The Wilds of Midvinter Summer on Midvinter was not as one might expect, given the name of the season. The world was virtually set in an eternal winter, snow could fall any day and ice could crisp even the deepest waters. It was not a place that was kind on skin, especially not when you got...

She had felt it from across the aether. So loud were her cries that Ariel had been forced to cease his flight, and Groom had simply joined in. Neither had left her side since. It wasn't that she was a stranger to loss, far from it. Some of her earliest memories pertained to exactly that, and...

Mysa had never felt quite so content. She could feel the weight of a cloak bearing down on her, Felix lay across her feet, as she lay in place. Though something didn't quite feel right. Wrong choice of words, something didn't quite feel normal, as it usually did when she woke. Mysa Vi'dreya...

Sleet hailed down from above, soaking her furs and setting a shiver to her body. That, or the fact that she chose a path through Thainbroek which still bore houses in a sorry state of repair caused it. She had not been home long, a couple of days at most, and while Felix was happy amidst the...
