Objective: Shoot Shit, no specific location

"Bloody hell..." Carlyle muttered, taking one last drag of his cigar as the gunship's doors slid open. He tossed the thing into the wind and moved his hand to his SR4 which hung loosely at his side, going down the side of his ribs was a holstered DL-44 blaster pistol, an heirloom of sorts. This, along with a simple vibroknife and his Alpha 7 armor, minus the helmet, his hat was far to precious for him to wear a damned useless helmet.

"Sir, one minute out!" One of his men called to him, giving him a reassuring nod before turning back to his spotter. Bowman and Frog were their call signs, his snipers, the two men who he could rely on to watch his arse as he descended into the hell that would become Ossus in a matter of minutes.

JEDI ACADEMY RUINS
Meta's gunship had touched down a few metres from the jedi academy. His gunship sending out a become for group Zulu to arrive here. Group Zulu consisted of clones. Twenty Six of the Thirty gunships that had arrived where near ready to touch down beside the academy. Each carrying at least six-eight clones, Meta's objective was to retake the academy with the forces that had been assigned to his task, and then flank the jedi library and corner the sith forces. Meta leapt from the gunship, noticing @[member="Diana Moridena"] a few metres ahead of him as rain began to fall. "Diana.." Meta used the force to contact her, the clones dropping out beside him as six more drop ships fell in behind him, more and more troops climbing out, then another three dropships and so on and so on. "I thought they told you to wait until I arrived before trying your hand at the temple.." Meta said, he understood it was personal. But, she couldn't take them all on; not on her own.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Dragonsflame's Gunship, entering Ossus LZ

Tracyn held the helmet in his hands, the T-Shaped visor. He reached to one of the pouches around his waist, some empty, but some filled with some things that he would need for the battle. He sat in Josh's gunship, glancing to the various troopers. He pulled out a small amount of chalk and paint, and dipped his finger into it, tracing a small image onto the helmet. He dipped his other finger into the chalk, tracing around the edges of the painting. When he was finished, there was a massive visage of a skull onto his helmet. He stood up after a moment, and slid on the helmet. If Tracyn was putting on his helmet, he was wearing it solely because he needed to keep himself alive, and that he intended a massive fight. He stood up slowly, sliding his crushgaunt back on. He removed a small carbine from the weapons rack, strapping it across his back in lieu of a jetpack. He rolled his neck at Josh's speech, bouncing up and down, and twirled his lightsaber in his hand. The skull on his helmet clearly marked his purpose here, he was not here to be a peacekeeper. He was here to eliminate Sith, to exterminate a threat so great to the galaxy that it required his inner darkness to be released. Tracyn was by no means a good Jedi, no less a good man. He had killed, maimed, burned and torn everything and anything all across the galaxy, and now it was simply being put forth towards the Sith. He turned towards Josh, and then hoping that his Padawan, @[member="Grisham Martyr"], had also made it onto the gunship. The man needed some real-world experience, some actual combat. And this was the perfect place to do it.

He slid upwards to a stand, grasping unto the railing, and turned toward Josh. He placed a hand on his shoulder, he knew what Josh was going through. He hated that his friend had to do it as well.

"Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad kyr'amur, Josh. Sa...dar'jetii."1
Basic Translation:
1. Today is a good day for someone else to die...like Sith.
Tracyn is being passively humorous, in a dark way.

Inside The Great Jedi Library

At this point the ancient had dispatched the remaining of the ambush at the front doors. He stood before them and extended a hand on the surface conjuring the Force. The doors began to tremor and with an immense blast of energy the master blew the doors open; pacing slowly through debris and rubble. His pupil slit as he sensed a sudden disturbance in the Force. It was a power he was very familiar with that he encountered through the centuries. Where did the user learn such an ability after so many generations he thought. He savoured the darkness that came from it and half smirked as though he had endured this quite naturally before. He consumed it and absorbed it with an innate resistance to it. The culprit was close. He sensed it. His eyes shifted once more as he searched the interior through the will of the Force until he caught a unique Force signature. He began to walk forward again cautious but with a nonchalant stride. His whisper slithered into the wavelengths of the Force as he spoke.

"Force Insanity? Very, very good. Who taught you this secret, comrade?"

If he were to continue to press forward on his resistance it would attempt to shake the user from sustaining his concentration from the dreaded curse. In exchange, he chose to stall and study the user instead.

Landing Site. South Of The Great Jedi Library.

He gave @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] a nod, before turning to his troops.

"Listen up folks! Whether you're man, woman or clone... We all have one objective here! We're going to fight our way to the Great Jedi Library! That seems like the best place to start, and likely where many of the Sith are hiding! I assume it'll be heavily guarded, as will the path there, so shoot first and ask questions later!"

