The Terror brought itself about and retreated rapidly from the drifting bulk of its now-disabled quarry. Khrussk's forked tongue lashed out as he cackled with amusement, already envisioning the payout from this job. It was, as expected, an easy gig, and--

The sensor package began to scream, its ear-piercing cry straining all the worse on the Trandoshan's ears. Khrussk's amusement faded quickly, replaced by a certain professional apprehension. Two sensor pings were gaining on the Terror, and they were gaining fast. Manipulating the console to display the rear camera, he hissed a furious sound at the sight, pointedly ignoring the twinge of worry racing along his spine. The Terror was no a superiority fighter, it was a gunship. It was nowhere near fast or agile enough to engage faster ships with any competence.

Just a brief scan of both pursuing crafts told Khrussk he was outmatched in almost everything, likely even skill. Damn it all, this was supposed to be a quick and clean job! Quick and clean! He wasn't supposed to be fighting interceptors in his damn gunboat!

"Twenty minutes," He hissed angrily to himself, activating the auto-turrets and diverting excess power to the rear deflector shields, "They've got twenty minutes, and then I'm gone."

Khrussk quickly armed one of the ion torpedoes, activating its proximity detonator and letting it drop from the wing of the Terror. Would it be able to stop his pursuers? Unlikely, but the Trandoshan could hope.

“Frak” Hearing the blaster fire coming from both directions he has a decision to make who would get the hit knowing neighter weapon by view he dives into a forward roll blaster bolts flying around him. Avoiding most of the bolts he hisses as a white hot pain shoots through his left arm as a bolt scored a hit on his left shoulder leaving the arm limp and unable to hold his blaster pistol as it clatters to the ground. Glancing at the blaster wound he growls another injury that would further limit his use of his left arm “Fine I end you accursed droids then execute your bloody masters” He screams this as his skin turns ever redder and he charges the droid with the scatterblaster. Clearing the distance with speed greater than before he growls and with the Five foot club in his right hand he swings with as much force as his adrenaline and genetically enhanced weapons can generate without leaving himself open in an attempt to either crush the droid or at least take that bloody blaster from it both if he could.

As he tought he could only hope from the rocking of the ship that his allies were doing better. “this could've been a calm peaceful job but no that's done if I get a hold of your masters they will die slow then I'll decide what type of cybernetic enhancement I can replace my arm with since this Damn thing is done for” His mind doing double time on how to get out of this rather unfortunate situation apparently luck wasn't on his side today. Hopefully his allies were doing better than him cause this was turning into a cluster frak almost not worth the money.

"Where there is money, there is fighting"
Dezik was sweeping the area when the pilot's voice chimed in. "Can't read anything in the vents. Someone's left a virus in our system." Dezik shook his head. "Well try to get back in keep me updated if you get through." he answered. That's when he came across two guards, unconscious from Adi'ka's ambush. He looked up and saw the doors left open (apart from the one he blasted a whole through) led straight to the cargo bay. "Stang." he said before comming in Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr "Mariah I got a potential hostile moving to the cargo bay. I'm moving to your position now but be ready." he said before standing up and running down the hallway.

His target ( Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud ) was probably faster than him the way they managed to stay one step ahead of him but if he managed to get into the cargo bay and get into a defensive position then he'd stand a chance. As he approached the cargo hold he began hearing the battle between Avolich and the droids. He hesitated for a second before moving into the cargo hold. Guarding the objective takes priority over getting into fights much to his dismay. Dezik raised his rifle and began his sweep. He activated his helmet's comms and but activated his voice scrambler so anyone outside would only hear what sounded like a garbled communication "ł₦ ₮ⱧɆ ₵₳Ɽ₲Ø ⱧØⱠĐ ₦Ø₩, ₴₩ɆɆ₱ł₦₲ ₮ⱧɆ ₳ⱤɆ₳." he said to Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr , "฿Ɇ ₱ⱤɆ₱₳ⱤɆĐ ₣ØⱤ ₳ ₲Ʉ₦₣ł₲Ⱨ₮ ₴ⱧØɄⱠĐ ł₮ ₵Ø₥Ɇ ₮Ø ł₮."

