- Fully Automated - True to N&Z design, the Gala MkIV is equipped with an ATHENA AI that relieves pilots of menial and routine tasks. It can also assume weapon controls when needed. The ATHENA is also integrated with a high-fidelity sensor suite and is connected to hololink and datalink networks. The Gala MkIV is also equipped with an automatic distress call if the AI is forcefully rebooted or shut down outside of authorized users doing so, like the pilot.
- Compact - The Gala MkIV is a short, lightweight starfighter engineered for maximum space efficiency. Its streamlined frame allows it to be stowed in dense formations within hangar bays, while ensuring that mechanics have ample room for refits and service.
- Well Balanced - The Gala Mk IV embodies the best qualities of its predecessors, refined into a cohesive and efficient design. With optimized armament, resilient defensive systems, and exceptional speed and maneuverability, it delivers a harmonious blend of power and agility. The result is a versatile, reliable starfighter that embodies what a modern multirole fighter should be.
- Fully Automated - As with most N&Z designs, its ATHENA AI is a blessing and a curse. When functioning properly, the system is a godsend; it seamlessly manages critical and routine operations with precision and efficiency. However, when it fails, the pilot can quickly find themselves overwhelmed by the very tasks that automation once handled. The absence of the AI's oversight can turn a minor malfunction into a catastrophic failure.
- Outboard Engine Vents - The ship's exhaust and cooling vents are exposed at the aft and protected only by minimal plating. With external shields down, these vents present a vulnerable target; a well-placed strike can cripple propulsion and cooling systems, rapidly degrading the vessel's combat effectiveness.

DESCRIPTION
The Gala Fighter MkIV is the next iteration in the N&Z Umbrella Corporation's Gala Fighter line. It stays true to the story told by its predecessors; it's a low-cost, high-reliability option for any type of pilot, government, military, defense contractor, or security force. Just like all of the Gala Fighters before, it is an extremely capable fighter.
The Gala MkIV has a few upgrades from the MkIII. Firstly, the reactor has been upgraded from the HPI HAPU to N&Z's CHARM 01 reactor. Its shield system has been upgraded from the SS-1 and SS-2 to the SSP-SIXTUS/A. The next change was to its engines; the MkIII used the original Hermes LFD 760i engines, the MkIV used the new and improved Hermes 980HIF/SE. And lastly, the frame and hull were upgraded from Ersteel 145 to the Super Light Composite Alloy variant of N&Z's Ersteel, increasing its durability and survivability, without sacrificing or increasing weight.
As you can see, the Gala Fighter MkIV continues the proud Gala line legacy of being reliable, resilient, and cost-effective. Just as N&Z has advanced into a new era of innovation, so too has the Gala evolved; streamlined, efficient, and ready to meet the demands of modern warfare.
