PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Fast Track: The Trataab'morut has a fast track turret, enabling it to track fast moving infantry, vehicle and even some airborne targets with reasonable ease.
  • Heavy Weapons Loadout: The Trataab'morut has a reasonably heavy armament for a vehicle of its kind.
  • Resilient: The IFV is heavily armored, features ERA plates, combat de-ionizers, a pair of anti-missile octets and a shield generator. This enables it to take damage from a variety of different sources and of a variety of different types and come out intact.
  • Manda Tactical Battlenet: The Manda tactical battlenet gives crews a powerful data analytic and battlefield coordination tool that allows them to seamlessly share data with friendly infantry, other vehicles and even supporting aircraft, track and engage multiple targets easily with optimized targeting solutions, that also analyzes enemy tactics and can control and/or manage certain subsystems for the crew.
  • Automation: The load on the crew is reduced given that automated droid brains control the hull and pintle mounts.
  • Advanced Sensor and Communications Package: The IFV's advanced and communications package allow it to detect and track targets and threats at all manner of ranges and also ensure that coordination between friendly forces and the crew is both easy and secure.
  • Sealed Crew and Passenger Compartment: The crew and passenger compartment are both environmentally sealed, allowing the crew and passengers to survive hazardous environments, chemical and biological weapons, augmenting the capabilities of their own armor to do so.
  • Sensor and Comms Jamming: The IFV features a powerful sensor and communications jammer making it potentially difficult for the enemy to engage them as well as coordinate against their attack.
WEAKNESSES
  • Tracks: Should the IFV become de-tracked, it will be rendered immobile, and while it now becomes a bunker, the fact remains that it is now much more vulnerable given that it can no longer maneuver to protect its vulnerable rear.
  • Very Heavy: The IFV is very heavy, making it difficult to transport as well and also making it difficult for the IFV to traverse certain sorts of terrain that would bog down heavy vehicles.
  • EMP/Ion: Should any EMP/Ion damage manage to get through the IFV's defenses then there's a high chance that many of the IFV's sensitive electronics would become rendered useless, rendering it blind, defenseless or even completely unarmed.
  • Automation: The IFV's high degree of automation does mean it is all the more susceptible to directed slicer attacks, viruses and the like should they actually be able to affect the IFV.
  • Aft Vulnerability: The IFV's rear lacks the ERA the rest of the IFV is protected by, and is where the IFV's engine is located at. A penetrating shot will likely immobilize the vehicle.
  • Reactor: The IFV's Isotope-5 reactor will detonate violently and spectacularly, taking the entire IFV with it, should it overload.
  • Radiation: Should the IFV's reactor be breached, it will leech deadly radiation into the rest of the IFV, damaging sensors and other sensitive equipment.
  • ERA: The IFV's explosive reactive armor means that infantry are forced to operate either directly behind it (where there is no ERA) or at the minimum safe distance, limiting how much supporting infantry can help screen the IFV.
DESCRIPTION
Built using the chassis of the MBT-01 as the basis of its design, the Trataab'morut Infantry Fighting Vehicle is a well-armed, well-protected vehicle with a high speed, enabling it to keep up with the MBT-01 Jariler-class main battle tanks and provide support for both the tanks and disembarking infantry. Unfortunately, given the mess that Strill Securities was in post the retreat from the Breshig System, they haven't seen service with alongside CIS forces yet. Even so, the company hopes that the latest attempt to aid the Silver Jedi Order will prove an adequate field test to ascertain how well the Strill Securities' mechanized units can coordinate and cooperate with their CIS counterparts.

The Trataab'morut has a fast track turret, enabling it to track fast moving infantry, vehicle and even some airborne targets with reasonable ease. This enables it to put its heavy armament to terrifying effect. The IFV is heavily armored, features ERA plates, combat de-ionizers, a pair of anti-missile octets and a shield generator. This enables it to take damage from a variety of different sources and of a variety of different types and come out intact.

The Manda tactical battlenet gives crews a powerful data analytic and battlefield coordination tool that allows them to seamlessly share data with friendly infantry, other vehicles and even supporting aircraft, track and engage multiple targets easily with optimized targeting solutions, that also analyzes enemy tactics and can control and/or manage certain subsystems for the crew. The load on the crew is reduced further given that automated droid brains control the hull and pintle mounts.

The IFV's advanced and communications package allow it to detect and track targets and threats at all manner of ranges and also ensure that coordination between friendly forces and the crew is both easy and secure. The IFV features a powerful sensor and communications jammer making it potentially difficult for the enemy to engage them as well as coordinate against their attack.

The crew and passenger compartment are both environmentally sealed, allowing the crew and passengers to survive hazardous environments, chemical and biological weapons, augmenting the capabilities of their own armor to do so. This is an important feature for an IFV to have, especially on the modern battlefield where all manner of contagions are available for hostiles to use.

Like the tank it was based on, the Trataab'morut has a few flaws. Should the IFV become de-tracked, it will be rendered immobile, and while it now becomes a bunker, the fact remains that it is now much more vulnerable given that it can no longer maneuver to protect its vulnerable rear.
The IFV's rear lacks the ERA the rest of the IFV is protected by, and is where the IFV's engine is located at. A penetrating shot will likely immobilize the vehicle. The Trataab'morut is very heavy, making it difficult to transport as well and also making it difficult for the IFV to traverse certain sorts of terrain that would bog down heavy vehicles.

Should any EMP/Ion damage manage to get through the IFV's defenses then there's a high chance that many of the IFV's sensitive electronics would become rendered useless, rendering it blind, defenseless or even completely unarmed. The IFV's high degree of automation does mean it is all the more susceptible to directed slicer attacks, viruses and the like should they actually be able to affect the IFV.

The IFV's Isotope-5 reactor will detonate violently and spectacularly, taking the entire IFV with it, should it overload. Should the IFV's reactor be breached, it will leech deadly radiation into the rest of the IFV, damaging sensors and other sensitive equipment.

The IFV's explosive reactive armor means that infantry are forced to operate either directly behind it (where there is no ERA) or at the minimum safe distance, limiting how much supporting infantry can help screen the IFV. That said, Strill Securities personnel are more than aware of this, and have altered their SOP to ensure that this particular flaw is accounted for.
