Outer Rim Development Corps
Not exactly a faction, per se, but a new initiative founded by Mya Jesel and the Susefvi government under their new efforts to stand for the values of their government and ideals they hold in a galaxy that grows darker with every passing day. Dedicated to stabilizing the Outer Rim through investing in governments and infrastructures, the ORDC operates as an independent humanitarian organization, funded by government grants and donations from both corporate and private sponsors. They conduct resource surveys, construction, and scientific studies at the request of the local governments and then provide the skilled personnel and equipment for the local society to utilize in creating a strong, stable, society where everyone can life peacefully and free of fear.

What can you do?
The ORDC needs people of all kinds to support its mission and vision of a safer, stabilized Outer Rim free of slavers, cartels, and oppression. Scouts, surveyors, scientists, researchers, and engineers are all vital to the successful development of any of the planetary projects. Volunteers to work on the projects and make them happen. More dramatically, the ORDC needs materials and equipment: surveyors probes, construction equipment, bulk cargo haulers, well-diggers, evaporators. Corporate contracts and donations are essential. In the far fringes, even hyperspace travel degrades into a chaotic, dangerous, unreliable method as hyperplanes are hard to find and prone to collapse. Bring your best scout ships and most fearless navigators as we try to build a stable infrastructure through the Outer Rim capable of sustaining trade and security travel.

What does the ORDC actually do?
If there's enough interest and people want to get involved, we could spin it into a minor sub faction of OPA with branches in other territories where invited, based on worldbuilding/development for the Codex, and general humanitarian Outer Rim slice-of-life stories. Ordinary people living their lives and working their jobs as they try to build a better Outer Rim. Not so concerned with faction politics, except we probably can't start projects in areas hostile to freedom, democracy, and stable governments without some sort of security or agreements.

Projects?
Yeah, ideally, ORDC would be divided into different projects based on different worlds and star-systems. I think it could be a ton of fun to have multi-thread campaigns about building up the world's infrastructure, resources, economy, and government through threads followed by codex subs.
