Objective 1: Still doing time.

As she progressed, she noticed the tunnels were not entirely consistent. They would split. She heard an alert in her helmet, lots of forces were arriving apparently. Just great. She didn't need to have all that right now. Sure she was hidden for now, but she wasn't sure what she'd even find in here. And sith had a tendency of steamrolling anything in their way, or trying to seduce it. That was...an odd tendency. But she supposed it did evade the conflict.

She took one of the paths, passing through other equally designed doorways. Whoever built this had tried to make a hidden passageways for some kind of travel. They did a pretty good job of it too, but she could tell that time was making them sloppy. The further she went, the less well prepared it was for the passage of time. The more it went from a flat floor tunnel, to something jagged. She imagined they probably cut themselves quite a few times on this floor after tripping.

Then an exit, another proper use of the force...someone was near. She sensed them, certainly. Someone important. Oh well. This was sith, whether living or some ancient being, the sith were likely plentiful in here already. Or soon would be. She'd deal with things as they came. The door opened, she stepped out, cautiously, and shut it behind her, then narrowed her eyes as on the other side she spotted something familiar, Darth Strosius Darth Strosius . She didn't know him, exactly. But she at least recognized him.

The sith knight waved a hand to him, checking for any others, her senses still at their maximum as she ensured her helmet was at her side rather than on her head. There was a good reason for that, she could literally smell danger. And without the risk of lost oxygen like she had in the tunnel, she'd only bother with it if a fight started. "Any luck?" she asked tilting her head at him, she wasn't entirely sure what approach to take with him actually. He was an ally...of some kind. But she didn't remember too many details right now. Some sith reacted far more volatile than others did if not given a wealth of respect. Something she wasn't so prone to doing. She was somewhat testing the waters.

She nodded quietly to the hulking figure that appeared along with his almost equally large soldiers. Some of the newest additions to the forces under the command of the Zambranos, although she had to wonder where they had acquired such impressive specimens this time. From above, she could see the approaching pitch-black vessels carrying the Blackblades and other forces of her allies that would further secure the site and soon their presences within the Tomb. Their arrival, along with the golems they had formed from Mandalorians lost during the Purge, significantly augmented their force projection and would ensure no one could interfere with their position.

The Lady of Secrets awaited the Lord of Death as his personal craft landed, disgorging the Crownsguard before the large figure of Darth Prazutis emerged. A small smile would grace her lips as he greeted her.

"All the better to make sure we access what we need," she replied, falling into step beside Prazutis as he issued his orders and spoke aloud the name of this new general. Xyrah and their droids and the creature known as Dima would hold the attention of the others until it was too late for their rivals and other Sith to know a march was being stolen upon them.

"Follow me, gentlemen," she continued, leading the way to where her own forces and the Zambrano troops were preparing the device central to their ability to quickly isolate and control portions of the prison. Several technicians had established a small command post now, a holographic map of the Tomb being projected along with the other detected transporters that remained intact.

"The main entrance of the Tomb is located here, in the southern portion of these caverns," the lead scientist reported, coming immediately to attention at the presence of his Mistress and Darth Prazutis. "Lord Xyrah and his forces, along with the odd creature with them, have breached in and we believe others have followed them in. However, due to the experiences of Lady Arcanix from her previous excursions in the area, we have a better layout of the caverns that form the Rakatan prison. We've identified three transporters that should be secured for access to the vaults that contain the mission objectives."

Each would start pulsing in a red light.

"General, I believe between your men and the Blackblades that should be easily enough accomplished," Taeli remarked. "Any rivals or prison defenses still active will need to be neutralized. Exterminate them with extreme prejudice, although I would appreciate some portions be left for study if they seem... unique."

She would turn to Prazutis.

"My Geists and the Ravenscars will spread out for ambush duty and to secure the other treasures we might have use for. I think you and I should go to the deepest part though. The Rakatan power core and one of the vaults near the Eternity Vault contain what we need."

