OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Two kinds of stealth - Thanks to the Oberyn Stealth Shroud and the Vidhar Cloacking device, the Shadow Broker Is able to move about relatively unnoticed. Something the info broker known as Dedata appreciates in the design of the ship.
  • Hijinks Hacking - This tech was personally ordered with design specifications to aid in EWAR and information gathering. While the tech is not commonly known it resembles that of the Hyperspace Marauder but improved. This means the ship has the ability of Comms-based hacking that can allow access to other ships' subsystems to remotely shut them off.
WEAKNESSES
  • Combat - While capable of defending its self. The ship is designed for heavy combat scenarios. It is unlikely you will see this ship in a large scale fleet battle.
  • Blind spot - The ship has a blind spot from the turrets. Due to the dishes that protrude from atop the ship the top turret cannot fire on enemy who are on the other side.
DESCRIPTION

The Shadow Broker's design is not one that is new however it was rare to have seen one back in the days of its use. After two years of datamining The info broker who went by Dedata came across the schematics for the ship as she was in desperate need to upgrade from the current one she owned. Over the period of getting the plans she deconstructed them to the basics and began to build up what she wanted in not just a ship, but a home too. The past three months she had researched companies that was not corrupt, ran by a cooperation or if anything had desirable tech that would be crucial in its design. Even up to the last weeks there where minor changes being made. For example one room was dedicated for... passengers. Coming into the Family it was now a possibility that she might need to on occasion have the facilities for guests.

Outside of what can be seen on the deck plan there are many features of the ship that is not obvious. Like for example the Hyjinks hacks system, It was designed after that which the infamous Hyperspace Marauder used. Tech like that was a valuable asset to use however it came with expanded abilities with communications. This was the most important piece of tech on the ship and surely was an upgrade from what she had been working on. Having over seen the ship's progress from afar. All software inputs was done by her own hands, meaning each part spoke to each other without overlapping programs. This allowed her to tweak performances and control it with ease along with making the ship near impossible to slice. After all there is no worse insult to a slicer than having your own equipment sliced.

Along side the hardware used to listen in or slice. The ship also has two kinds of stealth. One that will make the ship invisible to sensors as well as one to hide the ship visually. Along with the Hyjinx this was another necessary part. Having the safety net of being invisible gave piece of mind when trying to sleep at night or staying in one system for long periods of time.
