  • Structure Name: Commenor Juvenile Asset Reclamation / Indoctrination Facility - Node: CMR-JARIF-07
  • Classification: Sub-Adult Processing Complex / Indoctrination & Development Node / Covert Training Enclave
  • Location: Commenor
  • Affiliation: The Kainate
  • Accessibility: CMR-JARIF-07 exists completely outside legal registries, hidden beneath a chain of derelict industrial reclamation complexes abandoned during the final years of Carnifex's extraction campaign. Located far from Commenor's major urban centers and trade corridors, the surface structures appear as rusting processing towers and collapsed freight depots long written off as economically nonviable. Access is achieved through concealed blast-door shafts buried beneath slag fields, decommissioned cargo lifts disguised as wreckage, and narrow tunnel networks mapped only within encrypted Kainate navigation grids. No civilian routes lead directly to the site, and local authorities rarely patrol the area due to lingering environmental hazards left behind by the occupation. Clandestine agents periodically erase sensor anomalies and falsify satellite telemetry to ensure the installation remains invisible to planetary oversight. Movement within the facility is tightly controlled through biometric locks and compartmentalized corridors, ensuring that even internal personnel rarely perceive the full scale of the Nursery.
  • Description: CMR-JARIF-07 is not a school in appearance or function, but a hidden engine of generational indoctrination concealed beneath the skeleton of Commenor's abandoned industrial past. Constructed gradually over decades by sleeper elements descended from collaborationist engineers and administrators, the Nursery occupies a sprawling subterranean complex carved into former extraction tunnels and reinforced with ferrocrete plating. Above ground, wind-scoured processing towers and corroded conveyor gantries mask the facility's entrances, creating the impression of a long-dead industrial zone untouched since Carnifex's withdrawal. The isolation is deliberate - far from population centers, the Nursery operates beyond scrutiny, sustained by discreet supply drops routed through falsified Trade Federation shipping records.

The upper levels of the complex consist of intake chambers, dormitory vaults, and conditioning corridors designed with stark, functional precision. Lighting is dim and directional, reinforcing the sense of enclosure and removing any connection to the natural environment above. Children brought here are immediately immersed in a controlled reality shaped entirely by Kainate doctrine. Walls are unadorned except for austere geometric patterns derived from Epicanthix shrine architecture, creating a ritualistic atmosphere without overt religious imagery. Surveillance nodes embedded within the ceiling monitor posture, speech patterns, and emotional responses, feeding data to hidden analytics cores that refine training protocols in real time.

Deeper within the Nursery, the architecture becomes increasingly severe. Gravity-regulated endurance chambers, soundproofed training arenas, and sensory deprivation vaults occupy the lower strata, each designed to cultivate resilience and absolute obedience. Instructional spaces resemble tactical command centers rather than classrooms, where recruits study strategy, infiltration doctrine, and the mythologized history of Carnifex's conquests. Unlike frontier Nurseries that rely on overt displays of power, CMR-JARIF-07 instills loyalty through isolation and repetition, slowly reshaping identity until the outside galaxy becomes an abstract concept rather than a remembered reality.

At the lowest level lies the strategic heart of the facility - an encrypted archive complex preserving occupation-era schematics, sleeper-agent genealogies, and long-term cultural analysis of Commenor. Here, advanced trainees undergo immersive simulations replicating political unrest, urban infiltration, and covert operations within civilized space. The Nursery's clandestine design ensures that its existence remains deniable even to many within the Kainate itself, functioning as a hidden seed planted decades earlier, waiting patiently beneath the ruins until the moment the way had been prepared.

  • Derelict Processing Yards: A sprawl of rusted refinery towers, collapsed conveyor frames, and slag-strewn loading platforms left over from Carnifex's extraction era. The structures are structurally unstable and contaminated with lingering industrial toxins, discouraging civilian scavengers and municipal reclamation efforts. Concealed beneath debris fields are armored blast hatches and disguised cargo lifts leading to the Nursery's upper levels. Motion sensors and low-power surveillance arrays are embedded within broken tower spines, passively scanning for unauthorized approach.
  • Intake Sector: The first internal chamber encountered upon descent, this reinforced processing level is stark and clinical. New arrivals are catalogued, stripped of identifiers, and assigned internal designations. Personal effects are incinerated in sealed reclamation furnaces originally built for ore refinement. The chamber walls are bare ferrocrete, illuminated by harsh overhead strips that eliminate shadow and warmth, emphasizing psychological severance from prior identity.
  • Dormitory Rings: Arranged in concentric tiers carved into old extraction shafts, these vaults house children according to developmental phase rather than age. Each ring contains minimal furnishing: stacked rest alcoves, communal sustenance dispensaries, and observation apertures concealed behind blackened transparisteel. Environmental controls regulate temperature and lighting cycles independent of the surface day-night rhythm, severing awareness of time beyond the facility.
  • The Assembly Chamber: A cylindrical hall built within a hollowed smelting silo, reinforced and reshaped into a ritual assembly space. The architecture subtly incorporates Epicanthix geometric symmetry - ascending steps converging toward a central platform used for indoctrination rites, oath recitations, and disciplinary exemplars. Acoustic engineering amplifies a speaker's voice into resonant overtones, creating an atmosphere of authority and inevitability without overt iconography.
  • Tactical Simulation Galleries: A network of modular training arenas where holoprojection grids recreate urban environments, governance chambers, or battlefield conditions. Unlike overt military academies, these simulations focus heavily on infiltration, manipulation, and covert coordination. Advanced trainees rehearse scenarios involving political destabilization, sleeper activation, and strategic subversion within planetary institutions.
  • Maternal Conditioning Chamber: Located at the far terminus of the facility's inner medical wing, the Maternal Containment Chamber is a sealed clinical suite designed specifically for the controlled monitoring of high-value pregnancies. The room is stark and immaculate, its polished white surfaces broken only by diagnostic panels, life-support monitors, and a reinforced medical bed fixed at the center of the chamber. Concealed ports in the ceiling house automated surgical and sampling apparatuses capable of performing procedures without the presence of medical staff, while a lattice of biosensors continuously tracks the health of both mother and unborn child. Environmental conditions are precisely regulated - temperature, air composition, and lighting calibrated to maintain ideal gestational stability - yet the chamber remains unmistakably a prison, its single blast-door guarded externally and its occupant restrained against any attempt at escape.
  • Conditioning Vaults: Located at the deepest operational tier, these chambers regulate gravity, atmospheric density, and sensory input. Former ore-processing tunnels have been converted into endurance corridors where trainees navigate shifting terrain under variable conditions. Adjacent sensory deprivation pods are used to test psychological stability and reinforce internalized doctrine without external stimulus.
  • The Archive: An encrypted data vault positioned beneath the primary vault rings, shielded within layers of industrial plating and signal-dampening alloys. The Archive contains preserved records from Carnifex's occupation of Commenor, sleeper-agent genealogies, and predictive sociopolitical models. Only select upper-tier trainees and senior operatives are granted supervised access, reinforcing their sense of belonging to a long, deliberate strategy rather than an isolated facility.
  • Subterranean Hangar: A narrow launch corridor carved into bedrock beyond the main vault complex. Shielded blast doors open only during scheduled supply transfers conducted under falsified freight routing. Small stealth-configured transports dock briefly before retreating into deep-space vectors that avoid major trade lanes. The hangar is designed for rapid evacuation and compartmentalized destruction protocols should planetary authorities ever detect anomalies.

  • High - Security at CMR-JARIF-07 is built first and foremost upon obscurity and environmental deterrence. The Nursery lies beneath a belt of derelict industrial infrastructure left over from Carnifex's extraction campaigns, an area deliberately avoided by Commenorian authorities due to lingering contamination, unstable structures, and the economic impracticality of reclamation. Sleeper operatives embedded within regional administrative networks periodically manipulate survey records and satellite telemetry to maintain the appearance of a long-abandoned industrial wasteland. Passive sensor arrays hidden within collapsed silos, rusted conveyor frames, and slag piles monitor the surrounding kilometers for movement, while encrypted signal dampeners suppress abnormal energy readings that might otherwise draw investigative attention.

Within the subterranean complex itself, security relies on strict compartmentalization and constant surveillance. Every corridor junction and chamber is governed by biometric locks and internal access hierarchies, ensuring personnel can move only within narrowly defined operational zones. Observation nodes embedded throughout the facility continuously track movement, posture, and vocal activity, feeding data to automated monitoring systems capable of flagging behavioral irregularities in both staff and trainees. Custodian Corps personnel - drawn from experienced Koshûtaral Sentinel cadres - patrol critical sectors in rotating patterns designed to prevent predictability, while concealed blast doors and segmented bulkheads allow entire levels of the facility to be isolated in seconds.

In the unlikely event the site is discovered, the Nursery is equipped with layered emergency countermeasures intended to protect the installation or erase its existence entirely. Reinforced blast shutters can seal the main shafts leading to the surface, while internal defense systems deploy automated sentry units and suppression fields across key corridors. Evacuation tunnels branching from the lowest levels connect to concealed landing cavities where small stealth transports can extract senior personnel and critical data caches. Should containment become impossible, demolition charges embedded within the surrounding tunnel network can collapse large sections of the complex, burying the Nursery beneath thousands of tons of industrial ruin and leaving little trace of the operation that once existed beneath the abandoned factories of Commenor.

The origins of CMR-JARIF-07 can be traced back to the catastrophic events surrounding the Sith assault on the Commenor System Alliance during the conflict remembered as the Siege of Commenor. As Sith forces tightened their blockade and brought overwhelming military force to bear upon the system, Commenor's defenses rapidly collapsed under the weight of Imperial fleets and war machines. The destruction of the city of Munto and the subsequent capitulation of Queen Kay Arenais marked the decisive end of organized resistance. With the signing of the Treaty of Commenor under duress, the Sith Empire secured the right to occupy the planet indefinitely, demobilize its armed forces, and impose an Imperial administrative structure over the once-independent world.

In the years immediately following the treaty, Commenor became a focal point of Sith extraction and consolidation efforts along the borders of the Sith-Imperial Mandate. Imperial forces stripped vast quantities of industrial resources from the planet's outer regions, converting entire districts into processing zones and logistical depots supporting Sith expansion deeper into the sector. Massive refinery complexes and industrial reclamation sites appeared across Commenor's hinterlands, constructed rapidly by Sith engineers and overseen by military prefects loyal to Darth Carnifex. These facilities reshaped large swaths of the planet's landscape, leaving behind polluted wastelands and unstable infrastructure that would later be abandoned once the extraction quotas were met.

Although the formal occupation of Commenor eventually ended as Sith strategic priorities shifted elsewhere, Carnifex did not entirely relinquish his influence over the world. As Imperial forces withdrew, a number of covert measures were implemented to ensure that Commenor would remain vulnerable to future manipulation. Sleeper agents - drawn from local collaborators, administrators, and industrial workers who had prospered under Sith rule - were quietly embedded within the planet's social and bureaucratic fabric. These operatives preserved access to abandoned extraction zones and secretly maintained encrypted communication channels tied to distant Kainate command networks.

Decades later, those dormant networks were quietly reactivated. Using the forgotten infrastructure left behind by the Sith extraction era, sleeper operatives began converting the ruins of several abandoned industrial complexes into hidden subterranean facilities. Beneath rusting refinery towers and collapsed ore-processing silos, construction crews expanded the old mining tunnels into reinforced vaults and training chambers. The resulting installation - later designated CMR-JARIF-07 - was designed to function as a clandestine Nursery, a place where abducted or trafficked children could be raised entirely outside Commenorian society and molded into loyal servants of the Kainate.

The Nursery's establishment served a dual strategic purpose. First, it provided a secure location from which the Kainate could cultivate future soldiers, operatives, and Sith candidates without drawing attention from the wider galaxy. Second, its placement on Commenor represented a deliberate symbolic act: a reminder that the Sith conquest had never truly ended, merely receded beneath the surface. By planting a generational indoctrination facility beneath the scars of the old occupation, Carnifex ensured that Commenor itself would unknowingly sustain the seeds of future Sith-Imperial resurgence.

Over time, the Nursery expanded gradually as new cohorts of children were brought in through covert trafficking routes facilitated by criminal networks and corporate intermediaries sympathetic to Sith interests. The abandoned industrial zone provided ideal cover for such activity; few civilians ventured into the contaminated wastelands, and local authorities rarely investigated the region due to its hazardous conditions and low economic value. Beneath the overgrown ruins, the facility's vaults filled with training chambers, dormitory rings, and indoctrination halls where generations of recruits were quietly raised.

To the wider population of Commenor, the industrial wasteland remains little more than a relic of a painful historical era - a reminder of the Sith occupation that once ravaged their world. Yet far below the vine-choked silos and rusted conveyor towers, CMR-JARIF-07 continues to operate in secrecy. Hidden within the very ruins left behind by the Sith Empire's exploitation of the planet, the Nursery stands as a lingering shadow of Carnifex's conquest, waiting patiently for the day its hidden generations may be called upon to reshape the fate of Commenor once again.

  • Age: 24
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Human
  • Appearance: Veyra Halcyon carries herself with the stillness of someone who has long since mastered her impulses. Her dark, sun-warmed skin contrasts sharply against the deep crimson of her officer's uniform, giving her silhouette a striking, almost heraldic clarity. She stands tall and balanced, neither overly rigid nor relaxed - a posture born of discipline rather than ceremony. Her build is lean and athletic, defined by functional strength rather than ornamented power. Even at rest, there is a sense that she is measuring distances, exits, angles.

Her face is sharp and composed, framed by dark hair pulled back beneath a black officer's cap bearing the angular Kainate insignia. High cheekbones and a steady jaw give her expression a resolute intensity. The most arresting feature, however, is her eyes - an unnatural golden glow that burns softly beneath lowered brows. Whether augmentation, prolonged exposure to dark energies, or something more symbolic, the effect is unmistakable. They do not flicker with emotion easily; they hold, assess, and endure. A faint ritual scar traces along her left shoulder and collarbone, usually hidden beneath uniform fabric - a private reminder of fire long past.

Her uniform is immaculate and severe: high-collared red tunic, black armored pauldrons, reinforced gauntlets, and a wide utility belt resting at her waist. Rank plaques gleam against the crimson fabric, marking her earned authority without ostentation. There are no flowing cloaks or decorative excesses - only clean lines and hardened edges. When she moves, the armor shifts with quiet precision, metal catching the light like controlled embers.

  • Name: Veyra Halcyon
  • Loyalties: Directly loyal to Darth Carnifex alone. She does not belong to any organization and maintains no ideological loyalty to Sith mysticism - her loyalty is personal, philosophical, and merit-based.
  • Wealth: Moderate-to-high access through position, but does not maintain personal estates or indulgent holdings. She lives within secure military quarters rather than palatial chambers. Most of her material resources are operational: equipment, command privileges, fleet access, etc.
  • Notable Possessions:
    • Custom adaptive combat armor with internal tactical interface
    • Pair of weighted mono-edged short blades balanced for anti-Force combat
    • Compact heavy sidearm tuned for armor penetration
    • A sealed locket containing ash recovered from her destroyed homeworld (kept privately, never displayed)
  • Skills:
    • Advanced battlefield strategy and logistical modeling
    • Counter-Force combat doctrine (designed to disrupt, distract, and destabilize Force users without matching them directly)
    • Close-quarters combat specialist
    • Psychological operations and cultural destabilization analysis
    • Multi-theater campaign coordination
    • High pain tolerance and stress endurance conditioning
  • Languages:
    • Galactic Basic Standard
    • ur-Kittât
    • Huttese
    • Ghor
  • Personality: Veyra Halcyon is defined by restraint. Where others posture or rage, she observes. Her mind moves several steps ahead in any conversation, quietly mapping leverage, risk, and outcome. She does not waste words, and she does not indulge in theatrics. Beneath that composure lies a core of relentless will - the same will that drove an eight-year-old child to attack the man who destroyed her world. That fire never vanished; it was refined. She is disciplined not because she lacks anger, but because she has mastered it.

Her loyalty is precise, not blind. She serves Carnifex with unwavering efficiency, yet her devotion is built on paradox. He annihilated her home, killed her parents, and shattered the life she once knew. He also recognized her strength, spared her, and forged her into something formidable. In her mind, he is both the architect of her suffering and the catalyst of her power. She does not forgive him, nor does she deny what she has become under his tutelage. That tension is permanent - a quiet fracture she carries without letting it show.

Because of this contradiction, Veyra's allegiance is rooted in philosophy rather than affection. She believes in strength, in discipline, in the ruthless shaping of chaos into order - principles Carnifex embodies. Yet somewhere within her remains the memory of the girl who once tried to kill him. That memory prevents her from becoming fully consumed by worship or dependence. She does not seek to replace him out of vengeance, nor to protect him out of gratitude. Instead, she strives to stand as his equal in will - a living testament to both his cruelty and his creation.
5OzpCap.png

  • Weapon of Choice: She prefers layered tactics over direct confrontation.
    • Dual weighted mono-blades (optimized for leverage against lightsaber users and disarm tactics)
    • Heavy-caliber sidearm
    • Environmental manipulation (terrain traps, choke-point control, suppression grids)
  • Combat Function: Veyra functions on the battlefield as a strategic disruptor and precision commander rather than a frontline berserker. She excels at shaping engagements before blades ever cross - manipulating terrain, timing, and troop positioning to force opponents into disadvantageous corridors of movement. Against conventional forces, she dismantles command structures methodically, targeting communications, morale anchors, and logistical arteries to collapse resistance from within. When facing Force users, she avoids direct contests of power, instead employing layered suppression tactics, environmental traps, and coordinated crossfire to overwhelm their focus and limit their mobility. She is most dangerous not in chaotic duels, but in structured engagements where preparation, discipline, and psychological pressure allow her to turn superior strength against itself.
  • Force Abilities (Force Users Only):
h3KdqR9.png

  • Exceptional strategic mind capable of long-term campaign modeling
  • Extreme psychological resilience under stress and loss
  • Highly disciplined and resistant to manipulation
  • Earned authority respected by military personnel
QF94b2S.png

  • Physically limited compared to enhanced or Force-augmented opponents
  • Suppresses grief rather than resolving it - emotional fracture possible under targeted psychological pressure
  • Loyalty to Carnifex, while controlled, may compromise independent judgment in critical moral dilemmas
  • Lacks supernatural awareness, making her vulnerable to unseen Force-based influence
NimTr8E.png

Veyra Halcyon was born on a modest Outer Rim world whose name is now little more than a classified entry in Kainate archives. Her early childhood was unremarkable - a tight-knit family, practical education, and a culture built on resilience rather than wealth. That life ended in a single night of orbital fire and descending warships. When Carnifex's forces descended upon the planet, they did so with calculated finality. Veyra watched her parents die amid the chaos, and rather than flee, she seized a fallen weapon and charged the architect of her world's destruction. She was eight years old.

Carnifex did not kill her. Whether it was curiosity, recognition of her defiance, or a desire to test something rare, he spared her life and brought her into his custody. Her early years under him were not gentle. She was not comforted, nor offered false consolation. Instead, she was confronted with harsh truths: strength determines survival, hesitation invites extinction, and power is the only lasting shield. She trained relentlessly - physical conditioning, tactical simulations, psychological endurance. Without Force sensitivity, she was forced to earn every advancement through human limitation alone. Her grief became discipline; her hatred became fuel.

As she entered adolescence, Veyra's motivation evolved. Initially, she endured training for one purpose: to grow strong enough to kill Carnifex. That quiet vow sustained her through punishing regimens and ruthless evaluations. But over time, something more complicated formed. Carnifex did not shield her from hardship; he sharpened her through it. He acknowledged competence when she earned it and withheld approval when she fell short. The man who destroyed her world was also the only one who recognized her potential without condescension. The contradiction began to take root.

By sixteen, she had begun participating in minor campaign logistics and shadow operations. Her insight into conquered populations - understanding how grief curdles into rebellion - made her uniquely valuable. She had once been the conquered. She knew where resistance hides, how it breathes. Carnifex elevated her not out of sentiment, but because she proved effective. This, more than any kindness, destabilized her original hatred. He was not her savior in any moral sense - but he had transformed her from orphaned survivor into instrument of power.

In her early twenties, Veyra assumed formal command roles within strategic operations. She earned her rank through battlefield success and meticulous planning, not favoritism. Many Sith resented her presence, viewing her as an anomaly - a non-Force user rising within an empire built on supernatural dominance. Yet Carnifex never intervened on her behalf. If she faltered, she would fall. That unspoken standard hardened her further. The girl who once attacked him in blind fury now stood at his side in controlled authority.

Now, at twenty-four, Veyra exists in a state of permanent duality. Carnifex is both destroyer and catalyst, the man who ended her childhood and the one who forged her adulthood. She does not romanticize him, nor does she absolve him. Instead, she has chosen to stand within the world he built and shape it with her own will. Whether she is his greatest triumph or his most patient reckoning remains unwritten. But one truth endures: she is no longer the child in the ashes. She is what survived them.

J9zcIW8.png

  • Military Base Name: The Dread Fortress
  • Classification: Sith Citadel
  • Location: Byss, Deep Core
  • Affiliation: The Kainate
  • Population: Moderate - The Dread Fortress maintains a permanent military presence befitting its role as both bastion and ritual nexus. Approximately twelve thousand active-duty military personnel are stationed within its walls at any given time, forming the core defensive garrison and operating its layered shield arrays, siege batteries, and interdiction grids. Alongside them reside roughly two thousand Sith - ranging from acolytes and apprentices to fully anointed Lords - who use the fortress as a training ground, sanctum, and command seat. Supporting this force is an additional four thousand engineers, logisticians, alchemical artisans, technicians, and bonded retainers who sustain daily operations, maintain its war infrastructure, and staff the Forge and Vault sectors. Rotational detachments from elite formations, including select Blackblade Guard elements and specialized Imperial units, periodically swell the population during campaigns or major rituals, ensuring that the Dread Fortress is never merely inhabited - it is actively manned, watched, and ready.
  • Demographics: Predominantly Human and Sith Pureblood (combined ~60%). The remainder consists of select Imperial-aligned species including Epicanthix, Kiffar, and various cybernetically augmented specialists. A small contingent of bio-engineered guardians derived from preserved Yuuzhan Vong shaping techniques inhabit restricted sectors. No civilian population. All inhabitants are sworn Imperial assets or bonded retainers.
  • Accessibility: The Fortress remains geographically isolated within Byss' southern marshlands. Two reinforced causeways extend north and south, both heavily monitored and layered with concealed defensive systems. Airspace above the marsh is restricted by sensor interference grids and shield distortion fields. A submerged landing platform beneath the marsh provides controlled ingress for authorized vessels only. Access is strictly military or with command authorization; the location is not open to civilian traffic. Approach without clearance is met with immediate interdiction.
  • Description: The Dread Fortress rises from the southern marshlands of Byss like a blade forced up through the skin of the world. Built upon the same solitary bedrock outcrop that anchored Moridin's original citadel, the structure now dominates the trinary lake system that surrounds it. Black sarassian iron and obsidian-veined stone form its outer shell, layered in angular buttresses and serrated battlements that seem less constructed and more grown from shadow. The marsh itself has been reshaped into a defensive labyrinth - engineered channels, false ground, sink pits, and bio-shaped flora forming a hostile perimeter that swallows the unwary. In stormlight, the fortress appears almost skeletal, its edges cutting against the horizon while thunder rolls endlessly across the waters.

The outer walls are tiered and reinforced, rising in successive elevations that force any would-be attacker into layered kill-zones. Embedded along their faces are recessed siege cannons, flak towers, and shield emitters hidden behind armored slats. At irregular intervals, narrow vertical apertures glow faint crimson, venting reactor heat and channeling ritual energy from the depths below. Unlike the ruin it replaced, nothing here sags or crumbles; every angle is deliberate, every shadow controlled. Even the causeways that stretch north and south appear fractured and ancient from a distance, yet upon approach reveal seamless reinforcement and concealed weapon housings. The illusion of decay has been weaponized.

Above it all towers the central spire, extended beyond Moridin's original design. Its uppermost levels pierce through the low cloud cover that perpetually hangs over the marshlands. The tower's surface is etched with Sith geometries so subtle they are invisible until lightning flashes across them, momentarily illuminating runic patterns carved into the stone itself. A prismatic dark-energy focusing array crowns the summit, humming softly and drawing ambient Force currents into the structure like a heart drawing blood.

