STRENGTHS
  • Beskar: Strong metal that is very strong and has high resistance to a variety of damage types.
  • Plas-bonded Ostrine: Ore that absorbs great amounts of heat. Plas-bonding modifies the ore to be able to instantaneously freeze objects that came in contact with it.
  • Built to be a tank in both offense and defense.
WEAKNESSES
  • Plas-bonded Ostrine: Dangerous to handle with bare hands or even thin gloves, as it can cause frostbite.
  • Coverage: Like standard beskar'gam, not every part of the body is covered by beskar, leaving certain parts less resistant to certain types of damage.
  • Very bulky and extremely heavy.
DESCRIPTION
This beskar'gam was first forged by Kalðr's grandfather and passed down to him through his father. It is made from high-carbon beskar steel alloyed with plas-bonded ostrine. The causes the armor to emit a chill that cools the surrounding area. The armor is also potentially dangerous to anyone trying to touch the armor without proper protection against extreme cold. The armor protects against extreme heat conditions and masks the wearer from thermal sensors. This particular armor has a signet of the snow bear, the Ísbjørn family insignia, on the right pauldron. The name Htagir'Jorir means "Ice Bear" in Mando'a. Kalðr later added to it to turn it into a heavy set of infantry beskar'gam to suit him as part of the Jorir Si'kayha.