Odd words for a Jedi, but with Sith, in a war setting, there was no longer room for hesitation. DragonsFlame was growing up in front of their very eyes.

"And with that... We ride! For the Republic!" he commanded and began the march. With the Grand Admiral at the forefront, Tracyn Ordo at his left, Josh extended his senses to their surroundings... Trying to sense the enemy, or anything dangerous that might be in their vicinity... It would not be wise to allow the Sith to ambush them.

Jedi Academy

The battle had begun, and Saran grimaced. Her wounds from the last time she had fought Sith still stung. Pain would not help her, nor would the knowledge that she may fight more powerful opponents here. However, she had been tasked with a squad, and as long as she could help it, they would make it through alive. However, as AA fire shook the skies, the gunship went down. Bracing for impact, she watched in horror as the ship's crash killed them. And she was trapped.
Injuries? Left arm. Deep. She touched the back if her head. The hand came away bloody.
Pulling out a comlink, she said to the other Jedi in the area: "@Diana Moridena? @Meta? It's Saran. Gunship's down. I'm hurt. Bad.e Cut to arm and head's bleeding."

Heading for the Temple

Yusan looked down as his blade plunged into the chest of the man he stood over and withdrew it, his eyes flickered up behind the visor of his helmet. "Not even half way yet, Feth." The words rang in his mind as the Force Insanity that the Emperor was sending out to the republic force's minds started to take root, but it was so subtle that Yusan didnt notice, the thoughts of blood-lust and revenge, of hate and anger had already clouded his judgement enough and had caused him to kill those that threw down their weapons to surrender. This was his chance to harm the Sith openly, nothing would be holding him back, and with those thoughts brought the vulnerability that the Force Insanity had taken root in. Now it was just a matter of time before it increased, and consumed his mind.

Until then though he moved to the next target, and away from the now approaching Graug. He had seen them fight before, and was determined not to see them up close, much less on the opposite end of his saber in a fight. Instead he choose the target of a Sith trooper, one barely out of basic probably. The trooper fired off a volley at Yusan, who lazily deflected the shots and closed the distance slowly, until he was withing a meter of the man. Apparently this man mistook him for a Jedi, as the first words to leave his mouth were simply. "I surrender i surrender, please dont kill me Jedi."

This only prompted a laugh from Yusan who leveled the blade to the cowering man's shoulder until a sentence left his mouth through the mask's breather. "I am no Jedi, and you joined the wrong side to ask for mercy." He brought the blade up as the man screamed one last time before bringing the blade back down across his chest and immediately searching for his next target, no one would stop him from getting to his objective today.

Saran undid the wrappings on both her arms. Using what was left of the cut up one, she bound her left arm. With the right one, she attempted to do the same with her head, and it seemed to work, hut she needed it to cover more. She took off her eye covering off and wrapped the makeshift bandage around her eye sockets, until they were covered. Sighing, she clipped her shoto to her belt. The Pain in her arm became stronger, and she laid her head back, considering entering a healing trace. But the wound, now sharply stinging and forcing her to sit up, dissuaded her. She needed to remain conscience. Focusing on that, she waited for rescue

Jungles On the Outskirts of the Jedi Ruins
Blaster fire rang out throughout the jungles as survivors fro crashed gunships and shuttle were engaged by the Graug forces moving towards the Jedi Ruins. The Graug were ruthless in their attack, the wounded who feel were pinned to the ground by duraplast boots and executed by a hail of blaster fire. The more unlucky soldiers were caught in hand-to-hand combat with the Graug warriors who would quickly draw their barbaric, curved blades and dig them into any exposed areas they could find. Blood covered the ground in dense puddles and the screams of the dying rang throughout the thick jungles. Krag relished in the resulting dark energies, his eyes focused on a nearby shuttle where the last of the nearby Republicans had taken up shelter. Marching forward with the red glow of his saber illuminating his form in the shade of the jungle trees, Krag drug his weapon's blade across the ground and caused small sparks of flame to ignite and start crawling up the vines and roots of the trees.

A squad of Graug tried to rush the shuttle, but a Jedi Padawan hidden inside quickly dispatched them with a throw of her saber. Krag cared not for the fall of his warriors, it was their purpose in life to die for him and the causes he serves. All Krag cared about at the moment was slaying those that now stood before him. As the Sith approached, he was pelted with blaster fire that he easily blocked with swings of his saber. What he couldn't deflect impacted the durasteel plates and had minimal effect on his advance. Forming a ball of fire in his hand, Krag launched an attack at the surviving Republicans by first hurling the ball of flame into one of the soldiers and then charging right at them.