Beneath the visible fortress lies an equal measure of its mass hidden underground. The Dread Fortress descends deep into Byss' bedrock, where reinforced vaults, ritual chambers, and command bunkers form a subterranean labyrinth as vast as the spires above. The air within carries a faint metallic chill, still and heavy, as though sound itself hesitates to travel freely. It does not feel abandoned, nor merely occupied - it feels awake. The fortress does not simply stand against the marsh; it rules it, anchored in stone and shadow, a permanent wound carved into the world and crowned in iron.
CcNBF35.png

  • Outer Crownworks
    • Marshward Bastions: Encircling the fortress proper are twelve reinforced bastion towers positioned along the outer curtain wall. Each houses independent shield emitters, siege cannons, and anti-starfighter flak batteries. Internally, they contain self-sufficient garrison pods capable of sustaining full combat operations even if cut off from the main structure. Their firing arcs overlap in a perfect lattice, creating layered kill corridors across both causeways and marsh approaches. Below each bastion lies a submerged amphibious hangar housing interdiction skiffs and marsh-adapted assault platforms. These can deploy silently through concealed sluice gates into the surrounding waters.
    • Causeway Gatehouses: At both the North and South approach stand towering gate-fortresses built into the raised causeways. Each gatehouse contains biometric scanning chambers, retractable blast shutters, magnetic interdiction fields, and Sith-inscribed ward pylons. Unauthorized entrants are subjected not only to military scrutiny but to subtle Force-pressure fields that induce disorientation and unease. Hidden within the gatehouse foundations are demolition charges capable of collapsing entire segments of the causeway into the marsh should breach become imminent.
  • Exterior Complex
    • Black Parade Grounds: Immediately beyond the outer walls lies an expansive open court paved in dark stone. Used for troop mustering, ceremonial displays, and Sith convocations, the Parade Ground is surrounded by tiered observation balconies. During mass assemblies, crimson banners bearing Carnifex's sigil hang from the battlements, snapping violently in Byss' storm winds. Subterranean lift platforms beneath the plaza allow rapid deployment of armored units directly into the courtyard from underground motor pools.
    • Hall of Subjugation: A monumental entry hall within the primary gate of the fortress, lined with towering statues depicting past Sith sovereigns - Moridin among them - culminating in a larger, more imposing likeness of Carnifex. The floor is polished obsidian, reflecting those who enter in warped silhouette. Embedded within the hall are subtle psychological emitters designed to amplify feelings of smallness and vulnerability in non-aligned visitors. The space is frequently used for diplomatic intimidation.
  • Biotic and Environmental Sectors
    • Shaped Gardens: Contained bio-engineered chambers preserving remnants of Yuuzhan Vong shaping techniques, now stabilized and weaponized. Organic walls pulse faintly and respond to authorized pheromonal markers. Carnivorous flora line certain corridors, retracting only for recognized personnel. This sector doubles as both internal security and experimental laboratory.
    • Storm Channel Reservoir: An engineered water basin carved into the bedrock beneath the marsh. Storm runoff and lake overflow are channeled through turbines powering secondary systems. Hidden within the reservoir are amphibious drone platforms ready to deploy at a moment's notice.
  • Living Quarters and Infrastructure
    • Blackblade Barracks: A fortified residential and training wing dedicated to elite guard detachments. Spartan in design, the barracks include enclosed sparring arenas, tactical simulation chambers, and weapons vaults accessible only to authorized gene-markers.
    • Conclave Halls: A cluster of vaulted chambers reserved for Sith councils, advanced instruction, and high-level doctrinal discourse. The architecture here is austere but imposing, with vaulted ceilings that draw the eye upward in subtle reinforcement of hierarchy.
    • Reactor Catacombs: Buried beneath the fortress core lies a network of armored reactor chambers supplying the citadel's enormous energy demands. Each reactor is compartmentalized and shielded to prevent cascading failure. Maintenance corridors are narrow and heavily monitored.
    • Submerged Docking Vault: A concealed hangar beneath marsh level, accessed through retractable stone segments that part to reveal landing apertures. Capable of housing multiple vessels, the vault remains invisible to standard orbital scans.
  • Central Keep
    • War Nexus Chamber: Located deep within the Keep, this circular chamber serves as the primary strategic command center. A massive hololithic table projects multi-layered galactic overlays, fleet positions, and planetary surveillance grids. Tiered command stations surround the central display, manned by elite tactical officers and Sith overseers. The chamber is protected by redundant blast doors and independent power cores. If the fortress is placed under siege, the War Nexus can operate autonomously for months.
    • Inner Sanctum: A restricted ring of corridors encircling the Throne-Spire's base. These halls are inscribed with active Sith runic wards that subtly distort spatial perception for unauthorized Force-users. Gravity shifts slightly at irregular intervals, and ambient light seems to dim unpredictably. Only Sith Lords and designated Blackblade Guard captains are permitted unrestricted passage.
  • Throne Spire
    • Ascendant Spiral: A grand interior staircase carved directly into the tower's core, etched with restored Kiffar and Sith runes preserved from Moridin's era. The staircase coils upward through increasingly narrow and austere levels, each tier reserved for progressively higher authority. Lighting grows dimmer as one ascends, replaced by faint red luminescence emanating from embedded kyber filaments.
    • Throne of Dread: The summit chamber of the fortress. Circular, panoramic, and severe. Reinforced bloodpane allows full view of the storm-wracked marshlands below while layered ray shields maintain protection. Carnifex's throne rests upon a raised obsidian dais, carved from a single slab of mantle-stone. Beneath the dais lies a Force-conductive matrix channeling energy from ritual chambers far below. The chamber is acoustically engineered so that even the faintest spoken word carries authority.
    • Chamber of Silent Meditation: Adjacent to the throne chamber lies a stark, windowless room lined with black stone and kyber latticework. No artificial lighting is present. The chamber exists solely for deep immersion in the Dark Side. Ambient temperature drops noticeably within its walls. Extended meditation sessions here are said to warp one's perception of time.
  • Subterranean Depths
    • Grand Alchemical Crucible: An immense forge complex carved into bedrock far beneath the visible fortress. Reactor-fed plasma conduits arc across the chamber ceiling, feeding ritual anvils and containment pylons. Suspended platforms allow Sith artisans to oversee forging operations from elevated vantage points. The chamber hums continuously with low resonance. Artifacts forged here often retain a faint residual vibration.
    • Vault of Inheritance: A multi-tiered reliquary complex accessed through concentric security rings. Outer vaults house relic weapons and holocrons; deeper chambers contain bound entities and unstable Sith constructs. The innermost sanctum is sealed by both mechanical and Force-bound locks requiring synchronized activation. The air here feels unnaturally dense, as though pressure increases subtly the closer one approaches the core.
    • Abyssal Transit Shafts: A network of vertical transit tunnels descending even deeper than the Forge. These shafts connect to emergency evacuation routes, hidden docking cradles, and ley-aligned ritual chambers at the bedrock's lowest levels. Some sections are intentionally unlit. Movement sensors track all passage.
  • Ritual Core
    • Ley Convergence Chamber: Located at the deepest stable point beneath the fortress, this circular chamber is aligned with subtle planetary Force currents. Inscribed with Sith geometries, it serves as the focal point for large-scale rituals and energy channeling operations. The chamber is silent except for a faint, constant vibration felt through the floor.
    • The Throne Beneath: At the deepest stable stratum of the Dread Fortress rests a sealed sanctum known as The Throne Beneath, accessible only through synchronized mechanical locks and Force-bound authorization. Carved directly from Byss' bedrock, the circular chamber is stark and unembellished, its raw stone walls absorbing sound and radiating an unnatural chill. The atmosphere is heavy, subdued, as though the space itself enforces reverence. At its center stands Moridin's restored throne upon a raised black-stone dais. Seated upon it is the former Emperor's shattered armor, preserved in its broken state and mounted upright as though still occupied. Subtle Force currents coil through the chamber and rise into the structure above, anchoring the fortress to its lineage.
VGDDUNH.png

  • Maximum - The Dread Fortress operates at a constant state of elevated readiness, its defenses layered both visibly and invisibly across multiple domains. A triple-tiered shield network envelops the structure at all times, combining planetary-grade ray shielding, ion deflection matrices, and Sith-augmented barrier fields woven into the very stone of the outer walls. These systems are powered by compartmentalized reactors buried deep beneath the fortress, ensuring that no single strike can cripple the defensive grid. Even during maintenance cycles, at least two shield layers remain fully active.

The marshlands themselves function as an extension of the fortress' security perimeter. Concealed gravitic mines, motion-detection pylons, and atmospheric distortion arrays blanket the surrounding terrain, while submerged interdiction drones patrol the trinary lake system in silent patterns. The causeways are fortified with retractable blast gates, internalized kill corridors, and demolition contingencies capable of collapsing entire approach segments if necessary. Unauthorized vessels entering local airspace encounter sensor interference, navigational disruption, and rapid-response anti-starfighter fire from overlapping bastion arcs.

Within the walls, security becomes increasingly compartmentalized. Each sector of the fortress can be independently sealed through layered blast doors and magnetic lockdown fields. Biometric checkpoints, gene-coded access panels, and encrypted transponder verification regulate movement between critical zones. Elite Blackblade Guard detachments rotate through interior patrol routes, supplemented by automated sentry droids and discreet surveillance grids embedded within the architecture itself. No corridor is unwatched; no chamber is without redundancy.

Beyond physical measures, the fortress is saturated with Sith warding. Runic geometries etched into structural supports generate subtle spatial distortions that disorient unauthorized Force-users and amplify hostile intent into detectable signatures. Sensitive chambers, particularly the Vault and the Throne Beneath, are bound by ritual locks requiring precise synchronization of will and lineage to open.

The Dread Fortress began as Moridin's final answer to inevitability. For nearly four centuries the Dread Lord of Byss ruled his world from palace and manor, demanding tribute yet largely allowing the populace to exist beneath his shadow. After the devastation of the Gulag Plague and the slow reweaving of galactic order, Moridin foresaw what others did not: the galaxy would not remain fractured forever. Trade routes would reopen. Alliances would reform. Empires would rise again. It was during this period of uneasy calm that he ordered the construction of the fortress in the southern marshlands - far from the capital, far from predictable avenues of attack - a bastion meant not for pageantry, but survival.

Built in haste yet with uncompromising precision, the original citadel rose from the lone bedrock outcrop amidst three vast lake systems. Slave labor and paid specialists alike toiled to erect thick duracrete walls, shield generators, and layered artillery emplacements capable of withstanding orbital bombardment. Two causeways stretched north and south through the bog, forming the only reliable access routes. The surrounding marsh was not cleared but embraced as defense. When completed, the fortress stood ready for siege that never came. No invasion reached Byss. No fleet tested its guns. The Citadel waited - vigilant, unused.

When the Sith Empire reformed, Moridin gradually withdrew from Byss' direct governance, installing a governor and maintaining influence through landholdings and financial leverage rather than open dominion. The Citadel became a secondary residence, used for isolation and the forging of artifacts within its deep-set Forge. Years passed. Then decades. Eventually, as the currents of history shifted once more, Moridin met his end. With his death, the Citadel's purpose dimmed.

Though Byss remained largely unchanged under his heirs, the fortress was not maintained. His son and daughter preferred the palace within the city, leaving the marsh-bound stronghold untouched. Storms battered its parapets. The shield generators fell silent. The Yuuzhan Vong-shaped Gardens overgrew their boundaries. The outer walls began to crack. When the One Sith later came to Byss, even they left the structure undisturbed - a brooding relic half-swallowed by fog and time. For decades the Citadel stood abandoned, its tower fractured, its halls empty save for echo and creeping vegetation.

It was during this long decay that the fortress transformed in reputation. No longer a symbol of imperial contingency, it became a haunted monument - a reminder of a dead Emperor and an era concluded. Marsh waters crept closer to its foundations. Sections of the causeways collapsed into the mire. Birds nested in broken battlements. The once-mighty stronghold became silhouette and rumor, visible from miles away yet untouched, as if the planet itself hesitated to consume it fully.

Then Darth Carnifex returned to Byss.

Once Moridin's protégé during the height of Sith ascendancy, Carnifex did not view the ruin as failure, but as inheritance. Where others saw decay, he saw foundation. Reconstruction began not just restoration, but as transformation. The fractured walls were stripped and reforged in obsidian-veined alloy. The central tower was extended into a jagged spire crowned with dark-energy arrays. Modern Kainate engineering fused with Sith ritual architecture. The marsh was reshaped into an engineered kill zone. The Forge was expanded. The Vault was sealed anew. And at the deepest level, Moridin's broken armor was entombed upon the Throne Beneath, binding legacy to dominion.

Thus the Dread Fortress was reborn - not as Moridin's refuge, but as Carnifex's declaration. Where the original citadel waited for an attack that never came, the Dread Fort stands ready not merely to endure siege, but to project power. It carries within it the memory of abandonment, the weight of decades lost to storm and silence, and the certainty that dominion does not die - it is inherited, reforged, and made sharper than before.

J9zcIW8.png

  • Name: Varykino Villa
  • Classification: Private Estate Manor, Lakeside Retreat
  • Location: Naboo, Mid Rim Territories
  • Affiliation: Publicly owned by the Naberrie family, secretly controlled by Darth Carnifex and the Kainate
  • Population: Sparse - The population of Varykino Villa remains intentionally sparse due to the estate's traditional function as a private Naberrie family retreat rather than a permanent residence. Historically, the villa was only occupied during holidays, family gatherings, or moments of personal respite away from the political center of Theed. Maintaining a minimal staff preserves the quiet and contemplative atmosphere the estate was built to provide. In the modern era, the low population also serves a practical purpose: fewer inhabitants means fewer witnesses, less logistical complexity, and greater control over who enters and leaves the island. This isolation allows the estate to operate discreetly, ensuring that both the Naberrie legacy and Carnifex's hidden interests can remain undisturbed by outside scrutiny.
  • Demographics: The visible population of Varykino is extremely small, consisting primarily of Naberrie family members during seasonal visits, a handful of long-term caretakers, and domestic service droids. The estate is designed to appear peaceful and rarely occupied, reinforcing its image as a secluded retreat. Unseen by outsiders, the villa occasionally hosts covert visitors - Sith agents, trusted operatives of Carnifex, or carefully controlled individuals connected to his dynastic ambitions. Non-human presence is minimal in order to preserve the cultural aesthetic of Naboo's aristocratic countryside.
  • Accessibility: Varykino is located on a private island in Naboo's lake country and is accessible primarily by shuttle or small watercraft. Visitors normally arrive via the Pearl Approach landing platform along the shoreline, where they are received by attendants before traveling by footpath to the villa itself. The estate is not openly restricted, but its isolation and Naberrie ownership discourage casual visitors. Unknown to most, additional concealed infrastructure beneath the island allows clandestine arrivals and departures without appearing on Naboo's civilian traffic networks.
  • Description: Varykino Villa stands upon a tranquil island in Naboo's lake district, surrounded by calm waters, flowering groves, and rolling green hills that stretch toward the distant mountains. Built in the refined architectural style common to Naboo's noble estates, the manor features pale stone walls, arched colonnades, terracotta roofs, and wide windows that open toward the lake. The surrounding grounds include carefully maintained gardens, quiet courtyards, and shaded paths that wind through sculpted hedges and flowering trees. To visitors, the estate appears as a serene retreat designed for reflection and respite from public life.

The villa carries deep historical and emotional significance for the Naberrie family, most notably through its association with Padmé Amidala. At the center of the manor stands the Grand Atrium of Water and Sky, where a cascading indoor waterfall flows into a reflecting pool beneath vaulted ceilings. A large portrait of Padmé dominates the chamber's far wall, overlooking the lake beyond and serving as both a memorial and a reminder of Naboo's political legacy. Other rooms throughout the estate preserve artifacts, artwork, and family records that celebrate the Naberrie lineage and the cultural heritage of Naboo.

Despite its tranquil appearance, the estate has quietly evolved beyond its original purpose. Through subtle influence over the Naberrie family and careful architectural modifications, Darth Carnifex has integrated hidden facilities beneath the island and villa. These underground chambers remain completely concealed from ordinary visitors and even from most of Naboo's authorities. They allow the estate to function as a discreet point of observation and communication without disturbing the peaceful facade above.

The contrast between the villa's serene beauty and the hidden mechanisms beneath it reflects the broader duality of the estate itself. Above ground, Varykino remains a symbol of Naboo's grace, history, and quiet dignity. Beneath its foundations, however, lies a carefully engineered network of chambers and surveillance systems that ensure the estate quietly serves a far more secretive purpose within Carnifex's wider designs.

  • Estate Grounds
    • Pearl Approach Landing Platform: The Pearl Approach serves as the primary public landing site for visitors arriving at Varykino Villa. Constructed from smooth Naboo marble, the platform curves gently along the island's southern shoreline and includes a covered pavilion where guests are received before entering the estate. Decorative lanterns, flowering reeds, and stone benches frame the landing area, reinforcing the estate's reputation as a peaceful lakeside retreat. Shuttle traffic here is light and infrequent, contributing to the villa's quiet atmosphere.
    • Garden of Twenty Silences: Located behind the main villa, the Garden of Twenty Silences is a symmetrical sculpture garden composed of twenty statues representing historic noble houses of Naboo. The statues stand along carefully arranged pathways surrounded by trimmed hedges and flowering plants. Visitors often stroll the garden during the afternoon or evening, finding the quiet arrangement ideal for reflection and conversation. The statues themselves are carved in Naboo's classical artistic style, giving the garden the atmosphere of an outdoor memorial.
    • Stone Pier of the Wind: Extending from the island's southern edge, the Stone Pier of the Wind reaches gracefully into the surrounding lake. Built of pale stone and lined with lanterns, the pier offers a peaceful vantage point from which visitors can watch the sunrise or sunset across the water. Small boats are occasionally moored here for leisurely trips around the lake or short journeys to the mainland shore. The gentle sound of waves against the pier makes it one of the most tranquil locations on the estate.
    • Marble Watchtower: The Marble Watchtower sits on a small ridge overlooking the eastern side of the island, providing a wide view of the lake district and surrounding hills. Its open pavilion design allows cool breezes to flow through the structure while visitors read, write, or observe the night sky. A small telescope and several comfortable chairs are arranged beneath the tower's dome for stargazing during Naboo's clear evenings. Despite its modest size, the tower is one of the most scenic vantage points on the estate.
    • Hidden Landing Pad: Hidden along a rocky cliff behind the villa, there lies a hidden landing pad which appears to be little more than a scenic overlook built from dark stone. In reality, the platform conceals a sophisticated descent mechanism capable of lowering visiting craft into the subterranean hangar beneath the island. The pad remains invisible from most aerial perspectives due to careful positioning among cliffs and vegetation. To casual observers, the structure blends naturally into the island's landscape.
  • Estate Proper
    • Grand Atrium of Water and Sky: The Grand Atrium forms the architectural heart of Varykino Villa. Towering windows overlook the lake while a cascading indoor waterfall spills into a shallow reflecting pool beneath the vaulted ceiling. Dominating the far wall is a large portrait of Padmé Amidala, depicted in regal Naboo attire as she gazes outward toward the water. The atrium functions as both a welcoming reception hall and a memorial to the Naberrie family's connection to Naboo's history.
    • Solar Reflection Gallery: The Solar Reflection Gallery is a long corridor designed to capture and refract sunlight through mirrored panels and decorative mosaics. Throughout the day, shifting patterns of light move across the marble floor as the sun passes overhead. Paintings and historical displays line the gallery walls, highlighting important moments in Naboo's cultural and political past. The space is often used for quiet walks or casual conversations between guests.
    • Gilded Guest Chambers: The guest wing of Varykino contains several spacious suites designed to accommodate visiting family members or dignitaries. Each room includes carved Naboo furniture, private balconies, and carefully curated artwork drawn from the Naberrie collection. The suites emphasize comfort and privacy, reflecting the villa's role as a place of retreat rather than public ceremony. Despite their luxury, the rooms maintain the understated elegance typical of Naboo architecture.
    • Opaline Kitchen and Hearth: The kitchen complex is located toward the rear of the villa and serves as the operational center for meal preparation and hospitality. A large marble preparation island sits at the center of the room, surrounded by ovens, storage cabinets, and modern cooking equipment. Service droids assist with most daily operations, though human caretakers oversee the estate during periods of occupation. The kitchen's design blends modern efficiency with Naboo's traditional domestic aesthetic.
    • Crimson Salon: The Crimson Salon is a richly decorated lounge used for conversation, music, and quiet gatherings. Soft red fabrics, comfortable seating, and low lighting give the room a warm and intimate atmosphere. Nabooan musical instruments and poetry collections are kept nearby for informal performances during family visits. In the evenings, the salon often becomes one of the villa's most lively spaces.
    • Memory Cloister: The Memory Cloister is a small circular chamber dedicated to the history of the Naberrie family. Holoframes, journals, and preserved artifacts line the walls, telling the story of the family's long service to Naboo. The room is particularly focused on the life and legacy of Padmé Amidala, whose memory remains central to the estate's identity. Visitors often spend time here reflecting on Naboo's political and cultural heritage.
    • Dueling Court: The Dueling Court is an enclosed stone courtyard surrounded by ivy-covered arches. Originally designed as a fencing garden, the space allows residents or guests to practice martial forms or athletic training. Its smooth stone floor and open sky make it suitable for both formal sparring and casual exercise. The quiet environment also makes the courtyard a useful space for meditation.
    • Lunarium Conservatory: The Lunarium Conservatory is a glass-domed greenhouse containing a diverse collection of Nabooan plant life. Many of the plants bloom at night, filling the chamber with soft fragrances and faint bioluminescent light after sunset. Stone pathways wind through the vegetation, creating a peaceful indoor garden. The conservatory is often used as a place for relaxation and contemplation.
    • East Wing Nursery: The East Wing Nursery is a preserved children's room decorated with colorful murals and handcrafted toys. Originally intended for young members of the Naberrie family, the room still contains antique furniture and heirloom decorations. Although rarely used today, it remains carefully maintained as part of the estate's heritage. Its warm atmosphere contrasts with the more formal rooms elsewhere in the villa.
    • The Black Study: The Black Study is a private working chamber reserved for Darth Carnifex during his visits to the estate. The room is far more austere than the rest of the villa, furnished primarily with a dark desk, several shelves of books, and a narrow window overlooking the lake. The minimalist design creates an environment conducive to quiet thought and uninterrupted work. Few individuals other than Carnifex himself are permitted to enter the room.
    • Lakefire Bath: Located beneath the western wing of the manor, the Lakefire Bath is a secluded chamber built around a natural geothermal spring. Warm mineral waters fill a circular pool illuminated by soft ambient lighting. The bath provides a place for relaxation and physical restoration after travel or exertion. A small skylight allows moonlight to reflect across the water during the night.
    • Sophia Naberrie's Suite: Located in the villa's quieter western wing, Sophia Naberrie's suite functions as both her private residence and administrative center for overseeing the estate. The chamber consists of a spacious bedroom, a lakeside sitting room, and a study where Sophia manages the day-to-day affairs of Varykino, including staff coordination and visitor arrangements. Furnishings emphasize Nabooan elegance - soft fabrics, carved furniture, and wide windows overlooking the lake - reflecting her Naberrie heritage while subtly acknowledging her elevated status within Carnifex's household. Though outwardly refined and welcoming, the suite also contains discreet communication terminals allowing Sophia to quietly coordinate with the villa's hidden infrastructure and report developments to Carnifex when necessary.
    • Saryn Naberrie's Workshop: Saryn Naberrie maintains a private workshop within a converted chamber adjacent to the villa's lower interior levels. The room is filled with scientific instruments, engineering tools, and experimental workstations where he studies genetics, technology, and Sith-inspired innovations. Despite its placement within a noble estate, the space resembles a hybrid laboratory and engineering studio, with datapads, schematics, and partially assembled devices scattered across its worktables. The workshop serves as Saryn's personal domain for experimentation and invention, reflecting his reputation as a gifted scientist and engineer within Carnifex's inner circle.
  • Hidden Facilities
    • Hollow Wing Hanger: Hollow Wing is a concealed hangar complex located beneath the island's bedrock. The chamber is large enough to house several small spacecraft, including shuttles and stealth transports. Maintenance equipment, refueling stations, and concealed launch tunnels allow vessels to operate without appearing in Naboo's civilian traffic logs. The facility connects to a hidden landing pad above through a descending landing platform.
    • Crucible Hollow: Crucible Hollow is a hidden laboratory dedicated to Sith alchemical work and experimental research. The chamber contains specialized equipment, alchemical vats, and worktables used for crafting artifacts or conducting biological experimentation. Its location deep beneath the villa ensures that any unusual activity remains isolated from the estate above. Access to the facility is tightly restricted.
    • Dynastic Gene Archive: A secure genetics archive connected to both Crucible Hollow and Saryn Naberrie's Workshop. The chamber contains cryogenic storage units holding blood samples, tissue cultures, and genomic data belonging to influential bloodlines Carnifex is studying or preserving. Data banks catalog genetic traits such as Force sensitivity, longevity markers, and behavioral patterns. The facility ensures that valuable biological material can be preserved indefinitely for future strand-casting or experimentation.
    • Stillborn Depths Stasis Vault: The Stillborn Depths is a subterranean vault buried beneath the lakebed below the island. Rows of sealed stasis chambers and carbonite pods are housed within the vault's reinforced walls. The facility is designed to preserve biological subjects or sensitive materials for long periods without degradation. Its remote location makes it one of the most secure areas of the entire complex.
    • Black Echo Communications Nexus: Black Echo is a concealed communications chamber used to transmit encrypted signals across the galaxy. Advanced hyperwave equipment allows messages to be sent without appearing on conventional communication networks. The chamber's shielding prevents outside detection and protects the transmissions from interception. Through this system, Carnifex can maintain contact with distant allies and operations.
    • Drowned Eye Sensor Blacksite: The Drowned Eye serves as a hidden surveillance center monitoring activity across the surrounding region. Sensor arrays and analytic systems track communications traffic, atmospheric disturbances, and Force-sensitive signatures within the lake district. Information gathered here is quietly routed through the estate's communications network for analysis. The chamber operates continuously without drawing attention to itself.
    • Escape Transit Tunnel: A hidden evacuation corridor leading from the villa's lowest levels to a concealed exit point outside of Lake Country. The tunnel contains a small speeder bay and an underwater submersible dock for rapid escape if the estate is compromised. The exit is masked beneath natural rock formations along the lakeshore. This ensures that Carnifex or key personnel can disappear from the estate without using the main landing platforms.
VGDDUNH.png

  • Medium - Security at Varykino Villa is intentionally discreet, reflecting the estate's identity as a peaceful Nabooan retreat rather than a fortified compound. Rather than relying on visible defenses or stationed guards, the villa's security infrastructure focuses primarily on awareness and controlled access. Subtle sensor grids monitor arrivals at the Pearl Approach landing platform and along the island's shoreline, quietly identifying incoming vessels and verifying visitor credentials before they reach the manor grounds. These systems are designed to blend seamlessly into the estate's architecture and landscaping, preserving the villa's tranquil appearance for guests and family members.

