Explosions rocked the capital city of Ravelin, as the Diarch had began to leave the summit. And while the empress had hinted that there would be no bloodshed today, Reign could not help but feel the cold sting of treachery. Had the Empire lied in their claim that they would leave in peace? It had not been his people that fired first, he could guarantee that. Laphisto Laphisto was there to ensure this.

His rage and heartbreak knew no bounds, as his
Myrmidons fell in behind him Reign began his own advance. The Blood-Orange lightsaber lit and moving towards the delegation of the lost. If they were behind this, then there would be no need for any further battles or conversations. He would utilize their leadership to flush out the Fifth Wing.

"Treachery! Forward men, bring these 'Lost' to justice"

He had no intent to kill the leadership that had attended the summit, they were as much tools as he was, but in his desperation to root out the Sith he had met at Malachor, he was not above the capture of whoever he could. Who knew how deep this conspiracy ran.

Striking down troopers and delegates alike, the towering Diarch advanced towards where the duplicitous Imperial Delegation had been retreating.

Objective II : The Second Battle of Bastion

DARK EMPIRE
BASTION, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

divider-megint-DE2.png

THE FIRST FLEET
INV Sularen's Revenge [100|100]
INV Imperium [100|100]
INV Dominance [100|100]
INV Harbinger [100|100]

As the Imperial Fleet began it's advance towards the Diarchy Fleet, the enemy command was quick to respond soon splitting up their fleet into two separate battlegroups most likely in an attempt to micromanage both engagements against the Fleets of the Dark Empire and the Empire of the Lost. It was an interestingly bold strategy especially given the Diarchy was outnumbered and outgunned by both fleets, with the division of their forces only further weakening their position. Then the enemy followed up by launching a barrage of ion weaponry upon the fleets of both of the Imperial factions most likely in an attempt to drain the shields first before firing their more heavier weapons.

"Status of the Shields?" Sularen inquired. "Our shields are holding." one of the Defense Officers said. "All ships are reporting the same, the enemy is having a minimal impact on our shielding." a Communications Officer added. With only four warships firing to fire their weapons against the 19 Ships of the combined Dark Imperial Fleet, the Diarchy's initial attack was weak and largely ineffective with the stronger shielding of the larger and more powerful ships of Sularen's fleet holding against such an attack. Now it was time for the Dark Empire to respond in kind with a stronger and more overwhelming response.

"Are we in range of the enemy fleet." the Lord-Regent inquired. "Yes, Lord-Regent all ships are in optimal range of the enemy fleet." the Weapons officer responded. "Begin heavy bombardment of the lead Star Destroyer of the enemy battlegroup with the Psuedosonic Beam Canon and the Seismic Mass Drivers, and have the rest of the Fleet concentrate their fire upon the Heavy Cruisers." Sularen instructed. Then Sularen opened a channel to the Red Hand to speak with Lord Militant Vaiken. "Militant Vaiken. Have your fleet execute flanking maneuver around the enemy fleet. I want that battlegroup to be isolated and cut off from the rest of the Diarchy Fleet confronting the Empire of the Lost so that there will be no escape for them." the Lord-Regent ordered.

Following the Lord-Regent's orders, the large dorsal Psuedosonic Beam Canon began to emerge from it's hidden position underneath the Sularen's Revenge's dorsal superstructure while the four large Seismic Mass Drivers began to adjust themselves as they locked onto the lead Star Destroyer of the enemy fleet. At the same time, the Imperium, Dominance and Harbinger began to open fire upon the four Heavy Cruisers of the enemy fleet firing every weapon they had in the hopes of quickly overwhelming the Heavy Cruisers before they could throw out a significant response. As the three warships unleashed a deadly barrage of firepower upon the Heavy Cruisers, the Sularen's Revenge followed suit unleashing a powerful concentrated beam of sonic energy at the Star Destroyer followed by a heavy bombardment from all four Seismic Mass Drivers.

From the bridge, Sularen watched as his fleet unleashed hell upon the enemy battlegroup. The enemy commander had made a severe miscalculation upon splitting up his fleet and Sularen was going to take every advantage of it to ensure the rapid destruction of the Diarchy Fleet. In addition to that he was certain that the Diarchy further lacked strong defensive capabilities against such an overwhelming attack or even a sufficient amount of starfighters to secure starfighter supremacy, which only further signaled their doom. With the Empire possessing superior firepower, sturdier defenses and a larger compliment of starfighters, the Lord-Regent knew that it was only a matter of time before the Diarchy's forces crumbled in the face of such a superior fleet.

  • The Shields of all Four Ships of the First Fleet absorb much of the initial ion-based attack from the Diarchy Fleet while maintaining maximum Shield Integrity
  • The First Fleet responds with a heavy barrage against the enemy battlegroup once it get's in range
    • The Imperium, Dominance and Harbinger focus on the Four Heavy Cruisers with their primary weapons
    • The Sularen's Revenge targets the Star Destroyer with it's Psuedosonic Beam Canon and two pairs of Seismic Mass Driver Canons
  • Sularen orders Vaiken to begin a flanking maneuver around the enemy battlegroup to cut them off from the other battlegroup fighting the Empire of the Lost.

The security guards kept Iellax silently in custody. The silence was the worst part. They wouldn't exchange teases, acknowledge her flirtations or even partake in idle chit chat. That being the case, Iellax was quite glad when the blonde guide of the tour approached. Sure it would mean answering questions. But that was better than standing here in silence.

A smirk formed on Iellax' lips as she noticed the lovely form of Lissa was not with Zara. Hopefully that would mean Precious would have an easier escape. Iellax also had small hope that Lissa would do something stupid and courageous and come to the Nagai's rescue at some point. But that was not something she would count on. "You are smart enough to know I am not Amina. And though I don't know what is going on out there. I am smart enough to guess you won't have the time to ask too many questions. For now let us say I am looking for information. Not trying to cause pain or destruction. I am sure that will ring hollow due to horrible timing, but that's what I got for you at the moment."

Iellax gave Zara a wink, "I do hope our other friend was not injured in the attack. She looked like she would have been fun after spending some time with your novel collection. Another loss for me it seems," there was a light giggle before Iellax continued. "I guess the ball's in your court now. But I have been trained well. It'll take quite the torture to get more out of me. And I will worn you I've got a little masochist in me so the screams you elicit may not be what you are used to."

Finally, a return to the bloody dance of battle. It had been too long since Nathrax had truly loosed himself upon an enemy before. Usually he was remanded to the back of the line, leading his men from the rear, too precious was he as an asset. Now though, he could slake his thirst for carnage with the countless hordes of troopers that were before him. Each movement was calculated, in tune with the force that guided the Sith to his next target. He would flip, tumble, and dodge around blasters. Swirling himself and his lightsaber with deadly flourish.

