As the bids for the items Sularen sought increased, his comlink started ringing as Director Rackham attempted to contact him. Proceeding to take out his comlink the Supreme Commander would open the call with Rackham soon speaking up. "The first transfer has been made. I'm still in the process of making more calls but by the end of this you should have enough funds to get what you want." he began.

"I just hope whatever you are seeking down there is worth the investment, incase the rest of the Ruling Council finds out." the Director added. "Let me worry about the Ruling Council Rackham. I am after all a member of the Council. Once everything is said and done they'll soon come to understand the fruits of our labor today." the Supreme Commander responded.

"Very well then. I shall leave you to the auction. Long live the Empire." Rackham said before terminating the call. "Long live the Empire." Sularen responded right as he would increase the bid, determined to take those three items back home regardless of the cost.

Vortigern struggled to drink the remaining expensive wine in his hand just before the auction was announced and the final bids for the items were secured. He looked down at the terminal as it refreshed once more, showing Mauve du Vain outbidding the Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen for the carbonite individual, and at quite a substantial amount, if he may add.

They had spent a combined total of 145,000 credits on a person that was unknown to the both of them. It was a gamble and such a gamble came with risks especially when one is dealing with the Black Sun Syndicate. Although the Zeltron had overlooked something as she approached with a somewhat triumphant expression on her face, having thoroughly defeated the Imperial and shown them the exit.

"My dear lady, it appears you are mistaken regarding our agreement," Vortigern said, offering a smile and lightly stroking his pencil mustache as he pressed a button on the console to transfer 70,003 Credits from a private account to the Bank of Nar Shaddaa to cover the cost of the items he truly desired.

"We had agreed to merge our bids for the carbonite individual. Nowhere in that clause was there any mention of reimbursement for the one who ultimately became the last bidder." She ought to have been more cautious as a criminal; one should not enter into an agreement without having all the precise details clarified.

Now, she faced the prospect of paying the full price for the item or risking angering the very Syndicate she was affiliated with, which could potentially infuriate the Underlord even more. As for the House of Tagge they had gotten everything they wanted and more, exiting the event with a small bow to join up with the encampment of his private guardsman on the landing pads.