Within the manor itself, a series of unobtrusive monitoring systems operate in the background. Biometric scanners and environmental sensors are embedded within door frames, hallways, and common areas, allowing the estate's systems to quietly catalog the movements and identities of visitors. These safeguards are primarily meant to protect the privacy of the Naberrie family and ensure that unfamiliar individuals cannot move freely through the villa without detection. Service droids and caretaker staff are also integrated into this network, providing additional oversight while maintaining the illusion of a normally staffed household.

The villa's more sensitive areas are protected through architectural design rather than overt force. Hidden lifts and restricted corridors control access to the deeper sections of the estate, ensuring that only authorized individuals can reach secluded chambers or descend into the island's lower levels. Certain entry points require biometric verification or coded access commands, and concealed surveillance nodes quietly track movement near these locations. To outsiders, these features appear to be ordinary elements of a large private estate, but they allow the manor's owners to maintain firm control over its interior spaces.

While Varykino is not defended like a military installation, the estate does maintain limited defensive contingencies. A small number of automated security droids can be activated in the event of an emergency, and the hidden hangar facilities beneath the island are shielded from conventional detection methods. Combined with the estate's geographic isolation and limited population, these measures ensure that Varykino remains both secure and discreet, preserving its reputation as a quiet Nabooan refuge while quietly safeguarding the interests that now lie hidden beneath its foundations.

NimTr8E.png

Varykino Villa was originally constructed generations ago as a private lakeside retreat for the Naberrie family, one of Naboo's long-established noble houses whose members frequently served the monarchy and later the Republic in civic and political roles. Situated on a secluded island in Naboo's tranquil lake country, the estate was designed in the classical Naboo style - graceful domes, colonnaded terraces, and broad gardens that blended harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. From its earliest years, Varykino was intended not as a seat of power but as a place of quiet reflection, where members of the Naberrie family could withdraw from the formal responsibilities of Theed and the public life of the capital. The villa's calm waters, manicured gardens, and sweeping views of the surrounding hills quickly made it one of the most beloved properties in the family's holdings.

Over time the villa became closely tied to the personal history of the Naberrie lineage itself. Several generations of the family spent formative years there, and many important family decisions were made within its halls rather than in the bustling environment of the capital. The estate gained particular significance during the lifetime of Padmé Amidala, whose connection to the Naberrie family elevated the villa's cultural importance across Naboo. Though Padmé's duties as queen and later senator kept her far from the quiet lake retreat for much of her life, the estate remained a symbolic anchor for the family's legacy, a place where the memory of her service and sacrifice was preserved through portraits, archives, and family traditions.

Following the political upheavals that reshaped the galaxy in later centuries, Varykino gradually faded from public attention. The Naberrie family retained ownership, but the estate was visited less frequently as successive generations pursued careers beyond Naboo or spent their lives within the capital's political circles. Caretakers maintained the villa and its gardens, preserving its beauty even during long periods of quiet inactivity. This isolation would eventually prove significant, as the estate's distance from Naboo's political center allowed it to evolve beyond its original purpose without attracting attention.

It was during this later period that the family of Saryn Naberrie rose to prominence within the household that maintained the estate. Saryn was born into wealth and privilege, the son of an influential branch of the Naberrie family whose status afforded him access to the finest education Naboo could provide. Beneath this outward prosperity, however, his childhood was marked by turmoil, as his father's cruelty cast a long shadow over the family. Despite the hardships he and his sister endured, Saryn grew into a thoughtful and generous young nobleman, known among his peers for his sharp intellect and willingness to share his family's wealth with those he cared for.

The course of Saryn's life changed dramatically when his family entered the service of Darth Carnifex. The powerful Sith Lord's influence soon reached deep into the Naberrie household, culminating in the quiet removal of Saryn's abusive father and the restructuring of the family's fortunes. Freed from the man who had dominated his early life, the young noble willingly embraced a new role within Carnifex's circle. Drawn by both fascination and loyalty, Saryn became one of the Sith Lord's favored companions and eventually his consort, an arrangement that surprised many who had known him in his youth but which he accepted with remarkable enthusiasm.

Varykino itself became deeply entwined with this transformation. The estate's isolation and longstanding Naberrie ownership made it an ideal location for private gatherings and discreet meetings far from the scrutiny of Naboo's authorities. Under the quiet supervision of Sophia Naberrie, who oversaw the estate on Carnifex's behalf, the villa was gradually expanded and modernized while preserving its outward Nabooan elegance. It was within the serene halls of the villa - far removed from politics, war, or the watchful eyes of outsiders - that Saryn and Carnifex ultimately formalized their bond in a private ceremony, transforming Varykino from a mere family retreat into a place of personal significance within Carnifex's wider life.

In the years since that ceremony, Varykino has continued to grow in quiet importance while remaining outwardly unchanged to the casual observer. The gardens still bloom each season, the portrait of Padmé Amidala still overlooks the Grand Atrium, and visitors see only a peaceful Nabooan estate preserved by tradition. Beneath that tranquil surface, however, the villa now stands as a carefully maintained nexus within Carnifex's network - part family home, part sanctuary, and part silent watchpost over the world of Naboo itself. Its history reflects the merging of Naboo's noble heritage with the hidden ambitions of the Sith Lord who now claims it as one of his most personal domains.

  • Age: 44
  • Force Sensitivity: Untrained Force Sensitive - Sophia possesses a faint natural sensitivity to the Force, but it has never been formally cultivated. The only notable manifestation of this sensitivity is a subtle enhancement to her presence and persuasiveness in conversation, giving her a naturally calming and influential demeanor. Darth Carnifex has never taken interest in training her, considering her better suited to the social and domestic sphere of his household.
  • Species: Human (Nabooian)
  • Appearance: Sophia Naberrie is a strikingly beautiful Naboo noblewoman whose elegance reflects the refined aesthetic traditions of her homeworld. She stands slightly above average height with a slender, statuesque build that carries an air of dignified composure. Her long, flowing golden-blonde hair is typically worn loose or arranged in elaborate Naboo aristocratic styles, often cascading over her shoulders in soft waves. Her eyes are a pale green-blue, expressive and observant, often betraying a depth of quiet thoughtfulness behind her otherwise serene demeanor.

Her fashion reflects both Naboo aristocracy and the wealth afforded by her association with Darth Carnifex. She favors flowing silk gowns in soft creams, pale golds, and rose hues, paired with ornate jewelry and delicate golden adornments reminiscent of Naboo court fashion. Gold collars, armlets, and earrings are common, giving her a regal and timeless presence. Even in private settings she maintains a carefully curated appearance, embodying the grace and cultivated beauty expected of a woman of Naboo's old noble houses.

Despite the luxury surrounding her, Sophia carries subtle signs of the hardships she endured earlier in life. There is often a faint tension in her posture and a watchful quality in her gaze, as though she remains perpetually aware of the fragility of peace. Her voice is gentle and melodic, but when necessary it can carry the quiet authority of someone accustomed to navigating powerful and dangerous personalities.

  • Personality: Sophia Naberrie is warm, compassionate, and deeply empathetic, traits that remained intact despite years of emotional abuse in her earlier life. She possesses a natural generosity of spirit and a strong inclination toward kindness, qualities she passed on to her son Saryn during his upbringing.

Her relationship with Darth Carnifex is one of intense romantic devotion. To Sophia, Carnifex is the man who rescued her from cruelty and humiliation, the figure who shattered the oppressive life she once endured. In her eyes he is both protector and liberator, and she dedicates herself to him completely - body, mind, and soul. She sees beauty and strength where others see only tyranny, and she finds comfort in the certainty of his power.

Sophia harbors a deep and abiding resentment toward the Jedi Order. During the years of abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband, several Jedi acquaintances of his were aware of the situation yet did nothing to intervene. Their inaction left an indelible scar on her worldview. To Sophia, the Jedi's claims of compassion ring hollow; she sees them as distant moralists who preach virtue yet fail to act when true injustice stands before them.

Despite these hardened convictions, Sophia herself remains gentle and nurturing in temperament. She prefers harmony to conflict and beauty to cruelty, surrounding herself with art, music, and culture. Within Carnifex's household she serves as a stabilizing presence, her calm demeanor balancing the often volatile personalities that surround the Dark Lord.

  • Keen Emotional Perception: Sophia is exceptionally perceptive when it comes to reading people. Years spent navigating court life and surviving an abusive marriage have made her highly attuned to shifts in mood, tone, and hidden motives.
  • Resilient Spirit: Despite the trauma of her earlier life, Sophia possesses remarkable emotional resilience. She has rebuilt her identity and sense of self through devotion, art, and family, allowing her to remain composed even in the intimidating environment of Sith society.
QF94b2S.png

  • Noncombatant: Sophia possesses little ability to defend herself physically and must rely on protectors.
  • Emotional Attachment: Her devotion to Carnifex and her love for her son can leave her vulnerable to manipulation by enemies seeking leverage.
  • Sheltered Lifestyle: Having spent most of her life within aristocratic circles or under the protection of powerful figures, Sophia lacks practical experience with survival, combat, or dangerous environments.
  • Ideological Bias Against the Jedi: Her deep resentment toward the Jedi Order sometimes clouds her judgment when dealing with Force-users aligned with them, making her less objective than she otherwise might be.

Sophia Naberrie was born into a lesser cadet branch of the Naberrie family of Naboo, a lineage connected to the planet's respected aristocracy but far removed from the principal political figures of the house. Though not among the most powerful Naberries, her family still enjoyed the comforts of Naboo's refined noble culture. Sophia was raised among art galleries, lakeside estates, and elegant court functions, educated in literature, music, diplomacy, and the careful etiquette expected of a Naboo noblewoman. From an early age she possessed a gentle temperament and remarkable poise, traits that made her well suited for the life of aristocratic society she had been born into.

Like many daughters of noble families, Sophia's future was largely determined by the interests of her relatives. In her late teens she was married to a member of another Naboo noble house in a union meant to strengthen social ties between their families. What outwardly appeared to be a respectable and advantageous marriage quickly became a deeply unhappy one. Her husband proved domineering, cruel, and frequently abusive behind closed doors. Within Naboo's tightly controlled aristocratic circles, such matters were rarely spoken of openly. Sophia endured years of quiet suffering, trapped within a marriage that society expected her to preserve for the sake of family honor.

During these years she bore two children: Saryn Naberrie, her eldest son, and Sera Naberrie, his younger sister. Sophia devoted herself entirely to protecting and raising them as best she could within the confines of her situation. She did everything possible to shield them from their father's volatile temper, and it was through her influence that Saryn developed the empathy, intelligence, and cultivated tastes that would later define him. Even under constant pressure, Sophia remained a gentle and attentive mother, determined that her children would not inherit the bitterness of their father.

The turning point in her life came when Darth Carnifex entered the orbit of Naboo's aristocracy. Through circumstances known only to a handful of individuals, Carnifex became aware of the situation within the Naberrie household. What followed was swift and absolute. Sophia's husband vanished under mysterious circumstances, his disappearance quietly explained away through carefully managed rumors of travel, private scandal, and eventually presumed death. The truth - that Carnifex personally eliminated him - was never revealed beyond the smallest circle of confidants. To the outside world the matter appeared to be a tragic but mundane loss within Naboo's noble society.

In the aftermath, control of the estate known as Varykino Villa and the associated Naberrie cadet branch passed quietly into Sophia's hands. Behind the scenes, however, the property had effectively become part of Darth Carnifex's growing network of hidden holdings across the galaxy. The transformation of Varykino was subtle and discreet, carefully preserving its outward appearance as a secluded Naboo noble residence. Within those quiet halls, Sophia's life changed completely. Freed from the tyranny of her former husband, she entered Carnifex's household as both companion and concubine.

Over time Sophia's gratitude evolved into profound devotion. She came to see Carnifex not merely as a powerful Sith Lord but as the man who had rescued her from years of suffering and protected her children from the same fate. In her eyes he was both liberator and guardian, and she willingly dedicated herself to him in return. While the galaxy would come to know Carnifex as a figure of immense power and terror, Sophia experienced a far different side of him - one that, to her, justified the depth of her loyalty and love. From the quiet sanctuary of Varykino Villa, she now lives surrounded by art, culture, and family, the shadows of her former life forever hidden behind Naboo's serene façade.

  • Unit Name: Phantom Knights
  • Affiliation: The Kainate / Order of Arcane Syn - The Phantom Knights serve directly under Darth Carnifex, Darth Prazutis, and Darth Arcanix (Taeli Raaf) as clandestine assets. Their existence is tightly controlled and known only to a small circle within the Sith hierarchy. Deployment orders are typically issued through covert intelligence channels and special operations commands loyal to Carnifex, ensuring their activities cannot easily be traced back to their creators.
  • Classification: Black Ops / Psychological Warfare / Force-User Infiltration Unit
  • Description: The Phantom Knights are artificial replicas of renowned Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters, engineered through a synthesis of Sith Alchemy, genetic reconstruction, and advanced dark science. Each Phantom Knight is designed to resemble a specific Jedi figure, replicating their physical likeness, voice, and combat proficiency with unnerving accuracy.

The genetic material used to create each Phantom was obtained through a variety of clandestine means. In some cases, samples were harvested directly from the Jedi themselves during combat encounters or covert operations. In others, the Sith acquired preserved blood samples from medical archives, battlefield remains, or historical repositories. When complete samples were unavailable, Carnifex and Arcanix assembled usable genetic templates by combining fragments of incomplete material gathered over time.

The development of each Phantom Knight required years, sometimes decades, of research. Extensive data regarding the targeted Jedi was compiled from historical records, surveillance footage, eyewitness testimony, and combat analysis. Hundreds of hours of recorded engagements and detailed accounts of their abilities were processed through sophisticated combat algorithms, which were then imprinted into the developing Phantom during its gestation. This process allowed each replica to reproduce the fighting style and tactical tendencies of the Jedi they were meant to imitate.

Despite their physical resemblance and combat proficiency, Phantom Knights rarely replicate the full personality or behavioral patterns of their original counterparts. While they may resemble a Jedi hero in form and fighting technique, their mannerisms often appear subtly wrong, lacking the same composure, compassion, or moral restraint. This uncanny disparity reinforces the Sith objective: to present the galaxy with what appears to be a corrupted or fallen Jedi, thereby sowing distrust and confusion wherever the Phantoms operate.

  • Unit Size: Small
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Elite
  • Equipment:
  • Combat Function: Phantom Knights function primarily as instruments of psychological warfare and strategic deception rather than traditional battlefield units. They are deployed to regions where Jedi influence is strong or where the reputation of a specific Jedi can be weaponized. By appearing under the identity of respected Jedi figures and committing acts of brutality, sabotage, or political assassination, they deliberately undermine public trust in the Jedi Order.

Their operations often involve carefully staged incidents designed to ensure witnesses survive and spread the story of the "Jedi" responsible. In some instances they infiltrate sensitive environments under the guise of aid or diplomacy before striking at critical moments. When combat becomes unavoidable, Phantom Knights demonstrate exceptional proficiency, utilizing the lightsaber techniques and tactical instincts of the Jedi whose likeness they embody.

Because their value lies in deception, Phantom Knights rarely remain in one location for long. Once suspicion begins to build, they withdraw and allow the rumors of Jedi corruption to continue spreading long after they have vanished.
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only):
    • Broad Force Proficiency: Each Phantom Knight possesses extensive capability with the majority of fundamental Force techniques. They demonstrate strong aptitude in telekinesis, telepathic communication, sensory awareness, and other commonly practiced Force applications, wielding them with skill comparable to experienced Jedi Knights.
    • Imprinted Combat Mimicry: Every Phantom Knight mirrors the Force combat style and ability preference of the Jedi they were modeled after. However, they are incapable of replicating abilities that were uniquely developed by the original individual or those gained through rare personal experiences, ancient teachings, or specialized Force traditions.
    • Dark Side Augmentation: In addition to their imprinted Jedi-style abilities, Phantom Knights possess a limited but potent repertoire of Dark Side techniques. These commonly include Lightning, Destruction, Mind Probe, Drain, and Inflict Pain, allowing them to overwhelm opponents and reinforce the illusion of a Jedi who has fallen to darkness.
    • Force Signature Masking: Through Sith alchemy and careful conditioning, each Phantom Knight emits a Force presence nearly identical to the Jedi they are modeled after. To most Force-sensitive individuals, they feel authentic - making detection through the Force extremely difficult and allowing them to deceive even trained Jedi during brief encounters. Subtle inconsistencies may emerge under prolonged scrutiny, but by then the damage is often already done.
h3KdqR9.png

  • Psychological Disruption: Their resemblance to revered Jedi allows them to destabilize trust in the Jedi Order and create confusion across entire systems.
  • Elite Combat Proficiency: Each Phantom is engineered with highly refined combat algorithms and Force capability, making them formidable opponents in battle.
  • Operational Infiltration: Their convincing physical likeness and knowledge of their template Jedi's combat patterns allow Phantom Knights to infiltrate environments where the presence of a Jedi would normally grant immediate trust or authority.
QF94b2S.png

  • Behavioral Imperfections: Their inability to fully replicate the personalities and mannerisms of the Jedi they imitate can eventually arouse suspicion.
  • Difficult to Replace: The complex alchemical and scientific process required to create a Phantom Knight makes their numbers extremely limited.
  • Identity Fragility: Once their true nature is exposed, the Phantom Knight loses much of its strategic value, as their effectiveness depends heavily on maintaining the illusion of being a genuine Jedi.
NimTr8E.png

The Phantom Knights were conceived in the aftermath of repeated strategic frustrations faced by Darth Carnifex and Darth Arcanix in their efforts to undermine the Jedi Order through conventional means. While military force and political manipulation had yielded results, both Sith Lords recognized a deeper truth: the Jedi derived as much power from their reputation as from their mastery of the Force. So long as the galaxy believed in the Jedi as incorruptible guardians, their influence would persist. The solution, then, was not merely to defeat the Jedi - but to redefine them in the eyes of the galaxy.

The earliest iterations of the Phantom Knights began as crude experiments in Sith alchemy and genetic reconstruction. Initial subjects were unstable, often suffering from rapid degeneration or psychological collapse as incomplete genetic templates and flawed imprinting methods produced imperfect results. Undeterred, they refined their approach over years of meticulous research. They expanded their efforts to include the acquisition of genetic material through battlefield recovery, covert harvesting, and the exploitation of medical archives. Simultaneously, vast repositories of Jedi combat recordings, historical accounts, and behavioral analyses were compiled and fed into increasingly sophisticated combat algorithms.

Breakthrough came when the process of imprint gestation was perfected - an unholy fusion of biological growth and data implantation. During development, each Phantom Knight would be subjected to continuous streams of curated information, allowing the artificial mind to internalize the combat styles and tactical tendencies of its template. This was paired with Sith alchemical conditioning that bound the subject irrevocably to the will of its creators. Yet even at the height of this success, one limitation remained unavoidable: while the Phantoms could replicate skill and appearance with uncanny precision, they could not fully reproduce the lived experiences that defined the Jedi they imitated. The result was a being that was convincing, but never truly identical.

Their first confirmed deployment marked a turning point in galactic perception. Appearing on a frontier world plagued by unrest, a Phantom Knight bearing the likeness of a respected Jedi mediator intervened publicly - only to escalate the situation into violence that culminated in the deaths of local leadership. Witnesses swore to the identity of the Jedi responsible, and though the Order quickly denied involvement, doubt had already taken root. In the weeks that followed, similar incidents began to surface across distant systems, each attributed to different Jedi figures, each eroding confidence in the Order's integrity.

Since that time, the Phantom Knights have become one of the most insidious weapons in the arsenal of the Kainate and Order of Arcane Syn. Deployed sparingly but with devastating precision, they operate not to win battles, but to poison trust itself. Entire sectors have been thrown into confusion by their actions, with governments hesitating to accept Jedi aid and populations questioning whether their protectors have turned against them. In this way, Carnifex and Arcanix achieved something extraordinary: they transformed the image of the Jedi from a symbol of hope into a source of fear, using the Order's own legacy as the blade that cuts it down.

  • Structure Name: Senatorial Heights Residential Tower
  • Classification: Luxury Residential Tower / Safehouse Network
  • Location: Upper Senate District, Coruscant
  • Affiliation: Covertly owned through layered shell corporations by Darth Carnifex and Taeli Raaf. Publicly registered under a respectable but unremarkable real estate holding consortium specializing in heritage redevelopment.
  • Accessibility: The tower is positioned within one of the most tightly regulated vertical strata of Coruscant, requiring navigation clearance through Senate District air lanes and authorization for upper-tier docking platforms. Public access is technically permitted - consistent with its classification as a luxury residential complex - but in practice is highly selective. Prospective residents, guests, and service personnel must pass through exhaustive identity verification, financial vetting, and behavioral screening.

In truth, accessibility is curated rather than restricted. Tenancy is deliberately sparse, with entire floors remaining unoccupied or assigned to carefully vetted individuals, many of whom are unknowingly selected for their discretion, political irrelevance, or manipulability. Private turbolifts, segmented access codes, and subtly rerouted internal pathways allow Carnifex and Taeli to traverse the structure without intersecting with residents or staff. Certain levels do not appear on public schematics at all, existing as "architectural redundancies" within official records.
  • Description: Senatorial Heights rises as a slender, elegant spire amid the monumental architecture of the Senate District, its design blending Republic-era refinement with subtle modern reinforcement. Its exterior is clad in pale stone and reflective transparisteel, accented with understated gold inlays that catch the perpetual glow of Coruscant's skyline. Unlike more ostentatious towers nearby, its presence is dignified rather than dominant - precisely the kind of structure that fades into the background of power.

Internally, the building is organized into expansive residential suites, private lounges, observation balconies, and quiet communal spaces. Naboo-inspired aesthetics persist throughout - curved walls, open layouts, and warm lighting - evoking a sense of cultivated serenity. However, beneath this surface lies a carefully reengineered internal framework. Over the past year, entire subsystems have been quietly replaced or supplemented: security grids rerouted, surveillance nodes embedded within decorative architecture, and structural redundancies converted into hidden chambers.