Eventually, he heard voices speaking, shouting to protect the Empress of the Lost. Under the Nagai's mask he gave a wanton grin. His bone like face covering drenched in gore as he slaughtered his way to the defensive line.

"Do mine ears deceive me?! Am I in the presence of royalty??? My my, where are my manners?! I have forgotten to give special attention to our little interloper! Do make way for me men! I wish to have my audience with the Empress personally..."

The insane ramblings of Nathrax were targeted at the elite bodyguards who were before him. He wanted to see how they would react to a force as powerful as the experienced Sith. He hoped there would be fear, enough for him to feast on. A palpable amount of fright that he could really sink his teeth into. Yet it seemed there was one who did not freeze at the lightsaber wielding maniac, a blond woman in white. She would be a most dazzling target to break.

He hoped that she was part of the Empress's entourage, an appetizer before the main course. One who might challenge him, or dare he to hope, kill him. One strong enough to finally end his battle lust, oh he could dream!

The smell of soot filled the air as the city burned. In the distance the Sloan Naval Academy. Its name another remnant of the empires time on the planet. Now stood as one of the last defensible areas of the city of Revelin, the irony dawning on the Diarch. Its vital role had made its security a higher priority as without it, the shelling of the city might never be stopped. With secondary and tertiary cannons still firing into the sky - it was a beacon for all the citizens of the Diarchy.

Maneuvering through the crowds of injured and disheveled peoples of Revelin the Diarch would stop and speak swiftly to all who would listen. Rallying them to hate the Empire of the Lost. To know where the blame laid for this atrocity. As the military personnel saw their Diarch they parted the people and cleared a path for him. Having left the communicator he used before with the military he had seen earlier he had no direct way to contact Varis. Simply feeling for him through the force ever so slightly among the chaos he made his way to the man.

At the launching center of the retaliatory attack laid his best friend. Directing crowd control and aid while simultaneously working to get more ships in the air.

Varis: "My lord" A firm handshake shared between the two, a smile upon each of their faces as they found a glimpse of love within the chaos. "I have four of the N&Z Tyrants ready to fly. I plan on myself being in command as we are low on naval officers at the moment." Tapping the small pendant that held the symbol of the Diarchy with a Dxun hounds head within the center. "Those who know the weight of the Diarchs hunter know to follow my authority. As for you, what are your plans?"

"I am in need of the Solar Spectrum from Nyva Shei. A ship belonging to her master could land me aboard the Obscurer class vessel where presumably Lyssara is. Have you contacted the people I requested?"

Varis: "Yes sir, Kallous Kallous has already arrived and has taken up helping the citizens until your orders. There have been reports of another but no direct sightings. I believe it to be the man Lord Dvasius Lord Dvasius "

"Good, line to Nyva Shei Nyva Shei and tell her to come within the small fighter hanger. We must deport immediately."

With that Rellik departed to the hanger awaiting the pick up from Nyva and to bring the pain back to those who deserved it.

The 2nd Ascendant Fleet advanced, its speartip hulls gliding forward through the void and towards the designated enemy. She could feel the readiness of her soldiers, the tension that waited to be unleashed unto an enemy, the excitement of adrenaline and fear mixed in a cocktail that was held together by exemplary discipline and an unwavering sense of duty. Aemicia still sat just there with her legs crossed and reviewed data with blinks of her eyes. For someone unaugmented she had a remarkable ability to work through information, calculations and make decisions based off of it.

It was when the sporadic long range fire started to hit the first battle line that her attention was drawn to it. With a swift swipe she reviewed the data from the Black Sword, Andronicus and Righteous Fury, the three ships in the lead. Shields were holding without large difficulties, the range was too long and the fire spread between too many ships. With a glance she inspected the surface data available to her from the Lord-Regent's squadron and was satisfied to see that it suffered not worse than them.

Her eyes came up to the incoming transmission.
"Militant Vaiken. Have your fleet execute flanking maneuver around the enemy fleet. I want that battlegroup to be isolated and cut off from the rest of the Diarchy Fleet confronting the Empire of the Lost so that there will be no escape for them."

Flank them? They had already appeared in their rear and forced the Diarchy forces to split. Flanking around them and wedge between them would potentially offer Sularen's ships to move in finish off this contingent but it would also offer the Diarchy to surround her own ships engaged in that as well as any stray Lost Navy fire to hit her units and she had exactly zero trust in the fleet of the imperial pretenders. There was a high chance for unnecessary losses in this scenario which she was not willing to take for the fledgling Ascendant Navy.

"Lord-Regent, I will move my fleet further starboard and swing around the right wing of the V to trap the Diarchy against the planet. We can prevent an escape that way while not risking to be hammered between three fleets. A further, deeper thrust can still be performed from that position if required."

Accompanying the transmission would be a quick drawing on a tactical map to illustrate her idea.

While waiting for a response, she was already adjusting her orders to the fleet while its elements started returning the fire. A first wave of assault concussion missiles was fired from all available tubes, cheap ordnance that could be replaced with ease, aiming for the enemies corvettes, but focusing on the select units in lead. Megamasers and Reductor Concussion Cannons opened fire next, equally concentrating the fire on the lead Corvettes, the front of the Terminus-classes unleashing their firepower. Through uplinked computers and Vaiken's personal interference and micromanaging, they aimed almost as one as they shot and tried to score early hits on the enemies' escorts.

Meanwhile the entire fleet was pushing further starboard than port, more parallel to the planet than towards it as previously. It seemed as if they wanted to get to the other side of the system rather than directly engage the Lilaste Order fleet. In some minutes they would present them a broadside if no course correction would be made . . . .

Objective III: Rescue Lyssara Thrynn

The Sith Lord moved, cloaked, throughout the city, but even still and as fast as he was moving weak, panicking civilians kept nearly running into him on the streets, trying to escape for their lives as if there was somewhere that wasn't being invaded to run to. It was starting to get to the point it was dangerous to move this way, for him, and at these speeds, not to mention it was incredibly sûdasing annoying. Cowards running from a war they couldn't hide from, while he ran toward the fight, toward the danger. Eh, sûdas it. He looked up to the rooftops of nearby houses and was on top of them in less than a second. Still unseen he looked down at them, disgusted, like scared mites. Suppose he had to move on and get to fighting this war for them, like playing the hero, but he wasn't that. The Sith assassin had his reasons for doing this and they were all for his benefit more than anyone else's, but not like he'd tell them that, but who wouldn't suspect a Sith. Luckily he was especially good at covering his tracks with the profession he had.

Lord Dvasius turned his back on the screaming, fleeing citizens and moved as fast as his will over the Force would let him in the other direction. To Sloan Naval Academy, the place Varis Oakertain Varis Oakertain had sent back coordinates to from the channel the Sith had sent to him. Look at that. They were already sharing information. Moving over rooftops was a lot faster, if not kind of cliche for an assassin to do, he could see in the distance it wasn't far. A clear, "holographic" map was placed over his vision along the path he was going in real life to lead him there.