As she spoke, the quiet hum of the systems being powered up would begin and the crackling of energy between the central pylon and the crystalline devices along the rim of the teleporter would fill the chamber. In pairs, Geists and Adepts would step onto the plate and disappear in a flash of red energy to begin the mission.

"Shall we?"

"...So you have confirmed the presence of not only Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex , Darth Xyrah Darth Xyrah , and Domina Prime Domina Prime ... but too the presence of Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis and Lady Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf ..." Malum spoke softly, his breathing and the very tight, perhaps vice grip around his amulet, being perhaps the only motions that kept him from absolutely losing it at the present moment.

The first three were bad enough.

Chaos, simply the first one was horrid enough.

Yet all five?

Along with all other subordinates and inferiors they held at their command? He had not even known that Darth Prazutis had returned to galactic affairs, the man...

...Oh he could say so much about that failed Emperor that was the cause of so many of their woes.

Yet, Malum knew a losing battle when he saw one. Having scaled the fortress with his Tsis'Kaar, having battled through, leaving the droid hulks of the Rakatan defences in their wake.

It was unfortunate they had come so far, for very little, but he knew it was best to cut his losses.

Perhaps get back to negotiations, they were perhaps a fate near death.

But still better than death.

Alas, things were never as easy as he was about to find.

"...Such are what the reports indicate, furthermore, it would seem that Darth Strosius Darth Strosius volunteered for a mission in the Bozhnee Sector."

...

Blood drained out of Malum's face.

Oh no, no, no, no, no, no...

His breathing grew ragged, somehow the grip around his amulet even more tight.

Memories of the Malsheem, memories of Geonosis.

He set off immediately, feeling no guilt that he had to assign Tsis'Kaar resources on the whereabouts of his battlebrother.

After all, when he was doing shit like this, he was clearly justified.

Unfortunately, not knowing where the blazes Ali- Darth Strosius was, meant that he had to do something incredibly risky, extremely so even.

Buy him time.

By talking.

Navigating himself back through where they had come, and using what crevices and holes had been revealed in the old prison's design, after wear and tears of... well millennia, he found himself exactly where he wanted to be.

And where he very much did not want to be.

Confirming his cloak and concealment still held, along with that of the small grouping of Tsis'Kaar that accompanied him, he stared ahead with certain trepidation, watching the descent of Kainte Blackblades, but perhaps far more concerning, Lady Raaf's Ravenscar Adepts, and most worrisome, the Geist Infiltrators.

It was after all, them and the Kainite's own Shikkars, which caused him and his Tsis'Kaar so much strife.

Allowing both to fall, he stood before the imposing sights of both the Lord of Lies and the Mother of Monsters, offering a nod of his head, as one by one, his Tsis'Kaar flickered into existence. There would be no battle today, he hoped, as he revealed his most overt cards.

"Greetings to fellow Sith," There would be no way that Darth Prazutis would forget his presence upon Geonosis... but, it was also true that he had not done anything overtly oppositional to him and his... nephew.

What a concept.

And moreover... a risk, but by his read, there was a chance that Darth Arcanix had some sort of a soft spot for him.

Hopefully enough to make certain that the failed Emperor would not strike him down today.

"...I have cleared the road ahead in preparation for your arrival, in the name of the Emperor, I would see us take this final stronghold upon Belsavis."

Delay, please.

Question.

Wonder.

He had very little he could work off.

Lord Halitus proceeded further in where he saw skeletons embedded in the walls. This certainly was a crypt, or so it was presented. What better way to scare off Jedi trespassers and scavengers, but to the initiated it was familiar and poses no emotional response. Fear was a baptism every Sith undertook, they were washed in it from the first moment they touched the dark power. Then with training and time that fear was mastered and bent to the will of the Darth and if used effectively as Lord Sidious had, had the potential to topple the entire Jedi Order.

