The trip with Olarra had been interest, getting to the temple after she had finished with her obligations was important and Matsu hovered there at the lakeside with a small moments grace. The city thrived, the temple itself was a gleaming jewel and they shared much of it. She was waiting for the small things to finish up as Jara was there. The massive beorni in a temperature controlling robes. "Grandmaster." His voice rumbled across the water and she was moving. News from the High Republic about their jedi was interesting to listen to as she shifted the connection from the temple towards the city and the padawans who had come here with them. "Jara is everything going well?" She asked it and the large jedi gave a nod of his head before he was leading the way and she followed behind him.

"All it going well, we have continued to work on the funding for Krass and yours latest projects." He said it as Matsu was gliding through the streets and offering a nod before the pair could go inside. The temple was made for anyone but it housed the silver jedi's auditors, the ones in charge of the expenses of the jedi and she had a ship being brought in as it was above them. Docked so that the padawans and if some other jedi wished to come and join them. They wer heading to get crystals or practice their skills. "THose projects are very important Jara." She said it while being there. The master looking at her as his eyebrow raised up. "There is a beskar casting for a rocking horse that is labeled Hanae... and only that." Matsu looked at him and smiled. "Very important. My daughter only has the best that will teach her and we have the mandalorian knights teaching her the finer points of combating beskar."

THe jedi was looking at her and he only offered a laugh that was deep and in his chest before he spoke. "And how does her mother feel about her baby learning how to fight?" He was saying it and Matsu looked at him. "Hanna is fine with it, she knows our children are highly skilled and capable." She said it as they were going into the inner courtyard, and she looked at many of the padawans who were around and their training programs were being used. The Matrons of the temple and instructors working as above the walls practically shimmered with screens and holograms of the galactic markets. Jara was leading the way as Matsu remained there and Hanae was there with her as she lifted the girl up and put her on her shoulder while taaking a position in the air so the pair of them could eat a little of the kyber candies. She was wondering if Olarra or any of them were ready.

The message on her training datapad had been delightfully brief, but it had sent a sudden spike of raw, electric adrenaline straight through Olarra's chest. Master Matsu's instruction to pack light for an active field expedition meant her weeks of theoretical study were finally crossing over into reality. She had spent the last hour in her temple quarters frantically tossing aside her heavy, soot-stained workshop apron and trading it for comfortable, flexible training gear that wouldn't snag on rugged terrain. After a hasty double-check of her personal gear pouch, she had dashed out into the fresh air, her short, styled ivory hair catching the ambient breeze as she made a absolute line for the gathering point.

Now standing on the pristine white stone of the inner courtyard, she was finally starting to find her footing in the quiet rhythms of the enclave. The whirlwind of settling her business affairs and temporarily suspending operations at the forge back in Kafrene given way to the last several weeks of fundamental lessons, meditation, and learning the true names for the unmapped instincts that had guided her hands since childhood. Though her clothing was different, the golden-yellow achievement markings across her cerulean skin remained a stark, bright reminder of the artisan she still was.

She shaded her eyes as she looked up toward the shimmering holographic displays of the galactic financial markets floating above the courtyard walls. Beside her, a massive, furred Beorni Master in heavy, temperature-regulated robes rumbled a deep laugh as he finished reviewing logistical project data with the Grandmaster. Olarra flashed the giant a warm, highly amused smile. Even in a sanctuary of mystics, she found immense comfort in the fact that it was someone else's job to keep track of the funding ledger sheets for once.

Her gaze shifted over to Master Matsu, who was currently floating effortlessly in the air with little Hanae perched on her shoulder, the pair casually sharing a handful of translucent candies.

Olarra felt a familiar wave of anticipation ripple through her bones, her baseline focus sharpening. She had spent the last several rotations studying the structural breakdown of the Order's traditional weapons, dissecting schematic slates until her mind was dizzy with geometry. But today was entirely different. The blueprints and component calculations were done; now, she was standing on the precipice of the true gathering.

She stepped closer to the floating Grandmaster, her face lit with a bright, entirely eager grin as she took in the gathered circle of Padawans and Knights assembling for the expedition. The prospect of venturing out to locate her very first alignment crystal made her internal energy hum like an active induction coil.

"The droids back home would never believe me if I told them I was getting school credit for mining," Olarra chuckled free-spiritedly, giving her alchemical leather wrist wraps a quick, secure tug as she looked up at Matsu. "I've spent half my life digging through scrap piles for raw salvage, but I have a feeling hunting for a living stone is going to be completely different."

