Thrrrm. Thrrrrm. Thrrrm.

The lift quakes as a volley from the nearby star battle hits the broadside of the Quest
. Reaching out a hand to the nearby wall Her catches herself from a fall, and lifts herself back up to her full height as the emergency lights flicker. The soft thrrrrming sound of the turbolift begins to reach a fever pitch, and beneath the sound there is the soft hiss as the ventilation system is turned off. As they stare at each other, Her pouts her lips in contemplation of Thrynn and their response to her cryptic words.

"If only you could see what I have seen," Her mutters to herself as the cacophony of sound around them begins to break, and with a frightening whirring sound the lift reaches it's destination. The doors break open, and with a gasp Her finds fresh air to gulp in as the life support systems around them were torn apart by the raging battle of artificial intelligence fighting in the nether while new foes were thrown into a confrontation set to change their lives forever.

As the doors spring open Her glances upwards to see Diarch Rellik waiting for them on the other side, and she didn't need to be a Force-sensitive to tell that the man was filled with a malevolence that could only be inspired by a Sith Lord. With her free hand Her summons Lyssara up to her feet with the Force, and with the other she manoeuvres herself between the Nightsister, and Rellik by positioning herself behind Thrynn with her Lightsaber hilt held to her neck. A thumb rests against the ignition button, and it only takes one press to sever the indomitable bond between master, and apprentice.

Her said:
"Together, the Diarchy-- with us-- can achieve it's goals to bring order to this fractured galaxy. Will you join us?"

Around them the ship continued to quake as the battle waged on, and klaxons continued to roar on to induce the panic one must feel as the call to abandon ship had been made. Maldor Mecetti Maldor Mecetti 's glitched voice continued to repeat his instructions to escape, and beneath it all Her stood with Lyssara held hostage as she confronted a second Diarch. Reign, who had trusted his instincts, and saw through the lies of the dark side, had declined the offer made to him within the ASHLAN VAULT.

Would his brother make the same mistake?

"Diarch Rellik,"
Her said, and eerily on que it was as if all the sound of battle, alarms and the decree of the Quest's captain to abandon ship seemed to fade away replaced only by the voice of the Dark Lord of the Sith. "We have been expecting you." Peering around Lyssara to look into the eyes of the Diarch, Her whispered into Thrynn's ear: "Hold still. You're almost home."

The son inherits the sins of the father.

"The things we do for love, hm?" With a push Her guided Lyssara and herself out of the turbolift into the bridge. With a sinister hiss they instantly shut behind her, and the racket it began to make begun to grow distant as if it and the bodies inside had fallen quickly through the chute out into space.

"You look lonely. I can fix that."

Averting her gaze from Rellik back to Lyssara, with a cruel smile, Her says into her ear: "Look, Lyssara, look! It is the son of Kakus! Do you think he wants to know what happened to him?"

Suddenly the universe doesn't make sense. Life has suddenly got loud, and the war drums are banging. Da-dum-da-dum! Thump-thump! Thump-thump! The greatest man that Rellik had ever known was spoken, and His name had once rung supreme in the halls of Taris itself. Once upon a time The Brotherhood had roared his name at the advent of a final war to purge the Stars themselves of corruption. Screaming, roaring, a thunderous applause at the precipice of true revolution against the Jedi, and the Sith.

Time itself seems to have stopped. The bridge fades away into black, and there is only a Diarch, a Nightsister, and a fallen Jedi standing there as the name-- no, title, perhaps, the power?-- of Kakus is ushered out in this place of all places. A disturbance in the Force is felt within the halls of Crucible of Order, and from this moment on things have changed forever.

KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS!

Childhood awaits.

No. No, no, NO!

Something is wrong. Everything wavers around me, I'm falling no, floating no, I'm lost. There is no ground beneath my feet, no air in my lungs. I try to breathe in, but I only inhale emptiness, a void that suffocates me. I reach out a hand, my fingers clenching onto nothing. Nothing. There is nothing. Everything is fake. The bridge? Gone. The ship? Gone. Me…?

My heart pounds too hard, so hard it hurts.

I don't exist anymore.

"What did you do to me?!"

My voice trembles, strangled by a terror I refuse to name. This isn't real. This isn't real.

But then… why does it scream inside me? Why does my body feel so… foreign? As if I had been ripped from myself, thrown into a world that doesn't recognize me, that rejects me, that refuses me.

