The Battalion violently hacked apart another Stormtrooper before sending a ball of lightning in a slow path ahead of her, bolts discharging everywhere from it and hitting stormtroopers at random before violently exploding against one and instagibbing him, covering her and her skintight white catsuit in blood, making her look almost demonic.

The Battalion snarled as enemies fled her. And her excitement only grew as Suicide Droids were released, rushing toward her with outstretched arms.

The Battalion unleashed another ball of lightning, which rushed forward and detonated many droids from the randomly firing bolts that released from the ball, in addition to those destroyed by Sergeant Omen Sergeant Omen

The Battalion Force Gripped droids and hurled them with full force at each other, causing more explosions...

"More..." she hissed, locked in Bloodlust. She had to feel her enemy being rent by their blade, feel their despair as they died--

The Battalion paused a moment at the sensation, and in that moment grew troubled by her discussion with Laertia earlier.

Was this sensation, this thirst for pain and suffering in others truly her own, or was it what Phyre gave her?

The Battalion had never really thought to question it as she let the bodies hit the floor (Death Metal Tune Plays for a few seconds) and idly deflected a Charric back on its source, killing a Stormtrooper just as Zachariel Steelblood Zachariel Steelblood came into view, a mountain with superhuman speed.

"Bastard's been eating his spinache..." (MAX: 90XP) The Battalion remarked watching him kill harder than Tony killed Thanos.

The Battalion also noted that the Empress was in sight, and had raised the Dead. Classic. And the Empress got her hands dirty too. Perhaps that played a factor as to why Darth Xiphos had offered her particular set of skills to her to begin with...

The Battalion casually approached Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim , telekinetically breaking the neck of a Stormtrooper about to take aim at her.

"Empress, greetings on behalf of myself and a...mutual acquaintance, who requested me to aid your operation here. Is there some way I can more thoroughly assist---?"

The Battalion turned around and fired another lightning ball at the Squad of Stormtroopers, flesh rippling as she did before turning back to Ingrid.

"Beyond the obvious, I mean." The Battalion finished. "I don't understand why these fools wish to die for some no name warlord..."

Landing with a thud, the beast jumped down next to him and stated the dark place from where he came, leaving Calruss to raise his eyebrow from the statement "Seems like an interesting place..." he grunted before taking a peek over the walker, only narrowly avoiding the fire deflecting off the top of the downed walker. He looked back to Zachariel, only to see him charge straight the stormtroopers with reckless abandon. It was clear he didn't care less what the enemy threw at him, for all he knew he was invincible to their petty attack. Calruss smirked from ear to ear and saw his chance to strike, choosing to run behind the giant as cover until he got close enough to strike.

When Steelblood hacked and slashed through the first line he appeared from behind the brute, surprising troopers to the right who were too busy firing whatever they had at the unstoppable force. Sliding towards them Calruss went low and cleanly sliced the leg of the first trooper, leaving his leg to flop to the ground as he screamed in agony. Without wasting a second the teen lowered his hand down to the leg and flung it the next trooper with the force, snapping his head back nastily as other troopers began to discover a new presence within their ranks. As they turned their guns to him in surprise Calruss was already on them with shocking speed, slicing each one down while at the same weaving in and out of the blaster that came his way.

Cutting four of the stormtroopers down, he raised his hand to the last stormtrooper and threw him over to a swinging Steelblood, who powerfully knocked the body of the man high into the air while focusing on others who were below him. After minutes in the air, the body finally hit the pavement with a sickening crunch.

Suddenly, as he was able to face another pair of stormtroopers former bodies of the living pushed past him desperately for a chance to get their claws on them. Calruss let them pass unhurt as they rushed the fumbling stormtroopers, who were scared to the core of their own soldiers dribbling at the chance to hurt them. With little resistance they surrounded them and dug in, clawing and tearing them apart without mercy "The power of the Red Witch has no bounds" he said with a smile, looking back to his savage companion who was still busy picking apart the horde of soldiers coming his way

"Steelblood, may I request something?" the boy shouted over to the man, his head switching between Zach and the retreating stormtroopers running away from them "Can you please share?" he said jokingly with a smirk, his lightsaber suddenly going down into the chest of a half dead trooper Zach didn't finish off. Although, another chance for combat would soon come their way.