She paused, looking out toward the rugged landscape beyond the temple borders before looking back up at her master with an inquisitive tilt of her head.

"So, what's the plan for this trip Master?" Olarra asked, her curiosity entirely wide-open. "Where exactly are we heading to look for these, and what should we be ready to run into out there?"

The Silver Jedi Temple still felt... strange. Not in a bad way. Just different. It wasn't the polished stone beneath Kyrie's boots or the quiet murmur of Padawans moving between lessons. It wasn't even the towering architecture that seemed almost impossibly clean compared to the spaceports and backwater settlements she had wandered through since waking with no memories. It was the feeling. Peace. She wasn't used to it.

A small smile tugged at her lips as she crossed the courtyard wearing simple athletic clothing instead of the black and violet armor that usually accompanied her work. The armor remained aboard her ship. Master Matsu had once told her that not every problem required preparing for a fight. Kyrie was trying—really trying—to remember that.

Brown eyes wandered across the bustling courtyard. Jedi trained with wooden sabers, instructors corrected stances, and temple staff moved about with practiced purpose. For a brief moment she simply watched, still amazed that people willingly gathered somewhere to learn instead of compete.

Then she spotted the familiar sight of Grandmaster Matsu floating effortlessly above the courtyard with little Hanae happily perched upon her shoulder. Kyrie's face brightened. "Master Matsu!" She raised a hand in greeting before jogging the last few steps, slowing herself before she got too close. Another lesson. Don't barrel into people because you're excited.

Her gaze drifted upward toward Hanae. "...Hi, Hanae." A grin spread across Kyrie's face as she offered the child an awkward little wave before looking back to Matsu. "I made it."

There was a hint of pride in the simple statement. "I even packed light like you said." She lifted the small satchel hanging from one shoulder as evidence before letting it fall back into place. "I wasn't exactly sure what we'd be doing, but..." Her eyes wandered toward the wilderness beyond the temple grounds. "...going somewhere instead of just talking about the Force sounded exciting."

She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "I've been practicing. The breathing... slowing down before I act..." A quiet laugh escaped her. "I'm still not great at it, but I think I'm getting a little better."

Only then did she notice the unfamiliar blue-skinned woman nearby. Kyrie offered an easy smile and a small wave. "Hi. I'm Kyrie." No grand introduction. No title. Just Kyrie.

Her attention drifted back toward Matsu, anticipation practically radiating from her.
"So..." she asked, unable to suppress her curiosity any longer, "...are we really going looking for living crystals? Because that sounds way cooler than anything I've ever hunted before."

Seo arrived only a few moments after the others, crossing the white stone courtyard with the same quiet, measured pace that seemed to follow her wherever she went. The Temple of the Economic Watch had become familiar over the past weeks, though she still found herself pausing occasionally to admire the life within it. Padawans sparred beneath the watchful eyes of their instructors, scholars crossed between lecture halls carrying datapads beneath one arm, and merchants from Navarro moved comfortably alongside Jedi without either group seeming out of place. It was exactly what the Silver Jedi had always tried to build: a place where ordinary life and the Force existed together rather than apart.

Her attention settled first upon Matsu and little Hanae, the familiar sight bringing an easy smile to her face. Jara's laughter echoed across the courtyard as he concluded his conversation with the Grandmaster, and Seo dipped her head respectfully toward the Beorni Master before turning toward the small gathering beginning to form. Olarra stood with the unmistakable eagerness of someone on the verge of discovering something she had dreamt about for weeks. Nearby, another young woman approached carrying little more than a satchel and an abundance of enthusiasm. The face was unfamiliar, but the warmth in her greeting made introductions seem unnecessary to force.

Seo returned the wave with a welcoming smile. "Hello, Kyrie. I am Seo Linn." Her gaze drifted briefly to the satchel hanging from the young woman's shoulder before a hint of amusement entered her eyes. "It seems you listened to Master Matsu and packed lightly." When Kyrie spoke about practicing her breathing and slowing herself before acting, Seo's smile deepened almost imperceptibly. "That is encouraging to hear. Growth often begins with the smallest changes, especially the ones we notice within ourselves before anyone else does."

She turned then to Olarra, whose excitement seemed almost palpable. It reminded Seo of someone standing on the threshold of a door she had searched for her entire life. "You are right," she said gently. "It will be completely different from searching through salvage." Her gold eyes wandered briefly toward the mountains beyond the temple before returning to the Pantoran. "You can mine kyber, but you cannot truly find it that way. The crystal is not simply another resource hidden beneath stone. It is alive within the Force, and this journey is as much about learning to listen as it is about learning where to walk."