The Force. The Force doesn't answer.

A shiver of horror runs down my spine. I try to reach out, I try to grab something, anything, but it's like plunging my hands into black water with no bottom.

My voice chokes, echoing in a space without sound. I don't want to be here. I HATE being here.

My throat tightens, my lungs burn. I need air, but there is none. I clench my fists, so hard, so hard, but all I can feel is this endless sensation of falling, of total loss, of absolute emptiness.

The void.
I hate it.
I want it to burn.

"Bring me back!"

I am not something to be ripped away, to be tossed into oblivion. I am not a shadow drifting in space, a weightless, senseless silhouette.

I am here. I am HERE!

"I told you, bring me back now! "

My voice is a scream of rage and terror intertwined, a scream no one will ever hear. The void swallows me whole and I HATE it.

If I could tear it apart with my own hands… If I could tear YOU apart, Her… The void answers only with its relentless silence.

And that's the worst part.

All I can hear is that stupid "Kakus, Kakus, Kakus" on repeat, as if I care. As if I could care less. My master's origins mean nothing to me. He could be the last madman in the galaxy and it wouldn't change a thing. He is my master, and my loyalty to him is unshakable! That much is certain. She will pay for keeping me from reuniting with him.

The situation is getting critical. I expected it anyway of course, she was going to pull something like this. She is not my ally. She is my enemy.

"Let me go, you Crazy girl! I dont care the origin of my MASTER! Its MY MASTER "

I want to spit everything I feel at her, but her illusion has completely overpowered me. My heartbeat skyrockets until exhaustion takes over, and I finally lose consciousness, my body going limp.

I didn't appreciate being lifted like a worthless sack of meat, either. So my mind? It shut down in self-defense, sending me straight into blackness. She win this time, i am so tired and broken.

But now…

I can't hear anything.

I can't see anything.

I don't know what's happening anymore.

And if there's one thing I hate…

It's being trapped.

Her Her Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik

What am I supposed to do in a situation like this? I'm supposed to rescue her, but she's holding her hostage in some kind of illusion that's completely thrown her off reality. The terror on my mistress's face I don't like it at all.

My hand moves to my back, grabbing my sniper rifle. I take aim at Her, but I don't pull the trigger. The problem is, she could use Lyssara as a human shield if I decide to fire. At this precise moment, I could end up harming my mistress, and I know she'd never forgive me for that.

The situation is at a standstill. Unlike her, I can't teleport or act quickly. I don't have the same freedom of movement. And on top of that, I can feel the Diarch's rage from here him, who is usually so calm and composed, is now a magnet for fury. And in a way, I share his feelings. After all, it's my own mistress who is in danger.

I bite my lip. What should I do? Think, Nyva, think… What did she teach you in this kind of situation? I also have to stay alert to my surroundings there might be other enemies nearby.

For now, I keep my sniper aimed at Her, waiting for the right moment to act and seize an opportunity. Maybe I should act now, while she's busy torturing Lyssara? Her attention is elsewhere, focused on the Diarch.

Hmm. I decide to aim for the hilt of her weapon, taking a shot in her direction in the hopes of breaking her lightsaber, preventing her from using it to threaten my mistress. We'll see how she reacts to that shot, but through this, I've made it very clear that I completely disapprove of her actions.

"Release my mistress immediately, or next time, I'll put a bullet in your HEAD!"

As a threat, I couldn't be clearer. If my shot misses for try to destroy the light saber, well, I'll have it in the bone. I can always try a more frontal approach too. After all, I'm far enough away not to be caught in the illusion. I am a member of the rescue team so that's logic i was here. I take the solar spectrum for recuperate lyssara. I am not patient than lyssara or diarch rellik, when i want something, i take it by the force, that's lyssara teach me. Today i want the girl.

As quick as he was, the woman already had her blade at his apprentices throat. The sheer momentum of Rellik stopping in his tracks alone created a gust of wind as if the ships hull had been breached and all inside were about to be sucked into space.

"Diarch Rellik,"

All of the noise within the ship halted. Two forces above most had now met and the galaxy itself waited with baited breath to see what arose from this interaction between them.

