Contracting exclusively with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Vylmiran Technological Industries is the flagship R&D company on the research world of Vylmira. Under the leadership of Voph Sitdrisa'yr, VTI has begun work on a number of projects dedicated to improving the Confederate Military. VTI runs almost exclusively off of CIS funding, and operates on a strict code of secrecy. Many of its technologies are intended solely for the Confederacy, and project files are subject to classification. The headquarters is located in Vylmira City, while the primary production is outsourced to various other Confederate Foundries and Factories.
Voph came to be the leader of this company upon his appointment as High Councilor of Vylmira. As the sole Research and Development company built by the natives of its location, Voph saw the company as paramount to rebuilding the tech empire that Vylmira had once been. He began investing both time and money into it from his own pockets and that of the Confederacy, to begin work on technologies that would allow the common soldier to evolve into something more. After all, who better to understand what a warrior needs than a warrior himself?