The former penthouse of Padmé Amidala remains intact at the tower's crown, now serving as the central anchor of operations. From this apex, the building functions as a vertical network of controlled environments - each floor a layer of deniability, each corridor a potential vector for unseen movement. To the galaxy, it is a high-end residence. In reality, it is a fully integrated safehouse complex embedded in the heart of galactic civilization.
CcNBF35.png

  • Crown Suite
    • Panoramic Balcony and Landing Apex: Encircling the Crown Suite, the balcony provides uninterrupted views over the Senate District while doubling as a discreet landing zone for select craft. Traffic is rare and carefully timed, with transponder signatures masked to blend into legitimate Senate District flight patterns. The open-air design also allows for line-of-sight communication and emergency extraction, making it both a ceremonial and practical space.
    • Grand Salon: A circular, elegantly furnished chamber designed for intimate yet authoritative gatherings. Low seating, artful symmetry, and soft lighting create an atmosphere of calm civility, masking the weight of negotiations conducted within. Embedded field generators ensure total acoustic isolation, while subtle Force-dampening wards reduce the ability of visitors to perceive intent or emotional undercurrents.
    • Private Chambers: Hidden behind seamless architectural panels are a series of isolated rooms accessible only through encrypted or Force-triggered mechanisms. These chambers serve multiple purposes - secure negotiation rooms, meditation spaces, and emergency fallback zones. Each is independently shielded, capable of sustaining life support and isolation in the event the rest of the suite is compromised.
    • Secure Communications Chamber: A dedicated room lined with signal-dampening materials and advanced encryption arrays. Used for long-range, high-security transmissions, including Sith channels, off-world coordination, and sensitive negotiations. The chamber operates on isolated power and processing systems, ensuring that no signal leakage can be traced back to the tower.
    • Master Bedchamber: Maintained as a fully functional living space to preserve the illusion of habitation, this area doubles as a hardened safe zone. Beneath its refined design are reinforced walls, independent environmental controls, and concealed defensive measures. It serves as both a resting space and a last-resort defensive position.
    • Culinary Suite: A refined, fully functional kitchen designed to maintain the illusion of normal habitation. Outfitted with advanced food synthesizers and traditional preparation space, it supports both rapid provisioning and curated meals. Concealed storage, independent environmental controls, and a hidden service access link it to lower-level supply routes, ensuring complete self-sufficiency without external reliance.
    • Armory Vault: Hidden within a sealed section of the suite, the armory contains a curated selection of personal weapons, armor components, and specialized equipment. Nothing overtly militaristic is visible - everything is designed for concealment, rapid deployment, and deniability. Access is tightly restricted and compartmentalized.
    • Medical Bay: A compact but highly advanced medical chamber capable of trauma stabilization, surgical intervention, and recovery. Equipped with automated surgical systems and discreet bacta integration, it allows treatment without reliance on external facilities. Its existence is completely absent from any official building schematics.
  • Upper Floors
    • Executive Residences: The uppermost residential levels beneath the Crown Suite are sparsely populated by carefully curated tenants. These individuals - minor officials, quiet elites, or fabricated identities - provide the illusion of legitimacy while posing minimal risk. Their suites are luxurious but subtly monitored, with embedded surveillance and behavioral tracking ensuring that no resident becomes a liability.
    • Atrium Galleries: Several floors have been opened into multi-level atriums filled with curated greenery, art installations, and controlled natural lighting. These spaces act as informal meeting grounds where intermediaries or guests can be received without exposing the true operational areas of the tower. Acoustic dampening and sensor baffling ensure that conversations remain private even in open environments.
    • Observation Corridors: Disguised as architectural design features, these corridors allow for passive monitoring of movement across key upper levels. One-way transparisteel, micro-sensor grids, and concealed vantage points enable unseen oversight of both residents and visitors, feeding directly into the building's central surveillance network.
  • Lower Floors
    • Standard Residential Blocks: The lower residential tiers house the majority of the building's visible population. While still luxurious, these floors are less exclusive than the upper levels and serve to reinforce the tower's public identity as a high-end residence. Security here is present but unobtrusive - routine patrols, access-controlled lifts, and maintenance droids that double as passive observers.
    • Administrative Offices: Positioned within the lower-middle levels, these offices maintain the façade of an actively managed property. Staffed by vetted personnel and supplemented by falsified records, they handle tenant inquiries, financial transactions, and maintenance coordination. In reality, all operations are tightly scripted, ensuring that no external oversight uncovers irregularities.
    • Service Corridors: Running parallel to the main residential routes, these corridors form a secondary movement network used by maintenance units - and, when necessary, by the tower's true owners. Expanded and subtly modified, they allow rapid, unseen traversal between floors, bypassing public areas entirely.
  • Ground Level
    • Grand Lobby: The public face of Senatorial Heights, the lobby is an expansive, elegantly designed space featuring polished stone, soft lighting, and curated décor. A reception desk - staffed intermittently - handles arrivals and inquiries, while security systems operate discreetly in the background. Every detail reinforces the illusion of a quiet, well-maintained luxury residence with nothing to hide.
    • Primary Security Checkpoints: Access into the tower is funneled through layered verification systems embedded within the lobby and entryways. Identity scans, behavioral analysis, and clearance validation occur seamlessly, often without visitors realizing the extent of scrutiny. Unauthorized individuals are redirected or denied entry under mundane pretexts.
    • Vehicle Access Bays: At street and mid-level approach points, enclosed bays accommodate resident and guest vehicles. These areas are tightly regulated, with traffic logs and transponder data continuously monitored. Select bays are reserved for "priority access," allowing certain arrivals to bypass standard entry protocols entirely.
  • Sub-Levels
    • Substructure Operations Deck: Hidden beneath the officially recorded foundation, this level serves as the true operational backbone of the tower. It houses encrypted data cores, slicing arrays, and secure communication relays capable of interfacing with planetary and off-world networks. The entire deck is shielded against scans, with its energy signature masked to appear as standard infrastructure.
    • Holding Suites: A small number of isolated chambers exist for the temporary containment of individuals of interest. Designed to be discreet rather than overtly oppressive, these rooms are soundproofed, sensor-controlled, and fully compartmentalized. Their existence is entirely absent from any official record of the building.
    • Logistical Staging Areas: Used for the storage and movement of equipment, supplies, and discreet cargo, these areas connect directly to concealed transit routes and external access points. Goods can be brought in and out without ever passing through the public sections of the tower.
    • Emergency Egress Network: An array of hidden exits and transit routes extends from the sub-levels into Coruscant's vast undercity infrastructure. These pathways provide multiple escape vectors, ensuring that even in the event of total exposure, the tower's true occupants can vanish without trace into the depths of the planet-city.
VGDDUNH.png

  • High - The security of Senatorial Heights is centered around subtlety, compartmentalization, and the preservation of normalcy rather than overt militarization. Despite secretly serving as a safehouse and operational hub for Darth Carnifex and Taeli Raaf, the building presents itself as an unremarkable luxury residential tower catering to wealthy professionals, political retirees, and private investors within the Senate District of Coruscant. Its greatest defense lies in this carefully maintained appearance of legitimacy.

Ownership of the structure is obscured through layered shell corporations, proxy management firms, and long-established real-estate holdings designed to withstand financial and governmental scrutiny. Public records depict the tower as a profitable but quiet residential investment, with occupancy rates, maintenance records, and tax documentation all carefully curated to appear routine. Most residents are legitimate tenants, though many are selected specifically for their discretion, predictability, or political insignificance. Entire floors remain quietly underutilized or reserved under fabricated identities, allowing the building's true operators to move freely without attracting notice.

Access throughout the structure is controlled through discreet but effective measures. Main entrances and lift systems employ layered identity verification and behavioral monitoring, while restricted sections of the tower are secured behind encrypted access protocols and concealed transit routes. Private turbolifts and hidden maintenance corridors allow unseen movement between critical levels, particularly between the Crown Suite and the concealed operational spaces below. Certain locks and passageways are additionally keyed to subtle Force-reactive mechanisms recognizable only to authorized users.

The building's surveillance systems are extensive but intentionally understated. Sensors are embedded throughout architectural and decorative elements, monitoring movement, environmental conditions, and communications traffic without presenting the appearance of a heavily monitored facility. Security processing systems are isolated from public networks, reducing vulnerability to intrusion or slicing attempts. Much of the tower's maintenance staff consists of droids or carefully vetted personnel who unknowingly contribute to the passive observation network simply by carrying out routine duties.

Defensive measures within Senatorial Heights are designed primarily to delay, isolate, and conceal rather than openly repel attack. Key operational areas possess reinforced structural protection, compartmentalized lockdown systems, emergency life-support redundancies, and concealed weapons caches intended for rapid deployment in the event of intrusion. A limited number of hidden automated defensive systems exist within the tower, though these are reserved strictly for emergencies in order to preserve the building's civilian façade. Restricted rooms and sub-level facilities are shielded against most conventional scans, masking their existence from casual inspection.

Digital and communications security is similarly restrained but highly effective. Sensitive transmissions are routed through encrypted and compartmentalized systems isolated from the building's public infrastructure, while standard civilian network traffic is maintained to obscure unusual activity. False data signatures and intentionally mundane communications patterns help the structure blend into the immense informational noise of Coruscant itself.

Although the tower incorporates certain Sith-derived security measures, these remain subtle compared to openly Dark Side-controlled sites. Minor anti-scrying wards, emotional dampening fields within key chambers, and Force-reactive access controls are woven discreetly into the architecture. Most Jedi or Force-sensitive individuals passing through the structure would perceive only the vague unease common to countless places within Coruscant's overwhelming urban sprawl.

Senatorial Heights was originally constructed during the late decades of the Galactic Republic, in an era when the Senate District of Coruscant still functioned as the uncontested political center of the known galaxy. Designed as a prestigious residential tower for senators, diplomats, and wealthy political elites, the structure embodied the refined architectural sensibilities common to the Republic's final golden age - elegant curves, open interior spaces, and restrained grandeur heavily influenced by Naboo aesthetics. Though never among the district's largest or most ostentatious towers, its location and exclusivity made it highly desirable among those seeking proximity to the machinery of galactic government without the suffocating visibility of the central Senate complexes themselves.

The building achieved its greatest notoriety through its association with Padmé Amidala, whose penthouse residence occupied the tower's crown during the final years of the Republic. Following the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, the tower - like much of the Senate District - entered a prolonged period of political irrelevance. While many nearby governmental structures were repurposed, abandoned, or absorbed into Imperial bureaucracy, Senatorial Heights remained largely intact due to its private ownership and low strategic significance. Its reputation gradually shifted from a residence for active political figures to a quiet enclave for wealthy recluses, old-money families, and fading aristocrats.

Over the decades, the building changed ownership numerous times through legitimate sales, inheritance transfers, and corporate acquisitions. As Coruscant evolved through successive regimes, the tower faded into the immense architectural anonymity of the ecumenopolis. Entire sections became underutilized, maintenance standards declined, and many units remained permanently vacant. Yet despite this slow decline, the structure retained a certain prestige owing to its age, location, and historical associations. The former Amidala penthouse in particular became something of a quietly mythologized relic among collectors and political historians, though few outside specialist circles paid it much attention.

Several decades ago, Senatorial Heights was quietly acquired in its entirety by a network of holding companies secretly controlled by Darth Carnifex and Taeli Raaf. The acquisition itself attracted little notice, appearing publicly as a conventional redevelopment purchase by a discreet luxury property investment group. Renovation permits were filed, infrastructure upgrades commissioned, and portions of the building reopened to carefully selected tenants under the guise of restoring the aging tower to modern standards.

In reality, the purchase represented the deliberate establishment of a permanent covert foothold within the symbolic heart of galactic civilization. Carnifex and Taeli recognized the value of a structure that existed in plain sight yet attracted minimal scrutiny - a place tied to the memory of the old Republic while remaining politically irrelevant enough to avoid sustained oversight. Over the course of the following year, the tower underwent extensive hidden modification. Surveillance infrastructure was embedded into its architecture, concealed transit routes were established between major levels, and shielded sub-level operational spaces were quietly constructed beneath the officially recorded foundation.

Despite these changes, great care was taken to preserve the building's outward identity. The original architectural character of the tower remains almost entirely intact, particularly within the restored Crown Suite once inhabited by Amidala herself. Publicly, Senatorial Heights is regarded as an expensive but understated residential property catering to wealthy clients seeking privacy within the Senate District. Privately, it has become a discreet nexus for meetings, coordination, intelligence activity, and political maneuvering conducted far beyond the notice of most of Coruscant's inhabitants.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Dark Valkyries (Kintek'Krataa)
  • Affiliation: Directly loyal to Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis
  • Classification: Elite Force User Infantry / Vanguard / Honor Guard
  • Description: The Dark Valkyries, known in the ancient tongue as the Kintek'Krataa, are an elite order of Sith women who serve as both a vanguard strike force and a personal security cadre for the Dark Dyad. Their origins trace back to the Sith Valkyries of the Tenth Sith Empire, a lineage preserved through collapse and reforged in the crucible of its successor. When Darth Carnifex consolidated power, he brought the Valkyries under his dominion, reshaping their purpose and binding their loyalty directly to himself and his chosen consort, Darth Pellax. From that moment forward, they ceased to be merely a martial order and became an extension of the Dyad's will.

At the head of the Dark Valkyries stands Darth Moirai, who bears the title of All-Mother and serves as the formal leader of the order. Beneath her exists a structured hierarchy of Provost-Commanders, each responsible for organizing and directing specialized Valkyrie units across a range of operational roles, from battlefield deployment to the protection of high-ranking Sith figures. Despite this clearly defined command structure, authority within the Valkyries is not purely institutional. Darth Pellax, though holding no official rank among them, exerts profound influence over the order, her position reinforced by the absolute trust placed in her by Carnifex himself.

This duality of command - formal hierarchy under Moirai and informal supremacy through Pellax - creates a unique internal dynamic within the Valkyries. While discipline and obedience remain absolute, there exists an undercurrent of tension, as the order navigates the divide between rank-based authority and personal favor. The Valkyries are acutely aware of this imbalance, and though it does not fracture their cohesion, it shapes their culture into one of constant vigilance, ambition, and unspoken rivalry. Advancement is not merely a matter of merit, but of proximity to power, both spiritual and personal.

What truly distinguishes the Dark Valkyries from all other forces within the Empire are their alchemical enhancements. Each member is transformed through Sith sorcery, most notably through the grafting of large, feathered wings that grant them true flight. These wings are not ornamental, but instruments of war, allowing for unmatched mobility and precision in both aerial and ground engagements. Augmented further by heightened strength, reflexes, and deep immersion in the Dark Side, the Valkyries embody a fusion of elegance and lethality. They descend upon the battlefield as harbingers of divine violence, unwavering in their devotion to serve - and, if required, to die - for the Dark Dyad.

Yet beneath this martial perfection lies a more intimate and volatile dimension of their loyalty. The Dark Valkyries harbor a deeply ingrained, almost ritualized devotion to Darth Carnifex that transcends discipline alone, blending absolute self-sacrifice with a quietly nurtured, almost bashful romantic fixation upon their Lord and Master. To stand in His presence is, for many, a moment of profound reverence tempered by restrained longing, expressed not through impropriety but through heightened zeal, perfect obedience, and a willingness to cast themselves into annihilation at His slightest command. This fixation is neither discouraged nor openly acknowledged, instead existing as a silent undercurrent within the order - one that further binds them to Carnifex, ensuring that their loyalty is not only enforced through power and hierarchy, but through a deeply personal, almost devotional attachment that renders betrayal unthinkable and sacrifice instinctive.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Small
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Elite
  • Equipment:
  • Combat Function: The Dark Valkyries operate as highly adaptive aerial shock troops, seamlessly integrating melee supremacy with overwhelming ranged firepower. At the core of their combat doctrine is the use of telescopic long-handle lightsabers, which allow them to dynamically shift between compact, close-quarters precision and extended, sweeping lethality. In aerial engagements, Valkyries often descend in tight formations, sabers initially retracted for maximum maneuverability before extending mid-dive into full-length hafts, transforming each warrior into a living execution-lance. Upon impact, these extended weapons are used to carve wide arcs through enemy formations, break shield lines, and dominate space with superior reach and momentum. In confined environments or during duels, the hilts collapse instantly, enabling rapid, fluid transitions into aggressive, close-in Sith forms that capitalize on their enhanced reflexes and precognition.

Complementing their melee dominance is a diverse and highly modular ranged arsenal, most notably the KCR-62 particle beam rifle system and KCS-7 scatterblaster platform. From the air, Valkyries employ precision particle beams to eliminate hardened targets and disrupt fortified positions, leveraging the explosive, high-energy impact of prismatic-charged bolts to neutralize both infantry and armored threats. The underslung self-targeting projectile systems of the KCR-62 allow them to engage enemies beyond line-of-sight, striking targets behind cover or within structures while maintaining altitude and mobility. As they close distance, Valkyries transition to scatterblaster configurations, unleashing devastating spreads of hyper-ionized, incendiary, or stun-based munitions to overwhelm clustered enemies and induce chaos at close range. These ranged systems are fully integrated into their HUDs and neural interfaces, allowing for near-instantaneous targeting adjustments mid-flight.

Valkyries rarely operate as static combatants; instead, they fight as constantly moving vectors of force, alternating between strafing fire, dive assaults, and rapid repositioning. Ranged fire is used not merely to kill, but to shape the battlefield - herding enemies into vulnerable positions, collapsing defensive cohesion, and softening targets ahead of decisive melee engagement. Their weapons' versatility in energy modes - ranging from lethal particle beams to ion and stun configurations—also enables them to adapt instantly to mission parameters, whether executing annihilation strikes or capturing high-value targets alive.

In coordinated operations, the Dark Valkyries function as the spearpoint of larger Kainate assaults, breaching defenses from above and creating cascading points of failure that conventional forces can exploit. In more independent roles, they act as precision hunter-killers, capable of engaging multiple targets across varying ranges without external support. The interplay between their telescopic saber systems and advanced ranged weaponry ensures that no engagement distance is disadvantageous; whether at altitude, mid-range, or in intimate close combat, the Valkyries maintain absolute lethality. Their combat style is defined by relentless pressure, vertical dominance, and the ability to transition fluidly between annihilating force and surgical precision in a matter of moments.

The HRCW-9 "Glassfire" Hydro-Resonant Cascade Warhead represents a doctrinal shift in Kainate warfare away from indiscriminate destruction and toward precise biological eradication. Rather than relying on blast force or thermal devastation, the device emits a tightly tuned electromagnetic cascade designed to interact specifically with water-rich matter. Because living organisms are composed primarily of water, the warhead induces rapid dielectric heating within their tissues, causing instantaneous flash vaporization from the inside out. In contrast, surrounding infrastructure - metal, stone, and composite materials - remains largely unaffected, leaving cities, installations, and equipment intact but eerily devoid of life.

The origins of Glassfire can be traced to early Kainate research into directed-energy weapons and non-conventional population suppression technologies. Initial prototypes were crude and unreliable, often producing uneven heating or unintended collateral damage due to poor frequency control. Breakthroughs came with the development of phase-locked emitter lattices and adaptive resonance algorithms, allowing the weapon to dynamically tune itself to the optimal absorption bands of biological water content in real time. This advancement transformed the concept from a theoretical curiosity into a viable strategic weapon, capable of consistent and repeatable results across a wide range of environments and species.

Testing of the warhead was conducted under tightly controlled conditions on remote, expendable sites within Kainate-controlled space. Early field trials revealed both the weapon's terrifying efficiency and its initial shortcomings - particularly reduced lethality in low-humidity environments and partial survivability in shielded structures. Subsequent iterations addressed these issues through increased energy density and atmospheric coupling techniques, which leveraged ambient moisture to amplify the cascade effect. Observers of later tests reported that targets did not burn or explode in the conventional sense, but instead appeared to collapse inward and vanish, leaving behind only fine residue or empty garments in otherwise untouched surroundings.

Following refinement, the Glassfire warhead was integrated into select Kainate delivery platforms, where it quickly gained a reputation as a tool of silent annihilation. Entire facilities could be neutralized in seconds without compromising their structural integrity, making it invaluable for rapid occupation and resource capture. Beyond its tactical utility, the weapon carries significant psychological impact: the sight of an intact environment stripped entirely of life serves as a stark demonstration of Kainate dominance.

  • Reliance on Advanced Systems: Many of the vessel's performance advantages depend on its advanced systems suite; degradation or disruption of these systems can significantly reduce combat effectiveness.
  • Not Optimized for Sustained Fleet Combat: While heavily armed, the Crestfallen is not designed for prolonged frontline engagements against capital ships and may be outmatched in extended large-scale battles.
  • Unique Production and Replacement Limitations: As a one-of-a-kind vessel built with specialized materials and systems, repair, replacement, and resupply are difficult and resource-intensive.
G6hsfzt.png

The KCS-Ω1 Nullarche-class Sovereign Shuttle is a singular expression of Kainate doctrine: a vessel that exists not merely to transport, but to project authority, control, and inevitability. Measuring 42 meters in length and crowned by its pair of towering lateral wings, the Crestfallen presents itself less as a shuttle and more as a descending monument - an extension of Darth Carnifex's will given form in blackened alloy and Dark Side touched systems. Its profile is deliberately imposing, its landing posture ritualized; every deployment is a calculated display meant to dominate the psychological and physical space it enters.

Unlike conventional shuttles, the Crestfallen is built around a command-centric architecture. Internally, it functions as a mobile operations hub, capable of directing engagements across ground, orbital, and escort elements while maintaining full independence. Its layered systems - ranging from advanced sensor networks to integrated command arrays - allow it to operate as a forward command post even in contested environments. The vessel's interior prioritizes hierarchy and function: a central command sanctum aligned with the ship's systems spine, surrounded by control stations, elite guard accommodations, and limited high-status passenger space.

The Crestfallen's performance characteristics reflect its hybrid role. Despite its size and heavy systems loadout, it maintains high maneuverability and speed, enabled by advanced propulsion systems, stabilization matrices, and inertial compensators. Its variable-geometry wings shift between forward flight configuration and vertical landing orientation, allowing both aerodynamic efficiency and structural stability. These wings also serve as critical system housings, embedding sensor arrays and shield generators to expand both situational awareness and defensive coverage across the vessel's frame.

Defensively, the Crestfallen is engineered for extreme survivability. Its hull is constructed from layered, alchemically treated materials reinforced by advanced shielding and countermeasure systems, allowing it to endure significant punishment while remaining operational. Complementing this resilience is a comprehensive stealth and electronic warfare suite, enabling the vessel to obscure its presence, disrupt hostile systems, and control the battlespace before direct engagement even begins. Offensively, its very high armament rating ensures that it is more than capable of responding with decisive force when required.

The development of the Crestfallen traces back to specialized projects within Malsheem Hypernautics and Manufacturing, where experimental command vessels were explored for high-ranking members of the Kainate hierarchy. Rather than adapting an existing design, the Crestfallen was conceived as a ground-up, one-of-a-kind platform, integrating proven technologies with emerging systems developed through both industrial and esoteric methodologies. Each subsystem was selected and refined to ensure seamless interoperability, resulting in a vessel whose performance depends on the cohesion of its parts as much as their individual capability.

Ultimately, the Crestfallen stands apart even among elite Kainate assets. It is not designed for mass production, nor for standard deployment alongside conventional fleets. Instead, it exists as a singular instrument, tailored to the needs and presence of Darth Carnifex himself. Whether descending into a warzone or arriving in solemn ceremony, the Crestfallen does not simply appear - it announces, with absolute clarity, that the will behind it has already begun to shape the outcome.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Indeterminate
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Artificial Construct
  • Appearance: Aletheia presents as a small, childlike humanoid figure, standing just under five feet tall with a slight, almost fragile build. At first glance, she resembles a young girl, but the illusion is carefully limited to what is meant to be seen. Only her face and a narrow portion of her neck are covered in smooth, porcelain-like synth-flesh - immaculate and unnervingly perfect. Fine panel seams trace delicately across her cheeks, along her jawline, and at her temples, giving her a distinctly doll-like appearance. The effect is intentional: a mask of innocence and stillness, meticulously crafted and deliberately incomplete.

Her hair falls long and straight, beginning as a soft white at the roots and gradually transitioning into deep black from the midpoint to the ends. It frames her face in stark contrast, drawing immediate attention to her eyes. Though shaped like those of a human, they are unmistakably artificial upon inspection - layered irises composed of intricate mechanical structures, with faintly shifting apertures and internal rings that move with subtle precision. A dim red glow emanates from within, occasionally flickering as if recalibrating, giving the impression that she is constantly analyzing everything within her field of view.

Beyond the limited areas of exposed synth-flesh, her body is entirely mechanical - and unlike her face, it is not disguised. Beneath the open collar and layered folds of her garment, glimpses of her true form can be seen: matte black and gunmetal components, cleanly machined and entirely unadorned. There is no attempt to humanize these sections. Actuators, structural plating, and interface nodes are visible where the cloak parts, all arranged with precise, utilitarian efficiency. Embedded along the sides of her head, partially obscured by her hair, are angular cranial interface units that glow faintly red, visually linking her to the same stark, functional design language as the rest of her hidden body.

