The trip with Olarra had been interest, getting to the temple after she had finished with her obligations was important and Matsu hovered there at the lakeside with a small moments grace. The city thrived, the temple itself was a gleaming jewel and they shared much of it. She was waiting for the small things to finish up as Jara was there. The massive beorni in a temperature controlling robes. "Grandmaster." His voice rumbled across the water and she was moving. News from the High Republic about their jedi was interesting to listen to as she shifted the connection from the temple towards the city and the padawans who had come here with them. "Jara is everything going well?" She asked it and the large jedi gave a nod of his head before he was leading the way and she followed behind him.

"All it going well, we have continued to work on the funding for Krass and yours latest projects." He said it as Matsu was gliding through the streets and offering a nod before the pair could go inside. The temple was made for anyone but it housed the silver jedi's auditors, the ones in charge of the expenses of the jedi and she had a ship being brought in as it was above them. Docked so that the padawans and if some other jedi wished to come and join them. They wer heading to get crystals or practice their skills. "THose projects are very important Jara." She said it while being there. The master looking at her as his eyebrow raised up. "There is a beskar casting for a rocking horse that is labeled Hanae... and only that." Matsu looked at him and smiled. "Very important. My daughter only has the best that will teach her and we have the mandalorian knights teaching her the finer points of combating beskar."

THe jedi was looking at her and he only offered a laugh that was deep and in his chest before he spoke. "And how does her mother feel about her baby learning how to fight?" He was saying it and Matsu looked at him. "Hanna is fine with it, she knows our children are highly skilled and capable." She said it as they were going into the inner courtyard, and she looked at many of the padawans who were around and their training programs were being used. The Matrons of the temple and instructors working as above the walls practically shimmered with screens and holograms of the galactic markets. Jara was leading the way as Matsu remained there and Hanae was there with her as she lifted the girl up and put her on her shoulder while taaking a position in the air so the pair of them could eat a little of the kyber candies. She was wondering if Olarra or any of them were ready.

FACTION: Order of the Silver Jedi

The message on her training datapad had been delightfully brief, but it had sent a sudden spike of raw, electric adrenaline straight through Olarra's chest. Master Matsu's instruction to pack light for an active field expedition meant her weeks of theoretical study were finally crossing over into reality. She had spent the last hour in her temple quarters frantically tossing aside her heavy, soot-stained workshop apron and trading it for comfortable, flexible training gear that wouldn't snag on rugged terrain. After a hasty double-check of her personal gear pouch, she had dashed out into the fresh air, her short, styled ivory hair catching the ambient breeze as she made a absolute line for the gathering point.

Now standing on the pristine white stone of the inner courtyard, she was finally starting to find her footing in the quiet rhythms of the enclave. The whirlwind of settling her business affairs and temporarily suspending operations at the forge back in Kafrene given way to the last several weeks of fundamental lessons, meditation, and learning the true names for the unmapped instincts that had guided her hands since childhood. Though her clothing was different, the golden-yellow achievement markings across her cerulean skin remained a stark, bright reminder of the artisan she still was.

She shaded her eyes as she looked up toward the shimmering holographic displays of the galactic financial markets floating above the courtyard walls. Beside her, a massive, furred Beorni Master in heavy, temperature-regulated robes rumbled a deep laugh as he finished reviewing logistical project data with the Grandmaster. Olarra flashed the giant a warm, highly amused smile. Even in a sanctuary of mystics, she found immense comfort in the fact that it was someone else's job to keep track of the funding ledger sheets for once.

Her gaze shifted over to Master Matsu, who was currently floating effortlessly in the air with little Hanae perched on her shoulder, the pair casually sharing a handful of translucent candies.

Olarra felt a familiar wave of anticipation ripple through her bones, her baseline focus sharpening. She had spent the last several rotations studying the structural breakdown of the Order's traditional weapons, dissecting schematic slates until her mind was dizzy with geometry. But today was entirely different. The blueprints and component calculations were done; now, she was standing on the precipice of the true gathering.

She stepped closer to the floating Grandmaster, her face lit with a bright, entirely eager grin as she took in the gathered circle of Padawans and Knights assembling for the expedition. The prospect of venturing out to locate her very first alignment crystal made her internal energy hum like an active induction coil.

"The droids back home would never believe me if I told them I was getting school credit for mining," Olarra chuckled free-spiritedly, giving her alchemical leather wrist wraps a quick, secure tug as she looked up at Matsu. "I've spent half my life digging through scrap piles for raw salvage, but I have a feeling hunting for a living stone is going to be completely different."

She paused, looking out toward the rugged landscape beyond the temple borders before looking back up at her master with an inquisitive tilt of her head.

"So, what's the plan for this trip Master?" Olarra asked, her curiosity entirely wide-open. "Where exactly are we heading to look for these, and what should we be ready to run into out there?"

The Silver Jedi Temple still felt... strange. Not in a bad way. Just different. It wasn't the polished stone beneath Kyrie's boots or the quiet murmur of Padawans moving between lessons. It wasn't even the towering architecture that seemed almost impossibly clean compared to the spaceports and backwater settlements she had wandered through since waking with no memories. It was the feeling. Peace. She wasn't used to it.

