unstable by several psyche exams, he was a pro when it was time to be.

We need water, a lot of it. We need a lifter droid or two to start moving these metal crates against the walls and keep their openings out into atmo.

Scion started working furiously on the shaped charges as Sauriel, Peter and Paul continued watch. Azrael and Bartleby went and grabbed hoses, and, under the direction of Scion began filling the huge metal boxes full of water. Ideal there would be sheets of metal welded against the wall and they would be filled with water, but there was a lack of materials and time and this would have to do. The canisters full of water would serve to direct the explosive energy of the explosive blasts, the added shock of the water itself would intensify the blasts and push them further. Overall with the placement of the canisters and charges, if all went correctly the explosion would go skyward and out into the middle of the ring where no innocents would be hit.

Ready.

This gonna work?

Let’s get out of the blast radius and find out.

You don’t know if it will work…

Scion was still going over the math in his head as he looked at everyone, annoyed that his abilities were called into question, especially by those that knew him as long as they did.

This sort of thing isn’t done. I’m working on the fly here. It’ll work.

Let’s move.

They continued through the back alleys and past where the others were said to be, that was far enough for Scion to hit the detonator.

The eruption could be seen from space.

Derelict Powerplant, Trafficker Den, Circumtore

Objective: BYOO - Infiltrate Trafficker Compound, Find the Younglings, Gather Intelligence on Trafficker's Clients
With: Sakadi Marathi Sinvala Sakadi Marathi Sinvala (Open to additional interations)

Jyoti wasn't joining another war anytime soon, but she could handle small tactical operations like these. Monstrous as they were, the traffickers were still just common thugs at the end of the day. Easy to dispatch, and with every fiber of being she wanted to do it. There had been more than enough death in the galaxy as of late, but the mother couldn't find a shred mercy within herself for flesh traders who preyed on the most vulnerable.

Taking down any trafficker would be as easy as removing vermin.

The Echani and her team of Ysanna riflemen quietly inserted at a different location from Master Sinvala, moving along the artificial waterway toward the base of the power plant at its rear. From the moment their feet touched the ground, their black Katarn armor shifted colors, melting into the environment as the digital plating took on the exact appearance of their surroundings. With every step they took, the armor continued shifting patterns and colors in real time in relation to their new position within the scene. Active camo wasn't like traditional stealth tech per se, but it rendered them nearly invisible to anyone outside the immediate vicinity.

They hadn't inserted far from the ruined plant, the structure already in view, but they took longer getting there than Sinvala's team as they tried to avoid detection. The trafficker's weren't totally inept, having deployed a few scattered patrols along the waterway. However, the Echani noted how sloppy the thugs were, most using the opportunity away from the powerplant to smoke spice or leisurely recount their recent criminal exploits.

"Do you hear them..." Walksy quavered over their psychic comms, overlooking a pair of human guards below the ridge where he was crouched. "They're talking about the kids...I could just pop them right now. None of these spice heads would probably even notice until after the op. Frakkers."

The Ysanna was a parent himself, one that had lost children during the Sith's takeover of Ossus. She could feel the rage begin to boil within him as they were earshot to evil.

"Soon...their victims will have justice, but we need to keep our eyes on the prize," she reminded him. "Axing the guards now may alert the rest of them to our presence and put the children at jeopardy. I know this is hard for you, but imagine how much harder it is for the survivors inside."

She was acting as the voice of reason, but it was a struggle for herself to remain cool. As a consolation, she toyed with the handle of her vibro-shiv.

Walksy sighed. "I know you're right...but they don't deserve a jail cell. They deserve two slugs through the back of the skull."

She didn't disagree with his statement, though her slug placement would have aimed lower.

When his temper subsided, they moved on.

Operation Plan:

While Sinvala initially attracts the attention of the trafficker's, Jyoti's will infiltrate the compound, hooking canisters of coma-gas into the ventilation system ahead of a raid by the of her team. Insurance in case 'negotiations' break down. She will also deploy spider drones inside to find the precise location of the children and increase situational awareness for all.

Radio silence is being maintained until Jyoti completes the first phase of her infiltration, though she is open to telepathic communication.

Remain steadfast and you are never without hope

LOCATION: Open Space
LOCAL TIME: 2215 hours
BASED:
The Carrier "Liberation"
ORDERS: Take out Kestolar Raiders
WINGMATES: Ura Iolar Ura Iolar Gir Quee Gir Quee

In space, the carrier quickly turned to move away from the Star Destroyer, while the frigate and CR90s, began to push closer. It seemed suicidal, but something had them prepared. Out of the carrier came five squadrons. An aged Y-Wing squadron, two Kihraxz squadrons, and two Scyk squadrons. The frigate and corvettes quickly targeted the Liberator, and the Y-Wings would try to pull close while the Scyks ran escort. The K-fighters would quickly pick up on Voodoo squadron and the Razor-Tail though, and would turn for their prey.

” Alright ‘Silver Two’, Voodoos can handle themselves, we’re moving on that carrier. Adjust power to your shields and accelerate to attack speed.” Voodoo two squadron moved in on the Y-wings. Their numerical superiority would make it a matter of time before the old, but tough as nails bombers would fall. Voodoo three squadron, loaded with A-wings ran cover from the Kihraxz as Liram throttled forward, S-foils in attack position and firing on any Scyk fighters he could hit on the way to the carrier. His target was still the larger ship and was attempting to draw anyone who would follow.

