- Description: Lithe muscles and hollow bones with feathers that cover their arms and form wings. Taloned feet and a single talon on the tip of their arm wings. The colorful plumage varies from each one and can change depending on their age from solid vibrant colors to two toned and older. The scales at their feet with sharp talons are dexterous able to snatch objects out of the air and turn handles.

- Natural Weapons: THeir talon like feet are natural weapons, able to slash but also grip and are their primary means of manipulating objects.
- Flight: Their primary means of locomotion are two massive feathered wings attached to their upper arms. With the tips being the ends of their hands but lacking hands to grasp.
- Thumbs: They don't have hands instead using their taloned feet to grasp things. Their arms are the tops of their wings.

- Religion/Beliefs: Among them the idea of freedom is important... not having to live by the rules of other species... but there are problems. They are often seen as bird brained in many cases, forgetting their own ideals and beliefs. Not always true as they can recall many things but they are one fo the more forgetful species in the galaxy. Having a naivety about them and natural curiosity they will usually flock around objects that are shiny or brightly colored. This makes keeping track of their beliefs and gods difficult as they do not entirely have hem.. believing that one should form their own moral code to live by but they also work to respect life... a small contricition but needed. Otherwise they would be simpoly attacking each other or other species all fo the time. Among the ones closest to the jedi temple who visit it to roost they view the force as something to respect which attracted several to join the Army of light when news of attacks from the darkside came. The envoy who perished on Ruusan is seen as one of their heroes as they fought to protect life and gave their own in service of the people even if their name is lost to history.
- General behavior: The Fairalee are largely a free race on Ahch-To migrating with the temperate climates throughout the year and love to travel. Some joining the jedi in times past to fight in the jedi's wars of light against the darkside and the sith. Their memories are tricky as they sometimes forget names or meeting people but they can remember some who give a large impression like a paramour that they have met. THey are friendly with the people they meet and will generally try and help them if they can. Ahch-To doesn't get many visitors in a lifetime so new people are important to meet after all and they protect some of their nests. THey usually nest high in the mountains and islands of Ahch-To where most predators cannot reach their eggs and will help the caretakers. They are usually curious around the jedi about the force and can ferry messages from one temple to another as they were built along migration routes that they take around the planet allowing in theory messages to be sent without communications if needed.
A lesser seen species in the galaxy originating from Ahch-To, the Fairalee are largely force sensitive even if they do not know it all the time and have befriended ancient jedi. ON the world itself though they travel from island to island along the weather seeking fair temperatures. Working witht he caretakers and eventually finding temples and mountains. In times past they even joined the order on occasion and one was known to be within the Army of Light at Ruusan serving as envoy to the jedi lord. An effigy to her is on one of the large islands that serves as a central roost for many of them and it where they go yearly for spawning rituals. THeir history is hard to determine because they don't remember much of it... only know a few things that have been taught from their parents.
That was one of the things that was observed by the jedi on Ahch-To and when the Jadeite jedi came to the world to train and find a place to be. Matsu spent time with a few of them and observed their migration patterns. THey would return over the course of a year return to the temple. The jedi being able to gather a few things of information from the jedi archives. Mostly that there were a few within the Army of light... the battalion of humanoids led itno the fight were largely all humanoids with animal like features. It wasn't a lot of information but they were able to track and discover a little more as at the time a statue to the envoy within the army had been created at their spawning grounds. Weather worn and while revered because she was known to be among the jedi and shared in defending the galaxy... there is not much known of her life or actions... even a name.
The biology of the Fairalee was important as mentally they are not impaired just they lack keeping memories for long and can forget after a time. Few things are longer lasting aside from biological like their ability to navigate and orient themselves on the planet for migrations. Hunting prey to eat like fish in the oceans or some of the smaller creaatures. Even among the temples they mostly stick to themselves and can find loose items that seem interesting but forget where they put things. ONly a hanfdul remembering that there are jedi at the temple of the first jedi. A small handful becoming friends with the jedi and experimenting with going offworld... even being trained by the jedi to use the force and in memory enhancement to retain some of the knowledge.
