- Sonic Nullifiers make sure that, in spite of the weight, the skeleton as well as the armor make as little noise as possible, allowing Deryn to still use his skills in stealth.

With the strength and power given, the strikes he can do are devastating, capable of breaking a Wookie's bones with ease, and that is not considering the weight added by his armor which is coupled with its attacks.

- All of its protections are only to protect itself. Deryn wraps his amorphous self around the skeleton before suiting up in the exoskeleton. As such, it is more like the skeleton is wearing him for armor.
Deryn has always had trouble creating form without an anchor point, unlike the rest of his species. His Cybernetic Power-Shell was made to mitigate that but even then, if it ever became compromised or shattered, Deryn would lose form as well as access to most of his weaponry and abilities. With this Power-Skeleton, he can at least retain the latter.