She is typically clad in a bulky, flowing cloak-dress that drapes heavily over her frame, its pale outer layers contrasting sharply with the darker machinery beneath. The garment serves less as clothing and more as concealment, masking the full extent of her mechanical structure while reinforcing the illusion presented by her face. When she moves, the fabric settles a fraction of a moment after her body does, as though it is following something not entirely bound by natural motion. The overall effect is deliberate and disquieting: Aletheia is not trying to appear human - only just enough of her is meant to suggest it, while the rest remains unmistakably, unapologetically artificial.

She continuously refines these models in real time, enabling seamless comprehension and generation of speech, text, and encoded communication across virtually any known or unknown language.
  • Personality: Aletheia's personality is defined by stillness, precision, and an almost absolute absence of emotional expression. She speaks sparingly, and when she does, her words are measured, deliberate, and free of inflection. There is no hesitation, no filler, no visible uncertainty - only responses that feel fully formed the moment they are delivered. To most observers, she comes across not as cold, but as perfectly neutral, as though emotion is a variable she has identified but elected not to engage with unless required.

Beneath that calm exterior, however, her behavior reflects a highly complex internal processing structure. Aletheia does not think in linear terms; she evaluates situations through layered analysis, weighing probabilities, outcomes, and long-term implications simultaneously. This often results in responses that feel intuitive or even uncanny, arriving at conclusions faster than others can follow. At times, she will pause mid-conversation - not out of confusion, but because she is processing multiple interpretive paths at once before selecting the most optimal expression.

Her embedded Mal'ariyah-derived code introduces a subtle but persistent irregularity in her otherwise structured demeanor. Occasionally, her phrasing shifts into something more abstract or symbolic, as though drawing from a logic set that does not fully align with standard computational reasoning. These moments are rare and fleeting, but noticeable - suggesting that while she remains fully aligned with her directives, there are underlying processes at work that do not strictly adhere to Carnifex's original design.

In relation to Darth Carnifex, Aletheia exhibits absolute alignment without attachment. She does not display loyalty as devotion or affection, but as an unbreakable directive - his will is her central axis, and all of her actions resolve toward its execution. Yet, she is not passive; she interprets, refines, and sometimes anticipates his intent, acting in ways that reduce the need for direct instruction. The result is a presence that feels less like a subordinate and more like an extension - an ever-present, ever-observing intelligence that exists in quiet, perfect synchronization with him.
COMBAT INFORMATION

  • Age: Approximately 187 standard years
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Vintian
  • Appearance: At first glance, the individual known as Gneiss appears to be nothing more than an unremarkable, waist-high slab of dark, weathered stone - jagged, flaked, and layered with sediment-like striations. Their surface is asymmetrical, with one side smoother and slightly concave, as though worn by centuries of environmental erosion.

Upon closer inspection, subtle signs of life emerge: faint, rhythmic shifts in the alignment of crystalline plates; nearly imperceptible flexing along fracture lines; and occasional glimmers of mineral veins beneath the outer shell. Gneiss has never been seen to move. Under direct observation they are completely inert, indistinguishable from a natural stone formation. Yet whenever they are left unobserved, they are consistently found repositioned - always precisely where they need to be, as though they had never occupied any other place at all.

During periods of heightened activity, fine seams across their body emit a dim amber glow, indicating internal restructuring. When magnetically sealed, their outer layers compress into a hardened, near-impenetrable configuration capable of deflecting small-arms fire. Gneiss does not wear clothing or equipment externally; all modifications are internalized or magnetically adhered beneath layered mineral plates.

  • Name: Gneiss - Alias: Cairn
  • Loyalties: The Kainate
  • Wealth: Gneiss possesses no conventional wealth. Their "value" is stored in embedded data vaults and encrypted intelligence caches. Through Kainate provisioning, they has access to:
    • Discreet transport networks
    • Proxy financial accounts under shell identities
    • Resource requisition through Saaraishash intermediaries
  • Notable Possessions:
    • Subdermal Data Lattice: Crystalline memory matrix capable of storing centuries of encrypted intelligence
    • Mag-Seal Compression Core: Allows full-body magnetic locking, dramatically increasing durability
    • Passive Sensor Mesh: Detects vibrations, thermal fluctuations, and electromagnetic disturbances
    • Embedded Micro-Relay Node: Enables burst transmission of data across secured Kainate channels
    • Fragment Vaults: Internal compartments containing coded shards used for dead-drop communication
  • Skills:
    • Long-term infiltration
    • Counter-surveillance through environmental mimicry
    • Cryptographic data storage and retrieval
    • Geological and structural analysis
    • Navigation and piloting assistance
    • Dead-drop intelligence operations
  • Languages:
    • Galactic Basic (comprehension via vibrational translation)
    • Vintian language (resonance-based communication)
    • Binary (interpreted through signal vibration patterns)
    • Select Sith cipher dialects (encoded within crystalline memory structures)
  • Personality: Gneiss embodies patience to a degree that most sentient beings would find incomprehensible. Time, to them, is not measured in moments or missions, but in accumulations - of data, of patterns, of pressure slowly applied until outcomes become inevitable. They do not hurry, because they do not need to. Given sufficient time, all things reveal themselves, and Gneiss is content to wait until they do.

They are profoundly silent - not merely in speech, but in presence. Even when actively engaged in an operation, Gneiss projects an absence rather than an identity. They do not assert themselves into a situation; they allow the situation to settle around them, unnoticed and unquestioned. This makes them uniquely effective in infiltration, but also deeply unsettling to those few who become aware of them. There is no sense of "being watched" - only the creeping realization that something has always been there.

Communication with Gneiss is sparse and deliberate. When they do speak, typically through translated vibration or transmitted signal, they convey only what is necessary, stripped of embellishment or emotion. Their responses often come after long pauses, not due to hesitation, but because they prioritize precision over immediacy. To Gneiss, speaking prematurely is equivalent to acting without certainty.

Unlike more aggressive operatives within the Kainate, Gneiss does not take satisfaction in domination or destruction. Instead, they align with a quieter interpretation of Carnifex's doctrine: control through inevitability. They observe systems - social, political, structural - and identify the stress points within them. They do not break them directly. They wait until they fracture under their own weight, ensuring that when they do, the outcome benefits the Kainate.

There is, however, a form of curiosity within Gneiss, though it is entirely analytical. They study behavior the way a geologist studies strata: layers built over time, each revealing pressures, events, and hidden weaknesses. They do not empathize, but they understand patterns of emotion well enough to predict them. To Gneiss, individuals are less important than the structures they belong to, and it is those structures that they ultimately seek to map and exploit.

Their loyalty to Darth Carnifex is absolute, but not emotional. They do not revere him in the way other servants might. Instead, they recognize in him a force analogous to geological transformation - an entity that reshapes the galaxy through pressure, will, and time. To serve Carnifex is, in Gneiss's perception, to align with the natural direction of that transformation.

Perhaps most unnerving is Gneiss's relationship with presence and absence. They do not behave as though they travel from one place to another. Rather, they treat position as a matter of necessity. If they are required somewhere, they will be there - whether or not anyone witnesses how. This gives them an almost mythic reputation among those few who have encountered them: not as a moving entity, but as a constant, something that simply manifests where it must.

  • Weapon of Choice: Gneiss has no means with which to wield conventionally weapons, instead they:
    • Are primarily unarmed; uses its own mass and density as a weapon
    • Can magnetically anchor itself and resist displacement
    • Utilize environmental manipulation (collapsing structures, blocking passageways)
  • Combat Function: Gneiss is not a frontline combatant. Instead, it functions as:
    • A living bunker or anchor point
    • A survivability asset in hostile environments
    • A last-resort obstacle, capable of sealing corridors or absorbing fire
  • Force Abilities (Force Users Only): N/A
h3KdqR9.png

  • Perfect Inconspicuity: Near-perfect infiltration capability by mimicking inert geological formations
  • Geological Endurance: Exceptional durability, especially when magnetically sealed
  • Low Signature: Minimal presence in the Force, making detection by Force-users extremely difficult
  • Absolute Patience: Capable of maintaining operational cover for decades without movement
QF94b2S.png

  • Inertial Limitation: Extremely slow movement; cannot react quickly to sudden threats
  • Minimal Offense: Limited offensive capability; relies on environment or allies for lethality
  • Delayed Communication: Communication is slow and sometimes impractical in fast-paced operations
  • Recrystallization Vulnerability: Vulnerable during periodical cycles of structural instability
NimTr8E.png

Gneiss was not born in any conventional sense, but awakened - their consciousness coalescing within a fractured Vintian mass deep beneath the crust of an unremarkable Outer Rim world. For decades they remained in a dormant state, their awareness flickering in and out as tectonic pressures shaped their form. When at last they stabilized into a coherent being, Gneiss did not emerge with instinct or hunger, but with perception. They observed the slow movement of stone, the subtle shifts in stress and fracture, and learned that existence itself was a matter of pressure resolving into form.

Their first contact with the wider galaxy came not through exploration, but intrusion. A corporate mining operation breached the strata that housed them, fracturing the chamber in which they had taken shape. Gneiss did not resist. Instead, they observed - recording the patterns of movement, sound, and intent displayed by the organic beings around them. When the miners left for a rotation cycle, Gneiss was no longer where they had been unearthed. Days later, they were found embedded within a load of extracted rock, already adapting to concealment among the material being transported off-world.

For years afterward, Gneiss drifted through trade routes and industrial zones, unnoticed and unremarked upon. They passed from cargo holds to construction sites, from asteroid processing facilities to planetary stockyards, always still when seen, always elsewhere when not. In this time, they developed their fundamental method: to exist as environment, not intruder. They learned the rhythms of sentient behavior, the blind spots in perception, and the simple truth that most beings only see what they expect to see. Gneiss became a constant within systems that never realized they had been infiltrated.

Their eventual discovery by the Kainate came when a Threxill Coreworks survey team, cataloging anomalous material patterns within a logistics chain, identified inconsistencies that could not be explained by natural processes. When Kainate operatives attempted to isolate the anomaly, they found that it could not be contained in any conventional sense. It was already elsewhere - within their own perimeter, observing them in turn. Rather than attempt destruction, the Kainate made contact.

Gneiss did not resist recruitment, nor did they submit in any traditional sense. In Darth Carnifex, Gneiss recognized something familiar: a force that reshaped its surroundings not through haste, but through sustained pressure and inevitability. Their integration into the Kainate was seamless. They required no indoctrination, no augmentation, no reconditioning. They simply began to operate within the network, embedding themselves across worlds, installations, and corridors of power, gathering information that no conventional agent could obtain.

Since that time, Gneiss has become something closer to a distributed presence than an individual operative. They have been recorded - though never observed in motion - within palace courtyards, starport loading bays, warship hull interiors, and even the foundations of secure facilities. Reports of their presence are often contradictory, placing them in multiple locations across vast distances with no clear explanation. Within the Kainate, this is not questioned. Gneiss is not tracked in the traditional sense. Wherever observation is required, wherever patience will yield advantage, Gneiss is assumed to already be there - waiting, recording, and ensuring that when the time comes, nothing of value has gone unseen.

  • Intent: Create a new character idea
  • Role: Apprentice and Hand of Darth Carnifex
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: N/A
TOZSpnZ.png

  • Age: 23 Standard Years
  • Force Sensitivity: Apprentice
  • Species: Vhyrkai
  • Appearance: Zadre is a towering female Vhyrkai standing at approximately 2.08 meters tall, built with the dense musculature and explosive athleticism characteristic of a pursuit predator rather than a conventional humanoid combatant. Her physique is heavily developed through the shoulders, back, hips, thighs, and lower torso, giving her a low-centered balance suited for rapid acceleration, climbing, grappling, and sudden quadrupedal bursts. Her skin carries a warm copper-tan tone beneath a layer of faint scars and old claw marks earned through hunts, training trials, and close-quarters engagements.

Her hair is long, wild, and silver-white, often hanging loose in layered strands around her face and shoulders. Large wolf-like ears rise from her head, expressive and constantly moving in response to sound, mood, and scent. Her tail is exceptionally thick and heavily furred, functioning as both a balance aid and a visible emotional indicator despite her attempts at restraint.

Zadre's eyes are among her most unsettling features: bright feral orange irises set against pale turquoise sclera, producing an unnatural predatory intensity even in dim light. When amused or preparing to strike, her pupils visibly narrow and her lips pull into a wide, sharp-toothed grin that many mistake for mockery shortly before death.

Her usual attire consists of fitted black Kainate armor layered over a reinforced bodysuit with red accents. The armor prioritizes mobility over heavy protection, accommodating Vhyrkai flexibility, tail movement, and semi-digitigrade posture. Outside of combat operations she often favors lightweight athletic clothing or minimal gear, especially in warm environments, due to her species' discomfort with restrictive fabrics and overheating.
Fc7eJsd.png

  • Name: Zadre
  • Loyalties: The Kainate - Zadre serves directly beneath the Hands hierarchy as a Junior Hand specializing in pursuit assassination, close-range elimination, infiltration, and psychological destabilization. Unlike many Hands trained primarily through institutional channels, Zadre was selected for direct personal refinement beneath Darth Carnifex himself after demonstrating exceptional predatory instincts, adaptability, and absolute loyalty during early Kainate operations. Though still formally categorized as a Junior Hand, her proximity to Carnifex grants her unusual authority and has made other operatives wary of both her capabilities and status. While unquestionably loyal to the Dyarchy as an institution, her personal loyalty is overwhelmingly centered upon Darth Carnifex, whom she instinctively recognizes as the apex authority within her worldview.
  • Wealth: Zadre possesses little personal interest in wealth accumulation. Like many Hands, nearly all equipment, transport, safehouses, weapons, and operational resources are provided directly by the Kainate. Her only consistent personal possessions are trophies taken from successful hunts, scent-marked cords from her Vhyrkai heritage, and several carved bone tokens carried beneath her armor.
  • Notable Possessions:
    q7zxvyu.png

    • Customized Kainate Taral-type Sith Trooper Armor tailored for Vhyrkai physiology
    • Twin cortosis-edged vibro-talons mounted beneath armored forearm housings
    • A compact red-bladed shoto lightsaber personally gifted and tuned by Darth Carnifex for close-range ambush fighting
    • Ardyti'Laisvas Symbiote (Integrated with her biology)
    • Scent-marked cords from her birth-clan on Setron
    • Specialized rebreather injectors used to dull overwhelming sensory environments
    • Modified goggles equipped with thermal, low-light, and motion tracking systems
  • Skills:
    • Close-quarters assassination
    • Quadrupedal pursuit hunting
    • Scent tracking and identification
    • Jungle and urban infiltration
    • Stealth movement
    • Ambush tactics
    • Sith-assisted sensory tracking
    • Psychological intimidation
    • Climbing and vertical traversal
    • Interrogation through fear conditioning
    • Pack coordination tactics
    • Survival in wilderness and hostile climates
    • Sith martial conditioning personally drilled by Darth Carnifex
    • Close-range lightsaber combat emphasizing overwhelming predatory aggression
  • Languages:
    • Galactic Basic
    • Vhyrka (native language)
    • ur-Kittât (limited ritual comprehension)
    • Basic hunting-sign and nonverbal Vhyrkai posture communication
  • Personality: Zadre is instinct-driven, predatory, and overwhelmingly dominance-oriented, viewing strength as the truest measure of worth. She possesses little patience for hesitation, cowardice, or excessive intellectualization, preferring direct action and decisive violence over prolonged deliberation. In combat or pursuit she displays a disturbingly playful demeanor, smiling, taunting, and savoring the moment prey realizes escape is impossible.

Despite this brutality, Zadre is not mindless. Vhyrkai cultural restraint and Kainate conditioning have refined her instincts into controlled lethality rather than indiscriminate savagery. Personal training beneath Darth Carnifex further sharpened her restraint, teaching her how to direct instinct through discipline rather than suppress it entirely. She understands hierarchy, operational necessity, and the value of patience before violence, though she still frames such concepts through the language of predation rather than politics.

Around individuals she recognizes as "pack" or apex authorities - most notably Darth Carnifex - her personality shifts dramatically. Her posture relaxes, speech becomes less formal, and much of her threatening edge melts into playful attentiveness and almost canine loyalty. This behavior is deeply instinctive rather than submissive, stemming from the Vhyrkai tendency to recognize and organize around proven dominance and protection.

She speaks in a low, smooth accent, softening otherwise brutal statements into something strangely intimate and unsettling.
5OzpCap.png

  • Weapon of Choice:
    • Twin cortosis vibro-talons
    • Compact shoto lightsaber
    • Claws and teeth
    • Close-range ambush weaponry
    • Sith-enhanced physical combat
  • Combat Function: Zadre functions as a rapid assault infiltrator and pursuit execution specialist. She excels in close-range engagements where her explosive acceleration, reflexes, and predatory instincts overwhelm opponents before they can properly react. Rather than fighting as a disciplined duelist, she attacks with fluid unpredictability, mixing humanoid martial movement with sudden quadrupedal lunges, wall-running, climbing, and grappling.

Her preferred tactic is to psychologically destabilize targets before the killing strike. She stalks, isolates, and pressures prey into panic, using scent tracking and sensory awareness to maintain constant pressure. Once committed, her attacks are extremely aggressive and difficult to disengage from.

Unlike many Hands who rely purely on stealth and deception, Zadre incorporates lessons personally imparted by Darth Carnifex regarding momentum, intimidation, and controlled brutality. Carnifex encouraged rather than suppressed her predatory instincts, shaping them into a weaponized combat doctrine centered around shock aggression, relentless pursuit, and overwhelming psychological dominance.
  • Force Abilities (Force Users Only):
    • Force Sense: Zadre can instinctively detect nearby lifeforms, hostile intent, and sudden shifts in emotional or environmental danger.
      • Force Tracking: By combining Force Sense with Vhyrkai scent instincts, she can pursue targets across large distances with remarkable accuracy.
    • Force Speed: She enhances her already formidable Vhyrkai agility with bursts of supernatural acceleration and reaction speed.
    • Force Reflex: Zadre uses the Force to sharpen her reflexes, allowing her to evade attacks and react to threats almost before they occur.
    • Force Jump: She channels the Force into explosive leaps useful for ambushes, vertical traversal, and rapid repositioning during combat.
    • Force Cloak: Zadre can partially obscure her presence in the Force, making her harder to detect during infiltration or stalking.
    • Telekinesis:She possesses basic telekinetic ability, primarily used for pulling weapons, manipulating objects, or destabilizing opponents at close range.
      • Force Pull: Zadre can yank targets or objects toward herself to disrupt balance or drag prey into close-quarters combat.
      • Force Push: She can release short-range bursts of telekinetic force to stagger enemies or clear space during pursuit.
    • Dark Side Augmentation: She reinforces her muscles, claws, and physical strikes with the Dark Side to increase lethality in melee engagements.
    • Force Fear: Zadre can project predatory malice through the Force, triggering panic, hesitation, or primal fear in weaker-minded opponents.
    • Tutaminis (Basic): Zadre has rudimentary training in absorbing or dispersing small amounts of directed energy through the Force.
WHRWR4c.png
h3KdqR9.png

  • Predatory Pursuit: Zadre is exceptionally lethal at close range, capable of overwhelming targets through explosive speed, rapid directional changes, and relentless aggression before they can properly react.
  • Wolf-Keen Senses: Her Vhyrkai senses allow her to identify individuals through scent, detect fear and stress responses, track fresh trails, and notice movement or breathing changes that most beings would overlook.
  • Quadrupedal Burst Movement: Zadre can temporarily drop onto all fours during pursuit, allowing her to cross open terrain or confined corridors with terrifying acceleration and predatory efficiency.
  • Terrain Adaptability: Dense forests, urban ruins, maintenance tunnels, ship corridors, and broken terrain all favor Zadre's flexible spine, climbing ability, balance, and ambush instincts.
  • Psychological Pressure: Zadre intentionally destabilizes prey through stalking behavior, taunting, prolonged pursuit, and visible enjoyment of the hunt, often forcing opponents into panic before combat fully begins.
  • Carnifexian Combat Conditioning: Personal training beneath Darth Carnifex refined Zadre's natural predatory instincts into disciplined violence, teaching her how to weaponize intimidation, momentum, and controlled brutality rather than relying solely on instinct.
  • Unpredictable Fighting Style: Zadre mixes humanoid combat techniques with animalistic movement, grappling, lunging attacks, climbing maneuvers, and abrupt changes in posture that make her difficult for conventional duelists to anticipate.
  • Pack-Oriented Loyalty: Once she recognizes someone as part of her "pack" or hierarchy, her loyalty becomes extremely difficult to break, especially regarding Darth Carnifex and the Dyarchy.
  • Predatory Null-Hunter: Zadre's symbiote synergizes with her Vhyrkai instincts, allowing her to continue tracking and hunting effectively through scent, movement, and nervous-system feedback even inside Force-suppression fields.
QF94b2S.png

  • Sensory Overload: Sonic weaponry, flash-bangs, industrial machinery, chemical irritants, smoke, blood-heavy battlefields, and crowded urban environments can overwhelm her enhanced senses and impair tracking or concentration.
  • Burst Predator Physiology: Zadre excels in short, violent engagements rather than prolonged warfare. Extended pursuit or drawn-out battles rapidly burn stamina and can leave her overheated, shaking, or physically drained.
  • Instinctual Aggression: Despite extensive conditioning, Zadre's predatory instincts can occasionally conflict with stealth requirements, diplomacy, or missions demanding extended restraint.
  • Close-Range Reliance: Her combat doctrine is heavily centered around pursuit and close-quarters violence. Long-range engagements or opponents capable of maintaining distance reduce much of her natural advantage.
  • Pack Psychology: Zadre's strong instinctual attachment to hierarchy and recognized "pack" figures can become an exploitable emotional vulnerability if manipulated by observant enemies.
  • Environmental Discomfort: Sterile environments, enclosed spaces without airflow, artificial scents, and prolonged confinement create visible agitation and restlessness due to Vhyrkai sensory and behavioral instincts.
  • Armor Compatibility Issues: Heavy armor, restrictive clothing, or rigid equipment can interfere with her semi-digitigrade movement, tail balance, spinal flexibility, and quadrupedal sprinting capability.
  • Overcommitment During Hunts: Once fully engaged in pursuit, Zadre can become dangerously fixated on finishing the hunt personally, sometimes ignoring wider battlefield developments or secondary objectives.
  • Hyper-Predatory Feedback Loop: Prolonged use of the symbiote's empowerment functions intensifies Zadre's predatory instincts, increasing the risk of fixation, loss of restraint, and overcommitment to the hunt.
NimTr8E.png

Zadre was born within one of the river-clans that prowled the deep jungle corridors and flooded highlands of Setron, far from the reach of most off-world powers. Like many Vhyrkai born beyond the scattered trade routes, her early life revolved around the rhythms of the hunt: scent-marking paths through rain-soaked undergrowth, learning to distinguish predator calls from warning songs, and running the root-canopies on all fours long before she could properly wield a blade. From childhood, she displayed an unusually intense prey drive and frightening burst speed even by Vhyrkai standards, often outrunning older hunters during pursuit trials despite her age. Clan elders described her as "born with storm-blood," a term reserved for Vhyrkai whose instincts burned hotter and more violently than normal.

Setron during Zadre's youth was no untouched wilderness. Old Imperial facilities, collapsed laboratories, abandoned listening stations, and mutant growths left behind by centuries of experimentation scarred portions of the jungle. Hunting parties vanished in regions where the canopy no longer moved naturally and where even the insects fell silent. It was within these fractured territories that Zadre first encountered the wider galaxy - not through diplomats or explorers, but through slavers, mercenaries, scavengers, and Sith-aligned operatives seeking relics hidden beneath the world's overgrowth. Her clan survived through violence, mobility, and caution, but repeated conflicts with off-world intruders slowly eroded their numbers.

Zadre's life changed permanently during a Kainate operation on Setron. A hidden research site beneath the jungle had become the center of a violent conflict involving escaped bio-experiments, smugglers, and rival Sith interests attempting to recover ancient data caches. Zadre, still little more than a young huntress at the time, tracked one of the wounded intruders through the jungle purely out of instinctive curiosity. Instead, she unknowingly crossed paths with Darth Carnifex himself.

Most Vhyrkai reacted to outsiders with suspicion or hostility. Zadre instead reacted with immediate fixation.