The soldier who was hit the fireball was instantly killed by the heat and the rest soon followed in death at the edge of Krag's lightsaber. The Jedi Padawan swung hard at Krag, but the beast easily blocked the saber and then forced it from the Jedi's hand with brute strength. The saber flew off into the darkness and Krag, using nothing but his natural strength, thrust his palm into the lightsiders throat and gripped down hard around her windpipe. The Jedi's eyes bugged out as Krag's razor sharp claws dug through her flesh and severed multiple blood vessels before cutting her esophagus to ribbons. The feel of the warm flesh was euphoria for the Graug, his adrenaline racing as he felt the life slipping away from the young one. As the blood squirted across the jungle floor, Krag hissed into the Jedi's face "Yes Jedi...die...you and everything you Jedi hold dear exists only to burn and now...you will serve as the first trophy of many." lifting the girl into the air and off of her feet, Krag looked her dead in the eye and then swung his saber.

The lifeless body of the Padawan fell to the ground, but her head stayed firmly in Krag's grasp. The beast had decapitated her right above the collarbone and now he laughed in his deep, malevolent voice. As the blood dripped fro the lifeless skull , Krag raised it high in the air for all of his men to see and roared in victory. All the Graug present around the shuttle gave out war cries just the same. Taking a rope from a pouch in his armor, Krag tied it to the slightly protruding spinal cord of the neck and then to the side of his armor so that the gruesome trophy hung at his side.

Turning back to the Jungle, Krag saw that the Jedi Ruins were not far from his current position and this made him grin. Taking a few incendiary grenades from his pouch, Krag threw them far into the jungle. Each grenade exploded into a flurry of fire that caught surrounding trees aflame, the beginnings of a great forest fire around the temple. Turning to his army Graug gave his command "Light the jungle aflame! Burn all that burns and give me strength!"

With that, the Graug went to work and began throwing incendiaries and lighting fires all about the jungle. The Glycons also began to fire incendiary shells from their mass-driver cannons. The shells impacted all around the jungle, starting a massive fire that would quickly engulf the trees and shrubbery surrounding the Jedi Ruins.

Ossus|Forest/Jedi Academy|Helping Saran
With a flourish the radiating blue blade of Tyr-Kyr's lightsaber sliced through the armored plating of a Sith Trooper. From the looks of things the crash site had been secured and the Jedi would next proceed into the temple in hopes of securing the age old secrets that lay hidden there. Tyr-Kyr was preparing to move nearer to Master Daella, yet a transmission rang out on one of the downed republic soldiers ComLink. "It's Saran. Gunship's down. I'm hurt. Bad.e Cut to arm and head's bleeding." Though Tyr-Kyr knew not who Saran was, she must have been a Republic ally to be on that frequency. "Master Daella," Tyr-Kyr spoke as he slowly approached her. "I will go to the aide of the injured woman. I'll try to catch up with you at the Temple." Bowing, Tyr-Kyr took off through the forest in hopes of avoiding conflict while he was alone.

The forest was, as Tyr-Kyr had hoped, mostly undisturbed. There were a few scouts in the area but Tyr-Kyr was able to slip by unnoticed he believed. He tried to make haste not knowing the severity of the injured woman Sarans wounds, yet he also did not want to rush headlong into a contingent of Sith troops. Tyr-Kyr began to near the edge of the forest where texted Jedi academy lie after an unknown period of time had passed, and stopping just before the forest ended Tyr-Kyr surveyed the area. There were Republic forces here already, yet the Sith presence seemed to be growing. Taking out the ComLink Tyr-Kyr called. "Saran, this is Tyr-Kyr Magnus of the Order. What is your location." Tyr-Kyr then began moving towards the ruins, hoping he had made it in time.

Republic shuttle, Ysannan mission
Ella Nova approached the shuttle and climbed up it's ramp, entering the confined space to find her friend and fellow Jedi Padawan, Sochi Ru, waiting for her and Aika Kawakami. "Hey Sochi. It looks like I'll be going with you and Master Kawakami. How do you feel? Are you alright?" She gave her friend a reassuring smile before laughing. "Hey, that control training we did back on Coruscant will helpful in this, eh?" Her smiled faded quickly, however. They were in the middle of a war zone, or would be soon anyway. Although they wouldn't be assisting the main fight, not at least until they managed to convince the Ysannan to join them, their participation in the battle might be crucial.

