BIOGRAPHY:
Having saved up a bit of money working as a mechanic, Ranna bought herself a very reliable Y-Wing, fixed it up, and set off to see how things were outside of her home on Lonesome. The spice trade itself never attracted her, but the machines did, and there was good money in fixing things for the mines and the corporations running them. Eventually she found herself fixing ships and learned how to fly them to move them about. A skill she honed as a craze for fighter sim battles swept through the city of Drenn. Hopping into a sim pod was a great way to blow off some steam after a day full of work and if you bet drinks, winning was even better. Eventually the wanderlust bug bit her and she spent quite a bit of her savings on a Y-Wing, fixed it up to her tastes, and set out to see the galaxy as a hired gun.
After a few years of the mercenary life, Ranna ran into Vren Rook while the Mandalorian Karjr was looking for allies to take down a syndicate that had moved into his little spot on Tatooine. Afterwards he extended an invitation to Ranna to stop being alone and to join the Mandalorians, an offer she accepted. Moving to Kestri she threw herself into the life of a Mandalorian, joining Skull Squadron to fly a Beviin alongside learning of the Mando ways.
After the Enclave's slow dissolution, Ranna went her own way again. Avoiding the Mandalorian Crusades as the stark opposite of her Mandalorian beliefs, she instead started taking personal contracts again. She was on Bellassa for the planeshift, and stayed local for a period of time as the hyperlanes were sorted out again. It was while considering building a covert for Mandalorians to come together to accept mercenary contracts that one of her brethren told her of the Writ of Iron, the Mandalorian Empire's writ for those operating independently of its structures. Finding its terms more than amenable, Ranna added her name to the ranks.