A small smile tugged at her lips as she crossed the courtyard wearing simple athletic clothing instead of the black and violet armor that usually accompanied her work. The armor remained aboard her ship. Master Matsu had once told her that not every problem required preparing for a fight. Kyrie was trying—really trying—to remember that.

Brown eyes wandered across the bustling courtyard. Jedi trained with wooden sabers, instructors corrected stances, and temple staff moved about with practiced purpose. For a brief moment she simply watched, still amazed that people willingly gathered somewhere to learn instead of compete.

Then she spotted the familiar sight of Grandmaster Matsu floating effortlessly above the courtyard with little Hanae happily perched upon her shoulder. Kyrie's face brightened. "Master Matsu!" She raised a hand in greeting before jogging the last few steps, slowing herself before she got too close. Another lesson. Don't barrel into people because you're excited.

Her gaze drifted upward toward Hanae. "...Hi, Hanae." A grin spread across Kyrie's face as she offered the child an awkward little wave before looking back to Matsu. "I made it."

There was a hint of pride in the simple statement. "I even packed light like you said." She lifted the small satchel hanging from one shoulder as evidence before letting it fall back into place. "I wasn't exactly sure what we'd be doing, but..." Her eyes wandered toward the wilderness beyond the temple grounds. "...going somewhere instead of just talking about the Force sounded exciting."

She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "I've been practicing. The breathing... slowing down before I act..." A quiet laugh escaped her. "I'm still not great at it, but I think I'm getting a little better."

Only then did she notice the unfamiliar blue-skinned woman nearby. Kyrie offered an easy smile and a small wave. "Hi. I'm Kyrie." No grand introduction. No title. Just Kyrie.

Her attention drifted back toward Matsu, anticipation practically radiating from her.
"So..." she asked, unable to suppress her curiosity any longer, "...are we really going looking for living crystals? Because that sounds way cooler than anything I've ever hunted before."

Seo arrived only a few moments after the others, crossing the white stone courtyard with the same quiet, measured pace that seemed to follow her wherever she went. The Temple of the Economic Watch had become familiar over the past weeks, though she still found herself pausing occasionally to admire the life within it. Padawans sparred beneath the watchful eyes of their instructors, scholars crossed between lecture halls carrying datapads beneath one arm, and merchants from Navarro moved comfortably alongside Jedi without either group seeming out of place. It was exactly what the Silver Jedi had always tried to build: a place where ordinary life and the Force existed together rather than apart.

Her attention settled first upon Matsu and little Hanae, the familiar sight bringing an easy smile to her face. Jara's laughter echoed across the courtyard as he concluded his conversation with the Grandmaster, and Seo dipped her head respectfully toward the Beorni Master before turning toward the small gathering beginning to form. Olarra stood with the unmistakable eagerness of someone on the verge of discovering something she had dreamt about for weeks. Nearby, another young woman approached carrying little more than a satchel and an abundance of enthusiasm. The face was unfamiliar, but the warmth in her greeting made introductions seem unnecessary to force.

Seo returned the wave with a welcoming smile. "Hello, Kyrie. I am Seo Linn." Her gaze drifted briefly to the satchel hanging from the young woman's shoulder before a hint of amusement entered her eyes. "It seems you listened to Master Matsu and packed lightly." When Kyrie spoke about practicing her breathing and slowing herself before acting, Seo's smile deepened almost imperceptibly. "That is encouraging to hear. Growth often begins with the smallest changes, especially the ones we notice within ourselves before anyone else does."

She turned then to Olarra, whose excitement seemed almost palpable. It reminded Seo of someone standing on the threshold of a door she had searched for her entire life. "You are right," she said gently. "It will be completely different from searching through salvage." Her gold eyes wandered briefly toward the mountains beyond the temple before returning to the Pantoran. "You can mine kyber, but you cannot truly find it that way. The crystal is not simply another resource hidden beneath stone. It is alive within the Force, and this journey is as much about learning to listen as it is about learning where to walk."

For a moment she allowed the thought to settle before continuing. "There may be caves. There may be difficult terrain. Perhaps wildlife. Perhaps nothing more dangerous than ourselves." A faint smile touched her lips. "Often the greatest challenge is arriving with expectations. Kyber has a habit of ignoring them."

Her gaze passed between Olarra and Kyrie, lingering on each of them in turn. Though they had come to the Order by very different paths, they now stood at the beginning of the same journey. "Today is not about proving yourselves worthy of a crystal," she said softly. "Nor is it a competition to see who finds one first. Walk with patience. Observe. Listen to the world around you, and to yourselves. If a crystal chooses to answer, it will not be because you forced it to. It will be because, for a moment, you learned how to hear."

Only then did Seo glance toward Matsu, a quiet smile settling across her features. "I believe we're ready whenever you are, Master."

