Darth Morta stands at just under 6 feet tall, but thanks to her choice of footwear towers over those she considers her underlings, she is athletic and proud of her body, working hard to keep herself in good shape. Her crimson skin has black tattoos on her face and Lekku, something she did during her criminal association while still home on Ryloth, in addition to those tattoos on her face and Lekku, she usually wears black lipstick and a look of disdain.
PERSONALITY
A vain, vicious she-devil, and masochist who takes pleasure in hurting people as revenge for her terrible upbringing, though you’d never see her in a therapist's office to find out that’s why she does it, nor would she care at this point. She tends to view non-force users as lesser beings and will use and discard them like a tissue unless they prove useful, and one particularly skilled might even ascend to be placed amongst force users in her eyes, though rarely. She has a slight addiction to using Force Drain to pull the life force from others and take it into herself to maintain her appearance and physicality, almost like how a normal being has a skincare routine.

Early life
Darth Morta was born in the city of Kala'uun on Ryloth under the name Desha Kairn, or at least she assumed that was her name since she never knew her parents that was just what people called her as far back as she can remember. Desha originally grew up in an orphanage due to the high amount of wars, chaos, and upheaval in the galaxy, unfortunately, she was far from the only child to have the same fate, and her orphanage was underfunded and overcrowded. But by the time she was 14 she hardly spent any time at the orphanage or her schooling, she had learned the basics and had enough to get by in the criminal underworld, especially thanks to her force sensitivity, what she didn’t know Desha was able to pick up on the fly easily. She was a deft hand with a vibroblade, cutting belt pouches and robbing people blind of all their credits, sneaking around and listening into conversations, selling info on what ships might have valuable cargo to steal, or being a distraction and acting lookout for other criminals.
Introduction to Sith Teachings
At 17 Desha stole something that would change her life forever, she had been listening in about a transport with a valuable artifact on it, she originally planned to sell this information on to her usual contact, but when she heard how small it was she thought that she might be able to handle this herself. She’d been able to swap the bag that the courier had been transporting it in and run far across the city, she opened up the bag once she was somewhere safe to see what her efforts won her. Desha opened up the case that contained the artifact to find it was a Sith Holocron, at first she was confused about what it was until it reacted to her force sensitivity and internalized anger and opened up to her. The Sith Lord who had created the hologram in the waning days of one of the many Sith Empires taught her, explaining through the holocron he had made this so the Sith would never disappear from the galaxy. He could not teach her more than the basics though due to the limited time he had to create this holocron but urged her to go to the old Sith world of Krayiss Two where he had hidden further knowledge.
Becoming Darth Morta
With a goal in mind, Desha waited and watched, learning to pilot from a smuggler she regularly sold info and worked as a contact for, on one of these lessons, satisfied she could handle the ship, she stabbed him and dumped his body out an airlock, turning the ship for the old Sith Empire’s former space. Once arriving on Krayiss Two Desha kept learning and studying, even observing the new Sith in the galaxy as they came and went, but never making herself known to them, the knowledge she uncovered she fed to the holocron letting the Lord within teach her as much as she was learning from her discoveries treating it as her Master. Learning to make herself a pair of lightsabers and even repairing a set of ancient Sith Armour and modifying it to fit herself and her tastes. When she felt ready she asked the holocron how she could become a Lord, and the answer she was given was to be powerful enough to defend her claim to the title and make a move powerful enough to command fear and respect, she took the title of Darth Morta and started planning her move on the government of Krayiss Two, deciding ownership of a planet was a good start to proving herself a Sith Lord.