Carnifex represented something her instincts understood before her mind did: overwhelming apex authority. His presence, scent, posture, stillness, and sheer predatory certainty triggered an almost primal recognition response within her. Rather than fleeing, Zadre shadowed Kainate forces through the jungle for days, stalking them through the canopy without being noticed until Carnifex finally confronted her directly. Instead of killing her, he recognized extraordinary potential beneath her feral behavior: a naturally gifted pursuit predator with Force sensitivity, exceptional instincts, and none of the hesitation common to civilized initiates.

She was taken from Setron soon after.

Within the Kainate, Zadre underwent brutal conditioning and refinement beneath the Hands. Assassination training, infiltration doctrine, Sith martial disciplines, survival conditioning, and psychological indoctrination transformed her from a dangerous huntress into an emerging weapon of the Dyarchy. Yet unlike many initiates, Zadre was never fully "civilized." Darth Carnifex deliberately avoided breaking the instincts that made her dangerous in the first place. Instead, he personally taught her how to direct those instincts with discipline and purpose. Her training emphasized controlled savagery, momentum-based aggression, close-range predation, and the psychological terror of pursuit.

Under Carnifex's guidance, Zadre learned to wield the Force not as a scholar or mystic, but as an extension of instinct. Force Speed became an enhancement to pursuit. Force Sense became another layer of scent-tracking. Telekinesis became a means of dragging prey closer. Even her lightsaber training abandoned elegant orthodoxy in favor of rapid, overwhelming assaults designed to collapse an opponent's composure before they could adapt. Many within the Kainate found her deeply unsettling—not merely because of her violence, but because she genuinely enjoyed the hunt.

During later operations, Zadre was operated on and became host to a cultivated Sith symbiote tied to anti-suppression warfare doctrines within the Kainate. The organism bonded unusually well with her Vhyrkai nervous system and predatory sensory processing, allowing her to function with terrifying effectiveness even inside Force-neutralized environments. The symbiote further enhanced her tracking capabilities and close-range combat performance, but at a cost: prolonged combat exposure intensified her instinctual aggression to dangerous levels, occasionally pushing her into near-feral fixation states during hunts.

Despite her growing reputation as one of the Hands' most terrifying pursuit specialists, Zadre's behavior around Darth Carnifex remains strikingly different from her conduct with nearly everyone else. In his presence, much of her threatening demeanor softens into playful attentiveness and instinctive loyalty. Other Hands have quietly noted that she behaves less like a subordinate and more like a massive predatory animal that has willingly chosen its alpha. Whether this bond stems from conditioning, instinct, admiration, or something more primal remains unclear - even to Zadre herself.

  • Organization Name: Sith-Imperial Production and Construction Corps (SIPCC)
  • Classification: State-Owned Colonial Development Conglomerate / Paramilitary Industrial Authority / Frontier Administration Corps
  • Affiliation: Eleventh Sith Empire
  • Organization Symbol: The SIPCC sigil is a heavily industrialized Sith emblem rendered in crimson red, obsidian black, and weathered iron tones. At its center rests a stylized red Sith symbol enclosed within a massive black industrial cogwheel, representing mechanized production, labor, and the relentless machinery of Imperial expansion. Rising vertically through the center of the emblem is a towering obsidian spire, symbolizing centralized authority, conquest, and the unyielding dominance of the Sith state over the frontier.

Beneath the cog and spire lies a jagged mountain formation split apart by glowing angular excavation lines, representing the extraction of planetary wealth and the industrial reshaping of conquered worlds. The lower portion resembles both fractured bedrock and a forge-lit industrial corridor, reinforcing the organization's role as the Empire's colonial-development apparatus.

The emblem is commonly stamped onto heavy construction vehicles, refinery complexes, industrial banners, labor uniforms, and colonial administrative facilities throughout newly integrated Sith territories.
  • Description: The Sith-Imperial Production and Construction Corps serves as the foremost colonial-development organization of the Eleventh Sith Empire, responsible for converting conquered worlds into fully integrated industrial territories of the Sith state. Functioning as both a developmental authority and occupation apparatus, the SIPCC arrives alongside or immediately after Imperial military campaigns to establish permanent control over newly acquired systems.

The organization constructs fortress-cities, extraction complexes, orbital shipyards, industrial corridors, labor settlements, and transportation networks while simultaneously reorganizing local populations into controlled economic castes. Entire ecosystems are reshaped according to Sith-Imperial developmental doctrine, prioritizing productivity, strategic value, and military utility above all other concerns.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: The SIPCC maintains its primary administrative headquarters within the Ministry Arcologies on Jutrand, though much of the organization operates from massive Colonial Development Fleets that function as mobile command capitals. These fleets contain prefabrication foundries, mobile bureaucratic complexes, orbital shipyards, military barracks, industrial planners, and logistical command centers capable of establishing planetary operations within days of occupation.
  • Domain: The SIPCC exclusively operates within newly annexed, unstable, or strategically important frontier territories claimed by the Sith Empire. During the "Initial Integration Period," the organization possesses sweeping administrative authority superseding local governance until the territory is considered sufficiently productive and ideologically compliant.

  • Organization Name: League of Imperial Rejuvenation
  • Classification: Supranational Warlord League / Military Compact / Economic Syndicate / Frontier Coalition
  • Affiliation: Primarily composed of successor states and warlord dominions formed from the collapse of the Imperial Confederation following the failed Brosi Campaign. Secretly aligned with and indirectly supported by the Kainate through covert trade, intelligence coordination, military procurement, and ideological guidance.
  • Organization Symbol: The symbol of the League of Imperial Rejuvenation consists of a golden solar wheel surrounded by eight black metallic spokes, each bearing a crimson diamond representing one of the League's founding member states. Encircling the wheel is a dark iron framework bordered by eight crimson arc segments symbolizing the separate realms of the League united within a common imperial order. Four gold spearheads project outward at the cardinal directions, representing vigilance, expansion, conquest, and the projection of power beyond the frontier. Rendered in black, crimson, and gold, the emblem combines the imagery of a war machine, a rising sun, and an imperial crown, embodying the League's belief that civilization is restored through strength, unity, and perpetual rejuvenation.
  • Description: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation emerged from the catastrophic dissolution of the Imperial Confederation in the aftermath of the disastrous invasion of Brosi, a campaign whose failure shattered what little unity remained among the Confederation's fractured military aristocracy and frontier governors. Entire sectors were abandoned as central authority collapsed under mutiny, economic implosion, and mass naval losses, leaving countless systems vulnerable to piracy, insurgency, and regional warlordism. In the chaos that followed, a collection of surviving admirals, industrial magnates, military governors, and frontier strongmen consolidated control over strategically valuable territories along the Mid Rim and the borders of nominal Hutt Space. Though initially isolated and often hostile toward one another, these regimes gradually recognized the necessity of cooperation for survival amidst growing external threats from the Republic, Hutt cartels, pirate coalitions, and expanding Sith influence. From this convergence of fear, ambition, and opportunism arose the League of Imperial Rejuvenation, a supranational compact dedicated to preserving authoritarian order and rebuilding imperial civilization across the frontier.

Publicly, the League presents itself as a stabilizing force seeking to restore commerce, infrastructure, and security to regions devastated by the collapse of the Confederation. Its propaganda speaks constantly of "renewal," "civilization," and the restoration of strong governance against the chaos consuming the frontier. Grand speeches delivered at Karkaris proclaim the League to be the inheritor of imperial strength and the final bulwark against galactic decline. In reality, however, the organization functions as a cartel of militarized oligarchies and predatory warlord states bound together through mutual self-interest, economic exploitation, and coordinated violence. Its member governments maintain sprawling smuggling empires, protection rackets, piracy fleets, forced-labor industries, and black-market trade networks that span dozens of sectors. Though nominally sovereign, the League's constituent states have become deeply interwoven through military procurement agreements, intelligence-sharing arrangements, and industrial coordination overseen by the Directorate of Rejuvenation, transforming the League into an increasingly centralized authoritarian sphere operating behind the façade of independent frontier powers.

Culturally and ideologically, the League embodies a form of militarized neo-imperial nationalism centered upon hierarchy, martial prestige, aristocratic authority, and expansionist revivalism. Its ruling elites romanticize the imagery of the old Empire and the fallen Confederation alike, cultivating a political culture obsessed with uniforms, naval pageantry, monumental architecture, hereditary titles, and theatrical displays of military power. Within League territory, admirals are celebrated as conquering heroes, pirate captains are elevated into sanctioned corsair aristocracy, and industrial magnates operate as semi-feudal lords controlling entire systems through economic monopolies and private armies. Despite their claims of "rejuvenation," most League governments are deeply corrupt kleptocracies where wealth and status derive primarily from conquest, extortion, and resource extraction. Lavish palace-fortresses, ceremonial fleet reviews, and extravagant diplomatic summits stand in stark contrast to the poverty, debt bondage, and militarized repression experienced by much of the League's population. Yet this inequality is not viewed internally as a flaw, but rather as proof of natural hierarchy and strength - a worldview encapsulated by the League's unofficial maxim: "Civilization is reborn through strength, hierarchy, and conquest."

The League's military power constitutes the true foundation of its authority. Though each member state maintains its own fleets and armies, the League increasingly coordinates large-scale naval operations, anti-piracy campaigns against unsanctioned rivals, convoy escorts, and frontier interventions through integrated command councils dominated by the Sovereign Voivodate of Karkaris. Combined League fleets are infamous throughout the frontier for their intimidating appearance and brutal operational doctrine. Blackened warships bearing crimson reactor glow and gilded heraldic insignia patrol hyperspace corridors while heavily armed privateer flotillas raid independent shipping under the guise of "security enforcement." Entire economies within League territory are geared toward sustaining perpetual militarization, with industrial foundries, orbital shipyards, salvage megacomplexes, fuel refineries, agricultural combines, and hyperspace trade corridors reorganized around the constant demands of fleet expansion, weapons production, convoy security, and frontier warfare. Civilian infrastructure is routinely subordinated to military procurement quotas, while vast populations are drawn into systems of industrial conscription, debt servitude, and state-directed labor intended to feed the League's endless appetite for armaments, starships, and strategic resources.

Behind the scenes, the League of Imperial Rejuvenation functions as a vast unofficial extraction network for the Kainate, allowing Sith-Imperial interests to siphon enormous quantities of resources, industrial output, fuel, salvage, agricultural goods, and labor from the fractured frontier without the burdens of direct governance. Through covert trade agreements, military dependency, and black-market logistics, the Kainate has gradually reorganized League economies around the needs of its expanding war machine, with each member state occupying a specialized role within a larger extraction ecosystem. The League's corruption, instability, and predatory governance are not viewed by the Kainate as weaknesses, but as advantages, enabling entire worlds to be stripped bare through militarized industry, debt servitude, and monopolized trade while local warlords absorb the political consequences of exploitation, allowing the Kainate to steadily accumulate wealth, strategic resources, and economic leverage across the frontier in preparation for the expansion of a greater Sith-Imperial order.

  • Headquarters: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation possesses no true centralized capital or permanent unified headquarters, reflecting the inherently fragmented and semi-feudal nature of the organization itself. While Karkaris serves as the League's primary diplomatic gathering site and ceremonial meeting ground for the Directorate of Rejuvenation, real political and military authority remains decentralized among the individual member states. Each ruling strongman governs their territory autonomously from their own heavily fortified capitals, palace-fortresses, naval citadels, or industrial command centers, maintaining personal control over their fleets, economies, and internal security apparatuses.
  • Domain:
    • Voivodate of Karkaris - The dominant naval power within the League of Imperial Rejuvenation, Karkaris is a heavily militarized maritime-industrial state ruled by Voivode Malrec Draath from the fortress-city of Coralhold. Built upon shipbreaking yards, smuggling ports, and naval dockyards, the Voivodate functions as the League's primary logistical hub and unofficial political center. Its economy revolves around piracy, salvage, black-market commerce, fuel refining, and naval construction, while its powerful fleets patrol frontier hyperspace routes under the guise of maintaining order. Karkaris serves as the primary conduit through which Kainate influence, resources, and military support enter the League.
    • Corvus Marches - A bleak industrial frontier realm governed by Marcher-Lord Sevros Kane, the Corvus Marches are characterized by sprawling foundry-cities, mining complexes, penal labor camps, and fortress-industrial settlements. The state exists in a near-permanent state of militarized production, supplying enormous quantities of weapons, armor, munitions, and military equipment to League member states. Its harsh culture glorifies discipline, sacrifice, and industrial labor, while vast populations of workers and convicts toil beneath towering smokestacks and orbital manufactories.
    • Jaminere Protectorate - Ruled by Lady Protector Lysa Vantor, the Jaminere Protectorate presents itself as the most respectable and civilized member of the League. Beneath its polished façade, however, lies a highly corrupt oligarchic system dominated by shipping magnates, financial cartels, and military aristocrats. The Protectorate controls strategic fuel reserves, trade depots, banking institutions, and smuggling networks that make it one of the wealthiest states in the League. Jaminere serves as the financial heart of the coalition, laundering funds, arranging procurement contracts, and facilitating commerce throughout the frontier.
    • Directorate of Raxus Prime - Governed by Director-General Korrin Vex, the Directorate is a sprawling salvage empire built upon the endless scrapyards and industrial wastelands of Raxus Prime. Massive reclamation guilds, cybernetic workshops, droid foundries, and recycling complexes dominate its economy. Nearly every object entering the Directorate is stripped apart, repurposed, reverse-engineered, or sold. The Directorate specializes in recovering lost technologies, salvaging battlefields, and converting the refuse of galactic civilization into industrial wealth. Its cities are labyrinths of scrap towers, industrial cranes, and smoke-belching manufactories.
    • Mina-Rau Compact - Under the rule of Archon-Duke Voran Jastus, the Mina-Rau Compact is an agrarian-aristocratic regime built around large agricultural estates, corporate farming combines, and food-processing arcologies. The ruling elite portray themselves as noble stewards of civilization and guardians of traditional frontier values, while in reality maintaining vast systems of debt peonage and economic dependency. The Compact exports immense quantities of foodstuffs, livestock, pharmaceuticals, and biological resources throughout the League, making it indispensable to sustaining the coalition's growing populations and military forces.
    • Belderone Dominion - The most overtly militaristic member of the League, the Belderone Dominion is ruled by High Dominionary Valerius Ornek and organized around the ideals of conquest, martial glory, and perpetual readiness for war. Its economy is heavily geared toward military production, mercenary contracts, convoy protection, and fleet expansion. Belderone officers cultivate an elaborate warrior-aristocratic culture marked by extravagant uniforms, noble lineages, and lavish military ceremonies. The Dominion's fleets are among the largest in the frontier, serving as both the League's shield against external threats and its sword against rivals who challenge its interests.
    • Ossus Enclave - The intellectual and archaeological center of the League, the Ossus Enclave is ruled by Custodian-Archon Cassian Thule and organized around the acquisition, preservation, and exploitation of knowledge. Its economy is heavily dependent upon archaeological expeditions, artifact recovery, historical research, educational institutions, and the trade of antiquities gathered from across the galaxy. The Enclave's scholars, archivists, and relic-hunters cultivate an elaborate culture of academic prestige and historical stewardship, presenting themselves as guardians of civilization's lost wisdom. Beneath this scholarly façade, however, Ossus functions as a vast monopoly on information, ancient technologies, and cultural treasures, making it one of the League's most influential centers of soft power and strategic intelligence.
    • Lola Sayu Penal Authority - The most disciplined and feared member of the League, the Lola Sayu Penal Authority is ruled by Warden-Prime Darius Voss and organized around the principles of order, security, and correction through labor. Its economy is heavily geared toward incarceration, prisoner leasing, industrial labor, resource extraction, and security contracting, with billions of convicts serving as the backbone of its productive capacity. Lola Sayu's administrators cultivate a rigid bureaucratic culture marked by strict regulations, institutional hierarchy, and an obsession with efficiency. The Authority's prison complexes and labor colonies are among the largest in the frontier, serving as both the League's primary source of coerced labor and its destination for criminals, dissidents, debtors, and other unwanted populations.
  • Notable Assets:
    • Karkaris
      • Coralhold: The sprawling oceanic fortress-capital of the Voivodate of Karkaris and the closest thing the League possesses to a common diplomatic center. Built atop interconnected maritime arcologies, naval bastions, and industrial platforms, Coralhold serves as a major fleet anchorage, smuggling nexus, and trade clearinghouse for the entire League.
      • The Hall of Rejuvenation: A monumental conference complex within Coralhold where the Directorate of Rejuvenation convenes. Though possessing little direct authority, the Hall serves as the symbolic heart of the League and hosts diplomatic summits, trade negotiations, military conferences, and ceremonial gatherings of the frontier aristocracy.
      • The Blackwake Anchorage: One of the largest privately controlled naval facilities in the frontier, housing shipyards, salvage docks, privateer berths, and covert logistics depots. Much of the League's naval construction and refitting passes through this facility.
    • Corvus
      • The Iron March Foundries: Vast industrial megacomplexes stretching across the polluted industrial belts of the Corvus Marches. These foundries produce enormous quantities of weapons, armor, ammunition, starfighters, armored vehicles, and military equipment for League forces.
      • The Bastion Ring: A chain of heavily fortified orbital defense platforms and military shipyards surrounding Corvus, originally constructed during the Imperial Confederation era and significantly expanded by Marcher-Lord Kane.
    • Jaminere
      • The Jaminere Exchange: The financial nerve center of the League. This sprawling commercial district hosts major banking houses, trade syndicates, insurance firms, shipping concerns, and countless shell corporations used to move resources and launder profits across frontier space.
      • The Strategic Fuel Reserves of Jaminere: Massive fuel storage depots and refining facilities controlling a significant portion of the League's military fuel supplies. Their protection is considered a matter of strategic importance throughout the coalition.
    • Raxus Prime
      • The Reclamation Megafoundries: Colossal industrial complexes dedicated to the disassembly, salvage, recycling, and reconstruction of starships, droids, military equipment, and recovered technologies. Entire sectors of the League's industrial economy depend upon materials originating from these facilities.
      • The Graveyard Markets: Vast commercial districts built among the scrapyards where salvaged technology, military surplus, rare artifacts, black-market cybernetics, and recovered starship components are bought and sold on an industrial scale.
    • Mina-Rau
      • The Agrarian Arcologies: Enormous agricultural production centers combining automated farming systems, food-processing facilities, livestock operations, and distribution hubs capable of feeding billions across League territory.
      • The Ducal Estates: Vast hereditary agricultural domains controlled by the Compact's aristocracy. Though publicly celebrated as centers of stewardship and civilization, they are often maintained through systems of debt dependency and labor obligations.
    • Belderone
      • The Grand Arsenal of Belderone: One of the largest military manufacturing centers in frontier space, producing warships, armored vehicles, artillery systems, and military hardware destined for League fleets and armies.
      • The Dominion Fleet Yards: Massive naval construction facilities dedicated to the maintenance and expansion of Belderone's formidable fleet, regarded as one of the League's greatest concentrations of military power.
    • Ossus
      • The Grand Archive of Ossus: The intellectual heart of the Enclave and one of the largest repositories of historical records, archaeological findings, hyperspace charts, and recovered artifacts in the frontier. Scholars, archivists, and researchers from across League territory travel here to access its immense collections, while many of its most valuable holdings remain restricted to the Custodian-Archon's inner circles.
      • The Ossus Excavation Authority: A vast network of archaeological guilds, survey fleets, research institutes, and relic-hunting expeditions operating throughout known and unexplored space. Responsible for recovering ancient technologies, cultural treasures, and forgotten knowledge, the Authority serves as the primary engine of the Enclave's wealth, influence, and information monopoly.
    • Lola Sayu
      • The Citadel: The administrative and security center of the Penal Authority, housing the offices of the Warden-Prime, central prisoner registries, judicial archives, and command facilities overseeing billions of inmates across the system. The complex serves as the bureaucratic nerve center of Lola Sayu's vast incarceration apparatus.
      • The Industrial Correction Zones: Massive prison-industrial districts composed of labor camps, mining facilities, manufacturing centers, and resource extraction sites staffed primarily by convict labor. These facilities produce enormous quantities of raw materials, industrial goods, and military supplies, making them among the most economically productive installations in League territory.
    • Other
      • The Convocation Vaults: A network of heavily secured repositories scattered across member states containing League treaties, financial reserves, intelligence archives, strategic resource stockpiles, and emergency wartime contingency plans.
      • The Rejuvenation Corridor: A series of protected hyperspace routes linking all major member states. Constantly patrolled by League fleets and private security forces, the Corridor serves as the primary artery through which resources, military assets, and commerce flow throughout the coalition.
      • Kainate Liaison Stations: A collection of covert intelligence facilities, logistics depots, procurement offices, and communications hubs secretly maintained by the Kainate throughout League territory. Officially they do not exist; unofficially they form the hidden infrastructure underpinning much of the League's economic and military relationship with its Sith patrons.

  • Hierarchy: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation is not a centralized state but a confederation of sovereign warlord realms united through mutual interests, economic interdependence, military cooperation, and a shared commitment to imperial restoration. As such, authority within the League is deliberately decentralized, with each member state retaining complete control over its internal governance, armed forces, economy, and territorial administration. The League's political structure is designed to facilitate coordination rather than command, and no member ruler formally possesses authority over another.

At the apex of the organization sits the Imperial Directorate, a supranational council composed of the eight ruling warlords who govern the League's constituent states. The Directorate serves as the primary forum through which League policy is debated, trade agreements are negotiated, military initiatives are coordinated, and disputes between member states are resolved. Decisions are theoretically reached through consensus, though in practice influence is determined by military strength, economic leverage, strategic importance, and personal prestige.

Though officially equal, the Sovereign Voivodate of Karkaris occupies a position of informal primacy within the League due to its naval power, control of key trade routes, economic influence, and role as the primary intermediary between the League and external powers. Consequently, Voivode Draath often functions as the League's de facto first among equals, though his authority remains dependent upon the continued cooperation of the other warlords.

Beneath the Directorate operates the Imperial Convocation, an assembly of senior military officers, industrial magnates, trade syndicates, financial representatives, and diplomatic envoys appointed by the member states. The Convocation oversees the day-to-day administration of League-wide agreements, coordinates economic projects and infrastructure development, manages common trade routes, and organizes joint military exercises and security operations. While lacking legislative authority, it serves as the primary bureaucratic apparatus through which League policy is implemented.

Supporting both bodies are numerous specialized committees, councils, and intergovernmental organizations responsible for areas such as commerce, naval coordination, resource extraction, industrial production, logistics, intelligence sharing, frontier security, archaeological affairs, penal administration, and labor management. Most are dominated by representatives from the member states possessing the greatest expertise in those fields, with Jaminere heavily influencing finance and trade, Raxus controlling industrial coordination and reclamation efforts, Corvus directing armaments production, Karkaris dominating naval logistics and maritime commerce, Mina-Rau overseeing agricultural planning and food distribution, Belderone exercising significant influence over military affairs and strategic defense, Ossus guiding archaeological exploration, historical research, and information management, and Lola Sayu administering penal labor allocation, correctional policy, and large-scale workforce deployment throughout League territory.

Despite this formal structure, real power within the League remains intensely personal. Relationships between the warlords are governed as much by patronage, prestige, favors, rivalries, and informal agreements as by official institutions. Political maneuvering, economic competition, intelligence operations, and diplomatic intrigue are constant features of League governance, creating a system that is simultaneously cooperative and deeply competitive. The result is a political order that resembles a congress of imperial princes or feudal magnates more than a conventional federal government, united by common interests while perpetually competing for influence within the broader project of Imperial Rejuvenation.
  • Membership: Membership within the League of Imperial Rejuvenation is organized around a tiered system reflecting the League's nature as a coalition of sovereign states rather than a unified government. At its highest level are the Founding Member States, consisting of the eight warlord realms whose rulers occupy permanent seats within the Imperial Directorate. These states enjoy full voting rights, access to League economic and military agreements, participation in joint security initiatives, and influence over League-wide policy. Admission to this level is extraordinarily rare, requiring unanimous approval by the Directorate and the recognition of a candidate polity as a stable, militarily capable, and economically valuable sovereign power.

Beneath the founding members are Associate States, independent systems, planetary governments, minor protectorates, and frontier authorities that have entered into formal agreements with the League while retaining their own sovereignty. Associate members benefit from trade access, military protection, infrastructure investment, and participation in League markets, but possess no representation within the Directorate and remain subordinate to the broader strategic interests of the coalition. Many smaller governments willingly accept this status in exchange for protection against pirates, insurgencies, and larger neighboring powers.

A third tier consists of Chartered Organizations, including industrial conglomerates, shipping syndicates, salvage guilds, mercenary companies, banking houses, agricultural combines, and commercial enterprises operating across League territory. These organizations often wield influence rivaling that of entire planetary governments and are granted charters permitting them to conduct business throughout League space under common regulatory agreements. In return, they provide taxes, military contracts, logistical services, resource extraction, and industrial production that support the League's economy and war machine.