White-5: Engaging Avolich Erasare Avolich Erasare

Deryn Kaaldos Deryn Kaaldos said he'd be engaging the ship that took out their comm tower. Good. If he wasn't taken out then he could threaten to blow them all up since Avolich had managed to cause destruction to the engines. And that was definitely a possibility still. She knew Deryn's ship was pretty well armed, so she hoped it'd be enough to at least scare off the pirates.

Her fight with Avolich Erasare Avolich Erasare was having...mixed results. Especially for the mans size he was very fast, he was also now threatening them. She switched the rifle to a stun setting. The droid spoke in his own voice, but the words belonged to Mariah, "Surrender and I may be willing to help. Do not, and I put this back on the kill setting." she warned. Even as the droid spoke he was firing the stun shots, careful to avoid also hitting Deryn's droid if Avolich moved out of the way again, as he clearly seemed capable of managing that for at least a good portion of the shots. She felt that even with one arm down, this guy could tear her apart if he found her. She was quite happy she was hidden in a crate right now.

She heard Dezik Agorr Dezik Agorr warn her about someone else coming to the cargo hold ( Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud ) unfortunately. She responded quietly, but he should hear it through his comms anyway,
"Little problematic cause I'm controlling White. I'll stay still, and if I hear them I'll try and get out. But right now most of my attention is on the big guy in the halls."

While she didn't know Adi's plan was to jettison the cargo hold, she at least wouldn't die from such an event. Since she was wearing a flight suit she would be alright, though getting back would be rather irritating. There was a further issue of that whatever was in the crates might not be able to survive space. And that would mean both parties would lose what they were after.

No primate ever looked up, when he was searching for enemies. It was as an instinct humans simply had not, because their forgotten homeworld did not had birds that would be a danger foto them. So walking at the cyling with her adhesive boots and her strong legs was not a problem at all. Especially with the explosions and blaster shootings going on. Soon she was in reach of a terminal in control of the cargo hold.

The ECM and ECCM was naturally highend on this ship and and also militarygrade shielding against remote slicing was in place,, but Adi'ka simply made physical contact with the computersystem shooting her slicing wire directly into the droid access port. The following slicing attempt was shockingly easy for a gearhead like the little lagomorph and her technological advanced armor.

The secondary terminal was of course isolated from the central computer who was fighting with her virus at this moment.

"Access granted.... systems nominal.... connection to mainframe lost... overriding emergency protocols... demagnetizing cargolock... opening both airlocks simultaniously and disabling artifical gravity. Personnel are advised to stay clear of the area. Have a nice day, captain!"

The roaring of atmosphere suddenly being sucked into the cold vaccum of soace out of the cargo holds and the shrieking of sirens was echoing through the ship.

As objects began to lift from the ground when gravity fails, die little Mandalorian ignited her rocket boots to fly with insane speed in the direction of the escaping air. Behind her slammed down the heavy blast doors sealing off the area.

After "Plan Aurek" had spectaculary failed, she hoped her comrade on board would stay now to "Plan Besh": Imideate Evacucation.

He and the fighter spun out of the way at the last moment, not letting any tracking modems to trail them. Of course, this little maneuver cost Deryn B-Z. In spite of being an experienced Bounty Hunter, he had a limited amount of focus. He wasn't a Force User, trained to split his attention across esoteric abilities. Even with his instantaneous reflexes, he lacked a bit on the attention to B-Z, sending out a signal just too slow. He moved backwards and to the right, attempting to evade Avolich Erasare Avolich Erasare 's attack, but it snagged, denting the metal deeply before sending B-Z spinning out, crashing into the wall before falling onto the floor, leaving White by himself. "B-Z is down. You're on your own Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr ."