Finally he reached an area that was almost completely clear of useless civilians, but that meant the other guys were here instead. Wasting time wasn't wise, but maybe take down a few targets, just to scratch the itch. Dvasius couldn't even tell which kind of Imperials these were and simple moved in shadow to attack. He searched them out and hunted them down quietly. One was found relaxing on the the railing of someone else's porch, either they got out or they were dead, probably from this guy and his friends.

The man was looking off to the side of the house, across the ally at something, seemingly taking in the view. He was completely clueless to the Sith in black crouching behind him on the other railing across from the door. He did nothing as a red lightsaber ignited with a somehow sinister sounding hum and the Sith leapt at him from behind to his side and decapitated him as he went over the railing. Another soldier was in front of the first, on the ground, ahead and to the side a little, he only started to turn around as Dvasius kept the momentum from the last swing and brought it down through his shoulder to the trooper's hip on the other side.

From inside a young, scared Imperial man came out of the door to watch as a third one of his comrades' blaster shot was deflected to the side before he took a diagonal down slash the same as the guy before him. After watching someone who was probably his friend die, the younger soldier at the door managed the courage to try to shoot their murderer in the back, only for the "VRMM!" sound to echo a red lightsaber moving in front of his shot. It almost sounded like the lightsaber itself was as disappointed and offended as the Sith Lord using it. That was followed by the last sound he ever heard: his own blaster bolt melting through the center of his forehead, making a violent "PTEW!" sound, with a near silent crunch.

Dvasius didn't even turn around to see the last look of dead shock in the boy's expression as he fell to his knees and then his face on the floor. The assassin was too busy following that up by cutting the last of his teammates in half with another diagonal slash, rising this time, then falling back down the same way. The Sith kicked the dying soldier so his two pieces fell the other way, away from him, and just for the benefit of the Imperial dying at the doorway he down swung his lightsaber to slit the other man's throat as if he wasn't already dead from being cut in half, just to add insult to his and the other man's' fatal injury.

img_8047-png.1223

Alright, enough playing around. Can't have that incoming ship leave to the battle in orbit above to rescue same random ass girl without him now. The Sith picked up the pace until he reached the building he was directed to, then cloaked himself in the Force once again to walk inside. When he arrived to the exact location of the rendezvous point Lord Dvasius heard Varis and the one he believed was Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik talking about double checking their allies were coming. They mentioned some random Kallous Kallous person and a Nyva Shei Nyva Shei , that was the pilot, he thought, then they mentioned seeing him. No they didn't, no one sees him unless he wants them to or if they're about to be unavoidably dead in the next second. It wasn't him, but there were others of Dvasia ai Hadzuska he'd brought with him. One of them was clumsy it seemed and stupid.

The Master of Shadows ran through the recent recordings of the cybernetic eyes his men had implanted in their heads to find the failure. Suddenly the culprit, now successfully hiding in the shadows, like he for some reason couldn't do before, began to choke for seemingly no reason. "Ani ziji rim. . . Nariu waria wau. Zudyti ri kitok diwtija diâ anas ajiusona diu riaji wa rim. (They saw him. . . No one will again. Kill the new kid and the idiot who recommended him.)" a harsh voice cracked over comms. The "new kid" was pushed back with the Force into the arms of two other Shadows, still choking until his throat was telekinetically crushed the moment they had hold of him. The man who recommended him had his throat slit immediately, they were both thrown off the nearest balcony and set on fire. "Kosi sûdas! (Dumb fucks!)" were the last words ever said about them, echoed over comms, by their leader. No funeral, no eulogy because they did not exist, not anymore, now it was literal and officially so. A weak minded assassin could not exist, would not exist. The universe would always punish them and so would Lord Dvasius. No failures, no sûdas ups. "Success or death", his master had said.

NOW- that that was taken care of, mistakes corrected, things could proceed as meticulously indented. The leader of Dvasia ai Hadzuska, hidden from eyes and in the Force, straightened his cloak and attempted to adjust his emotions as well before approaching his new contacts. This might be fun. Out of the void Dvasius appeared behind Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik and tapped him on the shoulder, "Hello! I'm-" then blinked a few feet back, out of arm's distance, just in case. They couldn't see he was smiling under his faceless, white mask, thinking it was funny. Ahem "I'm Lord Dvasius. You called for my help, yes? Misplaced a friend... No. She was taken, right? You want her back. I can help, but it's not a favor and I want more than Imperial blood. I want to know something new I don't know, hm. You understand. I mean no disrespect, I'm just laying down the deal. I make deals, I'm not a mercenary and I'm not for sale. Neither are my men." As he said the last word close to ten beings, in dark robes similar to his own, appeared then disappeared again in the blink of an eye. The Sith sniffed in from one nostril, his signature sign of his boredom. "So let's do this, yeah?"

Augustus listened to the Moff's plan, inputting data through his podium, altering the battlemap in front of him with each dictation. It was a sound strategy, it only required more waiting on Augustus's part. The Manticore shook with the next volley from the Lilaste orders fleet, although it was a little less effective than the barrages from before. He looked up just as a technician held up his hand from the pit while saying, "Sir, it seems that the Order's fleet is splitting in two. After that last barrage, our shields are holding at eighty-nine percent."

Another officer from the pit spoke up, "Sir, they are firing what seems to be ion or EMP-based mass driver rounds."

"We are going to alter our shielding then." He stood with both hands on the podium, "Change shields one and three to energy, two and four to counter Ion and thermal respectively, and five and six to kinetic. If they want to reach our armor that much, we'll make them fight for it."

Augustus looked back towards Maldor, "It seems we'll be charging the enemies just like we did at Mon Cala. I have no alterations to your plans my Lord. I await for your cruisers to arrive."

"Sir," the communications officer called out, "ISD Gargoyle is requesting to enter active comms with us."

He nodded glancing back down to the battlemap before him. He had missed Captain Dréze's entrance, he would have to apologize later. He watched as the captain materialized next to Maldor's visage, each pixel stacking on top of the other before becoming clearer.

“This is Captain Dréze of the ISD Gargoyle to Fleet Command. We have commenced our attack. Requesting IFF confirmation on the Dark Empire vessels. Please advise.”

"Captain Dréze, I apologize for not connecting you sooner. Currently, we have no additional data on the Dark Empire vessels. Per Moff Mecetti, do not engage unless engaged first." He pressed a few buttons on his podium and began sharing battle data and strategies via the unified engagement network. "That should help clear up some information. With that data is the strategy that the Moff and I have planned. But to enumerate, I will be holding my position here until the Lord's cruisers arrive for support. The Legion will be following us, I suggest that you turn bearing 22.5 and meet with the Moff's ship at this point providing our carrier a welcomed defensive boost as well as long-range fire covering myself."

