TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
  • Deflector Shield Generator
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Dual Hypermatter Annihilators
STRENGTHS
  • Hit-and-Run. The Jaw-Class gunships are equipped with a very powerful engine, allowing them to engage eney capital ships in high speeds which allow high level of evasive maneuvers against enemy fire. Should the need arises, the very powerful Hyperdrive can easily allow the vessel to enter hyperspace, for both pursuit as well as escape, during battle.
  • Pirate Ship. The crew manning these warships are corsairs; Hired guns and underworlder crew, manning the cheap-made warships are not counting as much of a loss, in case these ships are destroyed.
WEAKNESSES
  • Insufficient Defense Measures. Due to their rather limited size and storage space, the defense equipment mounted onboard is rather scarce, with the ship being unable to fully engage against fighter swarms and excess firepower without support from fighter screens, or further reinforcements.
  • No Ammo. After the vessel's armament ammunition is emptied, the ship is unable to further contribute to the engagement, as it lacks any space to load additional supplies and munition.
DESCRIPTION
The Jaw-Class Gunships are light warships equipped with heavy armaments and manned by corsairs. Their primary role in battlefield is to venture forth under the cover of the heavier Athysian ships and discharge their deadly load upon enemy capital ships, wounding or even overcharging their shields to open the path for the heavier warships to claim the kill. Jaw-Class Gunships are very hard to find outside a host fleet, as their ill-designed support role does not allow them independance when it comes to skirmish.