For a moment she allowed the thought to settle before continuing. "There may be caves. There may be difficult terrain. Perhaps wildlife. Perhaps nothing more dangerous than ourselves." A faint smile touched her lips. "Often the greatest challenge is arriving with expectations. Kyber has a habit of ignoring them."

Her gaze passed between Olarra and Kyrie, lingering on each of them in turn. Though they had come to the Order by very different paths, they now stood at the beginning of the same journey. "Today is not about proving yourselves worthy of a crystal," she said softly. "Nor is it a competition to see who finds one first. Walk with patience. Observe. Listen to the world around you, and to yourselves. If a crystal chooses to answer, it will not be because you forced it to. It will be because, for a moment, you learned how to hear."

Only then did Seo glance toward Matsu, a quiet smile settling across her features. "I believe we're ready whenever you are, Master."

As the ship landed nearby, Connel appreciated everything that Master Ike had to say. She has been a mentor, a friend and respectfully more over the years. Then of course she brought up the last part and Connel just sighed. You HAD to make it weird… Laughing as he climbed the loading ramp, Connel just shook his head

She asked him to show up in secret. Why? Well you would have to ask her, but Connel wasn’t sure himself either. He came though. He had known her all his life and he trusted her with everything, even if he didn’t think she was completely sane at times. From trips through hellacious inferno type worlds, to the most peaceful places in the galaxy, every trip with her was an adventure in the best of terms.

He wasn’t here alone. As he stepped off the ramp of the ship, Lira was here, which meant so was Buster. They did not get enough trips together, and so he was happy to bring them along this time. They were welcome and could see the sights of this magnificent place. Of course that is provided Buster did not run amok, which of course he had a habit of doing, and would here as well.

Connel quietly walked with them around the mammoth Temple of Economic Watch, noticing the beauty of its intricate carvings and the serene atmosphere it exuded. Despite the potential chaos Buster might cause, Connel couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and wonder at being in such a historically significant location. Just another adventure with Master Ike, I suppose.

With that, he kissed his wife, scratched his best friend behind the ear and walked towards the group he saw in the distance.

Novac had been in a bit of a rush due to his lateness. But luckily he wasn't to late, though he wished he got here earlier to look around the beautiful temple. He'd been to temples before, usually there where abandoned however. The tall white towers where amazing, though he'd probably end up hurting his neck looking up the entire time.

Finally reaching the group, " Sorry im late, got caught up with somethin on my ship." giving a small bow to everyone as he spoke. "so where exactly will be be heading grandmaster?."

Seo's gentle, grounded words washed over her, neatly shifting her perspective before her thoughts could scatter. Hearing the senior Jedi reframe the entire trip as a lesson in listening rather than a mere salvage haul reminded Olarra to slow her breathing and redirect her eager spirit, and she nodded along in quiet appreciation. She offered a warm, welcoming grin back to Kyrie as the other young woman introduced herself, instantly liking the bright, completely unfiltered enthusiasm radiating from her.

Before she could offer a proper reply, a low hiss of approaching scales drew her attention across the pristine white paving stones.

Novac came sliding up to the gathering with a hasty bow, offering a quick apology for getting held up by a minor ship issue. Olarra's amber eyes lit up with instant, undeniable excitement at the sight of the hooded, serpentine Knight. She hadn't seen him since that fateful, chaotic afternoon when he had crowded into her mobile sanctuary alongside the masters, and his sudden arrival made the looming trip feel entirely complete.

"Hey! Good to see you made it," Olarra called out with a bright, welcoming wave, her natural bouncy energy immediately returning to her voice. "I was hoping I'd get tp see you again! Don't worry, you didn't miss our step-off command yet—we're still figuring out the map parameters."
Her friendly banter cut short as a heavy, deliberate set of footsteps echoed from a nearby landing pad.

Olarra turned her head, her attention naturally drawn to the newcomer. Walking straight toward their circle was a towering, heavily built man who seemed to radiate an aura of intensity. She thought he looked less like a traditional mystic and far more like a armored, elite soldier. Her golden eyes widened a fraction of a millimeter as her focus involuntarily traced his silhouette, taking in the rugged framework of his specialized gear and the graceful confidence in his stride. There was something to him which she found surprisingly alluring. Olarra found herself silently admiring him before a brief and unexpected prickle slid up her neck. She caught herself just as quickly, keeping her expression perfectly neutral and her thoughts entirely to herself as she deliberately adjusted the alchemical leather wrist wraps over her training gear. She hoped she had maintained the image of a focused, capable student, completely unbothered as she anchored her attention back onto the group.