He watched the battlemap play out the strategy. He watched as the Tercio cruisers and the Legion moved up, with Kato's Ten-Six meeting the Legion. As the map began to display the next part, Augustus quickly took in a breath and continued, "Once the cruisers reach me, we will begin pushing, much like our non-hostile participants, the Dark Empire, until I can target the Order's flagship with my Tractor Beam Array. Any questions?"

The bridge's alarms began to go off, woop-woop until they stopped just as quickly as they came. "Sir, enemy fighters and bombers en route."

Chit, he thought. He looked toward his flight controller. "Launch all our fighters, have the devastators hold back on our ventral side until the bombers pass, then strike from behind. Hunds are to intercept--" He stopped mid-sentence hearing the humm of his tractor-beam array.
"Scratch that, helm, activate the AIMS system, and put the tractor beam right in the middle of their incoming squadron. Flight control, still launch fighters, but have them intercept any missiles that come from fighters or bombers caught outside the array. If they want to meet me, I'll drag them here. Have the forward deactivation transmitters target anything going for the array, and the forward ion cannons target any ships caught in the array."

A loud thummm-thumm-thum can be heard throughout the ship before a brilliant green energy protrudes from the bow of the Manticore as the tractor beam array activates, pulling everything in its path toward it with violent fury. All while the rest of the Manticore's batteries continue its barrage on the order's corvettes. The Basilisk wasn't able to use its beam array during the last battle with the TAC, therefore this would be the first time it was used outside of testing. He felt the ship lock into place, becoming even more of a sitting target than before watching the beam as it caught the first couple of the Order's starfighters.

New-Eot-L-Divider.png

  • Augustus swaps his shield loadout for the following: Energy | Ion | Energy | Thermal | Kinetic | Kinetic
  • Confirms plan and waits for the arrival of the Tercio Cruisers
  • Connects and shares plan with Captain Kato Dréze
  • Bombers Incoming, tractor beam array is used on the group. Effectively dragging them to the Manticore. (this is how the beam array works)
    • Becomes a sitting duck while the tractor beam array is active.
  • Continues to fire on the Order Fleet, prioritizing corvettes.

Kallous was not altogether sure what had happened. He wasn't one to care for politics. He wasn't one to inject himself into business that was not his own. He knew some, and he had an inkling of what was going on. But he was a little preoccupied to really do much pondering.

As it stood there were foreign soldiers landing in the city. And Kallous was busy evacuating the civilian populace to whatever strongholds and safehouses there were. Many of them were sent to the Naval Academy. Many more were brought underground to bunkers or basements where they would simply have to hide out until the fighting stopped. All the while Kallous had to kill a number of soldiers who were making their way through the city's streets. He had yet to receive any orders from any of his superiors, and so he simply did what he understood to be his duty. Defend the people, reinforce their soldiers, and kill everything else.

And he was doing as good a job as could be expected. Several civilians were too dead to be saved, but a number of others were able to make it, thanks to the work of him and his. His new Storm Detachment had been particularly useful in holding down corridors and dealing with tougher opponents. With their help they'd been able to bring a decent portion of the front to a defensive standstill, which was effectively a victory as far as defending was concerned. He only hoped that they could last long enough for it to mean something.

After a while there was a lull in the action, and Kallous took the opportunity to go and report to his mentor and Diarch.

"You two, on me." He addressed two of his soldiers, as he turned and made his was quickly to the naval academy. The two men moving to follow on his flanks as he'd directed. It was time to find out exactly what was going on, and to receive official orders.

He marched through the academy's halls, past a number of civilians taking refuge and soldiers guarding the building, past damaged walls and batteries still firing at the armada above them. He questioned a sergeant on Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik 's current location. Kallous was informed that he was meeting with others in the fighter bay. If the Diarch was there then he was planning on doing something himself, which told Kallous that whatever it was it was a priority objective, and he made haste to meet with him in that hangar.

He entered the room, and approached the Diarch. "Diarch Rellik, Sorry I'm late. I've secured a defensive perimiter around the academy, and it's being held down by the Infantry and the Storm Detachment. They should be able to handily keep this place locked down. I was told you were here and came to request instructions."

For the second time on this fateful day she found herself surprised, confused and anxious. It had been one thing to discover that the so called LORD OF HUNGER had infiltrated the Empire of the Lost through the N&Z Corporation but it was another to see a literal ghost standing in front of her. Vanessa Vantai, otherwise known to Her as Circe Savan, had been a business magnet who had dealt in the sale and distribution of arms such as weapons, vehicles or combat readied ships as the head of Subach-Innes: a manufacturer and distributor of weapons which operated primarily in Sith occupied space after the Four-Hundred Year Darkness had subsided for an era of Chaos.

Now she was standing in front of her.

It didn't make sense.

After an incident involving a Mandalorian turned Sith Lord (who had put together the off-the-books operation dubbed 'WEEDKILLER' to destroy Savan's business assets) the corporation had rebranded and aligned itself to the One Sith following the collapse of the Eighth Sith Empire during the Battle of Dac in the 840s. Emeritus Industries (as Subach-Innes rebranded itself too) had later acquired mining rights to the planet Obredaan while supplying weaponry to the lesser known faction that had called itself, 'The Hoarde', which had later led to the rise of the Bryn'adul threat across the Outer Rim Territories some years later.

The subsequent rise and fall of the Sith Lord known as Darth Pandeima-- formerly known as Circe Savan, or Vanessa Vantai-- had been imparted to Her by her predecessor for Darth Mendacium had thought it important to collect and subsequently pass on the actions of those who had come before him to his apprentice so that the sins of the past could be used to learn from mistakes, or in some cases (such as the Obredaan Peel) to be used by them as the grand plan to destroy the Jedi continually evolved and adapted to the ever changing currents of a Galaxy rife with chaos, and disorder.

So it was shocking to see the face of a woman who should be dead. The story had gone that during a bid of power and supremacy over the One Sith that Pandeima had stepped forward to take the throne only to be stabbed in the back by her apprentice. In this way the RULE OF TWO had completed it's cycle, and a new master had replaced the old as Bane had taught his followers. Had Darth Ayra succeeded in killing Pandeima, or had she been deceived?

Onrai said:
"You... Get away... Now..."

As Onrai came forward Her deactivated her Lightsaber and looking up to the ceiling above to proclaim:

"SILENCE!"
Above them, as it hung from the ceiling, a Cone of Silence activated as it was prompted by it's voice subroutines to come to life. Simultaneously the cell block around them went dark, and was instead replaced by an eerie white light which fell upon the entity now known as Onrai and which was consequentially formerly known as DARTH PANDEIMA. With a flick of her wrist Her activated a ray shield via the Force to place the former Sith Master into a stasis field, which combined with the effects of the Cone, and that of the eerie light above them, into a position of complete and utter silence without the ability to move to leave her to think about things that she wanted to forget.