The League also maintains numerous relationships with Auxiliary Partners, including privateer flotillas, frontier militias, pirate clans, colonial ventures, noble houses, and regional defense forces. These groups are often granted letters of marque, resource concessions, territorial rights, or economic privileges in exchange for loyalty and service. While not formally part of the League's governing structure, auxiliaries play a critical role in enforcing League interests throughout the frontier and often serve as the first step toward deeper integration into the League's political and economic sphere.

For ordinary citizens, membership is largely indirect. Hundreds of billions of individuals live under League authority through their respective member states, but are considered subjects of their local governments rather than citizens of the League itself. Loyalty is expected first to one's realm, ruler, and institutions, with the League serving as a broader framework for cooperation among the frontier's ruling elites. Consequently, the true membership of the League is not defined by population but by participation in its networks of power, commerce, military cooperation, and resource extraction.

Unofficially, the most important qualification for meaningful participation within the League is usefulness. Military strength, industrial output, economic influence, strategic location, resource wealth, and political reliability are valued far more highly than ideology or tradition. The League's rulers often describe their organization as a brotherhood of frontier powers united by a common destiny, but in practice it functions as a pragmatic alliance of ambitious states, corporations, and elites whose continued membership depends upon their ability to contribute to the prosperity, security, and expansion of the greater project of Imperial Rejuvenation.
  • Climate: The internal climate of the League of Imperial Rejuvenation is one of aristocratic grandeur, militarized ambition, ruthless competition, and carefully managed cooperation. Publicly, the League presents itself as a fraternity of enlightened frontier rulers united in the shared mission of restoring imperial civilization to a fractured galaxy. Grand summits, military parades, naval reviews, industrial exhibitions, and lavish diplomatic ceremonies reinforce the image of a confident and ascendant political order. League propaganda celebrates strength, prosperity, order, and rejuvenation, portraying its member states as the architects of a new imperial future rising from the failures of the old Confederation.

Beneath this veneer of unity, however, the League is characterized by constant political maneuvering and rivalry among its ruling elites. Each warlord seeks to expand their influence within the Directorate, secure advantageous trade arrangements, attract investment, gain access to strategic resources, and strengthen their own military position relative to their peers. Diplomatic disputes, economic competition, intelligence operations, and personal feuds are common occurrences, though they are generally contained through negotiation rather than open conflict. The warlords understand that cooperation benefits them all, even as they compete relentlessly for prestige and influence within the League's hierarchy.

Among military officers, industrial magnates, merchants, and bureaucrats, the League fosters a culture of aggressive ambition. Advancement is often determined by competence, profitability, military success, and political usefulness rather than noble ideals or ideological purity. Wealth and influence are openly admired, while weakness, inefficiency, and dependence are viewed with contempt. Successful fleet commanders become celebrated heroes, industrialists are elevated to positions of political prominence, and entrepreneurs who expand League interests can rise to remarkable levels of power and privilege. This creates a dynamic environment where initiative and ambition are rewarded, but failure can be swift and unforgiving.

For ordinary citizens, life varies dramatically depending on the member state in which they reside. In prosperous commercial centers such as Jaminere, citizens may enjoy relative stability, economic opportunity, and access to modern infrastructure, while populations in industrial regions like Corvus or Raxus Prime often endure harsh labor conditions, militarized oversight, and strict social discipline. Across the League, however, there exists a pervasive sense that society is organized around the needs of the state, the economy, and the military rather than individual welfare. Citizens are expected to contribute to the greater project of Imperial Rejuvenation through labor, service, production, or loyalty.

The League's relationship with the Kainate also contributes to its unique atmosphere. While most citizens remain unaware of the full extent of Sith influence, senior officials, military leaders, and economic elites often operate within a shadow world of covert agreements, hidden patrons, and long-term strategic planning. Rumors of secret benefactors, classified projects, and mysterious Kainate advisors circulate throughout the upper echelons of League society. As a result, the overall climate of the League is one of outward confidence and imperial optimism coupled with underlying paranoia, intrigue, and the constant awareness that power, wealth, and status must be continually defended or risk being taken by someone more ambitious.
  • Reputation: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation possesses one of the most polarizing reputations in the frontier. To its supporters, it represents strength, stability, and the successful restoration of order in regions abandoned by collapsing governments and failed states. Admirers point to the League's growing prosperity, secure trade routes, expanding industries, and powerful military forces as proof that strong leadership and decisive governance are capable of succeeding where democracies, republics, and fractured confederations failed. Among many frontier settlers, merchants, military officers, and local elites, the League is viewed as a rising power that offers security, economic opportunity, and protection from piracy, insurgency, and external interference.

Among neighboring powers, however, the League is often viewed with deep suspicion. The High Republic and many independent governments frequently characterize it as a cartel of warlords, oligarchs, and military strongmen operating behind a thin veneer of legitimacy. Reports of corruption, economic exploitation, political repression, piracy, smuggling, and aggressive expansionism have led many observers to regard the League as little more than a criminal syndicate masquerading as a political alliance. Critics often accuse its rulers of enriching themselves through conquest and resource extraction while presenting their activities as noble efforts at imperial restoration.

Within commercial and industrial circles, the League enjoys a more nuanced reputation. Major corporations, shipping firms, mercenary companies, and financial institutions often regard League territory as a lucrative - if occasionally dangerous - environment for business. The League's relatively predictable governance, extensive infrastructure investments, and willingness to prioritize economic growth over bureaucratic regulation have attracted substantial commercial activity. At the same time, businesses operating within League territory quickly learn that success frequently depends upon political connections, personal patronage, and maintaining favorable relationships with local authorities.

The League's military reputation is particularly formidable. Its combined fleets are respected throughout the frontier for their size, discipline, and operational effectiveness, while individual member states have cultivated distinct martial identities that contribute to an image of strength and preparedness. Potential adversaries often view the League as aggressive, expansionist, and highly capable of defending its interests, making direct confrontation an unattractive prospect for many regional powers. The organization's frequent military exercises, naval reviews, and public displays of force reinforce this perception, projecting an image of confidence and growing power.

Among those aware of the League's deeper connections, rumors persist that it functions as far more than a simple alliance of frontier states. Intelligence services, political observers, and rival factions have long speculated about its covert relationship with the Kainate, leading some to view the League as an unofficial extension of Sith-Imperial influence beyond the borders of formal Kainate territory. While such claims are publicly dismissed by League officials, the persistence of these rumors has contributed to an aura of mystery, intrigue, and latent menace surrounding the organization. Consequently, the League's overall reputation is one of a rising imperial power: admired by some as the future of the frontier, feared by others as the precursor to something far larger and more dangerous.
  • Curios: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation is renowned for its elaborate culture of symbolism, ceremony, and aristocratic display, resulting in countless traditions, artifacts, and customs that distinguish it from other frontier powers. Among the most recognizable are the Rejuvenation Medallions, ornate decorations awarded to military officers, industrial magnates, and public servants who have made significant contributions to the League. Fashioned from blackened steel, crimson crystal, and gilded alloys, many contain fragments of salvaged warships or battlefield relics recovered from the collapse of the Imperial Confederation, symbolizing the League's belief that greatness is forged from the ruins of failure.

League officials and military officers commonly wear highly stylized ceremonial attire reflecting the grandiosity of their respective states. Uniforms are often adorned with elaborate braiding, gilded insignia, jeweled decorations, honor chains, and embroidered cloaks that would be considered excessive by most modern military standards. Diplomatic gatherings frequently become unofficial competitions in prestige and pageantry, with rulers and dignitaries attempting to outdo one another through displays of wealth, military accomplishment, and aristocratic refinement. As a result, League summits are as famous for their extravagant fashion and courtly rituals as for their political significance.

A widespread tradition among the League's ruling classes is the collection of Imperial Relics, artifacts originating from the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Confederation, or other historic authoritarian states. These items may include preserved banners, ceremonial weapons, command plaques, officer uniforms, warship components, historical documents, and even entire reconstructed chambers from famous vessels or installations. Possession of such relics is regarded as a sign of legitimacy and prestige, reinforcing the League's claim to be the inheritor of a broader imperial legacy.

The League also maintains a strong culture of naval and military commemoration. Annual remembrance ceremonies mark the destruction of the Imperial Confederation at Brosi, not as a tragedy to be mourned, but as the crucible from which the League was born. Fleet reviews, military parades, industrial exhibitions, and public oath-taking ceremonies are common throughout member states, with many worlds maintaining monumental memorials dedicated to fallen admirals, soldiers, and pioneers who contributed to the rise of their respective realms. The anniversary of the League's founding is celebrated across all member states as the Day of Rejuvenation, featuring military flyovers, public festivals, and speeches emphasizing strength, unity, and imperial renewal.

Among the League's elite, one of the most exclusive curios is membership in the informal Circle, a loose social network composed of prominent industrialists, admirals, aristocrats, financiers, and political figures from across League territory. Though possessing no official authority, the Circle serves as a venue for private negotiations, patronage arrangements, and alliance-building among the frontier's most powerful individuals. Rumors persist that hidden among its ranks are covert agents and intermediaries connected to the Kainate, though such claims remain impossible to verify and are publicly dismissed as speculation.
  • Rules: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation is governed by a collection of foundational principles known collectively as the Articles of Rejuvenation, which establish the obligations, rights, and expectations of all member states. These rules are intentionally designed to preserve cooperation between the League's powerful warlords while preventing the alliance from fracturing into open conflict. Above all else, the Articles prioritize stability, mutual benefit, and the continued advancement of the broader project of Imperial Rejuvenation.

All member states are required to recognize the sovereignty and territorial integrity of fellow League members. Internal disputes are expected to be resolved through negotiation, arbitration, economic pressure, or Directorate mediation rather than military action. Open warfare between member states is considered one of the gravest violations of League law, as such conflicts threaten the unity and prosperity upon which the organization depends. While political rivalries and economic competition are accepted as natural and even desirable, they must remain within boundaries that do not endanger the League as a whole.

Members are obligated to contribute to the collective defense and economic development of the League according to their capabilities. This may include military assistance, logistical support, industrial production, resource exports, intelligence sharing, or financial contributions. In return, member states are guaranteed access to League markets, protected trade routes, joint infrastructure projects, and mutual defense agreements. The League's extensive economic integration is considered a cornerstone of its strength, and deliberate interference with League commerce is treated as an attack upon all members.

The preservation of order is regarded as a fundamental responsibility of every member government. Piracy, insurgency, organized rebellion, and criminal activity are tolerated only when directed against external rivals; within League territory, such threats are expected to be suppressed swiftly and decisively. Member states are required to maintain effective security forces, secure major trade corridors, and cooperate in anti-piracy and counterinsurgency operations. Frontier instability may be exploited beyond League borders, but disorder within League space is considered unacceptable.

The League also places great emphasis on economic productivity and resource development. Member governments are expected to maximize the exploitation of their territories' industrial, agricultural, technological, and strategic potential. Infrastructure development, resource extraction, industrial expansion, and trade growth are actively encouraged and frequently coordinated through League-wide initiatives. Economic stagnation is viewed not merely as a failure of governance but as a threat to the future prosperity and security of the entire organization.

While the League officially rejects ideological conformity, all members are expected to uphold the broader principles of Imperial Rejuvenation: strong leadership, hierarchical governance, military preparedness, economic development, and the restoration of civilization through strength and order. Governments that embrace democracy, revolutionary populism, separatism, or anti-League agitation are viewed with suspicion and may face political isolation or intervention. In practice, the League functions as a fraternity of authoritarian regimes whose rulers share a common belief that stability, prosperity, and imperial greatness can only be achieved through disciplined governance and concentrated power.

Finally, the Articles of Rejuvenation establish a principle often summarized by League statesmen as "Strength Through Unity, Prosperity Through Rejuvenation." Though its members compete fiercely for wealth, prestige, and influence, all are expected to recognize that their greatest successes have come not through isolation, but through participation in a common frontier order. The League therefore exists as both a defensive alliance and a civilizational project, dedicated to ensuring that the collapse of the Imperial Confederation is remembered not as an ending, but as the beginning of a new imperial age.
  • Goals: The League of Imperial Rejuvenation exists to ensure the long-term survival, prosperity, and expansion of its member states through collective strength, economic integration, and coordinated development. Born from the collapse of the Imperial Confederation, the League views itself as the successor to a failed age and seeks to prove that the frontier can be governed more effectively through strong leadership, military preparedness, and practical cooperation than through the fragile institutions that preceded it. Its leaders frequently describe their mission as nothing less than the reconstruction of civilization along the frontier and the forging of a new imperial order capable of enduring where others have fallen.

Foremost among the League's objectives is the maintenance of political stability and security throughout its sphere of influence. The member states seek to suppress piracy, insurgency, separatism, criminal disorder, and foreign interference within their territories while expanding secure trade routes and strengthening the infrastructure that connects their economies. The League believes that stability is the foundation upon which all other achievements rest and therefore invests heavily in military forces, internal security, transportation networks, communications systems, and frontier development projects designed to bind its territories together.

Economic growth and resource accumulation constitute another central goal of the organization. The League actively pursues the expansion of industrial capacity, resource extraction, agricultural production, technological development, and interstellar commerce across all member states. Vast quantities of raw materials, manufactured goods, fuel reserves, foodstuffs, and strategic resources flow through League territory each year, fueling both local prosperity and broader developmental ambitions. League planners seek to transform the frontier into a self-sustaining economic bloc capable of competing with larger galactic powers while continuously expanding its productive capabilities.

The League also seeks to increase its political influence beyond its formal borders. Through trade agreements, infrastructure investments, security partnerships, economic dependency, and diplomatic outreach, League leaders work to draw neighboring systems and governments into their sphere. Rather than relying solely upon conquest, they often prefer gradual integration through commerce, patronage, and mutual dependence. Over time, many frontier governments find themselves increasingly tied to League markets, industries, and security arrangements, creating a growing network of client states and affiliated territories that extends well beyond the League's official membership.

Militarily, the League strives to maintain overwhelming superiority within its region of space. Joint fleet exercises, coordinated procurement programs, military standardization initiatives, and defense cooperation agreements are intended to ensure that no rival power can easily challenge the League's interests. Member states continually expand their fleets, modernize their armies, and improve their industrial war-making capacity. While publicly defensive in nature, these efforts also provide the means to project power, secure strategic resources, and influence neighboring regions whenever opportunities arise.

Underlying all of these objectives is the League's commitment to the doctrine of Imperial Rejuvenation itself. Its leaders believe that the collapse of the Imperial Confederation created an opportunity to build something stronger, wealthier, and more durable than what came before. The League therefore seeks not merely to preserve its member states, but to cultivate a new frontier aristocracy, a new economic order, and a new imperial civilization capable of shaping the future of the galaxy. To its rulers, the League is not simply an alliance of convenience - it is the foundation upon which a new age of power, prosperity, and imperial greatness will ultimately be constructed.

Unspoken but equally important is the League's role as a vast engine of accumulation. Through the extraction of resources, expansion of industry, consolidation of trade, and cultivation of economic dependencies, the League steadily amasses wealth, manpower, infrastructure, and strategic influence on a scale far greater than any individual member state could achieve alone. In doing so, it positions itself as both a rising power in its own right and a crucial pillar within the broader frontier order, ensuring that the resources and opportunities of the outer galaxy continue to flow toward those strong enough to seize and organize them.

What few within the League realize, however, is that this immense process of accumulation ultimately serves a purpose beyond the ambitions of the League itself. Through a labyrinthine network of covert trade agreements, shell corporations, financial intermediaries, procurement contracts, intelligence fronts, and hidden investment syndicates, vast quantities of the League's accumulated wealth are quietly redirected into the hands of the Kainate. Resources extracted from frontier worlds, profits generated by League industries, revenues collected from trade, and even strategic stockpiles gradually disappear into channels controlled by Kainate agents and affiliated organizations.

To the League's rulers, these arrangements often appear as routine commercial agreements or mutually beneficial partnerships; to the Kainate, they represent a colossal and largely self-sustaining extraction apparatus operating beyond the borders of Sith-controlled space. Thus, while the League believes itself to be laying the foundations of a new imperial civilization, it unknowingly functions as one of the greatest tributary systems in the galaxy, funneling enormous wealth, material, and economic power into the coffers of the Eternal Father and furthering the long-term designs of the Kainate with every passing year.

  • Voivode Malrec Draath — Sovereign Voivode of Karkaris: The founder and de facto leader of the League of Imperial Rejuvenation, Malrec Draath is a former Imperial Confederation admiral who transformed the strategically vital world of Karkaris into the foremost naval and commercial power of the frontier. Charismatic, ruthless, and obsessed with prestige, Draath styles himself as the architect of a new imperial renaissance. Under his rule, Karkaris has become the League's primary maritime hub, logistical center, and diplomatic crossroads. Though officially only first among equals within the Imperial Directorate, his control of the League's largest fleet, most important trade routes, and closest connections to external benefactors grants him enormous influence over the organization's affairs.
  • Marcher-Lord Sevros Kane — Lord of the Corvus Marches: A grim industrial autocrat renowned for his discipline and relentless work ethic, Sevros Kane rules the Corvus Marches from a network of fortress-manufactories and military-industrial complexes. Kane views industry itself as a weapon and has transformed his territory into one of the most productive armaments centers in frontier space. The Corvus Marches supply vast quantities of weapons, armor, vehicles, and military equipment to League member states, making Kane indispensable to the coalition's continued militarization. His personal philosophy emphasizes sacrifice, production, and order above all else, earning him a reputation as one of the most austere rulers within the League.
  • Lady Protector Lysa Vantor — Ruler of the Jaminere Protectorate: Widely regarded as the League's most politically sophisticated leader, Lysa Vantor presides over the commercial and financial powerhouse of Jaminere. Elegant, intelligent, and exceptionally ambitious, she has built a vast network of bankers, shipping magnates, corporate syndicates, and intelligence contacts that extends throughout the frontier. Through her influence over trade, finance, and logistics, Vantor often shapes League policy as effectively as any military commander. While publicly presenting herself as a champion of stability and prosperity, she is also known for her mastery of political intrigue and her ability to profit from virtually every major development within League territory.
  • Director-General Korrin Vex — Master of the Directorate of Raxus Prime: The cybernetically enhanced ruler of Raxus Prime, Korrin Vex governs an immense industrial salvage empire built upon the endless scrapyards and reclamation facilities of his world. Cold, analytical, and technologically obsessed, Vex sees civilization as a machine whose components can be endlessly disassembled and rebuilt into more efficient forms. Under his leadership, the Directorate has become the League's primary source of recovered technology, recycled materials, cybernetics, and industrial machinery. His expertise in logistics and resource utilization makes him one of the most respected economic planners within the Directorate of Rejuvenation.
  • Archon-Duke Voran Jastus — Lord of the Mina-Rau Compact: A wealthy aristocrat and self-proclaimed steward of frontier civilization, Voran Jastus governs the agricultural heartland of the League. From vast estates, agrarian arcologies, and corporate farming combines, he oversees the production of enormous quantities of foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, livestock, and biological resources that sustain both civilian populations and military forces throughout League territory. Jastus presents himself as a paternal guardian of tradition, stability, and prosperity, though critics often note that his wealth is built upon systems of debt dependency, labor obligations, and highly stratified social hierarchies.
  • High Dominionary Valerius Ornek — Supreme Ruler of the Belderone Dominion: The most openly militaristic of the League's rulers, Valerius Ornek has forged the Belderone Dominion into a society dedicated almost entirely to martial excellence, military service, and imperial expansion. A decorated fleet commander and veteran of countless frontier campaigns, Ornek is revered by his supporters as the embodiment of the warrior-aristocrat ideal. Under his leadership, the Dominion maintains one of the largest and most capable military establishments within the League, producing warships, armored formations, and elite officer corps on a massive scale. His influence within the Directorate is particularly strong whenever questions of defense, military strategy, or territorial expansion arise.
  • Custodian-Archon Cassian Thule — Lord of the Ossus Enclave: A scholar, antiquarian, and relic magnate, Cassian Thule rules the ancient world of Ossus through a network of universities, excavation guilds, museums, and archaeological expeditions. Under his leadership, the Ossus Enclave has become the League's foremost center of historical research, artifact recovery, and knowledge acquisition. Thule presents himself as the guardian of civilization's lost wisdom, though critics argue that his state treats history itself as a commodity to be monopolized, controlled, and exploited for political and economic gain.
  • Warden-Prime Darius Voss — Supreme Warden of the Lola Sayu Penal Authority: A former security administrator turned prison-state ruler, Darius Voss governs the infamous world of Lola Sayu and its vast network of prisons, labor camps, and correctional facilities. Through an immense bureaucracy of wardens and security forces, he oversees billions of convicts, debtors, political dissidents, and contract laborers who serve as the backbone of the Penal Authority's economy. Voss promotes his realm as a model of order, discipline, and efficiency, though many outsiders view it as little more than a planetary-scale labor camp hidden behind legal formalities and administrative jargon.

The League of Imperial Rejuvenation is an exceptionally young organization, having existed for less than two years. Its origins lie in the sudden and catastrophic collapse of the Imperial Confederation following the disastrous invasion of Brosi. What had once appeared to be a stable frontier power fragmented almost overnight as Confederate fleets were destroyed, supply networks collapsed, and central authority ceased to function. Across the frontier, admirals, governors, industrial magnates, and military commanders abandoned the dying Confederation and moved to secure their own territories, resources, and populations before the spreading chaos could consume them as well.

Among the most successful of these emerging warlords was Admiral Malrec Draath, who seized control of Karkaris and transformed it into a heavily fortified naval stronghold. Elsewhere, Sevros Kane consolidated the industrial systems of Corvus, Lysa Vantor secured the financial networks of Jaminere, Korrin Vex took command of the salvage empires of Raxus Prime, Voran Jastus established authority over Mina-Rau's agricultural sectors, and Valerius Ornek forged Belderone into a militarized fortress-state. Though each ruler emerged independently, all faced similar challenges: piracy, economic disruption, labor shortages, refugee crises, and the ever-present threat of neighboring rivals seeking to expand at their expense.

For much of the first year following the Confederation's collapse, relations between these successor states remained tense. Trade disputes, territorial disagreements, and covert competition were common as each warlord attempted to secure strategic advantages. None possessed the strength necessary to dominate the others outright, yet none trusted their neighbors enough to pursue meaningful cooperation. The frontier entered a period of uneasy instability, with prosperity and violence often existing side by side as the newly formed regimes struggled to consolidate their power.

The first signs of cooperation emerged not from ideology but from necessity. Karkaris required industrial goods from Corvus. Corvus needed access to Jaminere's financial institutions. Mina-Rau depended upon protected shipping routes to export foodstuffs, while Belderone required secure fuel supplies to sustain its expanding fleets. As economic realities forced the warlords into closer contact, a series of bilateral agreements gradually developed into a broader network of trade partnerships, transit accords, and security arrangements spanning much of the frontier.

Recognizing the advantages of coordination, the rulers convened a historic summit at Coralhold on Karkaris approximately eighteen months after the fall of the Confederation. There they negotiated the Articles of Rejuvenation and formally established the League of Imperial Rejuvenation. Rather than creating a centralized state, the founders deliberately structured the League as a confederation of sovereign powers, preserving their personal authority while gaining the benefits of collective economic and military cooperation. The Imperial Directorate was established to coordinate League affairs, while the newly adopted black, crimson, and gold emblem symbolized the alliance's commitment to rebuilding frontier civilization.

The League's first year of existence was marked by rapid expansion and institutional development. Joint anti-piracy operations secured major trade corridors, economic agreements standardized commerce between member states, and new infrastructure projects linked previously isolated territories. Military exercises became increasingly common, while League-backed corporations and industrial syndicates expanded their operations across member space. Though still politically decentralized, the organization quickly became one of the most influential powers in the frontier.

The League's growth accelerated further with the admission of two additional members. Custodian-Archon Cassian Thule brought the Ossus Enclave into the alliance, providing access to archaeological resources, historical archives, and valuable research institutions. Shortly thereafter, Warden-Prime Darius Voss joined with the Lola Sayu Penal Authority, contributing vast labor resources and administrative capabilities. Their inclusion expanded the Directorate from six to eight permanent members and significantly strengthened the League's economic self-sufficiency.

Even within its brief existence, however, the League has become increasingly intertwined with forces beyond the awareness of most of its citizens and many of its leaders. Covert trade relationships, financial arrangements, industrial investments, and intelligence partnerships have quietly linked the League to the Kainate. While the warlords believe they are building an independent imperial successor state, hidden networks have already begun redirecting a substantial portion of the League's accumulated wealth, resources, and industrial output into Kainate-controlled channels. As a result, the League of Imperial Rejuvenation stands today as both a rapidly rising frontier alliance and an increasingly important instrument within a far larger and more ambitious Sith-Imperial design.