As the ship landed nearby, Connel appreciated everything that Master Ike had to say. She has been a mentor, a friend and respectfully more over the years. Then of course she brought up the last part and Connel just sighed. You HAD to make it weird… Laughing as he climbed the loading ramp, Connel just shook his head

She asked him to show up in secret. Why? Well you would have to ask her, but Connel wasn’t sure himself either. He came though. He had known her all his life and he trusted her with everything, even if he didn’t think she was completely sane at times. From trips through hellacious inferno type worlds, to the most peaceful places in the galaxy, every trip with her was an adventure in the best of terms.

He wasn’t here alone. As he stepped off the ramp of the ship, Lira was here, which meant so was Buster. They did not get enough trips together, and so he was happy to bring them along this time. They were welcome and could see the sights of this magnificent place. Of course that is provided Buster did not run amok, which of course he had a habit of doing, and would here as well.

Connel quietly walked with them around the mammoth Temple of Economic Watch, noticing the beauty of its intricate carvings and the serene atmosphere it exuded. Despite the potential chaos Buster might cause, Connel couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and wonder at being in such a historically significant location. Just another adventure with Master Ike, I suppose.

With that, he kissed his wife, scratched his best friend behind the ear and walked towards the group he saw in the distance.

Novac had been in a bit of a rush due to his lateness. But luckily he wasn't to late, though he wished he got here earlier to look around the beautiful temple. He'd been to temples before, usually there where abandoned however. The tall white towers where amazing, though he'd probably end up hurting his neck looking up the entire time.

Finally reaching the group, " Sorry im late, got caught up with somethin on my ship." giving a small bow to everyone as he spoke. "so where exactly will be be heading grandmaster?."

Seo's gentle, grounded words washed over her, neatly shifting her perspective before her thoughts could scatter. Hearing the senior Jedi reframe the entire trip as a lesson in listening rather than a mere salvage haul reminded Olarra to slow her breathing and redirect her eager spirit, and she nodded along in quiet appreciation. She offered a warm, welcoming grin back to Kyrie as the other young woman introduced herself, instantly liking the bright, completely unfiltered enthusiasm radiating from her.

Before she could offer a proper reply, a low hiss of approaching scales drew her attention across the pristine white paving stones.

Novac came sliding up to the gathering with a hasty bow, offering a quick apology for getting held up by a minor ship issue. Olarra's amber eyes lit up with instant, undeniable excitement at the sight of the hooded, serpentine Knight. She hadn't seen him since that fateful, chaotic afternoon when he had crowded into her mobile sanctuary alongside the masters, and his sudden arrival made the looming trip feel entirely complete.

"Hey! Good to see you made it," Olarra called out with a bright, welcoming wave, her natural bouncy energy immediately returning to her voice. "I was hoping I'd get tp see you again! Don't worry, you didn't miss our step-off command yet—we're still figuring out the map parameters."
Her friendly banter cut short as a heavy, deliberate set of footsteps echoed from a nearby landing pad.

Olarra turned her head, her attention naturally drawn to the newcomer. Walking straight toward their circle was a towering, heavily built man who seemed to radiate an aura of intensity. She thought he looked less like a traditional mystic and far more like a armored, elite soldier. Her golden eyes widened a fraction of a millimeter as her focus involuntarily traced his silhouette, taking in the rugged framework of his specialized gear and the graceful confidence in his stride. There was something to him which she found surprisingly alluring. Olarra found herself silently admiring him before a brief and unexpected prickle slid up her neck. She caught herself just as quickly, keeping her expression perfectly neutral and her thoughts entirely to herself as she deliberately adjusted the alchemical leather wrist wraps over her training gear. She hoped she had maintained the image of a focused, capable student, completely unbothered as she anchored her attention back onto the group.

Glancing back toward Matsu and Seo, a slight smile remaining on Olarra's lips. The circle was officially growing, the atmosphere was charging up with wild new dynamics, and she was more than ready for her Grandmaster to give them a direction to march in.

There was quite the crowd here and Matsu remained as Hanae was looking at them and whispered. "Mommy that lady is blue." Matsu looked at her for a moment and then only grinned a little to herself while she moved and put Hanae down in the little line as she spoke. The girl staying in the air as Matsu added her to the small line of people to take on the trip. "A good question." She said it while looking at them and floated in front of them as Hanae was rolling end over end in the air and she ate some fo the candy. "It is traditional within the jedi for one to go on the gathering... It is a sacred rite of passage to one and there are a few worlds that have crystals but most go to Ilum."

She said it and was holding her hand as the air shimmered. The ripple forming as she entangled the matter there and within the front of the temple itself. Showing it like a heat shimmer while she was connecting it using the Netherworld of Unbeing. The bridge and ribbon across the universe for a force user. "But Ilum is where all go and I wanted to give for some of you a chance to see the origins as it were. There are many places where the jedi have had their origin and beginnings but the first jedi temple is important." She said it and the heat image changed showing the island and the temple. "The first jedi temple has been in use by my Jadeite, artisans, engineers, smoths who work with the force. It is a stepping stone to the Celestial forge."