She wore Jedi Armor underneath the long, brown cloak that she had worn since she had left the Tython Jedi Temple a few months ago, after entering into her Padawanship with Carn Dista. She wondered where her Jedi Master was now. Probably on the front lines with the other Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters, especially due to his specialty with Juyo. Her involvement in Liberation of Ossus had come quickly and so they hadn't had a chance to wish each other luck or goodbye. She hoped to at least see him during the fighting, to make sure he was okay. Folding her hands into her sleeves, she waited for Aika Kawakami to arrive so they could begin their mission. She gave Sochi a wink before closing her eyes and entering an Empty Meditation. It would help her focus on the objective at hand.

In da Jungles, Da mighty Jungles outside the ruins

Ravage stood by at his father's feet, watching and waiting. Tendrils flailed wildly from his back and his teeth dripped with acidic saliva. His growling was low and deep and his eyes never left the jungles before him. "Rend and tear..." he hissed. The sound of his voice sounded like an abomination's growl. That's what he was and all he would be: an abomination.

Ravage listened as his father spoke to his fellow Graug. He did not make a move, not one muscle. He just sat there and listened. Then, Ravage joined his father in the jungles. His roar as he leaped through the foliage was loud and vicious. Ravage's claws dripped a severe poison that was deadly to the touch and the acidic saliva that flung from his maw as he ran burned through everything it touched. There will be blood this day, there will be death, there will be carnage...

"Rend and TEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR"

Near the Temple, in the burning area

Yusan watched as the flames engulfed the area to his right and to his left, they were every where and a voice told him to use them. After all, he had just disarmed the trooper infront of him, quite literally, and with a push and a bit of force energy the man flew into the burning foliage, his screams piercing through the sounds of battle. Yusan's mind urged him to stop, this wasn't him after all. He wasn't a Sith, he knew the value of mercy, yet he couldn't stop himself and he had only gotten closer to the source of the Force Insanity, causing his actions to grow further unnatural for him and for those actions to become increasingly darker.

As more fires erupted he navigated his way through them, cutting down anyone in his way, and sadly, anyone included and unfortunate republic soldier whom Yusan had mistaken for a Sith. But the chaos was everywhere and the fires only increasing, Yusan was so close to the temple now, and then he would be ready to truly combat those that he wanted to fight. Until once more a Sith soldier got in his way, the man let off a volley of blaster bolts at Yusan and that only made him annoyed. Taking a series of steps towards the man, never slowing as he deflected the volley Yusan send a wave of force energy to the man's chest and knocking him to the ground.

Deactivating his saber Yusan walked over to the man and grabbed his throat, using both his own strength and a bit of force augmentation Yusan lifted the man by his throat and walked over to the fire, removing his mask with his free hand and looking at the man's eyes. "Remember who it is that killed you, and dont forget that this is retribution for all the lives the Sith you serve have ruined." He slowly walked forward, still holding the man's neck in his grasp before letting go as Yusan reached the edge of a roaring fire and kicking the man into it. Watching as he fell back into the foliage and erupted with it. Anyone that saw this would know that something wasn't right, and his actions were all due to the Force Insanity that had taken hold of him now.

Crashed Gunship, Outside the Academy

Saran startled as the comlink came to life. "I... I'm not sure. Less than a kilometer from the Academy's front entrance. Can you heal? I've got a nasty cut to th we back of my head that may need some help." Saran forced back the black waves of unconsciousness that pushed her vision. "Nice to see another padawan out here."

Republic Shuttle
Ysannan Mission

Sochi was relieved to see that Ella had arrived. After she finished reviewing her notes she had started to become quite restless. She knew that their objective was very crucial, and they couldn't fail. She looked up and took on a warm, welcoming smile, "Ella oh how good it is to see you, especially at a time such as this, I feel fine, just a little anxious, but I'm sure that'll go away in time. I'm glad that you'll be accompanying us." She said softly, smiling still. She remembered back to when they both had trained together, it would seem they were right to do so. "Yes, I think we were smart to do that. I think that'll put us ahead of the game." She said chuckling softly. It was nice to see that not all of her friends had taken to fighting on the front lines.

They were only moments from taken off, and she looked around the ship they would be taken she look amongst the small group of troops they had, and now her friend who sat across from her, in meditation. She had come to terms that not everyone was going to make it out of this. That was the reality of it, but they all had a duty to do and that was enough for her. She too took to Empty meditation, it would help with centering herself, and releasing any negative emotions.

Jedi Academy

Arcturus's lightsaber sliced through a Republic soldier, nearby he heard something crash into the jungle. Cutting through another man The Sith stopped only to speak to his soldiers at the AA emplacements. Arcturus activated his communicator, and keeled down behind a fallen tree to avoid blaster fire. "This is Procyon, whats the situation." He asked. One of the soldiers at the AA emplacements came through. "We're under fire, but so far we've held them. A shuttle went down not far from your position. It was not a solid hit, possibly survivors." The Sith Apprentice nodded, likely the crash he heard earlier. "I'll check it out, Procyon out."