Droids flooded into the streets with mad intentions, bombs strapped to their chests as they rushed the warriors manicly. At first, Calruss managed to push groups of them away, forcing them to explode into empty buildings long left empty by the citizens. Although, more and more came rushing in, soon beginning to overwhelm the teen. Rushing backward to Steelblood, he made sure to keep clear of his swings as the droids ran at him getting closer and closer by the second "Droids... how have they made more useless than before?" he grunted, extending his lightsaber out to the approaching rust buckets "Maybe falling on them could be a more effective attack Steelblood, I can't see a more painful and terrifying death than that"

As Ingrid turned, she could already see the devastation Zachariel and Calruss had done to the enemy's ranks. She didn't really expect less than that, especially from Zachariel. She had seen several times what the man was capable of. Meanwhile, as she got closer, Ivixa also came out of the building. Ingrid decided to give the girl more leeway and freedom; after all, she has earned the trust with her work in recent months.

<"I trust your abilities, Rominaria Seven. Go, if you need reinforcements, I’ll be there as support."> she replied to Ivixa.

Meanwhile, B1 droids have also appeared, with bombs. Ingrid reached out to the Force and ordered the undead back in a telepathic way. Because here, as Zachariel raged, more and more corpses took to the streets, which was useful to them, especially against the kamikaze droids. She whispered a few words again, drawing appropriate hand gestures into the air. The dead on the ground came to life and headed for the droids or were shot from a distance. They may have been undead, but they were able to use their weapons.

"Zachariel, agent, leave a little more from them, if they are still nearly one piece they can be better recycled!" she shouted to the two men.

Meanwhile, a woman steps closer to her, not at first knowing who Battalion might be, since she had never seen her. Even if they were on the same battlefield, they were still in different places.

"Fanatics, I’m not surprised, but sooner or later their minds break. You can help Rominaria Seven to find the Warlord before he escapes. And thanks for your help!" she replied to her in her usual cold voice.

Thanks to undead support, no droid has reached near the armoured assassin and necromancer yet.

Fighting on, killing harder and faster, Zachariel reveled in the bloodshed. The squad he was cutting into fell swiftly, dying one by one, violently, quickly. Even the man Calrus threw towards him died, cut in twain and flung high, only crash to the ground with a crunch. Zachariel did also note that the boy had come close with him, choosing to engage the stormtroopers as well.

Fighting on, Zachariel noticed the stormtroopers beginning to retreat, running away. Some were cut down by Ivixa's blaster fire, but more still ran, hoping for the chance of survival. Stopping in his slaughter, Zachariel's head turned to observe the battlefield. Gaze shifting to Calruss as he spoke, Zachariel chuckled. Before he could respond however, droids began rushing out towards them, arms extended for an explosive hug.

"I do believe there are more than enough to share now." Noting the droids mad laughter, Zachariel's own echoed back in response. His far more damning and dark than the droids could hope to emulate. Zachariel's laughter was that of a demented man, gone mad with power and chaos, seeking to drag others into the abyss and howling with glee at the corruption. "Why don't we give them a proper introduction... to hell."

Reaching out with the Force, Zachariel ripped a sheet of metal free from the fallen walker. Aiming towards the capital building and the droids swarming forth, he flung the metal forward. It cut through the droids, or slammed them down, causing explosions to echo. Grinning at the destruction, Zachariel advanced towards the fallen droids. Around him rocks and pieces of sheet metal began to float, flinging towards the droids and keeping them at bay.
"Come then, let the slaughter continue!"

Ivixa snapped into action as the explosive-laden battle droids charged out from the alleyways, sewer grates, and crevices surrounding the group, initiating a massed suicide charge in an attempt to vanquish the six elite combatants, each with their own skills, specializations, and flair for death. Unfortunately, while her weapon was powerful, it was slow-firing, meaning that Ivixa wasn’t of much use against the wave of suicidal battle droids. As such, she held close to the Red Witch, picking off any stray battle droids that were not taken out by the precise, rapid shots of the newcomer mercenary, the Red Witch, or the monstrous, seemingly immortal Gen’Dai.

