DESCRIPTION
Created by Atrisia as a means to phase out and replace ocular implants for people, the cornea biot is simple compared to some of the others and the minor alterations for it are simple enough. It provides a better visual acuity to see within the higher then average human or species range. 20/20 being average and better then that more helpful but it doesn't make the eyes superhuman or drastically improved. Just good without surgery. The other effects it has is colors are more vibrant, sharper and when it is dark low light vision is slightly improved. Some of the drawbacks to the biot are with the improved vision you are also more sensitive to intense changes in light. Going from dark to bright light can leave a persons vision temporarily blinded or looking into a sun, flare, torch can damage the biot itself. (think night vision goggles with a flash bang). The membranes of the cornea itself receive their nourishment from the tears produced by the body and healing afterwards usually takes 4-5 months.
