More ships within the ORC fleet were beginning to retreat. This was good, even as EM interference from the satellites came upon them. The pilots of Crimson Command were skilled in handling themselves in such an environment - many of them had fought over two decades ago against foes in the Unknown Regions, and those that had not had been picked from the best of the Imperial Navy's pilots to join such fleet units. The fighters would organize themselves into diamond-shaped superformations by squadron, allowing the rear pilot to keep sight of any obstacles to the side and reducing the chances of collision. The XoXaan IIs would continue to bombard M1, and with the 'mysterious weapon' having forced frigate K2 to retreat from the immediate field of battle, Vanessa chose to relax and instead focus on doing the same to the corvette designated X2. As a corvette, the required power usage to attempt to crumple the vessel's vulnerable locations was an order of magnitude less, but still great - great enough that Vanessa was still in a kneeling position on the bridge, eyes closed as she focused on trying to rend the corvette into a pile of scrap.
The engineers of Crimson Command were working on a solution - such was to utilize sensors of the
Corrupter to broadcast the virus from earlier into one of the jamming platforms, which would then rebroadcast it to all other non-Sith IFFs within the immediate area. The disruption of the EM field would soon become minimal, the satellites becoming little more than space debris plinking off the particle shielding of the Imperial fleet as it advanced. M1's engines sputtering had left it as prey, and the XoXaans would turn to bring more of their weapons to bear at moderate range, still attempting to close the gap.

The
Heresiarch was a monstrous warship, and it did not intend for its prey to escape so easily. The ship turned to keep its UBeam facing the
Verdict, a UBeam that was now fully charged and ready to fire. And so it did - the immense green beam of plasma mimicking the fire of such warships as the
Sovereign,
Eclipse,
Conqueror, and the original
Heresiarch which this ship was named after. How much damage to the battlecruiser it would do was uncertain - the capabilities of such a ship were hardly clear after all. The captain of the
Heresiarch did not, however, ignore the threat of the oncoming Star Cruiser - a threat which would soon be dealt with by the Heresiarch rolling to bring its side-mounted LRBBeams into play as they would target and fire at the ship. Side-mounted weapons fire from the
Heresiarch's missiles and smaller beam cannons, along with its other weapons, would move to strike the
Rigor, while its forward-mounted weaponry would assail the
Verdict.
The oncoming horde of destroyer escorts would soon be met by a slightly larger group of incoming ships - ships which Vanessa had rarely brought out. These vessels, Massassi-class corvettes, were premiere corvette-killers - at range they would charge their SBeams and each individually take a target, engaging it with their forward weapons as well as their ordnance launchers - each of which in this case had been loaded with a magazine of seeker baradium missiles. Their anti-fighter beams would begin to strike the fighter squadrons working in concert with the enemy corvettes, hopefully denying them the opportunity to save their larger peers from danger.

The two battleships had been rush-identified, as had the individual responsible for them - the wife, evidently, of one Dax Fyre. Apparently a leader within the ORC, possessing his wife as a hostage would be beneficial for Vanessa in the long run. The intricacies of their relationship could be further studied, and Vanessa could utilize such intricacies against him during their next confrontation. From long range, a pair of
Saturn-type battleships, the offensive variant, were preparing to shock-jump within range of the
Nagato and her sister ship. Vanessa was unsure as to what vessel said woman was on, and as such had a Saturn filled with drop pods primed for both of them. After the calculations were done, the ships would jump in at exceptionally close range to the enemy battleships - nearly collision range - and begin to launch boarding pods that would head towards the bridges of both vessels. Incapacitating the ship's command center was paramount, after all, and if Kimiko could not be found on either, it would buy the Darktrooper teams time to penetrate deeper into the ship and find her.
What would happen upon penetration would be a different story, but the boarding pods were full of the finest
Dark Troopers Vanessa could put forward - there were several bloodtroopers, with powered dark troopers, Oppressor-16 automated dark troopers, and a dark trooper commander as well. The force making the incursion was highly skilled and highly armored. With luck, they would succeed at their mission with minimal casualties.