Taking advantage of the interlink, he fired at the Terror in tandem with his fighter companion. Speeding towards Khrussk , he would suddenly swerve right as the fighter turned left, beginning to use their superior speed and agility to encircle the gunship. The fighter fired its two Incinerator-Class Plasma Railguns towards the Terror's gun decks, though without an Astrodroid to help aiming, the other weapons were unavailable. However, Deryn's interlink allowed him to man all of the weapons without direct physical control, firing its PBA-01 Hyper Pressure Cannon towards its hull, being its most powerful weapon to damage the ship's main hold. While that happened, he used the AG-2G Quad Laser Cannons, firing towards the rear end of the ship. The Beamrail Gauss Cannons, however, would instead be reserved to attack the gun decks with the starfighter. Deryn would reserve his concussion rockets. The ship was still far more armed than him in spite of being smaller - he had to be careful and use the advantages he had.

The engines of the Terror roared in protest as Khrussk pulled every desperate dodge and movement in his ever-shrinking repertoire. For all its firepower and shield strength, it was a trundling toydarian compared to the swooping hawk that was its opponent.

Khrussk hissed in equal parts worry and fury as another glancing shot slashed across his weakening shields like a vibroknife from the muscle of a Wookie. Alarm klaxons blared their ear-splitting cry, the reactor struggling to survive the onslaught of such weapons. Who in the name of the scorekeeper was this person, to be so heavily armed with advanced weaponry? If Khrussk could get his hands on them, he would rip them in two for inconveniencing him so.

The Terror fell into another series of wild pirouettes and unexpected dodges, two of its auto-turrets, which were blindly firing in all their underfunded glory, were struck dead on and disabled. Only the forward-facing weapons and a single turret remained, barring the multitude of torpedoes left to Khrussk's disposal. The former was useless, considering Khrussk was the one being chased, and the latter could only be a makeshift mine.

Khrussk's tongue lashed out with increasing agitation, his narrowed eyes scanning the console before him and weighing his options. His sensors warned him of something being vented from the large freighter/cruiser combo, but between him and it was a vast expanse of space and two extremely persistent pursuers. Khrussk was no coward, and the idea of abandoning a job and his compatriots did not sit well in his heart, but dying was an even more effect dissuading factor.

A few quick calculations and a wince later, and Khrussk knew the only good 'thing' that would come from this job was the tax write-off for repairs on the Terror. He would try to save the cargo, but it all depended on the reaction of his foes.

Khrussk armed all the torpedoes left on his ship, the three concussion missiles and the ion torpedo, with their proximity detonator and letting them fall from under the wings of his ship. Quickly linking their warheads to the sensor profile of the larger of his two pursuers, Khrussk activated the propellant of the torpedoes. As soon as his impromptu distractions were on the move, he gunned what little power was left into his engines and tried to get some distance. Behind, all four torpedoes came to life, spinning and twisting in opposite directions before trying to converge on Deryn Kaaldos Deryn Kaaldos and his ship.

Dezik watched as the doors of the cargo bay suddenly opened revealing the nothingness of space. "ØⱧ ₭₳Ɽ₭ ₥Ɇ" he said before everything began violently being sucked out into space. Dezik fired a grappling hook from his DLT and held onto dear life as objects began being sucked out but as a large cargo box came in and hit him he was knocked into empty space with the rest of the cargo. He watched hopelessly as they moved further and further away from the transport cruiser.

He instantly felt the coldness of space, and while he was wearing a helmet with a limited oxygen supply and heating the thin vac suit he wore didn't provide much of either. He felt himself bump into a cargo space and held onto it, the lack of jets meant he was limited to his movement. Once he had oriented himself he snapped out his Veshet Blaster Pistol from under his wrist before sending a transmission to Deryn Kaaldos Deryn Kaaldos "ĐɆⱤɎ₦ ₮ⱧɆ V₳₵₵ɆĐ ₳ⱠⱠ ₮ⱧɆ ₵₳Ɽ₲Ø ł₦₵ⱠɄĐł₦₲ ₥Ɇ. ₦ɆɆĐ ₱ł₵₭-Ʉ₱ ₳₴₳₱ ฿Ɇ₣ØⱤɆ ł ⱤɄ₦ ØɄ₮ Ø₣ Ø2." he said before turning his comms off. He then held up his blaster pistol scanning the area for some form of escape or even the person behind his current predicament.