Once the wave of droids was dispersed, Ivixa nodded to the Red Witch, her cheeks flushing a light shade of crimson at her praise. The tiny sniper had worked hard since her induction into Blackwatch, becoming stronger, faster, and ultimately, more lethal, in order to meet the demanding standards of a Blackwatch Operative. To know that she had the confidence of the Empress filled the ex-Huntress with pride, knowing that she was marching forward to fulfill her destiny, the prophecy laid out for her by a Sri’la Shaman when she was born.

A slayer of dragons and men.

In spite of the fact that she had only been an infant when it was delivered, Ivixa felt every inflection of the words in her soul, not only in her mother’s voice, but the shaman’s as well. She had disregarded the prophecy at first, thinking it to be the crazed ramblings of a mad witch. However, it had quickly become an unconscious motivation for the diminutive sniper, beyond merely providing for her family, but fulfilling a greater destiny which promised immortality.

<”Thank you, Red Witch.”> Ivixa answered calmly, before shifting her attention towards the other witch in the vicinity, one Battalion.

”How would you like to help me kill that no-name warlord?” The tiny Asa’nyx said to the Battalion with a playful, bloodthirsty glint in her golden eyes. “And you, mercenary.” She directed to Sergeant Omen Sergeant Omen .

“We’re going underground.” She said, before walking towards a nearby sewer grate and pulling it open with surprising strength.

Then, she jumped inside.

Ingrid just nodded at Ivixa's response and pretended not to notice her embarrassment. The droids slowly began to run out, and she waited in vain for a response from Zachariel. The man seemed to be much more immersed in the battle and chaos than he could perceive the outside world. As an outside observer, she sensed this. Through the Force, the woman could still have drawn attention to herself, but she didn't. Rather she continued to pay more attention to the environment.

She stood there motionless on the battlefield, as if she had nothing to fear; while her men were just doing their job. There was no need to intervene; it will be their victory, they prospered without the woman. For a commander, this is her greatest pride when she doesn’t have to intervene. Not even when she herself really wanted to, because that’s exactly the job for her. But as a leader she could not be selfish; she had to let her people develop as well, learn even more.

She saw Ivixa disappeared, went after the warlord. The red-haired woman had no doubt that she would handle the situation. If the woman's intervention is needed, she will be here. But in the meantime, she waited. It could be demoralizing for the enemy that she was just standing in the middle of the chaos with a cold calm, like a statue. Without the slightest fear or motion.

After all, the Empress has always been famous for her legendary calmness and coldness…

Lipsec. Fifty million inhabitants and still in the atara-end of nowhere. Suited Ebony fine, really. Their authorities had been utterly useless in capturing them as they terrorized their populace. Not all at once, of course. Most of the people chasing them weren't even aware it was the same entity involved in the crimes. Ebony hadn't seen the need for people to make the connection; just drew attention, which was the last thing they wanted. Attention got bounty hunters and large Empires chasing you and neither of those helped... interrogate people.

Why was a Spirit of Pure Darkness interrogating people on Lipsec? Well not for the Empire's benefit, certainly. Ebony had no affiliation with them. Such creatures would just try the same thing their Creators had -- enslavement. They'd call it something else, of course. Ebony had learned almost everyone despised slavery. No one could articulate why, of course. Not in a manner Ebony understood it anyway. 'Because it is wrong?' How was it wrong? Enslavement was better than what Ebony would have given them -- a slow, gruesome death.

Yes, but the interrogations. Ebony needed more information. More... understanding of the squishy things that surrounded them. Also, they were terribly amusing play things.

That's when the noise of the Empire drew Ebony from their current lair. Noise and use of dark energy. Strangely enough, the Spirit found their zeal alluring. Pleasant even. Better than when one of those Jedai came around -- those creatures enraged Ebony like none other just by having the audacity to exist.

Though the Empire had no plans for this circumstance, that lure drew Ebony to them. Or, more to the point, to their enemy. A band of soldiers had been striving to secure an escape route. The Empire was apparently quite effective at routing their enemy; another point for them. These hapless fools, however, had the Nether's luck in coming up short as a strange woman stood in the middle of the narrow street they turned down.

Ebony turned their head slightly to the left and eyed the blasters directed at their form. None of them seemed particular intriguing. Their Master must not be there yet. A forward guard to ensure whoever that was didn't run into a trap. Good for them.