It happened quickly just like on Coruscant. Unexpected, and devastating in their own unique ways. It is quiet in here, isn't it? The dark often gives way to sinister thoughts, or bad memories. A woman who had become the entity ONRAI had boarded this vessel to claim it as it had done so many times before to other such crafts only to look upon the face of a woman who seemed so similar and yet distinctly alien. Now it is trapped in the white light of the cone, and memories of a former life swirl to the surface. Did it hurt to be so close to someone you used to love only to discover that they are gone? Was it revenge that you seek? Who shouted at Sularen as they debated Korvan's successor?

This girl, who created this crisis, isn't her. It was said that Circe had taught everything that she knew to Alicia, but had she taught Ayra how to become immortal? Was she, somehow, still alive all this time latter? Some out there believe that after the One Sith destroyed the Old Republic that she had become the new host to a fallen Jedi after an incident on Dxun.

Doesn't she look like Ella? I am thinking of the same melodies that were played while Circe and Alicia danced united by their perfected rule. . .

With one arm Her picked up Lyssara while draping the Nightsister to hold onto her and muttered: "That won't keep it trapped for long. We have to move. Hold onto me, and move like your life depends on it."
Together they left the open cell block, and the one half of Onrai to think about who she had seen while the other fought off artificial intelligences, slicers, and the nefarious Fifth Wing, who were still on board despite Mecetti's evacuation order.

Maldor nodded, and then motioned to the com officer to close the channel. The giant blue head of the Captain faded away, leaving Maldor to look at the starry expanse littered with tiny bright spots of danger.

"All elements, move on ahead at full speed," Maldor said, "take protective positions around his vessel. Fighter screens, take the lead. It won't be long before the enemy takes runs at us."

The ships of his force surged forward, and the tiny figures of their starfighter squadrons raced on ahead. The Legion kept its place in the rear, but kept pace with the other capital ships.

"Sir, the enemy forces are launching a vast amount of starfighters. They are also firing massdrivers. Some kind of EMP warheads."

Maldor's face looked like he had tasted something bitter. "Analysis?"

The tactical officer spoke up, "Our Interceptors outclass their fighters and their interceptors in maneuverability. But they are significantly more numerous, and some of them outclass us in speed. They have excellent weapons systems. We might be a match for them, but they outnumber us by a significant margin.

If the situation were different, I wouldn't recommend going head-to-head against them.

As for the massdrivers... we have Ion shielding to protect from EMP effects, but those massdrivers present a special danger. They aren't likely to be stopped by point-defense systems. They are also more likely to penetrate shields and detonate inside the hull. It'll likely take several volleys, but once those massdriver warheads break through, we'll start losing systems quickly.

It's going to be rough going, Sir."

Maldor nodded, "We've had it rough before. Break off the Blastboats, send them to make landfall. If we lose everything else in this battle, we can't lose the Empress. But I don't think things are quite that dire. Not with this unexpected flanking force spoiling the Diarchy's day." He gestured to the Dark Empire ships, distant twinkling forms.

The Tactical officer nodded, then spoke up again, "The Manticore is powering up tractors, I believe they intend to interfere with the main enemy fighter formation."

Maldor reached up to stroke his chin, then nodded, "Good. The enemy fighters will peel off from those tractors. Inform our Interceptors to pick them off as they make their evasions. It might give our forces an edge, at least until the enemy regains equilibrium."

The comms officer spoke up, now. "The Phalanx and Relentless are taking some spillover fire, my Lord. This is expected to worsen as they close in to their protective posture around the Manticore."

Maldor nodded. This was merely the faintest taste of the buffet of pain they were about to endure.

"Let's take more of their interest. Order all ships to fire Assault missiles at any enemy ship utilizing those massdriver cannons. If we can take enough threat off of the Manticore, then we can spread the enemy fire across the fleet instead of seeing it concentrated where it may do them the most good."

TL;DR
- The Mecetti Fleet advances. The starfighter elements race ahead of the rest of the ships, trying to catch some enemy fighters as they evade the Manticore's tractor beams. The Blast Boats divert to the planet. The Mecetti cruisers begin to catch random spillover fire as they close in towards the main battle. They and the Legion fire their assault missile launchers. (Roughly 272 missiles, not utilizing those aimed at the Legion's aft quarter.)

Zara raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow, the corner of her lip twitching in amusement. "Such theatrics." she purred, dismissing the guards with a flick of her wrist. "Go assist with the perimeter. Find the other one. I'll handle our… guest." The guards hesitated, glancing at each other, but Zara's steely gaze brooked no argument. They dispersed, leaving Zara alone with the imposter.

She reached for a pair of energy cuffs from one of the departing guards, their familiar weight grounding her. This Amina was a whirlwind of suggestive banter and misdirection, but Zara saw through the smoke. This was a coordinated operation, and the other so-called student, was likely with her as well.

Zara stepped closer, her voice dropping to a husky whisper that was almost intimate. "You're right, 'Amina' isn't your name. And while I appreciate the...offer...of entertainment, frankly, my time is far too valuable for games. So, tell me, what is your name? The real one? The one your handlers know you by when they debrief you on your little charade?"

She took another step, closing the distance between them. "And don't worry." Zara's smile was a flash of predatory charm. "I'm sure we can find a way to make this…interrogation… mutually enjoyable."

With a sudden, fluid motion, Zara reached out, aiming to clasp the energy cuffs around Iellax's wrists. "Let's not make this difficult, darling. We have a city to save, and i'm sure the Diarchy will be very interested in what information you have to share."

Everything is happening too fast. My vision is blurry, sounds reach me muffled, and when I try to move, my legs give out beneath me. Standing still for too long has cost me more than I expected. And as if that weren't enough, someone else has just entered the room.

Through the haze of my still-imperfect sight, I catch a fleeting expression on my companion's face. Distorted. Instinctive. She knows this person.

While they clash, I let myself slide down against the wall, just outside the cell. My breath comes in short gasps, but I take this moment to refocus. Slowly, the shapes around me become clearer. The outlines of the surroundings gain definition. Then, I finally make out what is scattered across the corridor floor. A massacre.

Scattered soldiers' bodies, fresh blood. A carnage I can only despise. Even if they were enemies, their deaths are a waste a loss of too many potential test subjects, gone forever. Here, no one is to be trusted. My gaze drifts back to the cell I just left. The girl I had seen is now trapped inside, ensnared in stasis. She seized her chance for revenge. But in this tale, who are the true traitors? Who are my allies? Why is she the one who came when we belong to opposing factions? A familiar pressure rises within me. Panic, insidious. A voice I thought I had silenced rises once more in my mind. My still-fragile vision threatens to turn red.

"I want to live."

No one is going to sacrifice themselves for me. I should run take advantage of the chaos, slip away, disappear. But my limbs feel heavy. My thoughts are sluggish. Creating a portal now would be suicide. I struggle to breathe without feeling as though my ribs might shatter I simply don't have the energy to escape. Her Her is focus on the girl who is in my last place.