She heard the air change and felt gravity vanish. Her mind went into overdrive as she realized what was happening. She burst out of the crate, letting White's AI take over for him. The flight suit she was wearing let her move in the zero G environment, pushing her over fast to the nearest port as the doors opened further. Cargo was being lost, and fast. Dezik Agorr Dezik Agorr had already flown out, probably unprepared for such an event. Her own suit would let her survive, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was the cargo and that she didn't feel like being in open space with an enemy ship still lose.

Mariah managed to reach the port, hooking in her gauntlet and over-riding controls as fast as she could, the flight suits repulors were kept active trying to counter the pull of the air being sucked out as the doors continued to open. She managed to input the right built in commands to make the doors shut again, but even so there was already damage done and she could see Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud . No time, she was trying to reactivate the artificial gravity and magnetic locks as her heart beat faster hoping the Bounty Hunter didn't look her way and just outright shoot her.

She could hear Dezik's request for help, but just yet there wasn't much she could do about it. Even if the doors were commanded to be closing, she still was being pulled until the airlocks shut. And that meant her repulsors were still fighting to keep her in place. She might be able to use the ships tractor beam. But right now, that wasn't an option. She just wanted gravity back on...and then to get out of the line of sight of Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud because she really didn't feel like getting shot today.

And this was why she didn't like mercenary type jobs. This had gone so wrong. She only hoped she could save herself, whatever cargo hadn't already flown into space, and hopefully Dezik. She didn't even try to respond to him. Things were far too dangerous right now for her to multi-task on that.

Adi'ka was flying with the aircurrent. By the Heavenly Cutches! This was acually fun, evading at high speed the lose cargo crates rushing in the direction of the black nothingness.
She had planned to drop a little eggshaped ion grenade in the hold. But at the moment the device would have been sucked into space too.
Her plan worked too well.

Flying by the terrified crew member or guard who was trying to control all the damage at a terminal the black clad little Mandalorian raised her arm.
The... woman she guessed by the shape of the hightech suit was working to save the ship. Brave! And Adi'ka wished her luck. As she said to herself earlier: Nobody had to die for some stupid animals.

Mariah saw for one terrible moment into an array of miniature weapon muzzles at the forearm of the armor. The clearly non-human Mandalorian seemed with her bodyshape and ear protection like a black bunny of death.
But it was only for a moment. Than the hand of the small attacker tipped at the helmet. Mariah heared only a "What´s up, med droid?" over the roaring of the stormwind and the armored lagomorph was out of the closing hangar doors, skillfully evading debris and the crates with the precious cargo,

Out in the silence of space a confetti of debris was tumbling around... and a stormtrooper. And he was alive as her rangefinder said! No normal stormtrooper this one. Brave one too. In his situation he still tried in the great nothing to shot at something.
Black as the surounding space Adi'ka flied stealthy in the direction of the man, undetectable in her stygian alloy for sensors and the naked eye alike, she SLAMMED into the back of the tough soldier. Bouncing away from him and sending him at the same time to the vessel ahead to find an airlock.

Nobody should die because of stupid animals... not even a stormtrooper!

Seeing one droid down and his senses screaming Avolich ducks low and rolls to the side his limp arm trailing uselessly behind. As he turns his attention to White-5 he hears the rush of O2 escaping the cargo bay. Good job kid flashes through his mind as he rushes the droid his sanity restored somewhat and swings his club in a heavy overhanded blow aiming at destroying the weapon in the droid's hands satisfied with the show of restraint even if he misses. As his swing finishes he steps back. “Mission's done cargo's gonna be dead before it can be recovered no point in the continued violence if sure your master would prefer you in one piece” Stepping back he holsters his club hoping to stay in control long enough to get off ship but ready to draw and swing . “I'm gonna take an escape pod and get out of your metaphorical hair” a slight crazed laugh and song in his voice. “Professional courtesy and all I'd rather not surrender and just make this a minor net loss for both of us seeing as things have gone tits up on both sides”