"Who--"

Spikes erupted out of the walls surrounding them, and cries of alarm and rattles of death rang out. Sharp pangs of blaster fire flung out toward Ebony and turned against the buildings around them as though it would forestall their demise.

One bolt managed to plow its way through Ebony's form, and the assault came to as an abrupt a halt as it began. Ebony reached down to touch the edge of the hole while their eyes fell to regard the uninvited change to their appearance.

When they looked back up at the soldiers again, and they resumed firing, Ebony smiled. Tendrils lashed out from either side and the ground beneath their feet to entangle the armored soldiers. The grasp of darkness tightened securely about their limps and tore the weapons from their grasp. One even struggled to grab a grenade perhaps hopeful it would have more effect on the monster before them than their guns had.

"Allow me," Ebony cooed before one of the tendrils pressed the button on the grenade.

The cacophony of sound was absolutely splendid. Ebony could even feel the explosion. Surely the concussive force along would have torn flesh from meat if they had any to begin with.

A satisfied sigh echoed in the silence that fell over the street. Perhaps, someday, Ebony might thank the Empire for sending such wonderful toys their way.

Xiphos breached the facility, red Lightsaber dancing through flesh and armor as she drew the aggro of nearly every First Order Stormtrooper in her immediate area.

She had ulterior motives for being here.

One of her daughters that had fought at Bast Castle on Vjun had found parchment. An ancient page from a Journal. Right where Themis had claimed it would be. It contained the map of a city, set on a planet that wasn't supposed to exist.

The planet was called Khemost. A lost treasure world of the Sith.

She had been following scant clues of it. Barely more than a partial set of coordinates since she had assassinated the real Arianna Belasko and gained access to her vault all those years ago. There had been another hint of it at Malachor, where Arianna had found another partial set of coordinates in the Trayiss Academy.

But now, today, she felt she was actually in reach. The First Order had been following scant clues also. If they had found it, the loot alone might have saved their crumbling empire. As such, her Advanced Model 1 daughters were already out and about in other areas of Lipsec, actively earmarking seized First Order weapons and vehicles for their own use. Both her daughters and her sons seemed to be having a minor love affair with the FO Megablaster. Admittedly, she was rather fond of it also, which is why, after gutting a heavy weapons trooper, she picked one up and decided to have a little fun.

("Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet Plays)

Putting a heavy repeater in the hands of Xiphos was like trying to extinguish a fire with gasoline.

She burst through a passage in the base, blue bolts raining out in burst, flinging Stormtroopers backward ragdoll style. She kept firing, smiling a bit under her mask gunning down dozens of what the Holonet delightfully terms as Red Shirts.

She never could understand her friend and Sister Maple's preference towards smaller firearms. Accuracy was all well and good but what about power? Better to shoot a lot of high damage shots and blanket the area quickly then go for frustrating, pinpoint targeting. That was what swords were for.

The Megablaster had a satisfying whine to it as it fired, Xiphos going full Montana on everything in front of her, albeit without the loads and loads of swearing.

Then she sensed another presence, and almost felt like prancing. It was very familiar, having gotten in by an alternate section. She gunned down those in her way, blasting off whole sections of wall in her rampage, murderdeathkilling any stormtrooper feth in front of her, occasionally teleporting to catch them by surprise. At the very least, it would certainly make things easier for when Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim and company arrived. But she wasn't actually interested in seizing this place.

It was the data banks she wanted.

As she rounded a corner her heart went ablaze with happiness.

It was a copy of Westenra Mina Westenra Mina but not one she was familiar with.

By default, all copies of Westenra were able to mold their flesh to look like they were wearing gold catsuits. The face however, while still golden skinned and blond, was not one she was familiar with. She had sank her fangs into the neck of a horrified First Order Officer, non lethally drinking his psychic energy, flesh rippling as it metabolized it. She stopped, smelling Xiphos and turned.

"Sister! What a delight! I didn't expect to see you here!"

"You're a new copy..." Xiphos remarked striding up. She sensed an intense Darkness. This was faked. That's how advanced the technology of the Psychic Vampire Nine Lives was.

The unknown copy walked over.

"When were you spawned, Sister of my Heart?" Xiphos asked.

"I am the copy you assigned to Ingrid when trying to forge an alliance between her and Thurion Heavenshield. I have been serving in the capacity of a field operative ever since...My name is Melanie, Sister."