SHe was looking at them and moved around to each with a smile. "So with he untouched kyber caves on Ahch-To we are going. it is not as grand and ceremonial as the caves of Ilum but it is an island of the force. With creatures some of you have never seem possibly. It is also a place a jedi should visit at a point in time along with some of the other origin worlds of the jedi to get a sense of scope and past lives." She said it and the shimmer became a little solid as Hanae was looking at it and moved in the air. "We get to go on an adventure." Matsu looked at her and used a finger to hold a loop on the girls belt so she didn't surge forward through it. "So step through and we can go."

Seo listened quietly as Matsu spoke, her attention resting as much upon those gathered as upon the words themselves. There was something she had appreciated about moments like these. Every Jedi arrived by a different road. Some had been raised within an Order, others had discovered the Force only recently, while a few, like Olarra, had spent years allowing it to guide their lives before ever giving it a name. Yet they now stood together, each preparing to take another step along the same path.

A faint smile touched her lips as little Hanae eagerly floated toward the shimmering projection before Matsu gently caught the loop of her belt. The child's excitement was infectious, and Seo found herself quietly amused as her gaze drifted over the gathering. Kyrie's curiosity was written plainly across her expression, Olarra looked as though she could scarcely contain herself, Novac had settled comfortably into the group despite his late arrival, and another Jedi had joined them with his family. It was a diverse company, yet somehow it already felt like the beginning of a memorable journey.

When Matsu revealed their destination, Seo's attention lingered on the image of Ahch-To. Even after years as a Jedi, hearing the names of the ancient worlds still stirred something within her. "Few are given the opportunity to visit places so closely connected to our beginnings," she said softly. "The Force has a way of speaking differently in places where generations have sought to understand it. Whether that voice comes as clarity, questions, or quiet reflection, it is worth listening."

Her gold eyes settled briefly on Olarra and Kyrie before moving across the rest of the group. "Try not to measure your experience against anyone else's. Some may sense the Force immediately. Others may simply find themselves noticing the world around them in a new way. Neither is more valuable than the other." A gentle smile returned to her face. "The Gathering is as much about learning to trust yourselves as it is about finding a crystal."

She looked once more toward the shimmering gateway Matsu had woven into existence. Though she had witnessed remarkable demonstrations of the Force before, the sight still inspired a quiet sense of wonder. It served as a reminder that there was always more to learn, regardless of rank or experience.

Inclining her head respectfully toward the Grandmaster, Seo's voice carried quiet sincerity. "Thank you for allowing us to share in this journey, Master. It is not an opportunity any of us will soon forget."

With that, she fell silent. Her hands rested loosely before her as she waited patiently for Matsu to lead them onward, content to follow alongside the others when the Grandmaster gave the word.

Olarra's focus was entirely anchored on the space right in front of her.

Any remaining ideas about a standard shuttle flight or a long hyperdrive jump vanished into thin air as Master Matsu extended her hand, literally bending the environment to her will. Olarra's gold eyes grew wide as she watched the atmospheric molecular density ripple, folding local reality until a shimmering heat gateway flared into existence right in the middle of the white stone courtyard. The projection shifts from a faint blur into a stable, vibrant image of an unfamiliar oceanic landscape, revealing a distant island surrounded by endless gray water.

Hearing the Grandmaster explain that they weren't traveling to the icy caverns of Ilum, but were instead heading straight to the ancient, untouched shores of Ahch-To, made her heart skip a beat.

"Mommy that lady is blue."

Little Hanae's loud, completely innocent stage-whisper cut through the solemnity of the moment, breaking Olarra's intense concentration. A bright, silent chuckle shook her shoulders, her cerulean cheeks warming as she flashed the little girl a highly playful, conspiratorial wink. It was impossible to stay nervous when the Grandmaster's kid was treating a casual tear in the fabric of space-time like a fun playground slide.

Seo's gentle voice anchored the gathering once more, her words serving as a timely reminder to let go of any rigid expectations before crossing the threshold. Olarra took a deep breath, letting the calm, lightside warmth of the temple wash through her system one last time as she smoothed the fabric of her casual training gear. She looked at the shimmering archway, then glanced sideways at Novac, Kyrie, and the imposing soldier-Jedi, her usual restless energy mounting to an absolute peak.

The technical mechanics of how Matsu was utilizing the Netherworld of Unbeing to bridge two points across the galaxy was a puzzle her analytical brain desperately wanted to solve later, but right now, the call of the original temple was far louder.

"Well, no point in letting the portal get cold. See you on the other side!" Olarra said with a wide, fearless grin, her boots clicking confidently against the white paving stones as she stepped up to the line.

She gave her alchemical leather wrist wraps one final, solid tug, adjusted the strap of her gear pouch, and boldly stepped straight through the shimmering distortion, ready to find out exactly what kind of song the living stones of Ahch-To were waiting to teach her.

A ‘Gathering’ huh?

Connel had been on one, long ago, he went with his father to Ilum only they had spent days there, a completely different experience and he came back with more than one crystal and his first lightsabers were built. He still has them mounted on his wall, but that’s a story for another time. This gathering was going to be much shorter and different, and he had no idea what to expect. He did not really need to expect anything, all he needed to do was show up, and that’s what he planned to do. He was here, more or less to watch over them.

Don’t you dare say “babysit”.