I must be realistic.

If I run now, in this state, I will only end up being caught. Or worse. A long sigh escapes me. My fingers tremble slightly, and as my vision finally clears, I notice something among the corpses. A blaster. I bend down to pick it up, absentmindedly wiping away the thin layer of blood covering it. It's war. It makes sense that I should be armed. I lean a little more firmly against the wall, the weapon resting loosely in my hand. My heart still pounds in my chest, my breathing remains uneven, yet I do not move. Not for now. I wait, and then address her directly. I can taste metallic blood in my mouth, it's not very appetizing, my condition is really worrying, nyva is going to complain.

"Have you Finish? I don't know for you but i don't want explode with this stupid Ship. We need to go now. "

Especially since I have no idea how long the alarm has been blaring it certainly doesn't seem recent, judging by the chaos outside.

My communicator crackled suddenly, making me jump and nearly drop it. My heart was already pounding at an erratic pace, and Varis's voice did nothing to help.

I cast a frantic glance at the Solar Spectrum's control screens, my fingers slipping slightly on the controls due to sweat. Everything was ready. Everything had to be ready.

"Thrusters, shields, defenses, weapons… fuel check."

"Nyva, your stress levels are noticeable. Would you like me to dim the cockpit lights and play a soothing tune?"

Ada's voice too soft, too artificial made my skin crawl. If she had a physical form, I would have throttled her on the spot.

"Shut up, Ada. And focus on recalibrating the trajectories instead of feeding me your relaxation bullshit."

No response. Just a low electronic hum, which I knew meant she was deliberately ignoring me. Panic twisted my stomach. The alarm was still blaring in the distance, the echoes of gunfire and explosions reverberating through the ship's hull. My breath was too shallow. Too fast. My hands trembled as I powered up the thrusters, feeling the familiar vibrations shake the vessel. I needed to move. The repulsors flared to life, lifting the Solar Spectrum in a swirl of dust and ashes. I nearly clipped a ruined structure, correcting my course a second too late, and of course, Ada wasted no time in throwing a jab.

"Suboptimal altitude detected. Shall I take control before you crash out of sheer incompetence?"

I clenched my teeth, my fingers dancing frantically over the interface to stabilize the trajectory.

"If you had a head, I'd punch it."

This time, she didn't even bother replying. The hangar was close now a gaping rectangle, framed by flames and chaos. And there, standing tall in the middle of it all, was the Diarch. Unshaken. As if the raging hell around him was nothing more than an afterthought. I powered down the engines just before landing, my nerves frayed to their limits. As the ramp lowered in a hiss of steam, I was already gripping the controls, breath short, ready to take off the second he stepped on board. I reached for my comlink, speaking directly to the Diarch.

"We're ready, with Solar Spectrum Ship, what is our next order Master Rellik?"

Through the communication channel, Rellik could hear soft, relaxing music playing from the cockpit Ada's final act of defiance. I quickly shut it off with a flick of my fingers, sighing. I really needed to have that damn AI checked.

THEME

New-Eot-L-Divider.png

The Legion will be following us, I suggest that you turn bearing 22.5 and meet with the Moff's ship at this point providing our carrier a welcomed defensive boost as well as long-range fire covering myself.

Kato flicked his eyes over to Lt.Cmdr Carver. She nodded in understanding and began delivering the orders to the crew. A glancing blow from an ion blast knocked against the Gargoyle’s shields, creating a brief moment of static in the holographic transmission between the two captains.

"Once the cruisers reach me, we will begin pushing, much like our non-hostile participants, the Dark Empire, until I can target the Order's flagship with my Tractor Beam Array. Any questions?"

“No, no questions Captain. Moving into position now,” Kato replied in affirmation. In reality, he did have a question that weighed on his mind. Captain Von Strauss’ father was listed as a member of the delegation that had accompanied the Empress on the surface. As of that moment, intel had no updates on his status. There was a deep unspoken worry on everyone's minds. Perhaps Augustus knew more but Kato didn’t want to broach such a personal subject while stress levels were already peaking.

“Cycle shields!” Carver shouted over the din of alarm klaxons as more ion blasts tested the limits of the Gargoyle’s defenses. As the crew braced at their stations under the bombardment, the Imperial fleet started their push forward.

“This is Anvil Leader,” the voice of a TIE fighter pilot spoke through the comm system at Kato’s station, “we’re facing heavy resistance. Anvils 3, 8 and 10 are down.”

“Detail the escort corvettes to advance ahead of the fleet and support the fighters,” Kato called to the crew. Battles always meant the loss of lives, yet even after having seen his fair share, the pain of losing soldiers continued to sting Kato’s heart. “Anvil Squadron, pull back to the corvettes. Cutlass Squadron, link up with Anvil. Dagger Squadron, screen the forward movement of the fleet.”

“Roger, Captain,” Anvil leader’s voice replied.

“Ready my personal fighter,” Kato said to Carver, “You’ll be taking command of the Gargoyle while I’m out there.” He turned with a flutter of his uniform cape and strode down the bridge bisecting the bridge command pits.

“What?” Carver frantically looked up from her tactical display. She hoped that she had misunderstood Kato’s words. He stopped and half-turned back to face her.

“Commander, we’re fighting for the life of the Empress herself. Regardless of how this battle ends, I will never be able to forgive myself unless I know I have done everything I could.”

“But-” Carver paused.

The two officers shared a silent moment amid the warning alarms. Being in the Imperial navy meant putting your life on the line. Secretly, she had felt that dying was somehow the duty of others, not herself. Until that moment. She suddenly remembered an old feeling; when she recited her oath of service upon graduating the academy. Looking into Kato’s eyes, the words of that pledge became manifest. He didn’t say anything more. He didn’t need to.

“Yes Sir,” she replied. Her gaze hardened with determination. Kato nodded. He knew his XO was a capable officer; not only in skill but also in spirit. Turning once more, he strode out of the bridge toward the docking bays.

System intrusions. Scylla AI Scylla AI and the work of The Lord of Hunger The Lord of Hunger and his KRONOS system. it was like a parasite within the possessed hulk of Onrai's ersatz 'body.' Onrai pondered momentarily over the correct solution, before deciding a two-factor solution as it stood. First, the self-destruct - Onrai secured control over it and, through the use of the Anti-Force, physically disabled the self-destruct. Wires were physically pulled or torn from detonating charges and the wire connecting the main processors managing the self-destruct to the alarms was physically separated. This ensured the salvation of the Quest and allowed Onrai's possession to focus more on the technical issue at hand - the two intrusive minds pressing against her.

"Alright then."

