SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS
  • Overwhelming Firepower: It is possibly one of the more dangerous models put out by Court of Blades as it requires no ammunition other than using pure firepower to overwhelm their foes with blaster cannons and a single light turbolaser. With Ultra-Power Blast Mode activated, it effectively can level a small bunker in one shot and reduce any unfortunate vehicle not well armored into scrap.
  • What Ammo Limit?: It has no reliance on ammunition, thus it can be given long engagement periods on the battlefield.
WEAKNESSES
  • Shoot the Joints!: The joints are easily seen and a few good placed shots will tear through them and disable the armored walkers leg, effectively making it useless in movement.
  • Barrel is Blowing Out!: Each time it uses the Ultra-Power Blast Mode, each use starts to destroy the barrels and make it more and more less effective at longer ranges. It is not unusual to replace the whole turbolaser barrel and the blaster cannons assemblies after a deployment.
  • Extremely Obvious Cockpit: It comes to no surprise where the cockpit is and it sticks out like a sore thumb, making it an easy target.

DESCRIPTION
Cateran was created for one purpose in mind and that was the complete destruction of whatever was in front of it that was deemed a vehicular threat, monster or emplacement. It was designed to carry the special Light Turbolaser cannon designed from the Agents of Chaos along with six other heavy blaster cannons. The entire goal was to ensure that once there was something to destroy, the armored walker can do so without issue. While it is closer to the classification of an assault, its weight says otherwise and with the reduction of cargo space, puts it just right under assault classification.

One of the more interesting and an actual blunder is the use of the cockpit design. The pilots complained on the lack of seeing outside and each time, the cockpit area was expanded again and again. When Callum Saville finally saw the final product, he nearly screamed in pure frustration from the absurdity of how far it stuck out, resembling it from old arrowheads from other cultures. Regardless, the result could not be ignored as it blast holes through thick duracrete walls and had almost the same reputation rather quickly as other assault walkers, though not at the same weight area, going mainly from having no need of ammunition.
