The admittance of the second kill being sloppy was an interesting remark that Eira was not expecting since few were willing to admit their faults and fewer still were happy when others confronted such failures. Eira was not someone who enjoyed admitting when she was wrong so seeing another do so gave a level of respect that Eira had not been prepared to give. If this infiltrator could admit to their flaws, then they were more interesting and wiser than Eira had given initial credit towards.
Which meant reassessing the fight and the skills that her opponent may have. There were likely more tricks and attacks that a simpler mind would not be focusing on. Tactics too advanced.
Her plan had some effect but was not as skilfully executed as the assassin had desired. She had to reload her pistol and used the Force to pull the dagger back into her hand. Eira had spotted that her opponent dove under the table and she was getting ready to rip the table away with the Force before shots came out of the table. Fortune favoured Eira in that moment since most missed her, allowing the Sith assassin to away behind a pillar but there was a sharp intake of breath. Her left calf was scorched by grazing shots of the blaster. Eira cursed herself for being too slow, as well as not having learned the necessary skills to make a blaster useless against her.
The skin was burning, searing in pain but the pain was fuel. It was power. She took the self-hatred in her failures, the pain of the injury and she let it burn in the Dark Side for her. Burning as intensely as the young assassin could, she spun out of cover, squatting low as she extended a hand. From her fingertips, Force Lightning of a deep purple colour launched itself right at the spy. Eira was utilising everything she held in emotionally to weaponize against the other woman. To inflict pain worthy of delicious screams Eira wished to hear.
Thoughts on stopping any hacking attempts were quickly fading from her mind as Eira focused more of exacting hurt on Amalia.