Through her total possession of the ship's systems, Onrai moved to force KRONOS and Scylla into conflict. The two systems would be shunted together, their codes pressed against each other within the ship's file repositories. This would, likely, force the two to clash with one another, allowing Onrai to start the process of using her control over the ship to begin returning flow from the reactor to the engines. In space, the Quest would cease being a derelict as it began to move, drives sputtering to life and the ship shuddering in response.

-

Onrai's torpid manifestation bashed against the walls of the ray shield in silence. The darkness within the vessel was palpably angered by the woman's attempt to trap it. The manifestation of Onrai threw itself against the ray shield and seemed to visibly disintegrate into nothingness, leaving the device active.

Then another manifestation coalesced, equally inhuman, equally comparative to the one that had been left like a genie in a bottle. Its essence poured from the ship's vents.

"Not yet... It's not over yet..."

She looked at the Nightsister as Her continued to pursue the escape path. "She's going to use you... be prepared for the betrayal!"

Ghostkey had no idea who to trust—none. No comms back still, no confirmation! Signal must have been blocked clean. All he knew was his Keyrunner stood between two people, not looking like she was in a rush to go with either. One of them actively tearing at his connection to the system, with some outside AI joining the assault. The other? Didn't look like your average first responder or medevac team either!

It was the attack on the AI that shattered the deadlock.

The Lord of Hunger The Lord of Hunger
One of Scylla's Hydra heads got savagely devoured by Kronos, cycle by cycle, its processing routines ripped apart. Splitting its focus across two opponents, it was a losing battle. Scylla's multi-threaded nature kept it breaking and replicating, trying to scatter itself into any exposed subsystem, a droid, datapad, stimcaf machine—two days from now, Credius or Kronos might find some dormant fragment waiting to run. Damn nuisance, really good coordinating turrets or worse though!

Onrai Onrai | The Lord of Hunger The Lord of Hunger
And then something shifted. All of its focus got yanked toward Kronos. Confused the hell outta the AI. Confused Ghostkey more, jacked into the ship. Confused the two slicers on their ship. And sure as hell did nothing to make them trust the stranger standing next to their Keyrunner. As they finally purged the virus from their own ship it left them with a barrage of questions still.

@All
Glade: "Uhh, guys? This ain't just some rogue data ghost or y'know AI—she's ridin' the current. Not a jacked-up signal. Feels like she's got hands in the wires, mind patched straight into the mainframe." Like the Undernet's nullframe abyss—slicer horror stories whispered when you were too fried or too drunk to stop your lips yapping.

Sickle: "She wanna be the ship? Let's feed her more ship than she can ever choke down." Their anarchist was burning hot.

Beat torching the whole system. A hard reset across multiple server rooms might've flushed her out, but it would've left them flying blind. Playing safe in a subsystem kept GK hidden, but did nada on taking the offense.

"Give me some cover. Keep the sensors jammed. And Glay-Glay—update a signal-free floorplan to my deck, yeah?" Free of operational cams and ghosted tracking, no-eyes. Hopefully, but forcers didn't need eyes.

Pulling deeper into the ducts, GK crawled forward. His one edge over the others was he was mobile on the deck. He wasn't trapped in the code, physically ghosting through the ship. Cramped in the vents, packed in as tight as some one-bed coffin hotel room. Kriff it, don't remind him of trying to sleep those nights.

Some Time Later…
Kicking down the vent from above.

Sickle: "New access point thirty meters, right side."
Glade: "Y'know… be careful n stuff."

GK grinned. Looked left. Right. Then dropped down, scrambling the door code to unlock it.
Dim lighting with most wires ripped, consoles burning and the cameras already static—Glade ran cover constantly, fuzzing his trace. But one access panel remained.

Total control, huh? Let's see.

Firing a ROGUE PROTOCOL.

Every system overclocked. Not just flooding Onrai or Kronos with data—drowning them. Redundant loops, false trails, junk code, every irrelevant or time-wasting program they'd stolen or coded from here to the undernet. The slicers spun the whole network into chaos. Doors snapped open and shut. Consoles flickered, blew out. Cameras twitched at random angles. Gravity might adjust—just enough to make standing still a pain in their butt, environments running colder or hotter at random.

A pure goddamn nightmare for Onrai Onrai to handle. And risky for the ship, yeah, but targeted. It wouldn't kill their mission—just force her to let go or drown in data, maybe jolt Her Her and The Lord of Hunger The Lord of Hunger while he was at it!

"Fed up with this fraggin' around. Let the Keyrunner go, or we torch this puppy."
Ouch, volume up too loud with the overclock, the whine of the internal comms blew out some ship speakers and bled into his visor's headset, a ringing in his ears following.

They wouldn't torch the ship, of course, a bluff to buy time. But staying jacked into his deck made him vulnerable. Eyes glazed, mind split between the digital fight and the physical world. Ghost was coming. No idea how he was gonna pull this off. Sound like an Amadis plan, yep, about right.

Zara excused the guards making the smirk on Iellax' lips grow. Not because she thought things were now easier, but because the Nagai had found someone that would make things interesting. Iellax never strayed from danger and was supremely confident in her ability to survive.

"Eager to have me to yourself? And bindings too???" the last was purred as sensuously as Iellax could manage. Which was easier now that she didn't have to temper flirtations because of Lissa's presence. "Don't recall expressing enjoyment of bindings," Iellax tisked, but willingly allowed the bindings to lock onto her wrists.

"You can call me Lax. I don't have a handler. If anything, it is I who does the handling. Just not good at all sitting on the sidelines. Always have to get involved in the mission. Sometimes I even let my agents have a little time off and go solo," Iellax replied, her grin shrinking a little. Zara most likely suspected Lissa was involved. Iellax would need to do what she could to keep the blonde woman's focus.

"My superiors usually only give directions and a long leash. I have a reputation for delivering results. I will restate that I was sent for information. So please let the fun commence. It will likely only help me in the long run."

The Diarch awaited his "Team" - a rag tag group of people he would be able to trust enough for a suicide mission. Hunkered in the fighter bay of the academy his thoughts weighed on him. "Lyssara, how much pain are you in. How much have I failed you."

The introspection only interrupted by a touch upon his shoulder.
Lord Dvasius said:
"Hello! I'm-"
"Whills be damned man!" The Diarch practically leaping back a foot as the new masked figure did the same. Introducing himself as Dvasius. The contact Varis mentioned before.

As he put forth this terms another ten dark clad robed men appeared. All showing no signs in the force of their presence and as quickly as they showed themselves, they vanished.

The Diarch was impressed. Relliks pre-governance position was one known for its shadow operations.

Gathering himself from the pant browning unveiling of his new partner the Diarch replied. Back straight and chest puffed with his arms behind his back in a show of peace.

"Your acceptance of the call is appreciated. As we push into the enemy ship any intelligence we recover on our end will be given to you. If not, when our torturers get their hands on the enemy, something you do not know will be brought to light. Either way, you will have your prize. I am a man of my word - This you will come to know."

Rellik gave a soft bow to his new ally. The ever statesmen.

