HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Located on the Percival Isles in the North Nennius Sea, Laurentia has always prided itself on the beauty of its islands. Pine trees and coastline make up a lot of Laurentina. The city itself sits on the biggest island, Lohengrin. The city faces the open coastline with an optimal view of the North Nennius Sea. Fishermen and coastal foragers alike swap stories while the ferry captains take citizens to and from the island.

Overall there are seven islands, Troyes, Peredur, Angharad, Dindrane, Aglovale, Lamorak, and last but not least, Lohengrin. Dindrane is the second largest of these islands, with Algovale and Lamorak are viewed as the ‘stepping stones’ between the two. North of Lohengrin is Angharad, while Pereder is Northwest of Dindrane. Troyes is the island furthest North of the seven and is one of the smallest. Lohengrin and Dindrane sit side by side with Lohengrin facing the east and Dindrane facing the West.

Many arrive at Laurentia’s Tharp Starport and Transit Center, a series of small starports arranged to form a ‘sea star’ shape. At the ground level, the TSTC is connected to the Darden Harbor were passengers, and goods arrive to and from daily. The ferry is the most common mode of transport into Laurentina and the transport shuttles are the second most common mode of transport where many seek to head to the city of Uther in the far northwest of the region.

Home to the First Imperial Medical Services, and the First Order Division of Science. Laurentia is certainly a place for many scientists and doctors around Dosuun and the First Order’s realm. Favoring sustainability and eco-friendly works, many of Laurentia’s buildings are smaller and more energy-efficient. It is perhaps one of the strictest cities with regards to its environmental regulations.

The men and women stationed at Laurentia during the Fall resorted to using cold-based technology to freeze and slow the scalebacks. This kept Laurentia from being as severely scarred as some of her sister cities. Thus as Dosuun began to recover from the Fall, Laurentia was able to maintain its own until it was finally time to rebuild and restore what had been destroyed.

Recovery officially concluded by mid to late 862 ABY with businesses outside of the First Order moving to claim office space by early 863 ABY. Laurentia continues to boast science and health communities, in addition to vibrant artisans guilds, and an environmentally friendly atmosphere has made Laurentia one of Dosuun’s fastest-growing cities.

When the First Order quietly exited the galactic stage in 868 ABY. Primo Victorian Enterprises stepped in so that the work established by Ariel Yvarro could continue. This work would be overseen by PVE founder, Fiolette Fortan, mother of Ariel Yvarro.

Edit Log: Changed Affiliations from First Order to Primo Victorian Enterprises, removed or modified mentioned of the First Order in the points of interests, added a paragraph to the historical section. 07/30/2021.
