  • Intent: To develop a software that uses its own language
  • Image Source: Datapad || Font was created by myself
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Dedata | Celty Ree Dedata | Celty Ree
  • Affiliation: Dedata | Celty Ree Dedata | Celty Ree and those she chooses to teach and share it with
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: Deda-net
  • Modularity: The software can be tweaked to work on anything.
  • Production: Mass-Produced
  • Material: Any digital device that can have software uploaded to it
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Can be used to connect many things together for example the functions of a ship or a home.
  • Quick slice - The software has prewritten slice codes and can be uploaded and sent over different kinds of networks on the fly. Though this feature is limited to certain kinds of device that can connect to variety of networks. However some of these quick hacks are in the firewalls that protect the software making them notable to mention.
    • Override droid command
    • Com black out
    • Short circuit
    • Shut down displays
    • Remote device turn on/off
    • Nuke (Causes electrical items to over heat rapidly)
STRENGTHS
  • Unreadable - To those who have not been taught how to understand the information they will not be able to comprehend what it is on the screen. Even if they was to upload it to a translation droid the text would trigger illegal language and refuse.
  • Firewall Fortress - The software has many different kinds of firewalls and traps laced into its code. Those who try to brute force their way past the software will encounter many untold troubles. One such trap will force the device to overheat.
  • Modular - The software can be used on a large array of things. From slicing to small gadgets and gizmos, even entire space stations. All it requires is to be uploaded onto what it will be used on and the correct code to be implemented.
WEAKNESSES
  • Comprehend language - While Dedata made the software to be unreadable. There is one flaw, force users who are able to use comprehend language will be able to make out the information.
  • Always in a state of development - Even someone adept in writing code makes a mistake here an there. Meaning there is bugs in the software that take time to find an iron out.
DESCRIPTION

Deda-net is a software that was built more as a frame work. Its design was to be something near impossible to slice while having the capacity to be used in various ways. Software that is flexible is nothing strange in the galaxy, many shipwrights, vehicle manufacturers and droid production companies all use a framework. They use it for simplicity and the fact it has been refined to be easy to use by the manufacturers and customers alike. This is why Dedata set out to make something that only she would understand and those she may plan to teach it too. Being an information broker and slicer it was important to take into account of security. Not just the information she obtains but her property too.

Everything Dedata makes be that a device or the helmet on her head, they all run from the same software. In a technological sense, it is able to communicate reliably with other devices running Deda-net even through the holonet. Having worked on this software over many years it has gone through many phases, at first it used aurabesh as a basic start. Over time Dedata made her own language implementing it into a superior version removing aurabesh code. However the basic alphabet still exists in the software as a way of simple communication with cliental or those who need to be privy to information.