It was a relief that he was receptive to the Force when it told him not to put on his “Ariel” gear. There would have been no need, that was for battle, and this was anything but one. Even if they had fauna to deal with, they were mostly harmless and easy to avoid. So there he stayed, quiet and smirking at the Grandmaster as if she played a trick on him. He couldn't help but feel a bit amused by the irony of the situation—he had come prepared for war, only to find out he was attending a field trip.

No shame in that.

Novac couldn't help but smile at the floating child, and the fact she called out eh blue lady before the giant snake. The portal Infront of him stunned him for a moment, he didn't really know things like that where possible. Then again matsu was a master.

Novac had already been on one gathering, during it he had a vision of his old master, and his doubts. It had been a long while since then. Would this one be anything like that, would he see a different vision or maybe nothing at all. Then again he could not find anything at all and just be there to help the others, only one way to find out however.

Approaching the portal it was oddly cool yet he could barely feel anything from it. Not knowing how the portal would work he held his breath as he went through.

SHe looked at them as they were coming through and the FIrst Jedi Temple on Ahch-To had a great deal to it. The Silver Jedi and Jadeite having worked on it extensively to better improve its viability as a temple of the order. The group being able to come through as the gateway where they were attached to one of the anchorpoints of the temple and revealed it. The new stone work that was carved and made for it. Biots walking along with the caretakers and they were maintaining the temple while dozens of jedi were working on different areas of study and the temple. SOme were testing more of their equipment from utility belts to experiments on personal defense shields.

"Grandmaster." The voices came out as several Crystal Biots stood there and were moving their hands and heads in a small jerking motions but they were looking at screens of data moving quickly. Blue veins along their skin as their eyes glowed brighter and Matsu spoke. "Our holocron biots. They are organic teachers with the jedi archieves on them it allows for an additional back up that is able to protect itself of the archives themselves. Erasing the knowledge fo the jedi is harder to do then it already is and has been." She said it as Hanae was there with a smile while she was floating around and turned to look when a fairlee flew around overhead.

"Mommy, the bird lady is going to catch the snake man." She said it and Matsu looked up as the flying creatures were large, winged arms with glistening feathers, taloned feet and their humanoid bodies. THey went from island to island as they could glide and fly somewhat catching the fish before one landed on a rock and was perrched for a moment looking. "The Fairalee protect the temples on Ahch-To along with someone else you will meet." SHe said it while pointing as there were a large pair helping some fo the jedi with their equipment. "They are the Dragons of Ahch-To. Powerful and wise and be careful. They shift."

Kyrie’s bright expression softened into something more thoughtful as Seo spoke to her. The encouragement landed more deeply than the older Jedi might have intended. Most of Kyrie’s life—what little of it she could remember—felt like a series of abrupt beginnings, instincts without explanations and skills without memories attached to them. Progress was difficult to measure when she did not know where she had started. Still, she had noticed the changes Seo described. There were moments now, brief but real, when she remembered to breathe before reaching for a weapon or allowed herself to feel a situation before rushing into it.

“Thank you,” Kyrie answered, a little quieter than before. “I’m still better at chasing something than waiting for it to come to me. But Master Matsu’s been teaching me that moving first isn’t always the same thing as moving forward.”

She looked toward Matsu as she said it, smiling with the faint pride of a student who hoped she had remembered the lesson correctly. Seo’s explanation of the crystals made Kyrie’s brows lift with interest. A living stone that could not simply be tracked, cornered, or collected sounded less like any bounty she had ever imagined and more like meeting someone new.

“So we don’t really hunt them,” she reasoned aloud. “We introduce ourselves and hope they answer.” It sounded strange once spoken, though not wrong. Kyrie gave Olarra an easy grin, sharing in the Pantoran’s obvious excitement even if they understood the coming journey in very different ways.

The arrival of more Jedi drew her attention in quick succession. Kyrie offered Novac a welcoming wave before her gaze naturally climbed the length of his serpentine form. She had seen enough unusual beings since awakening that surprise no longer translated immediately into alarm, but she still watched him with open curiosity. Connel’s approach earned a different sort of attention. There was something in the man’s bearing that reminded Kyrie of professional soldiers she had encountered—controlled, confident and prepared without needing to announce it. Her eyes briefly shifted past him toward Lira and Buster before returning to the growing group.

Then Matsu raised her hand, and the air itself began to change. Kyrie’s mouth fell open. The shimmering distortion gathered in front of the temple, reality bending until an ocean and distant island appeared where the courtyard should have continued. She had witnessed Matsu perform things Kyrie could neither explain nor imagine reproducing, but this surpassed all of them. She took an unconscious step closer, staring into the gateway as though trying to find the seam where one side of the galaxy ended and another began.

“The Force can do that?” she breathed. She looked from the portal to Matsu and back again. Every lesson seemed to reveal that the boundaries Kyrie assumed existed were merely limitations in her own understanding. She had thought lifting objects without touching them was impossible until it had felt natural. She had thought the Force was something inside her until Matsu taught her to feel it flowing through everything. Now entire worlds could apparently be connected by reaching through something called the Netherworld of Unbeing. Kyrie decided she would ask about that later. Much later. When the explanation might no longer make her head hurt.