As he continues to back away he grunts the pain of his limb hitting him again normally he'd have just booked it and got spaced but with the hole in his suit he wasn't going to risk it. Typing a quick good job to Adi'ka with his good hand without actually looking at the datapad years of experience helping with such an action. Weighing his options he books it if he can keeping just enough of his senses available to dodge if he needed to should the droid decide that it had enough of a beef with him to try finishing the fight. “Been fun”

He saw the cargo fling out of the hold. Air was sucked into the vacuum of space, but those tunqstoid boxes that contained the creatures were pressurized and, obviously since they are pressurized, had their own oxygen. By the sight of this, he knew that he had no time time to finish this fight. "When I see your face, I know I must protect my place - Oh, keep your rifle by your side!" The song continued on as he sent out his own concussion missiles, locking onto the Terror through the targetting system connected to his optic nerves just as Khrussk would begin his offense. Three missiles barreled through the void of space, crossing paths with the Terror's towards it while he made his evasive maneuvers. Now, Deryn was a good pilot. Certainly, but not good enough.

He did the same spin from earlier as he accelerated towards the cargo bay, evading one of the missiles before dipping just enough on the spin to evade another but the sudden halt of rotation made dodging the next two difficult as they attacks from above and below. He felt the first hit the hull of his ship, tilting him upwards as the other sweeped on the "deck". "Kark! Eat Bantha poo doo, sleemo!" As he stabilized and continued forward, his PBA-01 Hyper Pressure Cannon fired up again, charging for the next shot. One of the concussion missiles had taken out one of the AG-2G Cannons while the other blasted his Beamrail Gauss Cannon to bits.

Meanwhile, the starfighter followed the Terror. With only the front facing guns and a single point-defense turret left, the starfighter took advantage of it, slipping into the blindspot of the weapons as it began to bombard the Terror at close range with its two Baragwin Ion-Cannons, deliver both ion and concussive damage. The Baragwin Ion-Cannons were aimed primarily towards the back of the ship's Sublight Drives, the Ion and the Concussive damage meat to destabilize the ship's movements by both interfering with its functions and knocking it out of balance. The Terror already had lower maneuverability than an HWK-290, this would be adding to it, if not removing it entirely. As they drove, the PBA-01 Hyper Pressure Cannon would fire, bearing down a continuous beam of energy ahead of the Terror instead of directly on it, hoping it would instead run into it, taking advantage of its now likely reduced mobility to get a big shot in.

"Hold on just a bit longer, Agorr!" He said as he made a break towards the Cruiser while firing, letting the targeting system do the work from their as his Sublight Drives pushed forward to the cargo bay to pick up both Agorr and the still bouncing, very much alive, goods.

Objective: Escape.

In the grand scheme of cost-profit analysis, this operation could be best described as 'indescribably skewed'. The Terror was not designed to take this kind of punishment, it was made to be close-air-support and heavy transport. It was outmatched in every way, damaged nearly beyond repair, and now on the run from a much faster ship.

Khrussk was an old bounty hunter, by both the trade's expected survival and his species', and as such knew when to cut his losses. He didn't have time to set a hyperspace waypoint and redirect himself, so Khrussk opted for something very risky; a blind jump.

The shields were already down, so Khrussk redirected whatever he could spare into the hyperdrive. Just when his foes were sweeping down to put an end to Khrussk's illustrious career, the hyperdrive roared to life and propelled the freighter in hyperspace. Blue flashed all around the damaged cockpit, and only when he didn't feel the ship explode and vent him did Khrussk sigh in equal parts relief and fury. Khrussk fell back and ran a hand of his scarred snout.

This was going to reflect poorly on him.

This was the reason Adi'ka disliked Trandoshans! More related to modern chickens of Batuu than to mighty dinosaurs of old!
The cowardly lizard did not even fired his weapons on the cargo! One missle would have been sufficient!

She hated this! Her options would be to either remotely call her ship and hope it would be here in time before her oxygen would run out, or to give up and surrender to the crew.