Glancing back toward Matsu and Seo, a slight smile remaining on Olarra's lips. The circle was officially growing, the atmosphere was charging up with wild new dynamics, and she was more than ready for her Grandmaster to give them a direction to march in.

There was quite the crowd here and Matsu remained as Hanae was looking at them and whispered. "Mommy that lady is blue." Matsu looked at her for a moment and then only grinned a little to herself while she moved and put Hanae down in the little line as she spoke. The girl staying in the air as Matsu added her to the small line of people to take on the trip. "A good question." She said it while looking at them and floated in front of them as Hanae was rolling end over end in the air and she ate some fo the candy. "It is traditional within the jedi for one to go on the gathering... It is a sacred rite of passage to one and there are a few worlds that have crystals but most go to Ilum."

She said it and was holding her hand as the air shimmered. The ripple forming as she entangled the matter there and within the front of the temple itself. Showing it like a heat shimmer while she was connecting it using the Netherworld of Unbeing. The bridge and ribbon across the universe for a force user. "But Ilum is where all go and I wanted to give for some of you a chance to see the origins as it were. There are many places where the jedi have had their origin and beginnings but the first jedi temple is important." She said it and the heat image changed showing the island and the temple. "The first jedi temple has been in use by my Jadeite, artisans, engineers, smoths who work with the force. It is a stepping stone to the Celestial forge."

SHe was looking at them and moved around to each with a smile. "So with he untouched kyber caves on Ahch-To we are going. it is not as grand and ceremonial as the caves of Ilum but it is an island of the force. With creatures some of you have never seem possibly. It is also a place a jedi should visit at a point in time along with some of the other origin worlds of the jedi to get a sense of scope and past lives." She said it and the shimmer became a little solid as Hanae was looking at it and moved in the air. "We get to go on an adventure." Matsu looked at her and used a finger to hold a loop on the girls belt so she didn't surge forward through it. "So step through and we can go."

Seo listened quietly as Matsu spoke, her attention resting as much upon those gathered as upon the words themselves. There was something she had appreciated about moments like these. Every Jedi arrived by a different road. Some had been raised within an Order, others had discovered the Force only recently, while a few, like Olarra, had spent years allowing it to guide their lives before ever giving it a name. Yet they now stood together, each preparing to take another step along the same path.

A faint smile touched her lips as little Hanae eagerly floated toward the shimmering projection before Matsu gently caught the loop of her belt. The child's excitement was infectious, and Seo found herself quietly amused as her gaze drifted over the gathering. Kyrie's curiosity was written plainly across her expression, Olarra looked as though she could scarcely contain herself, Novac had settled comfortably into the group despite his late arrival, and another Jedi had joined them with his family. It was a diverse company, yet somehow it already felt like the beginning of a memorable journey.

When Matsu revealed their destination, Seo's attention lingered on the image of Ahch-To. Even after years as a Jedi, hearing the names of the ancient worlds still stirred something within her. "Few are given the opportunity to visit places so closely connected to our beginnings," she said softly. "The Force has a way of speaking differently in places where generations have sought to understand it. Whether that voice comes as clarity, questions, or quiet reflection, it is worth listening."

Her gold eyes settled briefly on Olarra and Kyrie before moving across the rest of the group. "Try not to measure your experience against anyone else's. Some may sense the Force immediately. Others may simply find themselves noticing the world around them in a new way. Neither is more valuable than the other." A gentle smile returned to her face. "The Gathering is as much about learning to trust yourselves as it is about finding a crystal."

She looked once more toward the shimmering gateway Matsu had woven into existence. Though she had witnessed remarkable demonstrations of the Force before, the sight still inspired a quiet sense of wonder. It served as a reminder that there was always more to learn, regardless of rank or experience.

Inclining her head respectfully toward the Grandmaster, Seo's voice carried quiet sincerity. "Thank you for allowing us to share in this journey, Master. It is not an opportunity any of us will soon forget."

With that, she fell silent. Her hands rested loosely before her as she waited patiently for Matsu to lead them onward, content to follow alongside the others when the Grandmaster gave the word.