The Lord did not respond. He simply looked at Lyssara and gauged her health now that he had to be stopped for a moment. As this new woman creeped out and showed her face from behind Lyss and spoke - he simply tiled his head and locked eyes with her. His anger at seeing his apprentice in duress and with her life on the line filled him with the want to kill. His sand colored eyes burning in rage.

"We have been expecting you."
You're almost home."

As the two stood off, it was Nyva who broke the tension. Raising her rifle and taking in the situation. Rellik did not think she would shoot but he could feel she was scared and as angry as he was.

Than the bolt rang. Relliks feet began to move in a subtle yet powerful shuffle. Leaving himself the ability to take off as fast as he could muster - yet the Sith behind Lyssara simply moved slightly and let the bolt pass by. Rellik was on a knifes edge as he feared for the worse but than froze again as he saw the Siths reaction.

"The things we do for love, hm?"

The confident power and deliberate nature of this new enemy was something to admire. She did not take the drastic action as the final action. She had more in store for this meeting. She even moved towards him. Letting the turbo lift fall away behind her as she stepped unto the command deck. Ensuring what would happen here would be the final moment.

In anguish Rellik clenched his fist around his blade. He was ready for war! If Lyssara had been killed due to the action, he would have slaughtered all aboard this ship. Even if ensuring the last person was destroyed meant he would be as well in the ships self destruct.

Yet this seemed deeper than the actions of another marauder.

So instead of being a mindless brute, Rellik composed himself; straightening his posture and clasping his hands behind his back. His normal stance when handling royal delegations or formal meetings.

"Await my orders Nyva."

He closed his eyes and let out and exasperated sigh.

"You look lonely. I can fix that."

A smirk formed on his lips at her comment. His head still tilted downward. Partially to control his rage.

"You hold my family's life in your hands, I want her released and home with us on Bastion. If you knew my father you would know what that entails."

"Look, Lyssara, look! It is the son of Kakus! Do you think he wants to know what happened to him?"

There was no denying it now. Whoever this woman was, she knew him. Knew his history, weaknesses and his very reason for being.

Than came a feeling all to familiar. The encroaching darkness that absorbed all within and dominated. The boy standing within the presence of his father as the people kneeled, cheered and praised him. The youth who had been taken to far off tribal worlds and heard the drumming of war as his father taught him how to lead, how to kill.

Da-dum-da-dum! Thump-thump! Thump-thump!

He was not lost, damned or dead. He was everywhere, like the force itself. - Rellik thought to himself.

Rellik put a hand to his head and arched his back slightly. As if feeling an immense pain within his head.

An all to familiar voice creeped over his shoulder and whispered into his ear to speak once more. A deep dark blackness edging his frame. Even more than the encroaching power around them all.

"Kill her, kill them all and drape yourself in their pieces. Move on from them and revel in your absolute power."

He had to shake it off. Move forward and ensure the safety of his family and those he loved.

KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS! KAKUS!

The words like a beacon of love replaced the beast on his back and as if he was held within a warm embrace he could feel him where the Monster once sat.

Rellik straightened himself but still looked disheveled and as if he had just finished an intense session of labor. A golden glow shining around him where once a deeper pit of black than that even of the fog that surrounded them in the force had been.

"You"

A wild, savage look was directed at Her - "You feel him here with us don't you."

No one besides Rellik had ever been able to invoke the spirit of his father. If Reign had, he never spoke of it. Something about this new woman was different. Was tied to him.

"You yearn to show me something. I wish to see it. Release my apprentice and you will have my trust. This entire game was to get us here. Do me this favor and I will help either free you from him or free him from you..."

He took a deep breath and gathered himself once more. The Monster was gone and his Father was with them. Neither the Whills of the force of the family of Mortis could alter their path now. Composed and returned to his old self he threw his de-activated blade at the feet of Lyssara. His destiny or the fate shared with his father meant he would be here now, with this person.

"I submit to your will, show me what you know of the disappearance of my father."

He gave a deep bow to his enemy.

Before raising himself he could tell that the Sith woman had pushed Lyssara Thrynn Lyssara Thrynn to Nyva Shei Nyva Shei

"Get her aboard the Solar spectrum and take her home Nyva... ensure she is okay. Please."

With those final words he straightened his back and locked eyes with the Sith.

Never looking back he calmly approached Her Her and the two of them walked away into the
darkness.

The journey to dive deeper into the fate of
Kakus - had begun.
