MISSION BRIEFING​

Summary: Deep within the jungles of Florn, a remote and treacherous world on the fringes of Sith space, lies a long-forgotten monument to the dark side: the Florn Sith Archives. Only days ago, the Sith Overseer of the Archives was assassinated in a brutal Kaggath by a rival lord seeking to claim dominance.

In the resulting power vacuum and infighting, the Archives' existence was exposed. The local Jedi Watchman, operating undercover within the region, has confirmed the site houses what may be the largest surviving collection of pre-Gulag Sith tomes dedicated to forbidden Sith Alchemy and ancient Dark Side sorcery.

Master K'krohl has answered the call. Leading an assault team delivered by advanced stealth shuttles, the strike force must infiltrate the facility, destroy the archives before the rival Sith factions consolidate power, and exfiltrate before a larger Kainate fleet arrives to secure the site.

Time is crucial as the shuttles can only remain on the surface for three hours. After that, the team risks being cut off and overwhelmed. The stakes are immense. These ancient texts represent irreplaceable knowledge of the earliest and most potent applications of the Dark Side. Allowing them to fall into the hands of the resurgent Sith Order would grant them considerable power.

JEDI FORCES OBJECTIVES​

• Primary Objective: Locate and completely destroy the central Florn Sith Archives
• Secondary Objectives:
  • Infiltrate the Archives undetected and secure a path for the demolition team.
  • Neutralize or bypass any remaining automated defenses and loyalist Sith guards before they can call for reinforcements.
  • Recover or destroy any active Sith alchemical experiments or mutagenic specimens that could be weaponized.
  • Ensure the safe extraction of the assault team within the three-hour window.
• Tertiary / Optional:
  • Capture or eliminate high-value rival Sith figures present in the chaos.
  • Rescue any imprisoned or enslaved individuals encountered within the facility.

OPPOSING FORCES OBJECTIVES​

• Primary Objective: Protect the Archives at all costs and repel the Jedi incursion
• Secondary Objectives:
  • Activate emergency security protocols and summon nearby Sith forces.
  • Secure and evacuate as many valuable tomes and artifacts as possible.
  • Hunt down and eliminate the Jedi strike team to prevent word of the Archives from spreading further.
• Tertiary / Optional:
  • Use the chaos to eliminate rival Sith claimants and seize control of the Archives for personal gain.
  • Deploy experimental alchemical creations or dark side rituals against the intruders.

The stealth shuttle landed in the jungle clearing. The ramp opening into the humid atmosphere of Florn as K'krohl was the first to exit, his arms tucked into his sleeves as he paused for a moment, his tusks slightly parted as he inhaled the air, which was thick with the scent of damp rot and the faint, unmistakable scent of dark side corruption lingering from the Sith Archives.

Once the area was deemed safe, he signaled for the rest of the assault team to disembark from the shuttle. Some members had brought their own vessels for extra support during this mission which he would gladly accept without complaint. A small wooden box was quickly unloaded from the cargo hold, revealing several backpacks.

"Each of us will take a pack; there are five thermal detonators allocated per person. No more, no less, or we risk attracting the attention of the nearby Sith Order's scanner relays." He said, with a gesture to make his point. This was the best team he could gather on such short notice, but they would have to suffice since the other Jedi Enclaves and independent operatives were occupied with preparing for more conventional battles.

He moved to the center of the group, bowing his head in respect for accepting such a dangerous assignment. "I will warn you now that the path ahead will not be easy, destroying historical records even ones tainted with the Dark Side will bother some of you. As galactic citizens we should be stewards of knowledge but we cannot allow the Sith any more chances to cause destruction" He said with an open posture to ease any lingering tension from his speech.

They were not here to mindlessly destroy things simply because they happen to belong to the Dark Side, instead this was a preventive measure to ensure the galaxy would survive long after they were gone. "Stay in formation," he instructed, his tone firm yet acknowledging the specialized skills each individual brought to the table.

"This is not a solo effort. Watch each other's flanks. If the Sith defenders emerge, hold your ground just long enough to ensure your charges are set. Your lives are more valuable than a few stacks of cursed tomes. Once the last detonator is armed, we converge on the extraction point. We go in together, we finish the objective, and we leave. Clear?" He waited for the team to acknowledge, ensuring everyone understood the stakes and their roles. He then turned to the dense foliage, his hand resting on his lightsaber pommel, waiting for the signal to lead the way toward the archives.