They had stormtroopers, so surrender was no option. They would also strip her of her armor. Also not an option. So she goes with calling her ship. "Sorry, handsome, the lizard chickened out", she send to her comrade on board, "Try to survive! I will bail you out und I will let the lizard pay up for it! I promise!"
Adi'ka now changed to silent running. Energetic dead for all but the best sensors in direct scan, a tiny piece of dust in an infinity filled with dust.

Than she send her distress call to her ship she parked exactly for this turn of events in the proximity of the hyperspace point. Out of sensor reach of the Terror, of course. She never trusted the Trandoshan. And she was right.

It was always good to have a "Plan Cresh" when all your other plans crash.

"Where there is money, there is fighting"
Dezik felt himself suddenly felt himself kicked in the back and hurling towards the cruiser. He turned as he flow spotting the Sepi and her distinct mandalorian visor. He let out a few shoots from his Veshet blaster pistol before he felt himself impact the cruiser. He grabbed onto it and looked out at the floating cargo. His enemy was out there somewhere. As Deryn got in to collec the cargo Dezik sent in a transmission. "I'm alright. One of our enemies is getting confused who their allies are. I'm nearby an airlock."

He deactivated his voice scrambler and opened an open communication for all to be heard. "A mandalorian eh? Should've expected one of you out here." he said scanning the open space. He checked his oxygen levels. He had 5 minutes before he needed to get inside. "I won't lie, you're little manauver back there does have me confused. You should always go at your enemy 100%." Dezik grinned under his helmet for the next part. "Just like me and the rest of the Sith legionnaires at Mandalore, or New Gratos as we call it now. I remember how your people were a pushover. We killed them in the streets, broke apart your clans and ripped your precious Beskar out the ground." Dezik was taunting Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud . He hadn't got a kill yet and he wasn't ready to leave without a fight just yet.

"So you just gonna run away like your people did at Mandalore and Concordia. Like you did at Wayland." he said, scanning the area waiting for something. He looked to the airlock next to him, ready to jump in should the need arise. But for now he was having a bit of fun.

At first, Mariah's fear escalated, her eye twitched as she saw Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud . Small size or not, there was clearly a danger from it. But instead of shooting Mariah, or launching some rocket or bomb, she tipped her helmet and said
What´s up, med droid?"
Mariah was...momentarily just clueless as to what to do. She watched the bunny of death fly out the doors.

She didn't have anything to say, she was absolutely excited that she wasn't dead however and quickly got to work re-activating the mag-locks and artificial gravity before she remembered that Dezik Agorr Dezik Agorr was still out there. She shut the airlocks for now. Finally bringing some calm to the inside of the ship. She looked out the viewport to see Dezik Agorr Dezik Agorr still outside. Taunting or not she didn't care. Adi hadn't killed her, and it didn't seem like the mandalorian was trying to kill him right now either.

She hooked up to the tractor beam reaching for Dezik attempting to pull him into the cargo bay, this time without the utter loss of air. "I'm bringing you in, then I'm going to try and bring in the cargo." she told him over the comms.

She looked at her wrist and made a quick response as she got an alert.

White switched to his self control. This meant faster response speed, but far less experience. The droid leapt away as Avolich came towards it, dropping the rifle and pulling out a bar-58-blaster-pistol with his right hand and a pv-16-sunfury-pulse-pistol with his left. However the big man didn't attack further, instead speaking. White kept distance but didn't attack.

White spoke quietly sending a messege to Mariah asking if he should continue engagement. She told him not to attack unless Avolich didn't do as he said he would. And so the droid followed quickly after Avolich Erasare Avolich Erasare . Keeping his distance but not attacking him further. "You are permitted to continue. Activating his ship's tractor beam, the ship's goods start to float inside, drawn into the light of the Warhawk. "The engine is blown. Ship needs time to move and more time spent here the more likely more trouble will find their way towards us." Once everything was inside, the bottom would close shut, breathable air now around Dezik for him to breath. "Let's get the cargo on my ship. Mine isn't the fastest with the Hyperdrive but at least its not a sitting duck." He's recently had it decked out anyways to increase the warp speed. Still rather slow but not the snail's pace that it was earlier.