Hanae’s excitement made her laugh, though the laugh turned into a startled noise when the little girl nearly surged through the opening and Matsu caught her by the belt. Kyrie watched Olarra stride through with fearless enthusiasm, followed by the others, and found herself lingering for only a moment. Her first instinct was to leap through. Instead, Kyrie stopped.

She drew in a measured breath, just as Matsu had taught her. The portal was not a target to charge or a hazard to overcome. She reached outward with her awareness, feeling the quiet strength of the temple behind her, the presence of the Jedi around her and the strange, distant pull beyond the shimmering threshold. Only after grounding herself did she step forward.

The crossing lasted no time at all and somehow felt longer than a hyperspace journey. Kyrie emerged into the First Jedi Temple with her hand instinctively hovering near the blaster that was not there. She caught the motion, lowered her arm and silently congratulated herself for having followed the instruction to leave her combat gear behind.

Ahch-To immediately overwhelmed her senses. The sea air carried salt and moisture across ancient stone renewed by careful hands. The temple rose around them with a gravity Kyrie could feel even without understanding its history. Jedi moved between halls alongside caretakers and unfamiliar organic constructs. Equipment was tested in open areas, students and researchers passed beneath carved archways, and everywhere she looked the past appeared to exist comfortably beside the present.

Kyrie slowly turned in place, trying to see everything at once. “This is where the Jedi started?” she asked, almost under her breath. The question held more wonder than skepticism. She knew so little about where she had come from that the idea of standing somewhere tied to the beginning of an entire tradition struck her in an unexpectedly personal place. Perhaps origins did not answer every question. Perhaps they did not need to. Sometimes it was enough to know there had been a beginning at all.

The Crystal Biots quickly claimed her attention. Kyrie watched their small, jerking motions and the blue veins glowing beneath their skin as streams of information passed across nearby displays. Matsu’s explanation did little to reduce her fascination. “They’re alive, but they carry the archives?” Kyrie asked. She leaned slightly to one side, studying one of the biots from a respectful distance. “Are they people, droids, or something in between?”

She seemed entirely prepared to accept any answer. Her own body contained enhancements she did not fully understand, and skills implanted by people she could not remember. The distinction between something born, built or changed felt less obvious to her than it might have to others.

Movement overhead pulled Kyrie’s attention sharply upward. The Fairalee swept between the islands with broad, feathered wings, their humanoid bodies banking gracefully through the ocean wind before one settled upon a distant rock. Kyrie followed every motion with the focused eyes of a hunter, though there was no calculation of range or vulnerability in her expression. Instead, she watched the effortless coordination of wing, body and air with naked admiration. “They’re beautiful,” she said.

Hanae’s declaration about the bird lady catching the snake man made Kyrie cover a laugh with one hand. Her eyes flicked apologetically toward Novac, though the amusement remained plain on her face. “I think she means you,” Kyrie whispered, as though there were any chance he had missed it.

Then Matsu pointed toward the larger creatures helping the Jedi with their equipment. Dragons. Kyrie’s attention snapped toward them with such intensity that her entire body seemed poised to follow. Powerful, wise and capable of shifting, whatever that meant. Curiosity surged through her, accompanied by the reckless certainty that she needed to see one up close immediately.

Her foot moved. Kyrie stopped it before it touched the ground. She remained where she was, visibly wrestling with herself for a second before releasing a slow breath. When she looked back at Matsu, there was a sheepish smile on her face. “I was going to run over there,” she admitted. “But you said to be careful.” Her gaze returned to the dragons. The restraint had not diminished her interest in the slightest, but it had kept that interest from deciding her actions for her.

“What does ‘they shift’ mean?” Kyrie asked. “Shape? Size? Mood?” She paused, considering the possibilities. “Please don’t say all three.”

Despite the joking tone, Kyrie stayed near the others rather than wandering away. She adjusted the strap of her small satchel and let her awareness stretch outward once more, trying to listen as Seo had advised. The island felt old, alive and impossibly deep within the Force. There were too many new sensations for Kyrie to identify individually, but she did not chase any of them. Not yet. She stood beside the others, eyes wide with wonder, waiting for Matsu to lead them onward toward the caves and whatever might be waiting there to answer.

Stepping through the gate was unlike anything she had ever experienced, a brief sensation of impossible compression that ended with her boots meeting solid, weathered stone.

The blistering heat of Nevarro was instantly replaced by a cool, heavy ocean breeze that carried the sharp scent of salt and ancient rain. Olarra blinked, her gold eyes adjusting as the grey, endless water of Ahch-To's horizons opened up around them. She let out a slow, amazed breath as she looked at the sheer scale of the old temple grounds. Careful hands had clearly restored the stonework, and everywhere she looked, research teams and organic caretakers were bustling between the stone arches.

Kyrie's thoughtful observation about "introducing themselves" to the crystals brought a bright smile back to Olarra's face, though she was quickly distracted by the strange, jerking movements of the organic teachers Matsu called Holocron Biots. Watching streams of glowing data flash past their blue-veined skin made her inner tinkerer deeply fascinated, but it was little Hanae's sudden shout that made her look straight up into the sky.