Coming to a tunnel of ribe cage design, The Dark Lord inspected the ground which was rather greasy, as if fresh tar had been poured. What traps lay ahead? The treasures of the dark side were not offered on open platters, one had to prove your worth to acquire them. Which made Halitus tap his lightsaber hilt, with a step he heard a plate move and there was beams of red that began spiraling towards him cutting some vine that was there into pieces. The Father marched back as the pattern unfolded, using a The Force he ducked and and then rolled back, then leapt as the beams moved around him in fast movements. He nearly stumbled on a skull and then dropped down again, the beam skimming his bald head and piece of his black lock. He then as the beams came together and rolled like a barrel, igniter his saber and dug it in ground letting it hit the saber blade and throw him clear of the danger. The Menander then disappeared back in the walls.

With a groan Halitus got up and took a deep breath, his respirator pounding in his chest like a gong. Raising up he looked at where he now was, stairs of stone in a square pattern lead down, with pools of water. The Dark Lord throwing his cape back over his shoulder began he descend into whatever trap lurked next.

Slipping away from the larger group was thankfully easier to accomplish than one might think due to the branching corridors and halls that comprised the prison between the holding areas. Some weren't even original parts of the Deep Prison, being additions by later non-Rakatan wardens or simple excavation tunnels dug around what must have once been collapses or blockages in some distant past.

Of course this did make the potential for getting lost all the more apparent but with their maps and the Force he was confident that they would have little issue escaping if need be. They had to focus on the task at hand, expanding and improving their ranks with the captured Sith and relics held within the prison that were just waiting to be reclaimed. Darth Strosius might have been beaten at being the first arrival but he would not allow the Kainites to claim total victory over him this day. Nor any day after for that matter.

Soon enough they began finding their way into proper rooms, yet none with any filled cells or armories yet unfortunately. The masked man could sense another presence near but given that they were moving they must have been another explorer rather than a prisoner. A lone explorer seemingly away from any group and thus free to put down if they proved to be troublesome. Or simply a Kainite.

A door opened and the presence revealed themselves, a couple of the troopers behind him raising their blaster rifle in surprise yet pausing as he raised a hand to stop them from opening fire. While he may not have known every sibling and relative of Malum of House Marr, he certainly knew one when he saw them. He regarded her wave with a slight nod before gesturing for his soldiers to be at ease. "None as of yet. I imagine that our prizes will lie deeper within, so for now the focus is to find a way to get to where they may be held."

Fortunate they did not fire. She had no doubt she could defend herself against some blasters or slugs. But she might not be able to be gentle with them. A fight was a fight, and there was little room for patience in her mind whether or not they were supposed to be allies or not. Strosius would have been far more concerning, but he'd called them off.

"Simplest path is usually just breaking through," she smiled and shrugged, "But I imagine that might risk damage to at least some of the interesting stuff."

So far, no tragedies at least. Though she was on alert for threats, both corporal and incorporeal. Her physical and force based senses amped up, and on high alert. Strosius himself, or things with him, certainly weren't particularly hidden in the force it seemed. Detecting that was secondary to the sights, smells, and sounds, that her other senses were so highly attuned to. But her sense in the force was still good enough for that.

"I probably have less interest in most of what we may find than you, and practical use for it. So mind if I tag along? Though, if there is a fight with any noteworthy opponents, I'd likely try and get myself at least somewhat separated from the group. My style when I'm actually trying is unsafe for those nearby." She added the last part with a slight bit of amusement in her voice, but she intended it to be completely serious. It was really more of concern for his troops, than it was for him. She doubted he'd be caught off guard as easily by a hurled stone or spray of fire and lava from her blade. But it was still worth noting.

Her part about artifacts was likewise true, she was here only as a formal matter of being here. To do at least do something. If that something was just helping Strosius, hopefully a non-enemy. That seemed likely good enough. If Malum didn't like it he'd have to tell her himself for future occasions.
