- Intuitive and sleek in its design, the Bridge of the Phantom Raven is designed so that it can be piloted by a minimum crew of two. Its primary controls are holo-interface, including the ship’s navigation, making them extremely intuitive to touch and even the slightest of inputs.
- Cozy but comfy, the Captain’s Quarters are designed with the ‘luxuries’ of space travel in mind. Although not super expansive, the room is the largest private quarter on the ship and has ample space for sleeping, dining, personal storage, and a workspace.
- Filled with any possible weapons, armor, or gear needed on a mission, the armory serves as the weapons depot of the Phantom Raven. - Stealth Running: The Phantom Raven is meant to have every sort of stealth package and advanced warfare package available in the Roble Manufacturing catalog. An SC2-41 Vidhar Cloaking Device provides it with a stable cloaking device that contours to the hull of the ship to create a smoother cloaking field that lessens the chance of detection, while an MXC-T22 Oberyn Stealth Shroud is able to shield the frigate from virtually any form of sensor detection.
- Hard and Fast: The speed, maneuverability, and offensive capability of the Phantom Raven all work to make it a ship that hits hard, hits fast, and is able to be home in time for dinner. Despite its small size, the Phantom Raven most notably sports two LS1 Hailfire Missile Launchers, which paired can launch almost three-dozen assault concussion missiles, enough to potentially wipe out a small fleet.
- Point Defenses: The Phantom Raven has no point defenses to speak of, and with a smaller-than-average hangar complement it can be at a disadvantage when faced against numerous small craft.
- Weapons Hot: Due to the need to manage power consumption, the Phantom Raven is unable to run it’s stealth systems while any weapon systems are active. This forces the Phantom Raven to choose whether to fight or hide and means that stealth systems first must be deactivated before any offensive armaments are fired.
The silent killer. The stealth runner. Ships like the Phantom Raven have gone by many names and designations, but they all have been equally feared in the galaxy. The ability to attack an opponent from a vantage point gained unseen and unheard is a threat unparalleled by almost any other. And the Phantom Raven is by far the most advanced ship of its class yet.
Built for speed, stealth, and to be able to deliver a massive blow against any enemy, the Phantom Raven is indeed a phantom ship. It’s Vidhar Cloaking Device conceals the ship from detection when active, and if that wasn’t enough, an Oberyn stealth shroud renders the frigate virtually invisible to every type of sensor. On top of that, the ship features top-notch maneuverability thanks to its intuitive holo-navigation interface and is able to accelerate to very high speeds.
It does fall short in some areas -- it has a less-than-desirable hangar complement, and the added combination of no point-defenses means that when faced against a large number of small fighter craft the ship can come up short. But, altogether, the Phantom Raven is a ship that if used correctly, can devastate entire fleets. It is the shadow in the night. It is the bird that forewarns doom.
