  • Very Nimble | The CX-902I is designed to be extremely nimble being able to reach very high speeds while also being extremely maneuverable in order to make quickly insert and extract operatives from hostile worlds.
  • AI Assistance | The CX902I is equipped with AI-powered Droid Brains and Supercomputers designed to provide assistance to Pilots, allowing them to react quicker to certain high-stakes situations which can improve their survivability rates.
  • Remote Controlled | Just like the original CX Dagger vessel, the CX902I can be remotely controlled by special commlinks worn by their pilots as long as both the pilot and the vessel are on the same planet, allowing for rapid extraction from certain locations.
  • Extreme Durability | Equipped with extremely durable materials, extensive shielding and various countermeasures, the CX902I is capable of taking a beating from other starships for prolonged periods of time increasing the survivability rates of their operators.
  • Stealth Systems | The CX902I is equipped with Stealth Systems allowing it to slip in and out of hostile territory undetected which can improve the performance of operators during their missions.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Production | Due to the vast amount of systems integrated within the CX902I, it is a very expensive vessel and as such replacing or repairing a CX902I is extremely difficult with only a few models in exsistence.
  • Starfighter Combat | Despite it's strong durability, the CX902I is designed as an infiltration vessel first and as such it is not suited for combat against other starfighters and smaller warships like corvettes and cruisers.
  • Critical Failure | Despite it's extreme durability, the CX902I retains a crippling weakness to kinetic weaponry which can easily tear through it's hull, which can lead to a catastrophic failure that can outright destroy the vessel
DESCRIPTION

The CX902 Dagger-Class Infiltrator was the result of a collaboration between Director Daedalus Tarkin Daedalus Tarkin and Grand Admiral Marlon Sularen during the later days of the Dark Empire with the aim of creating a unique infiltrator vessel for Imperial Special Forces for rapid insertion and extraction on hostile worlds to carry out certain missions and operations. However the six CX902 Daggers produced by the Tarkin Initiative never saw widespread usage and as the Dark Empire collapsed all six vessels would remain in the hands of the Initiative even as Sularen moved on to form the Imperial Confederation along with other Imperials factions.

Eventually one CX902 Dagger-Class would find itself in the hands of the Black Market soon being auctioned by the Black Sun at the Petrusian Auction Hall. Sularen, eager to reclaim at least one Infiltrator so that his engineers at SularenCo could reverse-engineer it and incorporate new technologies. After an expensive back-and-forth with competing bidders, Sularen would eventually win the bid and acquire the CX902 Dagger which would see minimal usage by Imperial Special Forces before finally being brought to the Cholganna Drive Yards so that work could begin on a new and improved variant of the CX902 Dagger.

The result of this was the CX902I Dagger-Class Infiltrator, a cutting edge stealth ship that would incorporate all of the strengths of the original CX902 design with the addition of new technologies and systems that would further increase it's effectiveness such as stealth systems, improved flight systems, more effective AI systems and improved offensive and defensive capabilities. In the hands of Imperial Special Forces operatives, it is a versatile and deadly tool that excels in missions that require quick strikes and surgical precision such as sabotage, reconnaissance, intel-gathering and high-value target elimination, ensuring that the agenda of the Imperial Confederation is advanced regardless of the odds.
