DESCRIPTION
Acting as a coil gun, the Parabellum fires high-powered micro grenades that utilize gyrojets once they exit the barrel. This gives them excellent initial speed before each round further accelerates on its own while preventing a build-up of gasses inside the weapon. When direct firing, the range finder can pre-set a grenade’s airburst to +/- one to five meters, or set them to direct impact. Grenades can also be fired only by the Parabellum’s coils without activating their gyrojets so they can be ‘lobbed’ in from a higher arc, potentially landing behind cover or in an attempt to find weaker covering armor. This is made easier by its integration with various targeting HUD’s though it can easily be ‘dumb-fired.’ Other firing options include full-auto, single, and burst, with selectable firing rates. The grenades are 20 mm or 12 gauge in diameter and are as powerful as their full-sized counterparts.