"Mommy, the bird lady is going to catch the snake man."

Olarra let out a delighted laugh, her eyes shifting to Novac as Kyrie offered her own quiet, teasing whisper. Overhead, the majestic, feathered Fairalee were banking through the ocean wind, their massive wings catching the updrafts as they kept watch over the island sanctuary.

"Don't worry, Novac, I'll protect you from the local wildlife," Olarra teased with a playful wink at the serpentine Knight, her natural, bouncy energy completely overriding the initial shock of the teleportation.

Her gaze followed the Grandmaster's pointing finger toward the lower terraces, where massive, powerful shapes were helping the researchers move heavy equipment crates. Hearing Matsu introduce them as the Dragons of Ahch-To, and warning them that they could shift—made Olarra's amber eyes widen with a mix of curiosity and immense respect. She instinctively stepped a bit closer to Kyrie and the others, her focus locked on the incredible creatures as she tried to comprehend a being that could change its very form.

"I've seen a lot of weird cargo lifters in the Outer Rim, but nothing that breathes or changes shape," Olarra murmured, a look of pure wonder dancing across her face as she uncrossed her arms. She glanced back at Matsu, Seo, and the imposing soldier-Jedi, her excitement for the upcoming hunt completely rekindled. "This island is incredible. The energy here is...palpable. I long to listen to what it has to tell me. "

Ach-To

Haven’t been there in a while, last time was an adventure with his father to hide his Padawan training. It will be good to see the old stomping grounds again, maybe check in on some old friends, the Porgs.

So far he had not been acknowledged really by anyone, which was fine because he didn’t want to be a celebrity or anything like that. HE DIDN’T WANT TO TALK TO THEM ANYWAY!

Way to make me sound like a 9 year old. What's next, I stick out my tongue?

He made his way through the portal and onto the ancient island. It was still as beautiful and serene as he remembered, though he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. He quickly scanned his surroundings and could not help but marvel at the work Master Ike and her people had done to preserve the natural beauty of Ach-To as well as integrate modern technology seamlessly into the environment. This definitely had “Sasori” all over it.

Someone's been busy. He said, looking the Silver's Grandmaster away. Was he still one? Was he ever one? Only time will tell.

Matsu looked at Connel and moved over to him as she stayed there for a moment with a wide grin. "Well we have had years here, the researchers and artisans needed a good place to go when most of them were being neglected under any of the orders and few even acknowledge the tech division so I opened a place for them long before I became grandmaster and we have been working on this temple and uncovering many places for decades now. Wait until you see all of the stuff we have discovered under the ocean." She said it and moved in the air motioning for him to come and the others as well. Hanae gliding around around Kyrie and Olarra. "You have to see Binky. Orihime brought him here and he protects the island."

Matsu was continuing to lead the way. The temple had much and she was leading them towards the observation area as she looked to answer. "Their ability to transform is deeply personal mostly but they can shift their form to be large and protective of their home. When thehy grace with a human form they are helpful to the Lanai and others on the islands. It has been a good way to understand much more of what we have found here including the Repository." She said it and leading them through the staircase wound upwards. Colette Colette had brought some padawans here and it had been beneficial to use the forge but there was always more when she floated there.

"Welcoem to the first temple of thje jedi, or what we consider. There are a lot of origins for the order so could be and might be but can't be sure. What we do know is that it is old, so old in fact that the jedi who were here were considered within the order aas the prime jedi. PRecursors to the order before what we knew and the je'daii. We have explored much of the world and there are several temples on different islands and the continent that we have been able to start exploring and restoring. Below the waters are the crystal caves and getting to them will be something that adds to the difference here. Ilum is ice, Ahch-To is water and in the endless waters the sensory deprivation can allow your mind to reach places others do not."

Novac chuckled a little "I think they would have to be a big bigger then that to pose a threat to me. But I appreciate it" he said to Olarra Zand Olarra Zand

When novac saw the biot his mind went 100 miles a hour. Are they human, droid, cyborg? How do they work? Depending on what they are the could answer how they work but could also open a million other questions. Are the alive? Do they think and feel? Require food and water? Novac had to stop his brain from thinking to much at once.

But it got worse when Matsu Ike Matsu Ike said the word dragon "I"m sorry dragons?" That word should not have been spoken. His mind raced once more. Are they dragon first human second? how can their form change mass like that? Does it? Novac had so many questions but choose to remain silent

Ach-To

Still a beautiful planet with lush greenery and diverse wildlife, but now it has become a hub for a rebuilt and reimagined representation of the First ever Jedi Temple. Of course it was built to excess, and unapologetic, that is of course what Sasori is known for and Connel learned to accept that long ago. The new temple is a sight to behold, with its towering spires and intricate carvings, it stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of the Jedi Order. What is funny is the stories that his father used to tell him of some of the Sasori sights he visited in the past. A mechanized planet was something he was certain that was not real but that was a story for another time.