-----------------------------------------------------------

His patience ran thin. An ache formed within the heart of his being that was originated from the promise of all Diarchy members. - Loyalty above all.

Lyssara awaited him, knew he would come for her. Yet he had not made his move yet.

Kallous Said:
"I was told you were here and came to request instructions."
"Kallous you cold bastard I could kiss you! Thank you for coming." The dichotomy between master and apprentice was evident as Rellik moved to give the man a hug, while the apprentice stood as a wall almost awkward in its reception, if not for already dealing with this type of behavior from his master for some time.

"My other apprentice and your counter part - Lyssara has been captured by the Empire of the Lost. I know that I do not directly ask of you much. Yet help me rescue her. It will be a mission filled with danger."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Standing in the center of the Hanger - Rellik had his two hands clasped behind his back and his head tilted upward. Eyes fixated upon the ship they were going to assault.

Without so much as blinking his eyes he stood resolutely as the solar spectrum landed. Only tilting his head back down as the ramp opened and Nyva Shei came out.

"We're ready, with Solar Spectrum Ship, what is our next order Master Rellik?"

Nyva - typically composed and beautifully kept in respect to Lyssara was looking distressed. The small tones of relaxing music coming from the cockpit, the Diarch deciphered she was probably as upset if not more so than he was.

"Everyone who is coming, it is time. No matter who or what we come across. For this mission - it is war. Kill everything that moves and once our High Councilor is saved I will come over the comms and we will exfil. Be quick, be lethal. - Now board."

With his command given he walked up the ramp. Only stopping to lean into Nyva's ear and thank her.

"Thank you Nyva. We will get her home."

At the top of the Ramp Rellik gave one last callsign to Varis. - A closed fist. Their plan was in motion and the time was now.

Dialogue
as laphistos attention was on the tac map his right ear perked up and swiveled towards the bridge officer as she began to speak " sir three corvettes and another star destroyer has dropped out of hyperspace on the side of the empire of the lost!"

with a small rumble laphisto turned his atenion o the map seeing the ships appear which caused him to frown slightly. Now things were starting to get out of hand. he couldn't afford any new reinforcements from either side coming in. and yet, they seemed to be pooling in from both sides

" have the Mass drivers on all ships switch from Ion rounds to armor piercing and high explosive. have all ships in the main fleet target the manticore with precise fire utilizing the LO-80H ion cannons the rapid fire should hopefully begin to overwhelm their shields. "

"Sir another barrage of missiles coming from enemy formations. LO-21H point defense cannons are activating but with reinforced fire from Maldors fleet a few shots are making direct shots against our Corvettes"

with a small rumble laphisto quickly dragged a few of the ships on the tac map giving the captains orders to maneuver to new designated locations. and the fleet began to comply moving forwards and tightening their spearhead around the Tracyn giving it cover from enemy fire. it was at this moment he half wished Missiles were incorporated into the Lilaste order weapon doctrine. though he had opted for every ship to be equipped with mass drivers instead. "keep the fire on the battle cruiser, continue to target weapon systems if possible. our goal is to push them into a retreat not destroy thier ship."

"Commander, reports indicate the enemy ship has activated a tractor beam. Our fighters are scrambling to evade, but it's forcing them into enemy crossfire. Orders, sir?"

Laphisto thought for a moment and then perked his ear softly " order fighters to stray from their squadrons and lure in enemies. have them utalize thier LO-RIDS systems." The battle was shifting unpredictably. He had planned for contingencies, but the chaotic ebb and flow was testing the limits of his strategic flexibility. Casualties were already mounting, and he needed to end this fight with as few losses as possible.

His thoughts were interrupted as another report came in.

"Captain Valik's shields have taken extensive damage. A sonic weapon disabled their primaries, forcing them into recharge mode. Their secondary shield held at sixty percent but was breached by two mass driver impacts. They're now running on backup shields."

A low snarl rumbled in Laphisto's throat as he expanded the tactical map, his claws tightening slightly as he analyzed the DE front. The lack of damage on that side was troubling. He had held back two Edaar-class Star Destroyers in reserve, but now it was time to commit them. With a few swift gestures, he dragged them forward, marking one of Marlon Sularen's Star Destroyers as their primary target.

"Deploy the Chali, and the Bv'iama to the front. Focus all armor-piercing slugs and ion cannon fire on that Star Destroyer. Hit them hard."

Turning to his left laphisto looked to his commander before then looking back at the tac map " commander tarian do you remember what happened over Draconia?" Tarian stiffened, his expression momentarily unreadable. He remained motionless for a beat before responding.

"Sir… you're not suggesting" laphisto rumbled out as he moved to pull up the stats of the heavy cruisers in the DE AO. "I am. It's our best chance to thin their numbers."

Bringing up the readout of the heavy cruisers within the DE area of operations, he pinpointed the ship with the most damage

"Contact the Xhika. Have them begin dumping all live rounds into the storage chamber. Order an immediate evacuation of the ship. Direct the crew to set detonation charges in the ammo stockpile and reroute system control to the Tracyn. We'll allow concentrated enemy fire to breach the shield's. The fore section and starboard wing. That should generate enough debris to mask the escape pods. Once in optimal range Ill detonate the ship myself."

Almost immediately after the order was given a holoprojector came online running the communication through the Trojan class frigate the Antilla and the Zabrak captain of the Xhika appeared " sir. are you suggesting using my ship as a bomb against the DE fleet?" Laphisto looked at the captain and raised a brow. " its not a suggestion captain its an order. get yourself to a life pod and await my signal"

the captain stirred lightly before looking to Laphisto and shakign his head " negative sir with all due respect. if this is to suceed the best chances are for manual detonat-" the captain was interrupted as laphisto growled slightly. his tail flicking behind him in agitation before reaching out with the force.

A brief flicker of resistance passed over the captain's face before his eyes unfocused. After a moment, he exhaled slowly and repeated the words. " you will abandon ship and await my signal." within a few moments the captain shook his head before repeating the words " i will abandon shop and await your signal" and within a matter of moments the signal was cut. the last thing he needed was more lives waisted. "direct ships on the DE front to target the outer ships on the formation with concentrated fire. have Ion cannons fire untill shields fall then move to the next ship in the line. start pulling ships away from the Xhika but make it look like a new formation. we dont want to give things away."

EOTL FLEET BATTLE BREAK DOWN
The fleet forms up in front of the Tracyn focusing fire upon the Manticor while successful in defending against the missiles from the foirst barrage the added fire support from meldors fleet quickly overwhelms some defenses allowing for direct hits on the corvettes. Lilaste order star fighters then begin to lure EOTL fighetrs to chase them before then flipping on thier axis while keeping thier forward momentum to then allow them to spin in place and target enemy star fighters. this maneuver allows them to shoot chasing enemy fighters but leaves them moving in one direction with only vertical and horizontal movement.
