 Cursed or Chaos?

Cira Cira

Oh excuuuuuuuse me I'm sorry, people wanted safe spaces on a site NAMED CHAOS

I MUST BE IN THE CIS OR NIO FORUMS RIGHT NOW, BRB RENAMING "FEEDBACK" THREADS TO "JUST AGREE WITH ME"

Nah, the feedback thread is great. One doesn't have to agree with the original thread poster.

Just saying, big guy, remember the "polite" part.

Also, if you don't like how other people spend their time observing your private roleplays, maybe don't post a Feedback thread focusing on your "threads" looking for sheeptastic validation.

Did you have to take classes on how to be an ass or does it come naturally? Wasn't looking for validation from internet strangers, especially since I stated I was not going to change.

I have done nothing but politely disagree this entire thread! I AM THE BASTION OF POLITENESS RIGHT NOW.

You could nail #2 by posting back to your partners so threads like these don't come into existence.

Nuh-uh. You are close to "Shrek face" levels of homeless Eric right now.

But, if you want to cast stones. How is your posting life? Have you been a faithful partner? Come my child, tell me your woes

Delila Castillon Delila Castillon But yeah, as I've said before, unfortunately, public threads have a tendency to kinda go to a standstill, especially when invasions or the huge threads end up taking precedence.

In my own experience, normally an open thread of about 4 people or so can maintain slow, but steady activity. Although to help with this, I've created small PM chat rooms to keep the poke going.

Baa baa, have you any wool. Let's do a deep dive, sheeple.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/junkyard-dogs.151120/ - a person IN THIS @$%#ING THREAD AGREEING WITH YOU HAS BEEN WAITING ON A POST FROM YOU SINCE SUNDAY. Did you guys just kill the thread? Rethink another idea? Am I being cyberpunk'd?

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/staying-current.151107/#post-2039628 - you just posted yesterday. Your partner, Rhys, has been keeping up with posts every 24 hours, which is pretty steady. He posted tuesday. You posted wednesday. Today is thursday.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/...nster-hunting-now-closed.151193/#post-2039630 - You have signed up with like 5 other people for a thread that should be starting soon. It just ended the LFG recruitment yesterday.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/pardon-the-interruption-spacers-guild.149898/#post-2035195 - you should post here, these people have been waiting on you for like a week and a half.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/the-especially-fancy-spacer-guild-ball.150506/#post-2033107 - You've got Jerec waiting on you here. The other person you're waiting on is Rhys, again, so while he's posting to 2 of your other threads you can nudge him to post back to Jerec's rotation, or you can just move on without him and give Jon some story. Definitely don't keep a beautiful man like Jerec Asyr waiting.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/who’s-scruffy-lookin.150367/#post-2038814 - This one looks like you actually got stood up by the OP- though your response was about 5 days after the second most recent post. Maybe give Deagan Hunt a ping, see if they're still interested, as there seems to be large gaps inbetween posts.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/the-great-hutt-space-endurance-race.150827/#post-2035499 - This thread you joined has several posts after you, stuttered this past Saturday, and hasn't seen a post from you since the 1st. Are you done or did you abandon.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/fire-and-water.150445/ - This private thread you're in is a valid abandonment, but it does share one thing with the other valid abandonment so far in this list - Cira Cira is the one stalling it, as she also writes Deagan Hunt - the other person that abandoned a thread with you.

https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/lost-city-of-salacia.141052/page-4 - Wait. This thread has been going on since June 2020. It's with your serial abandoner, Cira Cira . But the posts range in large varieties from weeks to even a month inbetween posts, and I'm wagering you're not specifically complaining about these in your OP. What is different about this thread that doesn't apply to the others? Also, it's literally your only thread with this Judah character.

ANSWER

It appears, at least within the last month of my detective work, your problem isn't "Cursed or Chaos."

It's mostly just Cira Cira .

Stop blaming your thread game issues on the rest of us, and go post to Arcturus Thesh.

I have never seen anything so savage. Like nothing against OP, just wow. Tefka really went all the way here. If I didn't know any better I would think Tefka was personally affected by this...

Delila Castillon Delila Castillon - It's not just Chaos. Since 2008, on over dozens of RP boards I've written on, LotR, Harry Potter, Star Trek Sims, etc. I value about 50% of my threads will go 'unfinished'. I plan for it now. I front load my posts. I bring extra NPCs for conversations. I break posting order. I hand wave things and just start other threads. But mostly, I keep to a strong rule of: 2 people is best. Group threads are messy 100% of the time. But 1v1 private threads have the greatest chance of actually finishing after 20 posts or so.

I'd say its just a part of the Pbp genre. Like email RP. It's flimsy by design. So as long as you temper your expectations, plan accordingly, and plot like there is no tomorrow? Smhhh. It's fine.

Also. Sometimes people in leadership just dip on you and leave you and your lady buddies feeling like 'da funk bro?'. And then everybody just sighs and walks away. Content never to bring it up again and to just move on to greener pastures. cough cough cough cough But ya know. I wouldn't know anything about that. :p

It feels like it's 2016 and I'm watching Cira and Tef in staff chat again.

Delila Castillon Delila Castillon I think people put "general" public threads at the bottom of their priority list and pvp(invasion) threads near the top. So when people start to lose their free time they prioritize the "important" threads and withdraw from the others when they feel they haven't posted to it in some arbitrary frame of time.

Possibly endemic to Chaos but more likely human nature
