DESCRIPTION
There are few things more fearsome in close combat than a Bowie knife and the Enclave armorers made these to be fearsome beasts. A heavy beskar blade with a D-guard and back quillon protects the user and their hand from the many lightsaber users on the battle field while allowing plenty of room for a gloved hand to maneuver. Adding an augmented vibrocell on top of the energy cell and monomolecular edge was a bit overkill, but allows the knife to cut through the thickest of armors with enough force and less-protective ones much easier; though the sound of metal cutting metal enhanced by the rapid blade oscillations can be excruciating to unprotected ears.

Though any Mandalorian may request one be made for them, the Enclave Bowie Knife came about at the request of a relatively new member at the time. Ranna Sejast asked after the design, basing it on ones used on her home planet of Lonesome. The Enclave's armorers then took the idea and improved on the simple vibroknife idea she'd presented them. As a pilot she felt it was necessary because even a relatively short Beskad sword would be frustrating and awkward to wear in the cockpit and she'd chosen to forgo beskar plating for her armor. With this knife strapped to her boot, she could defend herself should the need arise.