He was listening to the woman in white, but not listening at the same time. She was talking about the history of the temple and how it had been rebuilt after the destruction of the original one due to time, but he was more interested in the fact that this place was now home to some of the most advanced medical technology in the galaxy. The Master stood quietly, this trip was more than just a visit to a historical site, it was an opportunity to learn about the future. Of course some worried about other things.

The reptilian asked about dragons. Connel just strolled past him almost dismissively Just go with it.

Personal experienced was a crazy thing sometimes.

Kyrie walked alongside the others with her hands loosely hooked beneath the straps of her satchel, though her attention seemed determined to wander everywhere except the path in front of her. Every few steps something new caught her eye. The temple itself. A caretaker passing by. One of the strange Crystal Biots conversing with a Jedi. The endless sea beyond the cliffs. She was trying very hard not to stare.

Hanae's cheerful gliding around herself and Olarra finally drew an amused smile from Kyrie. The little girl's boundless energy was infectious. "So..." Kyrie asked with a conspiratorial glance toward Olarra, "...is anyone actually in charge of making sure she doesn't accidentally adopt a dragon?" The question was clearly directed at Matsu, though Kyrie wasn't entirely convinced the answer wouldn't simply be 'Hanae is in charge of Hanae.'

Her attention shifted back to Olarra, noticing how the Pantoran seemed almost overwhelmed by everything around them. "I think you're right," Kyrie said quietly. "The island really does feel... different." She frowned thoughtfully. "I just can't tell what I'm feeling."

Closing her eyes for only a moment, she reached outward as Matsu had taught her. She resisted the urge to search for something specific. Instead, she simply let herself notice. The steady rhythm of the surf. The countless living presences surrounding them. The incredible age resting beneath every stone. Something... deeper. Old. Patient.

When she opened her eyes again, she gave a small shrug. "It's like..." She searched for the right words before laughing softly. "...walking into a room where everyone's already talking, and I haven't learned the language yet." The admission didn't frustrate her nearly as much as it once would have. She trusted she'd understand eventually.

As Matsu spoke of the temple's uncertain origins, Kyrie's attention settled fully upon the Grandmaster. The first temple. Maybe. The first Jedi. Perhaps. Nobody truly knew. Oddly...

...that made her smile. "I like that," she admitted. When several people glanced her way, she rubbed the back of her neck. "I don't know where I came from." She said it matter-of-factly. There wasn't any sadness in her voice anymore, only honesty. "I spent a long time thinking if I could just figure out where I started..." she paused. "...then I'd finally understand who I was."

Her brown eyes drifted over the ancient temple. "But... if even the Jedi don't have one simple beginning..." Another small smile. "...maybe it's okay that I don't either." She hadn't expected to say it aloud. It simply... felt right here.

The mention of dragons pulled her attention away almost immediately. "...Wait." Her eyes narrowed thoughtfully as she looked between Matsu and several of the people working throughout the temple. "They can become people?" Her gaze lingered on one particularly dignified researcher before shifting to another.

"So..." She leaned a little closer to Olarra. "...one of them could be standing right next to us?" Her eyes widened. "That is either the coolest thing I've ever heard..." A beat. "...or the best prank anyone has ever played." She quickly looked around again, trying—and failing—to determine whether anyone nearby possessed particularly dragon-like qualities.

Then Matsu mentioned someone named Binky. Kyrie froze. After everything she had already heard today... "...I'm almost afraid to ask." Almost. "What is Binky?"

She looked between the others. "We've got living archives..." She counted on her fingers. "Bird people. Shape-shifting dragons. The first Jedi temple. A doorway across the galaxy." She lowered her hand. "...and somehow I have a feeling Binky is going to be the strangest one."

As they continued climbing, Matsu casually revealed that the crystal caves rested beneath the sea. Kyrie stopped walking. "Beneath..." She looked toward the crashing waves. "...the ocean?"

She caught up again, brow furrowing as practical questions immediately began bubbling to the surface. "How far beneath? Are we swimming? Do we use breathing gear?" She hesitated. "...Can everyone here swim?" Then another thought occurred to her. "Do the dragons come with us?"

The questions arrived one after another before she finally laughed at herself. "Sorry." She took one slow breath. Master Matsu had spent lesson after lesson reminding her not to let excitement outrun her thoughts. "I think I'm doing that thing again."

Her breathing slowed. The questions didn't disappear. They simply stopped tripping over one another. "I've never been underwater where I couldn't just... swim back up." That admission was much quieter. She wasn't afraid of danger. She was afraid of not being able to rely on herself. Speed. Strength. Awareness. Those had always carried her through.

Underwater... in darkness... surrounded by the Force...Those wouldn't be enough. Her fingers brushed absentmindedly against the ancient stone wall beside the staircase. The moment her skin met it, Kyrie paused.

There was no vision. No overwhelming rush of images. Only the faintest impression. As though countless hands had rested here before hers. Pilgrims. Students. Seekers. Generations stretching farther back than she could imagine.

The sensation faded almost as quickly as it had arrived. Kyrie smiled to herself. "I think..." She glanced toward Matsu. "...I'm starting to hear a few words." Then she continued climbing beside the others, no longer trying to race ahead of the journey, but content to let Ahch-To reveal itself one step at a time.
