HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Argentum Company makes their home on the privateer corvette, Amarrnth. Comprised of trustworthy crew members from when Corvo and the ship’s XO took over the ship from her previous pirate captain. Those they couldn’t trust met the same sudden end as their former leader, before the ship was slowly re-crewed so that each new member was tested and integrated into the company to ensure loyalty and skill. They’re trained and drilled by Karda Vahl so that their skills stay sharp, and the Company is run similarly to any professional security force.

The Executive Officer, Karda Vahl, is a former corporate security supervisor and part of a black team in the corporate sector authority specializing in high-risk asset extractions & sedition suppression. After a member of her team blew an operation, the fallout hit her whole team, and she was let go as part of a liability restructuring. With a black mark against her name and the CSA being the way it is, Karda had few options other than turning her skills and training to crime. Working as a bruiser for port gangs, she soon found herself in trouble with corporate law enforcement and fled aboard a pirate ship where her leadership and security skills soon saw her rising to position as executive officer.