"For now, though, don't let our visitors of the hook so easily. They could come back with more friends, more guns, and my ship has already taken a bit of a beating. He got a few of my guns, fighting in another ship battle isn't a favorable situation." He turned off the comms as he began to think of how the remaining intruders are going to escape. Escape Pods here don't have a hyperdrive, so if they were to try to take one on the chance that it does, he can take them. On the other hand, there might be another, backup crew made to extract them. Or they could space themselves - unlikely but possible.

"Did you get to shoot something?" He asked Dezik as he turned over to the hangar bay next to the escape pods. Extraction would have to take place here and so would the pod plans, any plan beyond those were beyond his comprehension at the moment.

Hearing the droid Avolich takes off for the escape pods without a second thought. Running as fast as he can he feels the adrenaline wearing off and the sheer exhaustion of the day starting to hit him. His skin returning to its normal tan shade. His every step felt like he was running through mud, but he persevered turning each corner at top speed his mind remembering the Intel on the ship and directing him in the right direction. Reaching the Escape pods he gives a wave to the cameras and the droid he presumed was still following him and hops into the closest one. “This day just went terribly”

Pulling the lever and hitting a couple of buttons with his good hand he seals the pod and launches it using what little propulsion control he had to get clear of the ship and the cargo. His good hand dancing across the controls and pulling wires he managed to change the distress beacon to the channel that Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud was using and sending the bunny a message “Out of the ship in an escape pod dead in the water and down an arm.” Sitting down he grabs his datapad and balances on one crossed leg in his lap. Scrambling his signal to mask his location he sends a message to what he hopes was his opposition “We know when to cut our losses and bail so with a nod I say good day. Also if you're ever in look of work Look me up anyone that can make a mess of our plans as well as you did well you can assume...” Double encoding the message to hide his location further he sends it and settles in hoping the mando bunny got to him before anyone else. His gaze trailing off into space as he reminisces about his youth when jobs went this badly as a norm. The thoughts drifting "That bloody lizard owes me a drink"

Adi'ka hoped her ship would be here, before the enemy would have repaired their ship and before the kriffed starfighter would start searching for them.

In the very moment she thought about it, a shadow blocked out the twinkling stars over her head. The sleek and at same time bulky shaped silhouette of her silent running gunship fall on her.

As she propelled herself to the ridiciously overweaponized engine of destruction, Adi'ka grinned an evil carnivorous rabbit smile. The Green Idiot in this game of Sabacc was now on the table. The Parsniper Mork has arrived!

First she would scoop the escape pod and than the enemy would learn that it was not over till the fat fishwoman sings in a Dac opera!

In the transport ship the francticly working crew had sensor warnings. "Captain!", one distressed sensor operator cried out, "Mass shadow entering realspace! It.. it must be a corvette or frigate by the readings of its mass."

The captain turned pale. "Visuals on the screen!"

The operator stammered even more. "S... sir, there are no visuals. W... we lost the track of the s... ship the moment it has appeared!"

The captain exhaled in shock. "Stealth ship", he whispered. The horror and fear of every capital ship´s crew.

Only in holo space operas ships were roaring in visual range shooting at each other by sight. The grim reality of war in the vastness of space was the scanning and tracking of ships on sensors, primaly by detecting the ion engine output of the enemy vessel. A ship not being detected in this way would only appear when it opens fire. And than it would be too late for countermeasures.

"Where there is money, there is fighting"
Dezik looked out into empty space. Nothing. His taunts hadn't worked and his opponent had left. He climbed back through an airlock and checked his oxygen levels, 2 minutes remaining. He turned on his comms to the rest of the defense team. "This is Dezik, I'm back inside. How are the animals looking, last I remember is I was vacc'd alongside them." he continued walking and then back into the cargo hold where he picked up his DLT and unhooked the grappling wire.

He opened his comms back up. "And how is everyone else? Any wounded? I know I sure as hell banged my head up pretty hard." he continued. That was a messy mission. Lots of running and hiding and little shooting. But he was alive and that's what mattered. After his blaster was back in a ready state he resumed his mundane patrol, in case any saboteurs hadn't made it out.
