- Combat Freighter: Modified with a range of defensive and offensive armaments, the "Echoy'la kir'manir" has been built to take a punch and dish it back should the crew come under fire from hostile vessels.
- GERS-01: The Ammunition Reloading System is only compatible for liquid based weapon systems meaning that kinetic weapons such as the torpedo launchers do not benefit from this modification.
- RMT-TR8 Hamada: An advanced heavy duty tractor beam, the Hamada is limited by the size of the "Echoy'la kir'manir" and is incapable of towing any vessels larger than the Freighter it is equipped to.
- RAAM-M3: The tactical ordinance jammer is capable of being overwhelmed by a larger number of missiles fired simultaneously. Additionally, the closer the hostile vessel, the faster they will be able to lock on and chance a hit before the M3 can counter their tracking capabilities.
- Ax-108's: The "Ground Buzzer" Blaster Cannons are anti-personnel weapon emplacements activated as a means of defense whilst the vessel is parked/stationary on the ground. These turrets act as a theft deterrent yet offer no additional fire-power during flight.
It's no secret to those who know Kauri Tu-Matauenga that he is a lover of good times and all unfortunate habits that follow. One of his all-time favorite activities usually following a hard drink, is to gamble his chances in Pazaak and whatever other means are on the table.
During a two week stay on Nal Hutta in the company of some very lesser-to-do characters, Kauri stumbled upon a rather high stakes game and in his inebriated state of mind, decided to wager his Beskar'gam against the Freighter's pilot.
By no account was he in any state to be playing and in seeing the man's intoxication, the gamble went forward. By some miracle, Kauri was dealt a winning hand and subsequently won the bet; However, enraged by this the pilot drew a blaster upon the man and shot him in the stomach.
Fortunately, the Hutts don't take violence and cheating so lightly during while hosting a multitude of wanted criminals within their hospitality. With witnesses to collaborate with Kauri's account of what happened, the pilot was executed and the Mandalorian's recovery paid for in order to encourage returning customers and further profits through their illicit gatherings.
While the Mandalorian would be spending the following month feeling sorry for himself, he would be doing so aboard his new Modified Freighter of which he dubbed "Echoy'la kir'manir". The Lost Soul.