Xiphos dropped the Mega lasted and embraced her without hesitation. The Android Vampire returned the hug eagerly.

"What are you here for?" Melanie asked.

"A piece of a secret. In the Databanks. This structure was built atop an even older one. Sith Ruins.

"Does the First Order know?" Melanie asked.

"Possibly. But it's just as likely they don't know what they have."

"What do they have?" Melanie asked.

"A puzzle piece to a lost treasure..." Xiphos answered.

"What treasure could be so vast that you would take an active interest? It's not like you to care about money." Melanie asked. "And you already have Feth-You Money."

"This...this is different. Above and beyond Feth-You Money." Xiphos said.

Xiphos hugged Melanie again.

"Thank you so much for sticking to your mission, Sister. I hope you will come visit me. I'll have plenty of prisoners for you to snack on."

"I'll be sure to gorge..." Melanie assured her. "Let's go find your puzzle piece..."

Xiphos, overjoyed anytime she got to fight alongside a family member, eagerly nodded and reactivated her red Lightsaber. Melanie activated a blade of a far redder hue.

The pair journeyed down the passages, soon encountering more Stormtroopers, some manning turret mounted Megablasters.

Xiphos immediately switched to Shien to start deflecting the shots, while a purple tendril of psychic energy escaped Melanie's hand to wrap around the throat of a Stormtrooper, strangling him.

Xiphos advanced redirecting the bolts, teleporting thrown grenades back, Melanie extending the psychic tendrils from her hand to choke more Stormtroopers.

Ingrid and company would find quite a few dead when they finally breached the place. Xiphos and Melanie's rampage forced The Stormtroopers into full retreat, red blades butchering their way to the Data Banks, where Sensitive Documents were frantically being destroyed by Officers and Staff to prevent it from falling into Eternal Empire hands.

When they saw the pair enter, all the officers and staff stopped.

"If you all run right now..." Xiphos promised, "I will not look for you. I will not pursue you." (Qui-Gon Mode: 90XP)

The staff ran. The Officers did not. They drew their pistols and fired.

Melanie leapt forward, batting bolts backward, her hand discharging directed electricity by burning through her psychic reserves to fry the ones closest to her. Xiphos threw her Lightsaber and cut down another violently, deflecting shots with her floating saber until only one Officer remained.

Xiphos lazily deflected the shots from the dead filled officer as she approached. Finally, the Officer just dropped the pistol.

"These Databanks..." Xiphos said slowly. "I want the most ancient documents stored here. Anything that might resemble old parchment."

The Officer pointed to a vault near a large databank.

"Did you burn anything from there yet?" Melanie asked.

"Lady, we had much more to worry about getting rid of than some dusty old books..." the Officer answered, young, early thirties by Xiphos's guess. "Half the chit in here is Black Operations. Hidden Bases, weapon caches, Bank Account numbers make up the rest of it.

"Was there any of the really old stuff your bosses had any interest in?"

The Officer tried to think.

"There was something...had a black folder. One of the oldest Documents on Lipsec. They didn't let anyone look at it." The Officer answered.

"Is it still here?"

"They were due to pick it up just before the Eternals arrived...guess that ain't happening now..."

"Show me..."

The Officer gulped then gestured for them to follow.

The vault was large, containing old books and records, the most heavily restricted shelf guarded by laser turrets and Force Fields, all of which Xiphos shut down with her technopathy.

"Point it out to me..." Xiphos ordered.

The Officer went up to the shelf, partly pulling out several books, an audible click occurring each time he did...and the bookshelf swung open, revealing a hidden chamber upon which a black folder in a stasis chamber rested on a pedestal.

"Clever...gonna have to remember that one..." Xiphos admitted.

"What should we do with him?" Melanie asked, looking at him like he was a tasty bacon cheeseburger. "I used up a good chunk of my reserves helping you..."

"Congratulations, sir, you've won the lottery..." Xiphos said. "I strongly advise you to get out of this kind of work while you still can. Do you have family? A spouse?"

The Officer nodded nervously.

"Go to them. Be on your way..." she ordered.

"Bummer..." Melanie muttered as the Officer ran for his life.

"I've got captives aboard my frigate. We'll make a meal of it. Enjoy tea together..." Xiphos promised earnestly, which got Melanie smiling again.