It only took a few moments to find the gunship that had crashed. As he approached the Sith realized the fallen gunship had a Jedi trapped inside. He jumped and landed on the ruined remains of the gunship, then plunged his lightsaber into the roof. After a moment the red blade had sliced a hole through the gunship. Using the force to move the chunk of metal he cut away, then Arcturus looked down at @[member="Saran Drast"]. She was wounded, and the Sith had little use for an injured foe. He pointed his lightsaber at the girl. "Time to die Jedi."

Republic shuttle, Ysannan mission.
Ella opened her eyes, finishing her Emptying Meditation. The negative emotions she had felt, mostly radiating from the soldiers under the command of the Jedi Order, were gone. She too knew that not everyone from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was returning with her, Sochi and Master Kawakami. Her thoughts turned to Carn again and she felt a pang of loss from the thought of him dying. She turned her thoughts back to the present. No use getting worried over nothing.

"Kit check, ladies and gentlemen," she said to the amassed soldiers that would be accompanying the three Jedi to the Ysannan settlements. She gave each of them a reassuring smile and patted two to three of them on the shoulder as she walked among them. She felt their spirits soar. Jedi tended to have that kind of effect on another.

Saran reached out and flipped the activation switch on @[member="Arcturus Procyon"] 's lightsaber. The trick worked on most occasions, as long as she could surprise them with it. However, Saran activated her lightsaber to deflect strikes, just in case. She could hardly fight in her current condition. She hoped @[member="Tyr-Kyr Magnus"] got here soon. She would need the help.
"Not yet"

Ossus|Jedi Academy|Helping Saran

"Less than a kilometer away....well that doesn't really narrow it down." Tyr-Kyr thought to himself as a faint redish glow began to illuminate the forest behind him. "..Fire.." Tyr-Kyr said as he turned to gaze at the thick black clouds of smoke pouring from between the trees like an eerie fog. He shook his head and remembered the task at hand. She was close by because Tyr-Kyr could see the entrance to the Academy, but with all the people around and the increasing blaster fire in his direction Tyr-Kyr couldn't calm himself enough to locate Saran using the force. "I don't know how to heal," He spoke through the ComLink. "but if we reach the dropships by the academy entrance someone should be able to help." He was interrupted however by a series of blaster fire in his direction. One or two Tyr-Kyr could easily handle but there were many Sith Troopers bearing down on him, and he hadn't the skill or energy to deal with them.

Tyr-Kyr believed he would be killed for a moment, but just as soon as the Sith Troopers had came upon him they were gone. For a squad of Clone Troopers engaged them and dispatched them with their superior numbers. "Are you ok master Jedi?" The commander of the Clones spoke as he and his men approached Tyr-Kyr. "Yes thank you commander, im looking for an injured Jedi girl. Her ship went down around here, have you seen her?" The clone shook his head before continuing to speak. "No sir, a dropship was downed north of here around half a kilometre from here towards the start of the engagement. Perhaps she's there." Tyr-Kyr nodded and thanked the men before continuing to the location the commander had mentioned.

Tyr-Kyr had arrived at the wreckage of the ship. It was quieter here, but he could not find Saran. He looked around and found traces of blood leading off a ways from the wreck. "Saran!?" Tyr-Kyr called loudly as he continued searching for the Padawan.

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
Republic Shuttle; En Route to Yassan Settlement

Aika could do little but remain calm as she looked over the ongoing preparations on the shuttle. It was the first time she would be assisting with anything of this nature, especially without Master Ike with her. It seemed that in time, she'd gone from being the strange and quiet knight who garnered odds looks, to being thrust into the heat of things, It was all so...strange, not to mention happening so quickly. Her eyes trailed of the soldiers who were accompanying them to the settlement. how long had it been since she'd seen such weapons and armor? It was almost too much. To add to it, her concentration had become severely split. Thoughts from the soldiers were beginning to slip into her mind, and all at once. It was like hearing a hundred voices directly into your ears.

To make matters worse, she figured out something that caused her to close her eyes and and bang her head back against a wall of the shuttle as she leaned against it. Both Ella and Sochi, who had also been assigned to head to the settlement, were not knights as she was. They were padawans. Which meant that Aika was actually leading this expedition. She was ranked higher than both of the girls, and a Jedi, which meant the soldiers fell under her command. Her command? This was getting to be too much by the moment. Just how was she to handle all this?....