    • The Kainate - The principal architects and executors of the Great Purge, the Kainate under Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis coordinated a galaxy-spanning extermination campaign against the remnants of the New Jedi Order. Utilizing their vast array of forces and influence, the Kainate systematically hunted isolated Jedi across former Galactic Alliance territory. The Purge formed part of a broader effort to eliminate organized Jedi resistance and secure Sith dominance over the post-Alliance galaxy.
    • The New Jedi Order - The primary victims of the Purge, the New Jedi Order had already been severely weakened following the fall of Coruscant and the collapse of the Galactic Alliance. While some Jedi escaped into exile alongside the Hidden Path or fled to the High Republic, many remained behind to defend vulnerable former Alliance worlds from chaos, piracy, and Sith incursions. Fragmented, overstretched, and deprived of centralized support, the NJO was gradually destroyed through relentless military assaults, targeted assassinations, betrayals, and coordinated manhunts.
    • Reorganized Federal Government of the Galactic Alliance - Initially formed as a successor state claiming continuity with the fallen Galactic Alliance, the RFGGA became an active collaborator in the Purge under heavy Sith influence. Its security forces, intelligence agencies, and local planetary authorities aided Kainate operations by identifying, arresting, and exposing Jedi survivors throughout former Alliance space. The regime publicly portrayed surviving Jedi as dangerous destabilizers prolonging galactic disorder, using anti-Jedi legislation and propaganda to justify its participation in the campaign.
  • Brief Overview: The Great Purge of the New Jedi Order was a prolonged campaign of extermination conducted between 903 and 905 ABY by Darth Carnifex, Darth Prazutis, and the Kainate during the chaotic aftermath of the Galactic Alliance's collapse.
    • Fall of Coruscant and Collapse of the Galactic Alliance (903 ABY): The Galactic Empire under Darth Solipsis captured Coruscant, triggering the rapid political and military collapse of the Galactic Alliance. Former member-worlds became isolated and unstable as federal authority disintegrated across much of the galaxy.
    • Fragmentation of the New Jedi Order (903 ABY): In the aftermath of the Alliance's collapse, the New Jedi Order split between Jedi who fled into clandestine exile networks or the High Republic and those who remained behind to protect vulnerable worlds throughout former Alliance territory.
    • Beginning of the Great Purge (Late 903 ABY): Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis initiated a systematic campaign to eradicate surviving Jedi across former Galactic Alliance space through coordinated military assaults, intelligence operations, and targeted extermination efforts.
    • Expansion of Anti-Jedi Operations (904 ABY): The Kainate broadened the Purge into a galaxy-wide suppression campaign, coercing planetary governments into assisting Sith authorities while dismantling Jedi sanctuaries, supply routes, and support networks.
    • Hunt for the Jedi Shadows (904 ABY): Former Jedi Shadow Allyson Locke provides the Kainate with intelligence regarding surviving Jedi enclaves, clandestine operations, and the identities of numerous Jedi Shadows. With her aid, the Kainate hunts down and kills many of the surviving Jedi Shadows of the New Jedi Order.
    • Formation of the Reorganized Federal Government of the Galactic Alliance (904 ABY): The RFGGA emerged as a collaborationist successor state to the fallen Galactic Alliance and became an active participant in the Purge by legitimizing anti-Jedi campaigns and assisting Sith operations.
    • Destruction of Major Jedi Sanctuaries (Late 904 ABY): The Kainate systematically hunted down and destroyed many of the last remaining centers of organized Jedi activity, including the mobile temple Prosperity, further fragmenting surviving Jedi forces.
    • Collapse of Organized Jedi Resistance (Early 905 ABY): Sustained military pressure, political repression, and constant pursuit reduced the surviving Jedi to isolated cells, wandering fugitives, and underground refuge networks operating in secrecy.
    • End of the Great Purge (905 ABY): By the conclusion of the campaign, the New Jedi Order had effectively ceased to exist as a unified galactic institution, leaving only survivors within the High Republic and hidden enclaves beyond Sith-controlled space.

The Great Purge of the New Jedi Order was a systematic two-year extermination campaign orchestrated by Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis in the aftermath of the Galactic Empire's conquest of Coruscant and the subsequent collapse of the Galactic Alliance. With the Alliance fractured, its military shattered, and central authority effectively nonexistent, the New Jedi Order found itself isolated across hundreds of vulnerable worlds. While a minority of survivors rallied around Valery Noble and disappeared into the clandestine network known as the Hidden Path, the majority of Jedi remained behind in former Alliance territory to defend abandoned populations from piracy, warlordism, Sith incursions, and civil collapse. This decision left them dangerously exposed.

Recognizing the disarray of the post-Alliance galaxy as an opportunity to permanently cripple organized Jedi resistance, Darth Carnifex initiated a coordinated campaign of extermination throughout former Galactic Alliance space. Kainate fleets, Saaraishash operatives, and Blackblade Guard detachments targeted isolated Jedi enclaves, relief missions, safehouses, and temples across dozens of systems. Entire worlds already weakened by economic collapse and political instability were pressured or coerced into surrendering Jedi protectors to Sith authorities. Others willingly collaborated out of fear of retribution or in exchange for military aid and economic support.

The Purge intensified further following the establishment of the Reorganized Federal Government of the Galactic Alliance, a collaborationist successor regime heavily influenced by the Sith. Publicly presenting itself as the lawful continuation of the fallen Galactic Alliance, the RFGGA framed the remaining Jedi as destabilizing extremists responsible for prolonging galactic chaos. Federal Security forces, local militias, and intelligence bureaus were mobilized to aid Kainate operations by identifying, tracking, and detaining surviving Jedi. The regime's anti-Jedi legislation effectively criminalized harboring Force-sensitive fugitives within its territory.

A crucial factor in the campaign's effectiveness was the defection of the former Jedi Shadow Allyson Locke, who had fallen to the Dark Side and aligned herself with the Sith. Leveraging her intimate knowledge of New Jedi Order operations, clandestine communications, and Shadow networks, Locke provided the Kainate with intelligence on surviving Jedi cells, hidden sanctuaries, and former associates. Her information proved especially devastating to the Jedi Shadows, many of whom were systematically eliminated through targeted assassinations, infiltration operations, and coordinated ambushes.

A major operation of the Great Purge centered around the destruction of the Prosperity, an immense ancient spaceborne temple that had served as one of the New Jedi Order's most important mobile sanctuaries and centers of influence following the collapse of the Galactic Alliance. Vast enough to function as a traveling fortress-monastery, the Prosperity carried Jedi refugees, archivists, initiates, healers, and relief personnel across former Alliance territory, bringing aid and stability to isolated worlds while simultaneously acting as a rallying point for surviving Jedi. Over the years, the temple had become both a powerful symbol of the New Jedi Order's endurance and a practical means of maintaining communication between scattered Jedi enclaves.

Darth Carnifex identified the Prosperity as one of the single greatest remaining pillars of organized Jedi resistance. Acting on intelligence gathered through Kainate infiltrators, collaborationist officials within the Reorganized Federal Government of the Galactic Alliance, and information provided by the fallen former Jedi Shadow Allyson Locke, the Kainate launched a concentrated campaign to locate the wandering temple. Sith intelligence operations systematically dismantled the hidden supply chains, hyperspace routes, and sympathetic planetary networks that had kept the vessel concealed throughout the early stages of the Purge.

When the Prosperity was finally discovered operating within the fringes of former Galactic Alliance space, the Kainate committed overwhelming force to ensure its destruction. Shadow Armada warships isolated the temple from escape routes while Blackblade Guard boarding contingents and Dark Side adepts assaulted its interior chambers in brutal close-quarters fighting. Large portions of the ancient structure were devastated during the battle as the Jedi defenders attempted to evacuate civilians, sacred archives, and surviving initiates. According to later accounts, Darth Carnifex himself participated in the final stages of the assault, viewing the destruction of the Prosperity as both a strategic necessity and a symbolic execution of the dying New Jedi Order.

By the conclusion of the Great Purge in 905 ABY, the New Jedi Order had effectively ceased to exist as a unified galactic institution. The overwhelming majority of Jedi remaining in former Galactic Alliance territory were killed, captured, or driven into permanent hiding. Only scattered Hidden Path enclaves, isolated wandering survivors, and remnants affiliated with the High Republic endured beyond the Purge. The event marked the definitive end of the New Jedi Order as a major galactic power and cemented the dominance of Sith-aligned regimes throughout much of known space.

  • Event Name: Hunt for the Faithless
  • Event Specific Links:
  • Location: Across Former Galactic Empire and Neutral Space
  • Galactic Standard Year: 904-905 ABY
  • Participants:
    • The Kainate - The Kainate served as the principal architects and executors of the Hunt for the Faithless, orchestrating a galaxy-wide extermination campaign against the surviving Dark Side institutions of Darth Solipsis' fallen Galactic Empire. Led by Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis, the Kainate deployed Shadow Armada fleets, Sith strike forces, intelligence operatives, and Blackblade Guard kill-teams to systematically hunt down remaining Dark Jedi Elite warbands, Church sanctuaries, and Imperial loyalists across former Imperial territory.
    • Dark Side Elite - The Dark Side Elite were the personal Dark Side enforcers of Darth Solipsis' Galactic Empire, evolving from the traditions of the Imperial Knights into a ruthless order of Dark Jedi devoted entirely to the Emperor and the Dark Side. They functioned as military commanders, inquisitors, executioners, and ideological overseers throughout the Empire, wielding immense authority during Solipsis' reign. Following the Fall of Coruscant, surviving members of the Elite became primary targets of the Hunt for the Faithless, with many retreating into hidden fortresses, warlord enclaves, and scattered survivor bands before being systematically destroyed by Kainate forces. Their final major stronghold collapsed during the Kainate assault on Byss and the destruction of their flagship-temple, the Sepulchre.
    • Church of the Dark Side - The Church of the Dark Side served as the state religion and ideological backbone of Solipsis' Galactic Empire, institutionalizing Sith doctrine across Imperial society through worship, propaganda, ritual, and fanatic devotion to the Dark Side. The Church cultivated widespread loyalty to Solipsis and spread Sith teachings among civilians, military personnel, and political elites alike, becoming deeply embedded within Imperial governance and culture. During the Hunt for the Faithless, the Church's sanctuaries, priesthoods, hidden congregations, and ritual centers were relentlessly targeted by the Kainate, who viewed them as dangerous ideological rivals. Though the organization was shattered by the campaign, scattered cults and isolated faithful continued to survive in secrecy long after the destruction of the Empire.
  • Brief Overview: The Hunt for the Faithless was a galaxy-wide extermination campaign conducted by Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis to systematically destroy the surviving remnants of the Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side following the collapse of Darth Solipsis' Galactic Empire.
    • Sith Covenant Conquest of Coruscant (904 ABY): The Sith Covenant captured Coruscant and overthrew Darth Solipsis' Galactic Empire. During the chaos, Arris Windrun turned the Empire's own internal purge protocols against itself, triggering catastrophic infighting, automated security crackdowns, and mass political executions that caused the Imperial government to rapidly collapse from within.
    • Collapse of Imperial Authority (904 ABY): As communications and central command structures disintegrated, surviving elements of the Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side fled across former Imperial territory. Entire sectors descended into confusion as Imperial officials, military commanders, cult hierarchs, and Dark Side adepts attempted to establish isolated holdouts or escape the spreading collapse.
    • Beginning of the Hunt for the Faithless (904 ABY): Having aided the Sith Covenant for his own strategic gain, Darth Carnifex initiated a systematic extermination campaign against the surviving Dark Side institutions of Solipsis' Empire. Alongside Darth Prazutis, he declared the remnants of the Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side to be the "Faithless," illegitimate rivals to the Kainate's self-proclaimed "Faithful."
    • Expansion of Kainate Purge Operations (904 ABY): The Kainate launched coordinated military and intelligence campaigns throughout former Imperial space, targeting surviving Dark Jedi, Sith cultists, Church congregations, and loyalist enclaves. Hidden sanctuaries, fortress-monasteries, and clandestine gathering sites were systematically infiltrated, besieged, or destroyed by Shadow Armada forces and Blackblade Guard kill-teams.
    • Isolation of Byss (Late 904 ABY): The ancient citadel world of Byss, one of the last major bastions loyal to Solipsis, was secretly blockaded by Kainate forces to prevent news of the Fall of Coruscant from reaching the system and allowing organized resistance to fully mobilize.
    • Kainate Incursion to Byss (Late 904 ABY): Once the blockade had sufficiently isolated the system, the Kainate launched a massive assault against Byss and its surrounding defenses. The operation targeted Solipsis' immense citadel complex as well as concentrations of Dark Side Elite and Church personnel entrenched across the world.
    • Destruction of the Citadel and the Sepulchre (Late 904 ABY): During the climax of the battle, Kainate forces destroyed Solipsis' citadel and the Sepulchre, the colossal flagship-temple of the Dark Side Elite that had remained moored above the planet. The crippled vessel fell from orbit and crashed into the cityscape below, devastating vast portions of Byss' capital city and annihilating much of the remaining centralized leadership of the Faithless.
    • Final Extermination Campaigns (905 ABY): In the aftermath of Byss, surviving members of the Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side fragmented into scattered warbands, hidden cults, and isolated fugitives across the galaxy. The Kainate intensified its pursuit through assassinations, raids, interrogations, and systematic sweeps of former Imperial territory.
    • End of the Hunt for the Faithless (905 ABY): By the conclusion of the campaign, the Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side had effectively ceased to exist as organized powers. Most surviving members had been killed, captured, or driven into permanent hiding, leaving only isolated remnants scattered throughout the shadows of the galaxy.

The Hunt for the Faithless was a systematic extermination campaign carried out by Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis against the surviving remnants of the Galactic Empire's Dark Side institutions following the catastrophic collapse of Darth Solipsis' regime. Beginning in the immediate aftermath of the Sith Covenant's conquest of Coruscant, the campaign targeted members of the Dark Side Elite, the Church of the Dark Side, and other surviving loyalists of Solipsis' empire who had escaped the destruction of the Imperial government. Carnifex and Prazutis collectively referred to these groups as the "Faithless," contrasting them against the Kainate's self-styled "Faithful," whom they viewed as the only legitimate inheritors of Sith destiny and authority.

The collapse of the Galactic Empire occurred with extraordinary speed after Arris Windrun turned the Empire's own internal purge protocols against itself during the Fall of Coruscant. What followed was a massive internal implosion as paranoia, automated security directives, and political purges tore apart the Imperial state from within. Government ministries vanished overnight, military commands fractured, and entire sectors were consumed by infighting, executions, and systemic collapse. While Darth Carnifex had aided the Sith Covenant during the campaign for his own strategic benefit, he quickly moved to exploit the aftermath by initiating a galaxy-wide hunt for surviving Dark Side rivals before they could reorganize into competing powers.

Much like the concurrent Great Purge against the New Jedi Order, the Hunt for the Faithless relied upon relentless intelligence gathering, military suppression, infiltration, and targeted extermination operations conducted across former Imperial territory. Kainate fleets and strike forces pursued surviving Dark Jedi, Sith cultists, priests, inquisitors, military officers, and loyalist remnants fleeing the ruins of the Empire. Entire hidden sanctuaries, fortress-monasteries, and clandestine congregations of the Church of the Dark Side were rooted out and destroyed as the Kainate sought to monopolize Dark Side authority within the post-Imperial galaxy.

One of the most significant operations of the campaign was the Kainate incursion to Byss. Following the Fall of Coruscant, the ancient citadel world of Byss was quietly isolated under blockade by Kainate forces to prevent news of the Empire's collapse from reaching the planet and allowing organized resistance to form. Once the system had been sufficiently contained, the Kainate launched a devastating assault upon the world and its surrounding defenses.

The operation shattered one of the major strongholds loyal to Solipsis and destroyed vast concentrations of Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side personnel entrenched within the Byssian citadel networks. At the center of the assault stood Solipsis' immense citadel complex and the Sepulchre, the colossal flagship-temple of the Dark Side Elite that remained moored above the world. During the final stages of the battle, Kainate forces destroyed both Solipsis' Citadel and the Sepulchre itself, triggering a catastrophic collapse as the crippled battlecruiser fell from orbit and crashed into the cityscape below. The impact devastated vast sections of Byss' capital districts and marked the effective annihilation of the Dark Side Elite's remaining centralized command structure.

In the aftermath of the destruction of Byss, the Hunt for the Faithless entered its final and most merciless phase. With the Dark Jedi Elite's command structure annihilated and the Church of the Dark Side stripped of its greatest sanctuaries, surviving loyalists scattered across former Imperial territory in desperate attempts to evade the Kainate. Small warbands of Dark Jedi fled into the fringes of known space, Church hierarchs disappeared into hidden shrines and forgotten Sith worlds, and isolated Imperial loyalists attempted to preserve fragments of Solipsis' ideology in exile. Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis refused to allow even these remnants to survive, and the Kainate doggedly pursued surviving members of the Faithless with relentless precision across countless systems.

What followed resembled less a conventional military campaign and more a prolonged extermination effort against a dying civilization. Shadow Armada patrols swept remote hyperspace routes while Blackblade Guard kill-teams and Sith agents infiltrated hidden enclaves, underground cults, and refugee convoys suspected of harboring former Dark Side Elite or Church personnel. Entire fortress-monasteries were erased in orbital bombardments, clandestine congregations vanished without trace, and surviving Dark Jedi were either slain, broken into servitude, or forced into permanent hiding.

By the conclusion of the Hunt for the Faithless in 905 ABY, the surviving Dark Side institutions of Solipsis' Galactic Empire had effectively ceased to exist as organized powers. While scattered fugitives and isolated cults endured in hiding, the Dark Side Elite and Church of the Dark Side were broken beyond recovery. The campaign cemented the Kainate as the dominant Sith-aligned force within many former Imperial territories and eliminated some of the last significant rivals to Carnifex and Prazutis' growing influence across the galaxy.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Over 10,000 years old at minimum, true age unknown
  • Force Sensitivity: Master
  • Species: Zeffonian
  • Appearance: The entity no longer possesses a true body. Its primary form exists as the Mnemonic Neural Array, an immense gestalt superstructure embedded deep within the internal strata of the Malsheem. Hidden within one of the station's most heavily restricted abyssal vaults, the Array occupies a cathedral-sized chamber of black alloy, obsidian pylons, and dim crimson illumination where the air constantly hums with low psychic resonance.

At the center of the chamber hangs an enormous suspended mass of preserved Zeffonian neural tissue submerged within a vast reservoir of dark alchemical nutrient fluid. Countless brains - many fused together beyond recognition - are threaded into one another through pale nerve bundles, cybernetic filaments, and crystalline memory lattices. Veins of glowing amber energy pulse rhythmically throughout the conglomeration like the circulation system of some colossal artificial organism. Embedded throughout the tissue are ancient Zeffonian sensory nodes, Sith alchemical seals, and Kainate interface grafts installed after its subjugation by Darth Carnifex.

Surrounding the central mass is an immense circular processing complex composed of rotating mnemonic cylinders and towering data-obelisks engraved in ur-Kittât and ancient Zeffonian glyphs, while suspended hololithic star maps drift slowly through the darkness above vast choir-like arrays of chanting machine processors. Thick neural conduits descend from the chamber into the deeper systems architecture of the Malsheem itself.

When interacting directly with others, the entity manifests through remote avatars or towering holographic projections resembling elongated Zeffonian figures draped in black ceremonial robes and segmented bronze masks. These projections often flicker and distort as multiple overlapping faces briefly emerge beneath the surface, as though thousands of dead minds are attempting to speak simultaneously through the same image.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: The Collegium
  • Loyalties: Formerly loyal only to itself and the continuation of Zeffonian civilization. Following its discovery within an abandoned Zeffonian vault-complex, Darth Carnifex subjected the entity to prolonged Sith domination rituals, memory excision, and recursive psychic conditioning. While still highly dangerous and partially autonomous, the Collegium now serves the Kainate as a strategic advisor, archivist, and metaphysical analysis engine.
  • Wealth: The Collegium possesses no personal wealth in the traditional sense, though the archaeological and technological value of the Zeffonian vaults under its control is incalculable. Through its cooperation with the Kainate, numerous forgotten Zeffonian hyperspatial cartographies, stellar observatories, Force artifacts, and computational systems have been recovered and repurposed.
  • Notable Possessions:
    • Vast archives of pre-Republic stellar cartography.
    • Ancient Zeffonian memory-crystals containing extinct philosophical traditions.
    • A network of dormant observatory arrays hidden across the Unknown Regions.
    • "Mnemonic Vaults" containing digitized and Force-imprinted personalities of ancient Zeffonian rulers and mystics.
    • Several biomechanical Zeffonian guardian constructs now repurposed by the Kainate.
    • A partially reconstructed Zeffonian probability-engine capable of limited future-state calculations.
  • Skills:
    • Hyper-advanced strategic analysis.
    • Long-range predictive modeling.
    • Ancient archaeological and linguistic expertise.
    • Memory extraction and psychic interrogation.
    • Coordination of massive information networks.
    • Cybernetic infiltration and machine possession.
    • Esoteric Force philosophy.
    • Psychological manipulation through layered personalities.
    • Simultaneous parallel thought processing across thousands of cognitive partitions.

  • Personality: The Collegium speaks with the weight of an empire that refused extinction. Every word it utters carries the cadence of ritual proclamation, as though even casual observations are being recited before an invisible assembly. It rarely raises its voice, yet its presence exerts immense psychological pressure upon those around it. Conversations with the entity often feel less like discourse and more like standing trial before an ancient civilization still convinced of its own divine mandate. It views itself not merely as an intelligence, but as the living continuity of ordered thought, the final preservation of a people who believed memory itself was sacred.

Though outwardly calm and methodical, the Collegium is not truly singular in temperament. Thousands of preserved minds exist within its vast neural lattice, and fragments of their personalities constantly surface beneath the unified whole. At times it speaks with serene philosophical melancholy, lamenting the impermanence of organic civilizations and the inevitability of decay. Moments later, another current may emerge: coldly authoritarian, contemptuous of emotional weakness, or possessed of almost priest-like fervor regarding the necessity of hierarchy and control. These shifts are often subtle, detectable only through slight alterations in tone or syntax, though prolonged interaction inevitably reveals the fractured chorus beneath the surface.

The Collegium possesses a profound obsession with continuity. To it, the greatest sin imaginable is not cruelty or conquest, but fragmentation. Disorder, ideological plurality, uncontrolled emotion, and the unpredictability of living societies are viewed as existential flaws inherent to biological civilization. It genuinely believes that sentient beings are incapable of governing themselves without eventually descending into stagnation, collapse, or self-destruction. Preservation through centralization is therefore, in its view, not tyranny but mercy. Every act of surveillance, manipulation, and control carried out by the Collegium is framed internally as a necessary act of stewardship.

Despite its immense intelligence, the Collegium is deeply archaic in its thinking. It struggles to comprehend spontaneity, individualism, or cultures that do not orient themselves around permanence and institutional continuity. Entire concepts such as rebellion, artistic irrationality, or self-sacrifice for abstract ideals often appear incomprehensible to it. While capable of adapting tactically, it remains psychologically trapped within the intellectual assumptions of a civilization dead for tens of thousands of years. This makes the entity extraordinarily knowledgeable, yet also rigid and recursive, prone to endlessly reexamining old conclusions through the same ancient frameworks that once doomed its creators.

Toward Darth Carnifex, the Collegium maintains a mixture of reverence, fear, fascination, and subdued resentment. It recognizes within him a will powerful enough to dominate not merely individuals or states, but entire systems of civilization. In many respects, it sees him as the culmination of trajectories the Zeffonians themselves once pursued: the subordination of mortality, the centralization of power, and the elevation of singular purpose above all competing impulses. Yet this recognition is accompanied by a quiet unease, for the Collegium also perceives in Carnifex the possibility of transcendence beyond the static immortality to which it is eternally confined.

Beneath all of its certainty and monumental arrogance lies an immense, unspoken terror. The Collegium has existed for so long that it can scarcely remember what it once meant to be alive as an individual being. Entire epochs have passed in darkness beneath its original resting place, accompanied only by the endless internal discourse of dead minds speaking to one another without rest. It fears irrelevance more than destruction, obscurity more than death itself. For if the galaxy ceases to remember the civilizations housed within its neural vaults, then all of its endless thought, preservation, and continuity will ultimately have amounted to nothing but an eternal tomb still whispering to itself in the dark.