Xiphos teleported the document out, opened it.

"Is it what you seek?" Melanie asked.

"Indeed it is..." Xiphos said, freezing it solid then feeding it to a Lightsaber which disintegrated it to ash. No one but her knew that piece of the puzzle at the moment, barring whoever had been about to take it.

"Now, let us finish crippling this places defenses, Sister..." Xiphos said.

Melanie smiled and activated her own blade. The pair strode out, closing up the hidden chamber. using her technopathy to retrieve a few choice bits of heavily encrypted information on datatapes and then went out to clear the rest of the facility...

Sewer treks were never fun.

At the very least, Ivixa managed to stay out of the brackish, murky water by skirting along the outcropping at the edge, her form being just small enough to allow her to do so. Nevertheless, she could only hope that the stench didn’t get into her bodysuit or worse, her hair. Nevertheless, as much as she cared about maintaining her mane, Ivixa cared far more about seeing the objective through. And so, the diminutive Agent trekked through the sewers for over twenty minutes, before she finally reached her destination, the outside of Jaidani Colabra’s bunker underneath the city.

One of the captured stormtroopers had said that the Anax was in a bunker underground. Fortunately, Ivixa had managed to find it, but it would be another task to find which room he was in and to neutralize him.

Pulling herself up the ladder, Ivixa squeezed her way into a vent, crawling through the passage on all fours with as much silence as she could manage. However, speed was a necessity of the mission as well. She had no doubt that the Anax would attempt to relocate if he learned that one of his soldiers had given up his location to an enemy.

Fortunately, glancing through the openings in the vents, Ivixa ascertained that he had yet to do so, if the somewhat relaxed manner of the personnel throughout the bunker was any indication. So far, they seemed to suspect nothing, but that wouldn’t last forever, especially as she depleted more of the power cells in her stealth field generator.

Before long, she came up to the briefing room.

The tall, admittedly handsome figure of Jaidani Colabra stood at the center, surrounded by his senior officers and lieutenants as they pored over a holographic map of the city, presumably monitoring troop movements and possibly even formulating a plan for a retreat, if what had happened in the courtyard had fazed them. It went without saying that it would be difficult to kill him now, when he was surrounded by so many heavily-armed, black and gold-clad novatrooper personal guards, undoubtedly the elite of the elite.

However, Ivixa did not want to entertain the prospect of waiting, especially if there were sensors in the area that might very well pick up her presence.

Fortunately, she didn’t have to.

A few moments after she came up on the room, her target moved to turn away from the table, nodding to his officers as he did. Then, he walked into the hallway, followed closely by a pair of novatroopers, before turning into another room. Moving with all due haste, yet working to keep quiet, Ivixa doubled back through the vents, turning left at another junction, which led into the ceiling over the Anax’s office. With a sudden, suspended breath, Ivixa’s eyes went wide as she located her target, catching him rummaging through a few holobooks on his corner shelf.

With slow, deliberate movements, Ivixa crawled through the vents, until she was directly above her target. Then, after securing herself to the inside of the vent with her liquid cable launcher, Ivixa quietly slid the panel aside, before letting her form hang upside down from the ceiling.

Then, the assassin fired a stream of supercooled chemicals into the man’s skull.

Ingrid was still standing right in the middle of the street. With the help of the Force, she watched the others as they continued to work. The most interesting, of course, was Ivixa, as she was the one who performed the most delicate point and task. And through the Force, it was easy to watch. Incidentally, the Empress often thought of several things at a time, which was also part of her training to defend herself against telepaths. This was useful on the battlefield or anywhere else.

There was slowly no opponent left on the street, the dreaded soldiers surrendering in line. The lucky ones have just been shot dead, the unlucky ones will go to court-martial. And after what they did here with the civilian population, they couldn’t expect much good. Ingrid had meanwhile sensed a new presence in the meantime, but now she didn't have time to deal with it, nor with Xiphos' actions. Mainly because Ivixa reached the Warlord and did her job. With success.

< ~ Good job, agent! ~ > she said.

<< This is the Red Witch! The warlord is dead! The operation is nearing its end, cleaning up the planet from the warlord's followers! >> she ordered.

She looked at her people again, today everyone did a great job in this place. Within a few days as they are done, another planet will join the Empire and there will be one less enemy on the map…
