The Vosotho is a mainstay for the Dark Empire and Ascendant Order troop transporting and planetary landing operations. Its interior is almost completely focused on transporting troops into battle and sacrifices firepower and sleek design for that focus but can therefore carry an equal amount to that of the much larger Terminus-class.
Its four hangar bays, two on each side, hold not only a small complement of strike or landing craft, but also are equipped with assault ramps that allow a quick deployment of the soldiers or battle droids transported on that craft. With a small crew, a meagre armament, it is only the speed and defences that make the craft competitive in space, offering a two fold protection for its precious cargo.
