Avel Som was reclining calmly against the rocky ledge of the mountain overlooking a beautiful scenic view of the Rishi jungles. He loved coming up here to relax, away from all the people. He didn't really like people, though the Rishii themselves were decent enough. He did like birds, so avian people were some of the best people in his book. Not as good as actual birds though. He glanced up to where his companion Darkwing soared overhead.
Suddenly, the ebon hawk gave out a loud screech. Something was wrong! Darkwing telepathically projected an image into Avel Som's mind. People in metal armor setting Rishi citizens on fire and cutting them down. Avel Som may not particularly care for socializing with other people, but needless slaughter!? That was just evil. He felt the fury boiling within him, pushing his aggressive nature to the surface. "Let's go, Darkwing. We'll find these scum thugs and put an end to their bullying!"

Avel Som approached the refinery, Darkwing relaying directions. There were four of them, plus some weird looking machine. There were bodies everywhere, mostly Zabrak, but some Rishii and even a few Human. Vile monsters, he thought to himself. He kept himself out of sight, bringing his rifle up to peer through the scope. He picked one, aiming in the area of the neck right under the helmet. Not the best angle, but with luck he could still...
Nope. The slug pinged of the pauldron of the thug. Damn it! The armor is real beskar! He'd been hoping these were just bandits pretending to be Mandalorian. That was technically still possible, but taking them down would definitely not be easy. And now he'd alerted them that he was there.

KNOWN HISTORY:
Born on Ziost to a Sith Pureblood mother who disdained him for being not only mostly human, but also not Force-sensitive, he was abandoned without ever even receiving an actual name. He took the moniker of Mnoi Akûti, or "Blue Eyes" in High Sith, due to it being a defining characteristic. His blue eyes and tan skin really make him stand out amongst other Sith, and other Sith Purebloods looks down on him for his human characteristics. Due to his treatment, he generally hates other Sith and has a disdain for Sith Traditions. Gowing up alone on the frozen wasteland of Ziost has caused him to be distrustful of others but has also taught him how to survive and fend for himself. He has learned to make use of what he has, even being able to make gear from discarded scrap. When he was finally able, he eventually caught a ride across the galaxy to Tatooine, trading a frozen desert for a hot one. Tatooine was a world for outcasts, so to speak, so he was relatively unbothered there, mostly doing odd jobs here and there in hopes of saving up money for his own personal ship and to create his own personal weapon to bring a little vengeance against the Sith.
