Okay, I hope I did that post honor. In short this is what I said:

Me and Patricia's snipers are essentially even footed right now.

Vulpesen makes Triam feel faint as the effects of Force Drain begin, but is then interrupted by both a new sniper shot aimed essentially above his groin, and a one second laser burst that's very dangerous (armor melting, not deflectable [can be bisected, but with great dangerous difficulty], and given the intensity improbable to absorb without major damage) and situationally difficult to avoid. One attack plays off the other, the sniper makes you want to move, the laser is intended to make sure you can't. It doesn't mean you can't, but right now Vulps is in a tough spot.

Oh, and the turbolaser came down since you forgot to mention it in your post, and I'm having it block either of our immediate escape if that's okay with you.

Is this an open role play? I did a general search for Geonosis hoping to dig up some history to write my character's biography and realized that this is currently ongoing. It might be a good role play to introduce my character.

Of course, my objective would be to maintain Geonosian independence.

[member="Una Luna"] I would contact the rebels for permission. I don't see anything wrong with it... except that the rebels have this weird thing going on where they're trying to impose some sort of "selectivist" philosophy or something weird like that, making Geonosians unionize of all things.

I suggest waiting until the ACA wins so we can fix that ;P

After the successful defense of Geonosis you're welcome to come down and talk to the new Geonosian government, but there's been a bit of a reorganization of society down there. Check with us first before you start any major storyline involving the Geonosian government or society!