Changing the comm frequency, Voodoo One changed planes.

Voodoo eight(mostly Vortex II-class Interceptor and A-wings) and nine(Typhoon-class Modular Starfighter and Mistral-class Starfighter)… watch our backs… Voodoo eleven and twelve(both full of Sirocco-class Assault Fighter, Cyclone II-class Bomber, Gregale-class Heavy Fighter, Gale-class Heavy Fighter, and Devastator II Gunship)... those idiots think they can run on us. Teach those Corvettes not to make that mistake.

Silver Squadron was well on their way to hitting the carrier, and indeed the Scyks were following. His compliment of torpedoes was about to be emptied on the engines of this old carrier. She was not just going to be disabled, the crew was going to have to abandon ship. Lining and firing the four in rapid succession, he broke off, it was Razor Tail’s turn, then the next, then the next.

Des moved along with the boulder of a Jedi. The truth was the plan and their part in it, she understood. The approach became clear after a few moments of discussion. It was an intimidation tactic. Bullying the bullies. She liked that. But also if they were fumbling around with her and Caltin it definitely provided opportunities for the others. So it was that Des stood and checked her chrono. It was almost "go time." Those that knew her probably would have expected her to be anxious or nervous. Worried about what her actions of the day might bring. But no, she had a cold, almost icy exterior, calm and collected. In truth, deep down she felt like she had a score to settle. Whether it was with the Raiders or just herself was anyone's guess. But she looked ready.

With her and Caltin was Milya, another Padawan that somehow Desbre had managed to bring along. Another pale one, an Echani according to record. Approximately the same age, they could have almost been sisters by the looks. Even the way they carried themselves was similar. Caltin had been promised Milya could handle herself and needed some field experience. Des had agreed to look after her, so as not to get in his way.

Checking her chrono, she counted it down. Then announced in the open and over a loudspeaker. "Valco. You were warned. Time's up."

Nearby, the day turned to night in comparison to the brilliant fireball that erupted from the direction of the airstrip. There was no immediate sound, but she knew it was coming. A second later a blast wave hit the spaceport. Where there was glass, it shattered, but transparisteel held. The concussion wave should have knocked them off their feet. But the Jedi trio were rooted in the Force and protected by a Barrier.

The dozen or so shooters that had gathered at the entryway to the port and were prepared to ambush them were also knocked down. Des allowed herself to hear again even as the air crackled from secondary explosions going off overhead, ordinance cooking off but harmlessly away from the ground. It was a hell of a display. Reaching out with the Force she collected all the firearms from the downed hired guns and drew them to her in a ball. A couple passes with her lightsaber reduced them to expensive and very hot confetti. "I forgot, are we taking prisoners or no," she asked Caltin coldly. She advanced, giving her saber a forward spin, then a backward one, almost like a cat swishing its tail. She took a moment to spare a glance back at both Caltin and Milya.

Rising from her seat shortly after the others Milya moved to follow them out of the transport. She didn’t mind flying in truth. She rather enjoyed it but never did like being at the mercy of somebody else. Milya watched as Desbre Gensan Desbre Gensan and Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor , disembarked, moving to stick close to her new friend. It was odd to her being out here with Des and Caltin it almost made her long for her master again. That thought however was quickly pushed down a gentle sigh escaping her lips. Perhaps beating something senseless was the kind of therapy she needed, talking about feelings was not exactly the prescribed method of coping on Eshan.

Once outside the ship she quietly followed the mountain of a man and her friend. Perhaps some might mistake Des and her as sisters, after all they were of similar height and build, even roughly the same age but there were slight differences. One being Milya walked as if the weight of the galaxy were on her shoulders yet she also possessed a fierceness in her eyes that reflected those born on Eshan. Reaching to her belt she drew out Tuene, her shoto-saber rolling back her left sleeve and strapped Tuene lightly to her arm.

It was unorthodox to be sure, yet it was a tactic that served her well on occasion, with the saber secure she pulled her sleeve back down to conceal it before drawing Reu from her belt as well twirling the hilt absently in her hand getting the measure of its weight. A new saber was always a strange thing, it took time to get used.

Decoupling the saberstaff she shifted a hilt to each hand, a quick snap-hiss from each blade signaled their activation, followed by the distinct low hum. Each blade burned the color of a fading sunset, a burnt orange that bathed the area in an almost lava like light. She twirled one hilt absently then the other and about that time Des looked back at her. Milya gave a slight smile and a nod in recognition. Truthfully she was surprised she was allowed on this operation but no matter what now that she was here, she would do her job and look after her friend

"Jedi Tano-Bonteri, this is Paladin Actual. We read you five by five. Our strike team is two minutes out. What is the situation on the ground? Do you have eyes on the Target? What kind of resistance can we expect?"

"The people on the ground are starting to get uneasy," Kuxirra said, sensing it in the air. "Valco spends most of her time in the Terminal and Diplomatic Reception building. You'll probably find her there. Expect very tight security. Lots of resistance. That building is the safest on the planet." She said, hoping it was enough and mentally crossing her fingers.
